Premier Inn Newbury Town Centre South (A339) hotel in West Berkshire

A great hotel for a great price! There's literally nothing to complain about. The all-inclusive breakfast was perfect. Thank you!

Paula could not have been more helpful, which was great as we were staying because of a funeral. We found everything great 👍

Had a lovely stay in Newbury it was a great location. We were seeing friends. Breakfast & dinner was plenty full , staff friendly & very helpful. Our friends were able to join us for food. Will definitely be returning.

Stayed here a few times over the years and sad to say the restaurant staff need a bit off training I found them especially the male who asigned the tables to be extremely rude and unprofessional will definitely give this place a wide berth pity it's in a good location.

Amazing place to stay great team

Arrived early to get early check in . Self check in machines out of order, took 30 mins to locate staff member. Restaurant dinner time had dreadful service although not busy but breakfast next morning good.

Good welcome, lots of parking, room 155 quite large and quiet at night. Windows don't open, room has air con but no fridges. As usual comfortable bed,clean linen, decent towels, TV and tea coffee station. Breakfast was fine, good selection and lively. If the price is right it's hard to beat. Close to a big Tesco, Lidl and Madonnals.

Easy to check in, nice staff and decent room, good breakfast, it's at the back of the industrial estates but it was very quiet which was nice

Well it is 1.59am and they have just started another batch of washing. the last started at 11:30pm. and finished at 1.11am. I am in room 104. The intermittent thrum, thrum,thrum and general deep buzzing reverberating through the bed. Until 11:30 I was enjoying my stay and yes I have been to see the staff.they have been told to do the washing overnight, so there you have it.

Room was very clean and comfortable.

The room was mostly clean; the toilet wasn't very clean but it was the underside of the seat and down the bowl. The rest of the room was fine. The service on reception was good, as expected. The bed had the most uncomfortable mattress and meant my husband and I slept poorly, and have come away with sore backs. Might be time to replace the mattress. Other good stay.

Best Premier Inn we've stayed in. Clean, friendly staff, good food for dinner and breakfast.

Woken up at 2am by morons drunk, running around the hallway and nicking the fire extinguishers from the hallways.otherthan that stay was fine, no one on reception in morning to address the complaint.

Having ran a 50 mile trail ultra marathon on the Saturday 6/4/24, I checked out on the Sunday 7/4/24 & left my headphones behind. I returned on the Monday 8/4/24 & spoke with Michelle & Tammy who retrieved them from lost property. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for making my entire year! It wasn’t the cost but the massive sentimental value behind them. Will stay here again & would recommend to everyone & anyone thinking about staying in Newbury! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutely perfect stay at premier inn Newbury south! Arrived to a large carpark easy to access with a pram and all of our luggage. Checked into the hotel and duty manager Paula was amazingly helpful, when we got to our room we noticed we were right near a partition door therefore asked to be moved due to the door closing potentially waking up our 5 month old daughter. Paula was super helpful and moved us straight away. Although the hotel is big and was obviously busy (car park full of an evening) you wouldn't know it - was super quiet at night time. Very clean, nothing was too much trouble for the team here. The breakfast was also amazing, the chef was happy to cook fresh produce if running low or not as fresh as you'd like. Plenty of selection of food and drink each morning, and even do a meal deal including an evening meal but we did not partake in this. I have to say, I think this is the best premier inn we've ever stayed in! Thankyou!

We had the best stay at this lovely Premier Inn on Monday 1 April. Tammy and Michelle were so helpful and friendly when we arrived. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a fabulous evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant.Thank you chef! Paula was so accommodating and looked after us so well. The best Premier Inn I have stayed in! Thank you

Nice hotel and nice rooms, if you get room 131 please reject it unless you want to be disturbed by the main door into the hotel all night. Directly above the door from the hotel to the restaurant and exit which squeals like an angry cat. Also never seems to be anyone on the hotel reception? Not sure if that’s because of the Easter weekend.

Ideal for where I was visiting, great beds, so glad I didn't pay for breakfast because I slept through each day, and a decent check out time. Only 4 star overall as the free WiFi was patchy in our room.

Very helpful staff, restaurant small, excellent breakfast, poor selection of beers, not very good for socialising.
