So gutted I don't have any photos but we've finished it all too quick! First time ordered a take out in a while and first time from here but it was a great choice. Food arrived on time, pipping hot and surely freshly made. Big portions, well presented and what most important DELICIOUS! We enjoyed it. Truly enjoyed it. The first time we ordered from here. We ordered the set meal for 2 for delivery. It was delivered within the hour amd all food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommend this take away and we will be returning. Thank you

I have eaten here for a few years and always first class but today the mushroom pakora was tasteless and undercooked, that went in the bin!

Waited 2 hours for food and workers were clearly too lazy to complete a simple order before scurrying out thr store and leaving my 3 children starving till 12:14AM the next day.

We had a take away few varieties presented well but the taste its the same no matter what meal you change. Lots of colours less taste.😬 hopefully they will improve in the future.🤷‍♂️

It really saddens me to write a bad review! BUT all I can say ordered food, was late, then the wrong ordered was delivered, was promised refund then told couldn’t do as manger was not in. Contacted them next day to be told I need to cover cost on the wrong order that was sent. When speaking to the manager to explain I was told to be quiet and listen, which I said you should listen to the customer first, and he said he knows what’s right. £75 wasted and young children left hungry. I don’t think they deserve business with the customer service they provide! AVOID!!!

We have just had a take away from Al-Madina, we live in Buckland Road. Maidstone. All of the dishes were really delicious, this has not been the case lately with other Indian restaurants sadly. Also the service was prompt and the delivery man was so nice. Thankyou very much. We will certainly be calling again. Julie

Great food great staff very quick service

Had a delivery via just eat. Turned up an hour late (despite being demarked as delivered on time to protect their revenue and prevent a discount). Wow. Like the bad old days in the 1980s. Sag Paneer cold and tasteless, as covered in pouring cream. The veg curry with the biryani watery and bland and the king prawn fishy smelling and dry as overcooked. Have had previous meals that were OK. Usual quality control probably away for the winter, but truly appalling experience. Really bad.

Best Indian around. Their tikka Korma and saag paneer is insane! Plus always seem to have 20% off on just eat or their website recently :)

Amazing food! This has been my regular since I moved to the area nearly 3 years ago. The madras and saag aloo are my go to along with a portion of meat samosas and vegetable samosas! The tandoori chicken is also a regular too. Thanks Al Madina, keep up the good work 😊

If you enjoy great food at a decent price, then this is definitely the place for you. Meat is tender and full of flavour, crispy poppadoms and traditional naans to mop up the tasty sauce. A+++++ eats

Definitely the best food in the area and I order a couple of times a months and have done for a few years. Food is always tasty and very reasonably priced!! They look after their customers and if you haven’t been for a while they send you a letter checking in with a code - it’s nice to know someone misses me 🤣 Very accommodating with any requests I make. Very rarely a delay with delivery, but can’t be helped and to be expected on busy nights. Only one hiccup with an order in all this time and they handled it well and resolved - they are after all human! Would definitely recommend!

We recently ordered a takeaway. Food is great and customer service is equally as good. We ordered a lamb biriyani and daal, royal lamb curry dish and Bombay potatoes with rice and garlic naan. We would highly recommend and look forward to ordering again.

Great service. I asked for a pacific dish today Chasni tikka Balti that was not on the menu. The owner went into great detail about the flavour and took his sweater off and cooked it for me hisself and gave me a spoon to try. By far the best curry I have had! . Everything was cooked fresh in the in view kitchen. Chicken pakora was amazing and the keema nan had plenty of Keema meat. Will definitely be eating here again.

Use this restaurant regularly and it is always good, the best around I would say. It is consistent. Delivery is ok and they try their best to get it to you in the time agreed only once did they take over an hour. The portion sizes are good. I would recommend

Personally I believed this curry was one of the best around. The chicken has always been good quality and a good portion given. I use at least fortnighly and been using for about 6 months with no problems but the last 2 have been poor I.e cold after waiting 1hr 20 minutes and another was similar although delivered in good time. Given it costs £30 at least for a curry even 1 bad meal is unacceptable, and so my 5 star is now about 3.5.

Excellent food and very fast delivery for a Friday evening, was also given free popadoms.

AVOID!!!! I made my first order with these guys tonight and after waiting one hour the delivery driver calls and says he will be with me but the traffic is bad.. please wait, I agree and wait a further 30, 40 minutes, still nothing so I contact Deliveroo asking for a refund. They can’t offer me a refund because my food has left the restaurant 😂 at 22.28 two minutes before the restaurant closes they decided to try and deliver my food, this is literally two hours after I made my order!!!! no thanks I refused.

Bought a takeaway as a birthday treat and was so disappointed that the food was so very bland and watered down and cartons were just over half filled. I usually love my bhuna. Will not be ordering from here again.

Every time I order from Al-Madina, they do not disappoint! The food arrives piping hot and is always full of flavour. As a vegetarian, I find that veggie dishes from other takeaways can be below average, but here they are amazing! This has quickly become my favourite Indian takeaway!

Just ordered and received my food within 30 mins . Piping hot and delicious . I’ve ordered from Indian restaurants closer to home ,but keep returning to Al Marina as the food prices and delivery are far superior.

Consistently the best Indian takeaway in the area! Always great speedy service and incredible food. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the nearby area.

Food was ok, I pre ordered the food and it arrived 45mins later than time slot and needed putting in the microwave. I paid £26 for 2 curries, 2 rice and 3 namm, and got a free curry and popdoms which was nice but would have preferred on time and hot food. Not sure if I would use them again to be honest.

We have tried lots of takeaways in the area and this is by far the best we have found, such nice tender meat, Won't use anything else now.

Set meal for 6 . No idea what was coming as menu not shown . But extremely nice and good range of taste and heat . Obviously got enough for another 5 at least !

Very nice. Lamb was meltingly succulent and onion bajis definitely better than elsewhere. Will 100% use again. 25% off with delivery is nice too!!

A lovely meal again tonight. Looks like this place will be my go to. Ordered the tandoori chicken for starter, lamb biriyani, king prawn delight and a lamb curry to go with my biriyani. Quick delivery and delicious meal. looking forward to finishing off our meal tomorrow :)

Really disappointed. Popadoms was stale, the bombay aloo was spicy but no flavour, lamb curry; lamb was chewy, sauce if could it that was more like oily watery soup and was tasteless, bland no flavour. Chicken korma; chicken was chewy and hard. Pilau rice; might aswell ordered boiled rice because it had no flavour. Mango chutney tasted stale. All in all this is the worse indian i have had in a long time and was not worth the money at all.

Very happy with the food from this takeaway. I now usually order the lamb naga, take daal, lamb biriyani and tandoori chicken for myself and my husband. Special thanks to Ali, who is extremely helpful and has great customer service.

We’ve never had a bad meal from here. Other places over salt food or parts are burnt but Al Madina is the best in this area

Always good food from here and the only one I’m always coming back to, tasty and good sized portions, not sure why they have less than four stars to be honest?

Despite a few technical issues, the good was absolutely fantastic as usual. Never had a problem before and hope not to again.

My first & last ever experience of this restaurant. Placed my fairly small & easy Just Eat order at 5.10pm on a Thursday evening to avoid the busy rush . Despite being pretty local it took over an hour to arrive. The food was lacking in salt but did have plenty of other extras - hair in the bhindi bhaji & a long piece of thread in the prawn puri. Absolutely disgusting standards of hygiene & care. Never again. AVOID.

Love this place. Great portions, not too much oil, all the curries have individual tastes (well the ones we choose do!), delicious naans and it's a fantastic price too.

Placed order with just eat, delivery was no more than 20mins...Great right?! Wrong! The Chicken Madras was swimming in water and the chicken was stringy and chewy! My immediate though.....Microwave!! I've had Indian cuisine all over the country and this ranks with the worst. If you enjoy Indian, don't make the mistake of using this place!

We have ordered from here many times over the past couple of years but since lockdown this place has completely gone to pot. This is the 2nd time our order has been ridiculously late over the last few weeks. Over 2 hours late at the end of November and tonight it’s 3 hours late and counting!! ...apparently it’s on its way! The food is nice but the delivery time is shocking, hopefully it actually arrives tonight, I’ve been at work in A&E all day and this was our New Years treat :( I appreciate lockdown has increased the pressures but the phone is left off the hook when you try and contact them, if you eventually get through they pluck a delivery time out of thin air which of course comes and goes. Disappointing to say the least. We won’t be ordering from here again. Don’t ruin your evening by going here and then spending the next 2 hours chasing your food.

Used this takeaway for the very first time last night after a recommendation OMG the chicken butter was the best I have ever tasted fantastic food alround dont know about other dishes but would highly recommended butter chicken or chicken tikka spot on 👍

We regularly ordered from here but after the last meal I'm done with this place.. For starters food always arrives warm which is funny as we are 5 mins away and they always deliver early!... Constantly we have items missing but the final straw come when my daughter opened a bottle of coke we got with our meal poured me a glass... After a couple gulps it tasted absolutely vile completely flat with a very funny taste to it like it had been opened & someone took a swig lid back on left for decades?.. I knew it had been opened because she cant open a bottle unless i do it for her so just assumed she had done it herself... It's a shame because the food was good but feel the management & staff are forgetting the most important thing in business the customers satisfaction?... Time for a change..

Cold food, very watery meal went in bin. Tesco microwave meal would have better.

Have used these for over five years. Food seems to be good for a while then goes downhill. So we will use another takeaway then come back to these a few months later for another try. Tonight the food was okay but missing papadums and mint sauce which was no big deal. But about 90 minutes after the delivery they called us to say we hadn’t paid. We told them we paid the driver cash and a tip. They insisted we hadn’t and told us they were coming back to our house to get the money. At which point I lost it with and told them to come. Five minutes later they conveniently “found” the money in the drivers car. Either the restaurant or the driver was trying to have us over so needless to say I told them my thoughts and won’t be using them again. Their attitude on the phone was far from professional.

Decent local Indian - good food and good staff. Alan Gear knows how to look after his regulars. Be friendly and you may even get a bit more for your order.

Ordered for the first time tonight ... won't be ordering again. Food arrived promptly but chicken was luke warm and our breads had been forgotten. I rang and the breads were sent out but by the time they are arrived we'd finished the meal. The mint sauces were nice though.

We've ordered from here a number of times on and off over the past three years. Unfortunately the last two times including this evening, we will not be ordering again as the delivery was well past it "estimated" time and whilst my husbands food was just about warm enough to eat, mine was cold and very watery like the chicken had been frozen before cooking. Will be reverting back to the hassle of driving out to collect from murgal dynasty in. order to enjoy well cooked hot food.

I'm really disappointed, we have ordered from here plenty of times and the food has been great, but today the potato dishes were undercooked, the lamb bhuna was swimming in oil and the chicken korma looked like it had been reheated. I will probably give them another go but if the food comes through like that again we'll go else where

The food there is not to bad but the staff is useless and have a bad attitude (Alan gear). I personally think this business is bad at all. It is better then Maidstone business.

Best Indian meal have had in ages

First time we've ordered from here and the last.... the food took 2 hrs to get to us... was not value for money... the mushroom rice was swimming in water. Just all round horrendous

Always order from here. Love the food. Usually have king prawn dansak or lamb. Service good. Polite telephone manner. I even oven ordered from here when I was having chemotherapy. No other fast food allowed. Because we ordered every Friday I was allowed. They went out of their way to ensure food was fresh and always told me if the chef was even slightly ill, someone else would cook it.....thank you .... appreciate it Al Madina!

Have used a few times and food is usually nice, however after using Friday night I severely ill the whole of Saturday. We will not be using again.
