My daughter booked this Premir inn as it is very close to Peppa Pig world at Paultons Park for a family weekend away with my 4 year old grandson. We were given our room, the beds were rock hard as were the pillows and there was mould on the bathroom ceiling however on raising this we were told as it was the Easter Bank Holiday they were fully booked. Later that evening the lights in our room went out and would not come back on. We spoke to reception who duly attended and checked the fuse box in our room. This did not work however when they went to the main fuse box they got the lights back on however on my grandson flicked on the bathroom light, bright orange sparks came out the fuse box and light switch. They offered to move us to another room however could not agree which one. The male on reception became very verbally abusive towards us and his young colleague, leaving her in tears, swearing in front of ourselves and other guests. When this was finally resolved my grandson was distraught and I was left to move all our luggage with no offer of assistance. To top it all Premier Inn, despite offering a refund had the gall to take the cost of the room out of my bank over a week later and have not offered any sort of apology or compensation

We stayed here for two nights in September 2020 and after stumbling upon its TripAdvisor rating I’ve felt compelled to leave a review in order to provide some balance. We found the staff in the Premier Inn and the adjacent Vine Inn Hungry Horse all to be very polite, helpful and considerate, and service always (no exaggeration) with a warn smile and friendly conversation. The Premier Inn was very comfortable and as consistent in terms of welcome, efficiency of check in and cleanliness as we’ve always come to expect from the chain, all very good so well done! Reception desk were very helpful, firstly over the phone when I made breakfast reservations in advance of our stay, upon check in and also when we then had to change our second day’s breakfast plans due to a change in itinerary, reasonable and flexible enough to honour a refund a we’d prepaid for both days in advance. Premier Inn breakfast was well controlled in terms of Covid precautions and whilst a slight compromise versus the immense choice of self-service breakfast were used to, this is a minor inconvenience against the backdrop of Covid-19 and I must say how impressed we were with the work rate of the breakfast crew who did not stop in their quest to make sure every guest was fed and watered whilst being protected at the same time, and excellent effort all round! We ate at the Vine Inn for both evening meals. Again they have good systems in place for Covid protection and the table ordering App worked a treat throughout, with service for food and drinks always very prompt. Again, I cannot reiterate how friendly and accommodating every staff member was (this also extends to their breakfast team as we ate there on our second morning due to a change of planned breakfast time). Every meal we ate at the restaurant was of a very high standard. We had steaks on both occasions, burgers, chicken supreme, pie, curries, and children’s meals and across this diverse range of food every diner in our party was extremely satisfied, with the steaks being of far superior quality than what we’d expected! The steak on our first night looked so good that I ordered one myself the following evening and this was equally as good! Couple the food quality with the very reasonable prices, good bar drinks selection and the outdoor play area which occupied the kids and we simply cannot fault the restaurant. I was amazed to read its TripAdvisor when in our experience every element of it actually surpassed our expectations and contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable family weekend away. Thank you to all your staff and we’ll no doubt see you again soon!

Typical Premier inn in a nice location. There’s a Beefeater restaurant which doubles as the hotels breakfast restaurant. Breakfast was good however the quality of the evening meals is questionable fortunately there’s a pub restaurant within walking distance which offers a discount to hotel residents. I did have an issue with the standard of housekeeping - cups not cleaned, hairs from the cleaning cloth left over the sink area. Next to the bedside there’s a power point and USB connection. Rate fluctuated enormously going as high as £184!!

Hotel ok, usual good beds etc from Premier Inn. Rooms were stifling in the heat, no air-con. Breakfast is terrible. Charged usual Premier Inn price, but awful coffee out of flasks, no fruit, all pastries limp and soggy. Surprising when you consider how consistent this normally is. Attached pub is filthy, everything you touch is sticky. Just 2 poor employees behind the bar to serve a huge audience. 30 minute wait for a drink. We ended up going out for dinner. Lost the will. Location is next to Paultons Park, so that's how they keep going, so sure they will do fine.

The Vine pub associated with the Premier Inn in Southampton West really needs to do better. It relies on the fact that it has a captive clientele of families visiting Peppa Pig just down the road. The restaurant was grubby and understaffed, manned by overworked, stressed-out well meaning staff. Many of the breakfast items kept running out, like brown bread and fruit salad. You have to make your own coffee/tea from flasks of water, which initially contained luke-warm water. We felt sorry for the staff - it wasn’t their fault. Management of the pub/Premier Inn are the ones that need to address the issues.

I use Premier Inn very regularly for business and often for pleasure as they are always clean and well appointed and convenient. This one however seems to be on the redevelopment list as it has air con in the room but non are working and it even says no air con on the website. That wasn’t a problem as it was convenient for Peppa Pig World where we were taking our grandson for the weekend. For added convenience we thought we would book the restaurant on line for 7pm as we realised it could be busy. Not really our kind of restaurant but this would be convenient. What a mistake as they didnt have our booking and were so busy we had almost an hour queue to order food then another hour to get it. I cant believe Premier Inn want to be associated with this pub (its not a restaurant). Very disappointed in Premier Inn on this occasion and it will make me think twice next time booking a hotel.

They did provide fans but they didn’t do anything apart from blow warm air about as the windows don’t open enough. Had a problem with WIFI and receptionist had no clue and said nothing can be done till the morning.

We actually ate here twice as well as both breakfasts as we were staying family of 5 to go to the excellent Paultons park within walking distance.Breakfast was the standard I expected from premier inn help yourself to continental - - Basic British cooked breakfast made to order. usual array of muffins / pancakes / granola etc . only downside toaster was slow and not very good. multiple times required. limited fruit but kids eat free so paying £18 for the family to eat was good value. in the restaurant.the food was surprisingly fine I had the chicken burger my partner a roast and children had kids meals / chicken wraps / roast chicken dinners which all was good in portions, I was worried having read poor reviews its not 4* but with two meals deals and seating appropriate for a family place was busy but to be expected given the clientele of theme park goers with young children.Plus - Food was fine everyone had more than enough. little play park for the childrenstaff were happy to help when asked getting straws / water etc.Downsides no jugs of water / at breakfast / toaster / 2nd time we had a sticky table was not washed despite staff washing the one next to us. / Rubbish ordering at bar system which was very slow a created a long que. overall very convenient for the hotel / theme park wont break the bank and kids were happy partner and youngest got a good roast and no major complaints.

This is a Fayre & Square Restaurant. Similar to Brewers Fayre. Cheap but poor quality food. On arrival lots of chirpy girls serving in what looked like orderly chaosI was told there was an hours wait for food so settled down with a pint of cold cider to watch TV on their "very good" Wifi. I thought headphones would drown out some of the noise from the many children in there. The Cloud is useless only You Tube could play badly My starter was on the table before I could pour my drink ??? A poorly constructed Prawn Cocktail made with cheap basic ingredients. Swiftly followed by a Mixed Grill. My medium steak was raw a 1/4" from the surface. The meal was whisked away and returned a short time later with Ghandis flip flop for a steak.A dismal experience, not good after a long days work. The steak was of varying thickness so parts of it were actually as requested by accident, the egg yolks were just less than solid and the salad limp and lifeless the portions were small but that was a blessing!Nobody bothered to ask if our food was OK - which was probably just as well for my Tourettes!! Staying at attached Premier Inn, (5 stars) wanted a meal after traveling without driving any further. Ordered gammon and steak, arrived after about 30 minutes - waitress "placed" plates on table, no comment - no enjoy your meal??The gammon to be fair was good, however the rump steak for my wife (ordered medium rare) the "steak" was a cremated piece of fatty grizzle and totally inedible. No waiting staff around so took back to bar, barman not really interested but commented it looked a "bit" overcooked !!A replacement steak arrived 20 minutes later by which time I had finished my meal - a totally different cut of meat and cooked perfectly.A waiter (believe he was the manager) in passing asked if everything was OK, my wife informed the the 2nd steak was fine and explained what had happened, he offered a half hearted apology and walked off.We overheard a conversation with another customer and the "manager" on an adjacent table regarding how the apple dessert was cooked and the managers reply to the customer was "you can cook it your way at home but we cook it like this here" !! I believe the lady customer received a refund.Other reviews state poor staff, long wait for food, sticky tables and generally poor state of decor - all true.Needless to say we will not eat here again

Visiting family over the Christmas holidays, we needed somewhere to stay for one night on 27th December. Aware of the poor reputation of The Vine Inn (we used to live in this area) we booked 2 rooms, without breakfast, for my family of 4 adults. The rooms were perfect. Comfortable beds, quiet location, clean and well presented rooms with adequately stocked en suites. I cannot fault the sleeping accommodation, 5 Stars to you Premier Inn.When we checked in just after the arrival time of 2pm, sadly our rooms weren't ready and so it was suggested that we waited in The Vine restaurant area next door until the receptionist from the desk came and found us once the rooms were ready. We purchased hot drinks whilst we waited and sadly nothing had improved in this scruffy, dirty and sticky (tables, bar and floor) restaurant. It's such a shame that the Premier Inn allows this 'restaurant' to be considered part of its successful chain. Do you actually read the reviews? If I stay here again, I won't be using the restaurant but I would recommend the 'accommodation only' tariff.

We were visiting a relative for breakfast who was staying at the attached Premier Inn. I travel around the country and have stayed at a large selection of Premier Inn's over the past few years, this has to be the worst attached Restaurant/Pub going. The breakfast was utter chaos, all though it was busy this is no excuse. I have seen smaller Premier Inn's cope with much more. The restaurant was dirty and tables left a mess, the self service hot food area was a clutter and just generally not well presented. The other area for toast, cereals and drinks was messy and untidy with a mixture of different jugs (not the usual Premier Inn standard). People were waiting for clean plates, glasses and more milk. There were constantly low on everything including the hot meals. The hot meals hot plates were all fed from one extension lead, I would question the safety of this as the load was likely to be over the recommended amount for one extension lead.Although we didn't stay at the attached Premier Inn (the rooms look modern) this Restaurant is tired and in desperate need of a refresh and a serious look at the staffing process. If you are staying in the Premier Inn, you don't have much chose of local alternatives for Breakfasts but if you are considering this for a place for lunch/dinner, possibly rethink.

Hotel itself is very good, nice clean spacious room, (booked a family room), obv it is only a premier inn, so quite basic accommodation, but its in a VERY good location for Peppa Pig world, (paultons park), which was one of reasons for visiting. Its just down road, 5mins away, very handy! Only downside to this hotel is the pub that is attached to is DIRE, didn't even bother going in as the outside says it all..... & so does the really poor reviews on trip advisor!! My suspicions were also confirmed when in reception on first night, to hear a lady complaining that there was over 1 hour wait for food at 8pm & she needed to feed her young children!! Its a real shame as it could be such a great place if they cleaned it up a bit, & gave the pub some TLC!!!

On arrival at the Premier Inn we were told that there were only 2 kitchen staff on duty and given directions to another restaurant. We decided to see how long the wait would be and were given a table straight away. Our waitress was very pleasant and our food was served quite quickly. There was a holdup with the drinks but the waitress apologised and brought them to the table as soon as she could. Having read other reviews, I was doubtful if we should eat there, but with a 3 year old who was tired we didn't want to travel further for a meal. The restaurant could do with a refurb and some of the tables had mess underneath them, but it was busy. Most of the waiting staff were young teens who maybe didn't pay attention to those details. Rosie, our waitress was very nice. Breakfast the following morning was ok with freshly cooked poached eggs done to order. Again, it was very busy with lots of families so at times plates ran out but were quickly replenished.

When asked were the rest was plus the sauce the staff were like oh well get it, not helpful at all really. They brought the rice but no sauce. Eventually one of the sauces was brought out but not mine. By the time it did come which I had to request again! My meal was freezing cold. The girl offered to reheat it (reheat fish and rice!!!!) I declined and a fresh meal was prepared but by this time everyone else had finished. No one came to clear the tables we had to do it ourselves! We wanted to order desert, when asked for a menu the waitress said oh I've finished now sorry..... Went and found my own. Had to wait a good 20 mins at the bar to be served. Placed our order and waited an excessive amount of time. As we had 3 cranky toddlers we decided to cancel the desert. The waitress said oh sorry the girl who has been serving your section has gone home and I don't do your tables!!!!!! Disgusting service. The manager who was actually really lovely came over personally and apologised profusely, he gave the lot of us the meal on the house. This restaurant is attached to premier inn and literally 2 mins away from Paultons park peppa pig world so realistically should do really well, however, the staff working there are young and couldn't care less. No work ethic and need training effectively soon before someone gets Ill. Such a shame as we were looking to go for a meal somewhere the following night, but this experience totally put us off.

see my direct review for the vine pub, but in brief, food inedible, in the evening waste of money. the breakfast full English was more of a joke 1 sausage, 1 bacon 1 egg and a tomato, that was all on the plate for £8 something, yes you can have cereal and toast too, but when you pay a lot more for a cooked breakfast than the continental then you expect a lot more, and for it be of an edible quality. this pub restaurant isn't worth a visit. Premier inn it is attached too is lovely though, shame it lets it down badly.

I stay in premier inn's for work quite often all over the country, all are very similar which is good but this unfortunately was the worse for food quality I've stayed at. Don't get me wrong it wasn't unbelievably bad just the worst so far. I had the 'square burger' which really did look awful, McDonald's burgers look a better quality than this, that said they replaced this straight away with sausage and mash which was much better, everybody else's meals were ok so maybe just one thing to stay clear of is the burger. Prices were cheap so you can't expect the world.Staff were nice and polite no complaints there.

well where do I start ... As it took awhile for the girl on front desk to seat us it should of told us something ?! We had ordered The Cod Father, the chips were greasy and cold and had an odd taste ,the fish turned up broken in half and swimming in fat the only edible thing on the plate was the garden peas although cold too. The Chicken NewYorker, the peas were almost yellow(obviously not from the same batch as previous) chips were cold again and greasy, chicken was ok just ,the onion rings weren't crispy they were soggy and cold chips actually seemed like they had been sitting around for awhile , two children's meals of Lollipop Chicken and chicken burger both with chips ,children wouldn't eat the chips as said they were cold and just not nice the lollipop chicken turned up with no lollipop sticks when mentioned to waitress her reply was 'oh,ran out ' the chicken burger was absolutely disgusting, swimming in grease in a roll that was just soaking up the grease totally inedible.the last meal was the Nachos ordered as a main -wise choice as no cooking involved!! And was actually the only edible meal out of 5 ordered. I took my daughter to the toilet at one point and in the middle toilet of the ladies the window has been taped up with black tape gaps in window pane had the tree branches from outside growing through it , my husband took our son to the men's toilet and next to one urinal the radiator was almost falling apart due to the amount of rust on it. Hardly any staff in the establishment and one girl cleaning tables (apparently!)obviously didn't want to be there due to her half hearted attempt at cleaning .. We had booked for two evening meals at this Fayre and Square but we are going else where tonight !! Such a shame for Premier Inn guests as the restaurant lets the whole experience down . Perhaps Premier Inn could train the staff at this establishment on cleanliness etc !? Lovely Premier Inn first time at this particular one, helpful friendly staff from reception to house keepers .

Unfortunately this restaurant has a captive audience with the residents of The Premier Inn Hotel so when you pay for breakfast or dinner thru the hotel when booking this is were you will be eating. On our visits over a 3 day stay the restaurant was always dirty, unfinished meals and dirty dishes left piled high on tables. Staff were rude and looked as if they would rather be anymore but there!! Breakfast was all swimming in grease, and on the last evening they just decided to hang a note on their door "Closed system failure" which was probably a blessing in disguise as it was only a matter of time before 1 of our group got food poisoned from the food. There is a McDonalds only 10 minutes walk away and also another lovely restaurant equal distance in opposite direction called the Mortimer Inn which is dearer but worth it for nice food.

Ordered mixed grill, blonde hairs in food, steak smelled and tasted of liver, tomatoes and onion rings were not edible, bounced when dropped, chef had a winter beanie hat on his head and was messing around with loud music blaring out from kitchen, 2nd chef had cap on head with hair down to his shoulders, no hair nets or suitable clothing for working with food ! I work in a kitchen with 5 star rating and know that this kitchen should not be providing food to customers, very poor indeed !!!

We stayed at the attached Premier Inn for 1 night. We ate dinner and breakfast here. We had a 3.5 hour journey to the hotel and arrived late for tea so we're all pretty hungry. I would like to point out I'm not a chain good snob (as I know they exist) all I ask of a restaurant such as this is hot food that tastes ok and is cooked as it should be. The food here was very poor, chips seemed re-fried and very fatty, my sons egg wasn't cooked and his sausages were overcooked! I had ribs on my dish and they had no flavour. Just very poor quality. We hoped that breakfast my be a redeeming point but unfortunately not. A typical buffet breakfast but cooked breakfast had to be ordered. We waited about 30mins for our cooked breakfast and my husbands eggs were raw (again) and the hash browns were so fatty (and dirty fat at that) that they couldn't be eaten! There wasn't a clean tea spoon anywhere. The restaurant itself looks very tired and run down, the toilets were poor (the men's so dirty my husband couldn't take my 3yr old to the toilet in there). It's almost as if they don't care because if you stay in the hotel there is nowhere else to eat so they don't have to win your custom. This restaurant really pulls the hotel down! Very disappointing!

yes as the title suggest we won't be going back. If you like cheap food and don't really care about the quality this is for you. It's run down, filthy, I stuck to the wall when I leant against it. I particularly liked the radiator in the men's toilets situated next to the urinal. It was splattered in rust from all the urine over the years. If the management are not worried about things like this what's going on in the kitchen? I shudder to think. Good luck!

Good for a couple of nights stay and great for easy reach of Paulton Park (which we visited) but noisy families running up and down with kids which was abit naughty considering it was a quiet zone..! We have two young kids and would not allow our kids to screech along the corridors...shocking! Overall good for a short stay.

This is a review on the pub that is now called 'fayre and square'. We stayed in the hotel overnight and foolishly didn't book the restaurant. As we arrived the car park was nearly full so we released our mistake and assumed we may have to go elsewhere. On the contrary they did everything they could to accommodate and soon found us a table, despite "ah we are fully booked but let me see what I can do". The bar staff we quick, efficient and very helpful. Upon warning us that we were in for a 45 minute wait, within 10 minutes our meals were served. A pleasant evening where the staff made the best of what they had, under the extremely busy circumstance they found themselves in.

This is actually a Fayre and Square pub with a wacky Warehouse attached. We were staying at the Premier Inn and had our evening meal and breakfast here.I had the Sunday Roast and a large glass of wine, my daughter had the sausage children's meal in total it cost just £15.00 so good pricing but the meal was very dry - |I had to ask for extra gravy to try and moisten it up but I still ended up leaving most of it. They do have a policy to change any meal you are not happy with - speak up straight away - because I only explained as the end what the problem was I was told I should have stated so at the beginning.Breakfast was better. All the cereals, fruit, bread etc you help yourself to, but you order you hot breakfast - now this is a 'premier' breakfast so you should be able to eat as much as you like but I think it puts you off having to give an order for a very large breakfast - and are you allowed to order two? I wasn't brave enough to find out.Beware of the toaster it just lightly browns your bread and then when you put it through again - it caught on fire! Staff in the morning were very friendly - not so much at the nighttime. For families there is a nice out door play area and the attached wacky warehouse - but it is the smallest Wacky I have seen.

Although joined to the Premier Inn this pub/resturant is owned by a seperate chain that let the Premier Inn use the facilities. Great value on the food 2 for £10 also good portions, cooked well but slighly on the cold side. All childrens meals £3.50. Drinks very expensive £3.59 pint of Fosters . It is advised to book a table as this resturant gets very busy at weekends with familys going to Peppa Pig World or couples staying overnight befor they cruise. Service can take longer sometime with all the familys eating early. Best to eat later in the evening. Although the staff are rushed off their feet nothing is to much trouble.Overall good on the food but make up for it on the drinks.

Ate here on the Wednesday night and Thursday morning as was staying at the Premier Inn next door. We had the garlic mushrooms and pop-erty pop chicken to start. Both nice, although the pot of BBQ sauce was far too big! Mains were the mixed grill and New Yorker chicken. Again, both nice and both plates almost cleared. The mozzarella and bacon topping on the chicken was slightly burned but nothing horrendous. Service was excellent, very impressed that the chap who brought the mains was twisting around and making more work for himself rather than pass hot food over my baby daughter in her pushchair. Big mummy points there!Breakfast... Hmmm. Food was good, crumpets a bit tasteless for me, but otherwise very good. Service needs attention however. You have to wait to be seated which is understandable as they have to check you off. The podium however is pretty much out of sight of the whole breakfast area, so there can be a bit of a wait. Also, staff need to think about what type of table the customer needs rather than just going to the nearest free one. A table on the main drag with a 'wall' at one end and a small gap between another table is not suitable for a couple and pushchair. Organisation needed of staff, as everyone was doing the same jobs, rather than one seating and taking breakfast orders, one bringing food out and one clearing up, with maybe one or two more replenishing and helping where needed. Overall the food was good, hot, tasty and plentiful!

We dined here on Sunday evening as we were staying at the Premier Inn hotel to visit Peppa Pig world. Please avoid this dreadful place at all costs. The meal was appalling, the mixed grill meat looked as though it had been poached in the microwave and was certainly not in any way chargrilled, the chips were soggy. The only edible part was the bowl of rice and peas ordered for our daughter. The floor was sticky, toilets unclean, tables and cutlery were dirty; the place was clearly understaffed and the wait for the inedible food was over half an hour. The playground outside was full of litter and the benches dirty. My wife would rather have gone to McDonalds which was behind the petrol station at the services up the road but yes that would have been a much better option. If Premier Inn don't want their reputation for reasonable and clean overnight accommodation affected then the food options need to be upgraded.

We ate there this weekend after staying locally at the Mortimar Arms but thinking that this restaurant was more kid friendly and more within our budget. Our meal for 2 adults and 3 small children including a shared starter, mains and deserts and a bottle of wine came to £55 so pretty good value. Food was usual fast fare and so nothing to write home about but it was hot and edible and the food were welcome and we didn't feel uncomfortable with 3 little one's at 6pm at night so that was good. The kids were given drawing pens and paper which really helped. Nothing memorable but definately doable.

In December I gave a better review of this canteen. Sorry but since then it's gone downhill. Meals? As long as it can be fried then it's on the menu. To me it would appear that every thing comes with extremely cheap bagged salad no evidence of leaves. I gave this place another chance and it has failed big time. Staff are friendly but sparce. Please stop squeezing tables for 2 in-between tables of 4, i don't believe the staff would sit there. Will not use it again sorry and sadly that reflects on me returning to the Premier inn.

Stopped using this premier inn because of the restaurant, basically it was crap! BUT visited in December and it has changed. It has been restyled, new menu, and good staff. What a transformation. The food served is pub grub but cooked well and the portion size is good. Could do with more bar staff but I will return! Well done.

We have just return from here after taking our disabled daughter on a two day break. I booked into this hotel as it was just a stone throw away from peppa pig world (you could walk it) The room was lovely and comfortable and we all settled in well (quite good when you have a child with autism). We were asked on arrival if we would like to book a table in the restaurant I was abit unsure as reading reviews about the restaurant wasn't good but thought better of it as it is handy being just next door. I should of taken note as we got into the restaurant we went to where we had to wait to be taken to our table. We waited and waited and waited staff were walking passed but taking no notice. I said to my husband I told you we should of gone somewhere else if we have to wait to be seated this long what is it going to be like waiting for food. By this time our daughter was starting to get very anxious a table very close to us was given there food it looked awful the man pick up what I thought was a chip and said "this is awful I have waited over an hour for our food to turn up and look at this it is disgusting". My husband then walked up to the gentleman and he said to him that he had been sitting there for over an hour and that was before it was busy. He said right we are going somewhere else. We managed to speak to a member of staff and our reservation wasn't even there and everyone elses from the hotel was just on a post it note. She was very rude and said it because of peppa pig and it is holiday time. We contacted another premier inn just a few miles along the road and they were fanastic and managed to find us a table the lady was very kind and told us to come straight away it was the gateway table table about 9 miles from where we were staying she even directed us in. I said to them while I was there that I hope that breakfast is better they then told us that if not come back to us. Breakfast was ok the next day not brilliant tables were very sticky and if you wanted a cooked breakfast there was quite a wait. The last day for breakfast was awful I asked the person serving us if he could take our order and he said i will be over in a minute and he just carried on laying out knifes and forks eventually another member of staff took the order the breakfast came out eventually but completely different to what we had ordered we didn't say anything though as didn't want to have to wait any longer. I also noticed that a couple that had come in for breakfast hadn't been booked in and people were also taking themselves to there tables as they couldn't be bothered to wait any longer. I have been to a number of premier inns that are alot bigger than this one with alot bigger restaurants attached and they can manage even in peak season so why they can't manage is unbelieveable. I will not being staying here again when we go back to see peppa!!

Popped in last Friday lunchtime for a snack. A bit out our or way, and our last visit was 20 yrs ago! We had a dog with us, so sat outside in the covered area. Everything very clean, and the BLT Panini's were made with fresh ingredients, and very tasty. Outside , so tea was in a cardboard cup, but decent nevertheless. Could not leave without having an Ice Cream, so had a large cone with 4 scoops of different flavoured ice cream,(For the reviewer who complained it is watery, it is gelato, kind of halfway between ice cream and sorbet). Very good indeed, well prepared fresh food, and great value. Staff were helpful, and would certainly make a detour to visit again

Food was rubbish, really bad. Thai red curry was not a Thai red curry. Strange unpleasant inedible mess. Tasted like off coconut milk was used. Vile. Chips both undercooked and greasy. Prices were high. A total waste of money, more of a con, taking £60 off of us for that crap. Nothing good at all about the food here I’m sorry to say. A dreadful experience - avoid.
