Premier Inn Maidstone (West Malling) hotel in Tonbridge and Malling

Stayed at the hotel a few weeks ago and the staff were so friendly and always happy to help. Location was good as it wasn’t too far from shops and restaurants. Food served at the hotel was good value for money. We had such a lovely stay and would definitely book again

I chose this hotel as it was a perfect location for a business meeting that I had to attend the following day. I was very impressed with every aspect of my stay. The girls on Reception were both friendly and very helpful. My room was clean and comfortable and I had an excellent night's sleep. I did not eat in the Restaurant so cannot comment on the food etc but will certainly give it a go next time I stay.

The entire room smells of thick bleach, which gives me a sore throat. The location is suitable for our purpose (might not be suitable for others as it’s in the middle of no where just off the motorway.)

You get what you pay for.... Average hotel. Key to note check all amenities as you check in. Toilet was missing toilet roll.

Wonderful staff clean only downside was poor network signal but they gave me free ultimate WiFi for free lovely staff

Brilliant service from reception to housekeeping Room was spotless.

The staff, apart from the slightly Prima Donna chef, are lovely. The same 3 women seemed to be on 24 hour duty and yet we're all smiley, warm and welcoming. The place though, especially the attached pub/restaurant, seems to be on the verge of closing. In the bar, there's nothing on tap, just bottles and cans in the fridge. To say the menu is limited is an understatement (we were warned of this though, but having been travelling for about 14 hours, we couldn't bring ourselves to walk to the next closest place doing food). The water pressure in my room fluctuated to the extent that the shower wasn't really useable, apart from in the middle of the night presumably as nobody else was using water. My colleague had a room where the telly was broken. There's absolutely no phone reception, and whilst premier inn do offer free WiFi it's never the fastest. You can pay to upgrade if you want. The real corker was breakfast over in the semi closed pub. I asked for toast. The chef refused 😁 The toaster wasn't working and he point blank refused to use the grill to make toast. I know there was bread, one of the staff grilled herself some toast. What kind of chef refuses to grill a slice of bread at breakfast for a customer? And it wasn't because he was busy, there were 3 people, including myself, in the place. You've gotta laugh. It's not like he's cooking haute cuisine is it? And being that you have to pay for the cooked breakfast it's a bit rich for the chef to refuse to cook it. All in all, the women who work there were wonderful and commendably upbeat in the face of adversity. This place is tolerable for a night, but if I go back to the area I'll stay somewhere else.

Check in went very smoothly & the room was clean & tidy.In particular the breakfast was excellent.Niall the restaurant host was cheery & helpful.I would stay here again.

I stayed here 2 weeks ago, the hotel seemed busy, but I could not fault the attitude and helpfulness of all members of staff. Our room was ready on arrival, very clean and comfortable, thank you for a great stay.

Stay away guys, I had a bad night at the Premier Inn at Castle Way Leybourne Way West Malling. It all started when we were checking in, the receptionist was busy cleaning someone else's room and getting their room ready, that’s why we were waiting to be served. we paid for our room, then had to wait for the room to be ready and she said it was only her working there. As soon as we entered the room, the smell hit us. It was a very musty moldy smell, but we settled in, so jet lagged and wanted to just sleep. Within a short time my wife found it hard to breathe, was coughing and had to leave the room. She must be allergic to mold., but something bad was going on in that room. We were moved to another room, the room with the noisy neighbour. Curtains falling down but we just went to bed. We could hear them upstairs walking around till 1.30 am then the snoring I would never stay here again!

Lovely historic place plenty to see and do.
