We've been staying in this Premier Inn on holiday for years now and very rarely had problems. Plenty of rooms available and a good all-you-can-eat breakfast. Parking is available (though may be charged) in both the Premier Inn Car Park and the Morrisons Car Park across the road (if you need to pop into the hotel for a few minutes). It is also situated not too far from the cities of Wells and Bath, Longleat, and local restaurants.

Stayed in the Premier Inn Wells for short break. Very clean and excellent breakfast. £7 parking is a nuisance and you can't pay at reception you have to get a Q code and go out to meter and put your details in. Easy enough but not when you are in a rush to get to the airport early in the morning!!! However, very good stay and LUKE was SUPERB nothing was too much trouble for him. In fact he made our stay!!

Up to the usual reliable standards of Premier inn. Just found it poorly designed for pedestrian access.having the entrance at the front facing the main road but no access by foot without having to walk around the building seems stupid.

Only on the edge of the city(walkable to the cathedral). Nice and quiet. Good clean and comfy rooms and good breakfast. Staff friendly and welcoming. The Irish gentleman chef doing the breakfast was a friendly chap.

Stayed here for a long weekend. Quiet location, considering we were facing a main road and a large Morrisons supermarket with a petrol station. Staff were approachable and welcoming. WiFi was good during our stay. Hotel is a good base to explore the area of Wells, Glastonbury and National Trust Stourhead. Hotel is walking distance of Wells Bus Station and town centre. Behind the Premier Inn there is a footpath that leads on to connecting paths/quiet lanes to Glastonbury Tor (see an OS map for details). Hotel car parking is chargeable and paid at the end of your stay.

Great in terms of rooms as always in a Premier Inn. Internet was woefully slow, including the pay-for premium one. We made the mistake of eating there. Stale dough balls? £5+ please. Food was bad, expensive and the restaurant totally understaffed. You can't expect staff to do reception, wash dishes, take orders, serve hot food, take payment etc.

The room was a standard premier inn room fairly decent as always…. It’s just the no opening of windows makes me feel claustrophobic and rooms get stuffy very easily and can’t get fresh air in room even with the noisy air conditioning running keeping me up most the night. Very disappointed premier inn have made most hotels sealed windows as will be trying to avoid them in future.

I stayed at this Premier Inn on a Tuesday - arrived around 9 pm - it is about a 10 minute walk from the Bus Station in Wells - Breakfast is help yourself and weekdays is available from 0630 to 1030 - cooked is £9.99 - east as much as you like buffet style Parking is available at a cost of £4.50 for 24 hours but the receptionist will deal with this when you arrive - I had a room that wold have slept a family double and single and seemed to have an interlocking door to the room next door if needed

Strong contender for worst WiFi in Europe- expect 1990s dial up speeds. Sound insulation between floors non existent - but it is located next to lovely Wells so as a hotel it doesn’t have to try very hard - so it doesn’t bother

First time I've bought food here for over a year. Won't be doing it again, chips looked reheated and battered sausage was overcooked in a hard biscuity batter. Looks as if has changed owners, worst meal I have ever purchased. Shame because it used to be the best in the area.

Went for Sunday lunch on the recommendation of a neighbour and we weren't disappointed. We had a huge plate of home cooked dinner and it was very tasty. It was very affordable. There was a good atmosphere. It is dog friendly and there is a car park. Lovely pub!
