Only stayed 1 night, all good. Special mention to Jobie(?) who checked me in and was really, really kind & patient - a credit to the team!

Bit outdated but rooms are clean, and beds are comfortable. The breakfast is amazing 👍🏻 The only issue - poor WiFi which is bit annoying as the mobile service over here is weak.

This premier Inn apart from the location if your travelling to Paultons Park is a disaster, the rooms and general communal decor require immediate maintenance and freshening up, our room had a view of an overgrown wasteland beside the hotel no thought or maintenance taken to improve the grounds or astethics how about planting some grass and then mowing it!! The car park surface has disintegrated and requires resurfacing immediately. Not one member of staff bothers to keep the rules in check or patrol corridors for excess noise and people camped out in the corridors at midnight shouting and screaming! Is it me or are you always next to mindless idiots who couldn't care less about anybody but themselves!! Cant phone reception no on answers!! Where are the staff no idea!! Fire door closers need adjusting on hallway doors as they slam again simple maintenance that needs fixing asap especially when you run a garunteed good night's sleep policy! Excessive road noise if windows are open which they have to be in summer as a massive hotel chain in 2024 cannot provide split unit Air conditiong!! I mean the list goes on, but all in all great location for visiting Paultons Park but that's it, it's a dire experience and the plans needs knocking down and starting again or a large cash injection, these hotels are not cheap anymore so there's no excuse!! Simply not good enoughat all!!

I was pleasantly happy with my stay here. Room was clean and bed was good. I do feel it needs a bit of TLC/Modernisation though to be brought up to that more modern Premier Inn feel I have experienced in newer builds. Im not fussy though, I just like a bed for the night and good breakfast (which was lovely)… and this ticks the box. Lovely staff too.

Let me first say that we selcted this location purely on accessibility to our planned biking trip and of course the ideal pricing and availability to house 4 families inclusive of children ranging from ages 16yrs to 3yrs. Our families were not prepared for the inappropriate, rude, dismissive and accusative allegations we experienced from the moment of our arrival! The last straw landed when Gareth would accuse me this morning of 'stealing' a breakfast meal after I had arrived later than my other family members. His manner was rude and unprofessional as he spoke loudly in the dining room to my brother and I regarding our right to have that meal. Surely it would serve him well to have known the number of persons listed against each room to know that we were all legitimately there. He also accused us of entertaining in excess of the room allocations...We were in usage of 7 rooms... all related, Was it house policy that inhouse guests were not permitted to visit another's room? Yes. We were 4 black families. All related and treated in the most humilating manner. By the end of breakfast we were only too happy to leave that establisment. Never again will we do Premier Inn, even if it's the last option! I could complain about the spiders, the damp in the accessibility room, the limescale in the kettle, the dust in no go areas, the wi-fi only attainable on ground level and the east side of the building, the dirty carpet, the key cards that worked inconsistently... but those issues can be addressed with due care and attention. The matter of customer service however would require more than care and attention but rather a genuine interest in the well being of all inn occupants. It would require persons with an all inclusive attitude and a respectful mindset towards all guests within the Inn in order to accelerate this experience beyond a place to 'lay one's head for a 2night' stay to that of a homely get away of ease and relaxation! Recommendation... Your (Mr) Gareth as team lead needs to revisit customer service training so he can be eqipped to face all nationalities and ethnic minorities guests of Premier Inn.

I am highly disappointed at my stay here. The staff members were very unprofessional especially Gareth (the team lead) who accused my family (who were the only black visitors over this weekend) of sneaking people into the hotel. He also admitted that the team had been walking past our rooms to how many people enter. Baring in mind we had booked 7 rooms for my family. Gareth also went around to other members of staff on the day of check in stating that “he knows that room will be trouble” pointing to the room where two teenage boys from my family were staying in. Additionally, the rooms are horrible (please see pictures attached) the rooms had not be cleaned, dust all over room, limescale in the kettle, several spiders in the room and our room key did not work (lights would not switch on) when we brought this up to staff -one said we had to insert two keycard into the switch for it work and told us not to tell anyone that she did that. Lastly, this hotel is in the middle of no where. There is a pub attached to the hotel however, when my family went into there, we were told by staff that the kitchen had closed extra early today (at 8pm instead of 9pm) as the staff felt overwhelmed as it was busy although there was only around 4 white people sitting in the whole of the inside pub and around 5 white people sitting outside. I got the impression they did not want to service my family as they were black. We had to drive 30 minutes into the city for food by this time many of the kitchens had closed. Overall, the staff are very unprofessional, the place seems racist, rooms are dirty, Wi-Fi is also rubbish. You are better off staying at home.

This experience has been the absolute worst experience for me and my family. We were greeted with nothing but prejudiced remarks and treatment for our entire stay from the moment we arrived. My room in particular was an accessibility room which is completely fine, however it was not thoroughly cleaned. There were cobwebs and spiders on the walls and behind the tv and the kettle were full of dust. Furthermore, the lights did not work even with our room cards and therefore me and my roommate had to use one card for us both. Later that same night, my entire family had issues with our room card and when we approached the front desk the customer service was poor. As an all black family we felt unsafe and uncomfortable during our stay. We were accused by Gareth in particular of not paying for our rooms and our breakfasts and sneaking people in. Which had no basis as he could clearly see how many individuals were in each room and that we were all accounted for. Not only were these remarks made to the adults but also to children in our family that could not defend themselves which is completely inappropriate! I can assure you that the adults in our party who all have steady careers and pay their bills do not have the time or effort to sneak anyone in to a 60 pound a night hotel. Not only did Gareth make these racists remarks to us but he proceeded to speak about it non discreetly to anyone in a five mile radius who would hear it which was very unsettling for our family having to hear lies on repeat during our stay. What made it worse was to hear whispers of other families who rated it as “the best experience” which clearly indicated that our family, the only black family present was treated differently. If you are an ethnic minority I recommend finding another place to stay, especially if you are travelling in a larger group.

This hotel was exactly what we needed. The only problem was the air con. On google when I booked it, it said that the room had air con and when we got to the room, there wasn’t any. The staff were really friendly tho and gave us a fan which solved the problem. The beds were amazing as always and it’s fairly modern

The staff were lovely. The carpet was so old and grubby, you wouldn't want to step on it without shoes. I thankfully had flip flops for when I stepped out the shower or bed. We like Premier Inn beds and have enjoyed their other hotels in the past. In this hotel there is thick dust behind the TV's. I am sure a deep clean and new carpets would make this dated hotel much better. The USB socket wasn't working, reception kindly let us use a USB plug, that we returned on departure.

Stayed for two nights to take my daughter to Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park very close to the hotel. Very helpful staff, clean & pleasant rooms, comfortable beds and the breakfast each morning was great with plenty of choice. The only negatives were a missing bedside table and the fact that room 5 that we were staying in was right next to the service/laundry room, so we were woken up one morning by the sound of laundry being delivered at 7am! Also, the food in the pub next door to the hotel wasn’t great so I’d recommend walking 10 minutes down the road to The Mortimer Arms pub, where the food was much nicer.

Excellent stay, friendly staff. Our room was spacious and clean. Plenty of free parking and very good location. Close to Paulton Park and M27 too. A full english breakfast with all the trimmings. One of the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Will definitely return here.

We stayed here for my daughters birthday and it was perfect for what we needed. A bed for the night before we hit peppa pig world at poultans park. Room was ready in check in, clean and tidy room made up with all we needed included a travel cot and sheet. Pub next door is very tired and needs a refresh so was glad not to have breakfast in there the next morning. The premier inn has its own restaurant for breakfast - we had a full English which was the best I had had for a very long time. Lots available on the hot buffet along with made to order pancakes! 🥞 Defo recommended!

Great location for Paultons Park, 5 mins drive, 15 mins walk. The hotel has had some renovations to the bathrooms, but could do with more, air conditioning, flooring, paintwork etc. The housekeeping staff do a great job. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choices for both Continental and cooked. The dining room staff worked hard to keep the flow of guests as well as keeping the tables and floor clean. The front of house staff were very friendly and helpful, shout out to Gareth who went above and beyond to help us out of a predicament. Free parking very much appreciated. The pub/restaurant next door is not affiliated with the hotel but serves good well priced food. Would definitely stay here again.

I went to the one in Poulner. Every time I go to either always nice people serving. Coffee and a doughnut AND a flapjack £4.60. That's £2.90 cheaper than Hockeys farmshop plus you get the extra doughnut! Doughnut past its best but I only went in late (c 5pm).

Ordered a delivery. The chicken had an odd texture: we managed 3 mouthfuls and threw it in the bin. This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered. Great first takeaway, second was average and thought I’d give them another try but it was a complete waste of money.
