If I have to go to a chain coffee shop, I usually prefer to go to a Costa as the coffee is good and the staff are usually super nice. Well, I found one I DEFFINITLY won't be going back to. The staff here were really unpleasant. It's amazing how much one bad interaction can ruin your day. My advice to the nasty barista: Kindness costs you absolutely nothing and can lift your mood too.

WiFi doesn't work and no phone signal.

Always a relaxed good atmosphere

We ordered 1 Christmas ginger bread latte we asked for a light diary swirl instead of cream.The manager then decided to give us cream and didn't tell us then when we said it was cream he said yeah we are out of the light diary swirl.I was quite angry about him not telling us about it.Then we asked quite politely if he could make another due to he put cream and i dont like cream. We then asked him if we could have the Christmas ginger bread latte he said it was the same price as the normal but after some research he lied to us and charged us extra around 10p in know its only 10p but it is a bit rude. And when we asked for a Christmas ginger bread he said no and then charged us for a Christmas even though he gave us a normal. Overall tables dirty,manger rude,rest of staff ok.

Says it closes at 7pm, closes at 6:30pm on the door. Wouldn’t allow us to sit to drink at 6:10pm. Staff just couldn’t be bothered

Comfortable and friendly. I was there first thing on a wet day, so there were few customers. Staff were very bright and friendly.

It need a good clean and decorated.Tables were Dirty,and someone with outside clothes served a couple customers,she had just finished a vape and not washed her hands

This Costa is in an iconic World War 2 building as such there is a mural On the wall about historic event that happened there. When I asked the staff about it was I don't know I just work here.

Good drinks and food however when I went staff were quite rude and it was a little dirty. The tables had wet stains and spillages on them and the toilets were blocked with tissue

The flat white here was acceptable, the Costa in West Malling is usually better than this branch. To give credit where it is due the coffee today was better than previous visits here.

I really wish there was another coffee shop in Kings Hill because then maybe Costa would put some effort in with this one. It always seems to be messy and the tables don't seem to get cleaned properly once the customers have left. Meaning that when you arrive you're getting a side of crumbs with your seat.

Quick service and lots of seating available at lunchtime.

Not so good today, dishwasher was broken so had takeaway cups and cartons for food.

There are 2 Costas in Kings Hill. This one is a former aircraft control tower for West Malling airfield. On Sunday afternoons there is always a small queue- not many fresh pastries left.It is next to Little Waitrose so it is nice to stroll here for a coffee and then do some light food shopping.

Dirty filthy place. Needs new staff and a complete refit.

Horrendous. 11am tables dirty that was ones with out customs cups plates on them windows door hand marks all over them. Chair ripped dirty. I took photos but can load them here. Looking at reviews I am not only one said it dirty and Shabby. Why has nothing been done.I Will not be going again.

Coffee and hot cross bun fine but environment really not. Dirty (tables) - mine has sugar welded to it- some furniture ripped. Plenty of staff, not busy- but they were unfortunately just chatting with a friend who’d popped in. At the end of my 40 min visit, the tables were cleared but not one was wiped.

Seems like Costa is underinvesting in staff and store maintenance following Covid. Shop seemed rather grubby and tired inside - worn chairs, dirty tables with no one clearing them and wifi wasn't working. Slow service and people were given takeaway cups even if sitting inside (not great for the environment!) The place seemed understaffed and in need of quite a bit of TLC.

Usual quality of coffee's,just wish the staff payed more attention to the order so when they hand it to you,they don't tell you one of the coffee's is a decaff instead of a skinny latte`, while discussing about other staff members on furlough who should be sacked or kept employed.

Big area in front of the till to make sure you can socially distance whilst queuing. Best plastics screens I've seen so far!

The place was empty and the staff stood chatting behind the counter which left the coffee shop very untidy. I have never been in to such a dirty Costa Coffee. I wouldn't have minded if it had been packed but there were only 5 other customers and 3 members of staff. Very disappointing and not what I've come to expect from this chain. But the drinks we purchased were good.

Why is it the costa card facility appears to be always offline at these branches in Kings Hill?

Good memories of this place when it was the Control Tower of RAF West Malling. Good coffee too. Shame history has been obliterated by a bland housing estate.

All good but the peach iced tea was not very peachy. On the first two sips it was very peachy but all of the rest was just like ice and water. They were not friendly.

The original and smaller of the two Costas on Kings Hill but all the cosier for that. Flat white always perfectly prepared by lovely staff.

Nice coffee as always. But this coffee shop is often dirty with mugs not collected. Crumbs on the floor and under the tables. This has happened more than once and during off peak times. I dread to think what the toilets are like.

Arguably Kings Hill's finest cafe. Comfy, conveniently located to work. The staff are considerate and friendly.

Love this place! Small and friendly with well stocked counter and really helpful staff. Toilet has always been clean when I've been to the café. To me a sign of good management

Good and coffee great but the place seems to attract swarms of screaming children without anyone apparently acting as a parent. I guess it's probably a nice place to have a drink of coffee during school time.

There are two costs at Kings Hill. Be sure to go to the smaller one. The big one is grubby (including the cups you are served). I wasn't bothered given the cups state but there were no saucers clean to offer even. Clear here they utilise cheaper young staff. Not that young staff is a bad thing but.... In this case some training on time management and customer service is greatly needed. I really felt for them because they were under a lot of attack but they had no idea how to handle the grumpy customers. I felt so bad I accepted the grubby cup and spent the whole time wondering whose germs I'm sharing 🤮🤧

We had a really long wait for our drinks and had to clear ourselves a table as so many were dirty. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
