Great Christmas break here. Comfortable and lovely staff esp in breakfast room a mention for Joel and Cynthia, both went above and beyond at this very busy time of year.

A small but perfectly formed Premier, 5 minutes walk from the train station. Very easy to find, roughly 15 minutes drive from the M5 on good A roads. Check in was simple guided by friendly staff, even though they knew how many check ins they would have to deal with on the same day. Room was very clean, very quiet and all you'd expect. I stayed for two nights with no issues at all. Breakfasts were great and very welcome after two nights excitement at a local pub. Saturday morning was topped by Sunday when everything was available on request and piping hot. A special mention has to go to Joel in the kitchen. Polite, friendly, attentive and obviously took great pride in his work. I wouldn't hesitate in staying there again or recommending it to everyone.

An excellent 2 night stay for a gig Weekender. Only a 10 minute walk from the venue (Steam & Whistle), couldn't have been closer if we tried. No hotel stay is complete without breakfast, and it really did not disappoint. The staff were lovely especially Joel who made sure we had everything we needed. Thankyou!

It’s fine. Had parking. Inexpensive. Half an hours walk from anywhere you’d want to go in Cheltenham but good value if you just need to crash for a night and want a comfortable bed

Great location with big free car park. Saw the legendary Joel at breakfast. Fantastic setup and food. Everyone enjoyed the stay.

We stayed one night at.the hotel. The room was very good and comfortable but unfortunately the breakfast was very poor, i.e. inedible overcooked fried eggs and insipid unappetising bacon. The breakfast was definitely not worth the £10.99 per person.

Look just a great place to stay awesome people If you are a ACCOR member and want an alternative that means something in the UK, go for Premier Inn

Yes its a budget hotel but the room was very tired and drab looking. The bathroom needed a good clean and had stains on the skirting boards and black mould around the shower. Water pressure out of the tap was pathetic. That being said, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also OK.

Excellent value hotel close to the station and with a large free car park. The staff were really helpful, especially the friendly people on breakfast. The rooms are a bit tired, but large, clean and with all you need. Checkout time is later than most hotels which is helpful.

Not great now that TGI Fridays has closed down. Nowhere close by for a meal and a drink. WiFi extremely slow.

Great location near 2 petrol stations, and local to motorway network. Pleasant staff on the front desk. The room was big, airy and clean, shower was hot with 3 towels, soap dispenser by the sink and in the shower, and plenty of plugs. The only thing I was missing was a USB socket, but they may of had spare USB plugs at the desk. Aircon if needed and hot drink facillities.

Half decent hotel, accommodating helpful staff who agreed to help us and re-freeze our cool blocks for tomorrows outing at the RIAT Airshow, the room was quiet and functional, just what we needed. Now, what stands out was the breakfast we had the following morning, wow, fantastic, well cooked, well presented kitchen and staff, the chef who greeted us is worth his weight, do not let him go

Just had the best night's stay and sleep here 7th/8th June 2024. Great welcome and fast check in; a standard but very comfortable room (8 hrs sleep solid); lovely continental breakfast (extra but def worth it); and great staff and service - special shout out to the breakfast room staff who were particularly helpful and cheerful. Great for travellers being 5 mins walk from Cheltenham Spa Station & on the A40, but slightly out from the town centre. Thanks for a great stay y'all!

Visited many times, most recently: 01-03/03: have stayed in other rooms over the years but now I’m disabled we have the accessible rooms which are larger and have wet rooms for easy access. The beds are always comfortable and the accessible ones are even bigger I think. The hotel is quiet. The air conditioning didn’t work though. It’s annoying there are not many plug sockets and they’re so low on the floor for an accessible room- raise these! Also the remote control is never cleaned in a hotel- we always have a plastic bag to put it in and use! The other issue I have with this hotel are the lack of disabled parking spaces, they only have 4 and they’re always taken. There should be a space per accessible room for when disabled customers are staying. I have to use one of the two spaces owned by TGI Fridays and they’re at an angle and very small. Prices are not competitive these days- long gone are the £49 rooms.

A disappointing start arriving just after 2pm in the pouring rain to be told we couldn’t check in until 3, without paying an extra £10. We sat in the car for half an hour then were allowed in at 2.45. The heating didn’t work until we went back down to ask but then it was lovely and cosy! Plenty of hot water, nice powerful shower and a really lovely breakfast room with superb service from Joel (who cooks to order) including all kinds of eggs for the cooked breakfast and gorgeous porridge for the continental. There’s nowhere nearby for breakfast so eating in a good choice.

Huffkins Café and Tea Room – A Delightful Experience Every Time Huffkins Café and Tea Room never fails to impress. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. The cosy setting, charming décor, and friendly staff create the perfect environment for a relaxing break, whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or indulging in a full afternoon tea experience. The service is, as always, fantastic. The staff are attentive, polite, and always go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant visit. They are knowledgeable about the menu, happy to offer recommendations, and provide service with a genuine smile. It’s this consistency in hospitality that makes Huffkins stand out. The food is beautifully presented and just as delicious as it looks. Whether you opt for a light bite, a hearty meal, or one of their famous pastries, everything is prepared to perfection. The scones are a particular highlight—freshly baked, wonderfully fluffy, and served with generous portions of clotted cream and jam. Their sandwiches and cakes are equally delightful, making it an ideal spot for afternoon tea. Drinks are equally impressive, with a wide selection of teas, expertly brewed coffee, and refreshing cold beverages. Each drink is carefully prepared, ensuring the perfect balance of flavor and warmth. Thanks to Dom and his incredible team. Huffkins maintains its impeccable standards time and time again, delivering a consistently enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for a café with excellent food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Huffkins is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Room was a nice size but it could have been cleaner. The carpet and upholstery felt dirty and I was scratching myself in the bed and had bite marks. The towels were like sandpaper. The shower was excellent. I stayed 5 days, on the first night I was overcharged for a meal, I was told the till was closed but they would sort it in 2 days time. That never happened, was under £4 so was more the principal. The restaurant is basic microwave food and not much of a selection, plus they didn't have, rice, tomatoes, coke etc etc the list went on... breakfast was actually ok. Our server Dawn was lovely and friendly but please don't vacuum up when guests are trying to have breakfast, we couldn't hear ourselves think. The restaurant itself was dirty as was the cutlery, however I believe its due to be refurbished. It's also not open very often. On a positive note, the location was ideal...
