Bombay & Co Express (takeaway) in Cheltenham

This is excellent takeaway. The menu offer great rangeof option, Really friendly staff, super quick and very fast food. Prices are reasonable to.

I came to the restaurant more than once because it is halal. The tables are not always cleaned. When I come, there are leftover food and they are dirty!!😞

I ordered chicken Biriyani for takeaway . Staff gave me dine in, after that he gave me wrong package and my biriyani fall inside the box and he didn’t gave me spoon , how to eat without spoon I can’t understand this ? Biriyani is cold also !!!

Hygiene level is very poor! Gave me food in paper bags, food got ripped out the bags went all over, why not use proper takeaway containers? Also the biryani has no flavour to it and came without the sauce

Food is not freshly made. It was mostly stale reheated food. Smell was awful. I had to come home late and cook fresh food as the food we bought from here ended up in bin unfortunately

Stumbled across this little treasure while visiting Cheltenham today. Delicious street food at a reasonable price and matched by friendly service. Highly recommended

Bombay and Co express is awesome. I've been a customer for years now. There are always things a small restaurant can improve on which I will come to later but what's great?? 1/ food- they have a great range of fibre, Protein and Carb based meals. My go-to is the biryaan, but when being healthy go for the lovely meat, lower carbon wraps, and high fibre salad option. 2/ the service is great. They allow you to call them and place an order ready to collect very efficiently, or you can use any of the normal online options , and they also are happy to prepare according to taste. It's like being in India - "same again SIr?" 3/ I have travelled quite a bit, and in fact explored 5 continents- there's few places you can watch the world go by - Express is one of those! There's constant entertainment out of the window. 4/ service- its difficult to provide constant services and at the same high quality level, but over the years they have proved they are robust!! You promise to be what you are! Keep going. Improvements: Your strategy could improve -call me! No other improvements- robust delivery- DONT LOSE YOUR STAFF

Please avoid masala chai. The worst Tea I had so far.

Pani Puri was at its worst - the ingredients that you put inside the pani puri never had that before and it was named masala tea but it was from sachet.( not even had a sip) English tea would have been better if served. I will not visit there again. Rest of the good not bad

I ordered thru Deliveroo whilst staying over in Cheltenham and LOVED their food! Healthy, nutritious and very, very tasty! I can’t rate for Atomsphere of the restaurant as I didn’t visit but if their food is anything to go by, I would have given it a top rating, I’m sure! Please come and open a branch in Brighton!!! Highly recommend.

More like a take-out with a few cafe tables, fine for a quick light meal (they have a restaurant in the town centre). Something different if you don’t want a full-on standard curry with various smaller dishes ideal for a small meal or snack. Friendly staff.

Really lovely place - and a lifesaver when we've been out and about the town centre and need to refuel. The food is superb!

Fantastic food and awesome staff behaviour specially chef pardeep bhai and amit is very friendly and welcoming.

I tried the pani puri and it was stale , did not taste like pani puri at all. The restaurant atmosphere was awful. Before I left I noticed the box we were served ready made pani puris from was expired. Extremely disappointed.

Chicken and Chips & Channa Masala wow!

Indian chaat items were tasty and flavourful (assuming they were made from fresh ingredients). Sweets (Gulab jamun, Jalebi and Kaaju katli) were yummy too! Will definitely recommend Samosa chaat, Aloo paratha and Kaaju Katli!

Ordered delivery from Bombay and Co while on a business trip. Lovely food and generous portions. Please make sure to box the sev separately so it doesn't get soggy. Also - please double bag or seal the boxes a bit better as oil was spilling out the edge of the box.

Service was good and the masala chai was great. Had pau bhaji but it did not taste good.

Great value for lunch meal deals including lamb or chicken biryani, chips & drink. I ordered lamb biryani and masala chai. It’s a massive lunch I was very full after left some chips behind. Great flavour and the lamb was tasty and tender. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Best Indian food in Cheltenham. Always go on regular basis. Staff are very polite ,excellent and food is exceptional. Chicken kebab wrap, Aalu paratha, tandoori fries and chicken wings all packed full of fresh flavours and cooked just right. Highly recommend!!

Worst gulab jamun with poor food quality which stinks. Definitely will be notifying to council. Good luck 😉

This is one of the authentic, delicious, less spicy North Indian street food shops. My partner and I loved it. Recommeded.

The food arrived in just 20 mins and it was just beautiful. Fresh and super tasty. I have eaten in before and loved it, so I had high expectations, and they did not let me down. Delicious. Easily the best Indian food in town. It was a genius idea opening the "Express" version over the road from the restaurant. Very happy.

Stopped off for a bite to eat before we went back to hotel to get ready for our evening out at Cheltenham Town Hall. Order a Lamb kebab and Chicken kebab roll with Masala chips. Food came out nice and hot but a little bit spicy for me.

Been coming here on and off since it opened! It’s a great place for a quick takeaway… I might even argue one of the best in Cheltenham. They do a range of burgers and wraps and also a nice selection of Indian street food. They also sell Indian sweets, only place in Cheltenham that does (I think). If your at the pub across the road you can head over to order and pay then once the food is ready they’ll come deliver it to the bar. Fantastic service!

Best Indian takeaway we've had, been singapore, new zealand, Australia, Los Angeles, hong kong, Wales! Just good food. Best lamb dishes I've ever had. Real good.

Good Indian food. Only good place in Cheltenham to get Indian street food. In addition, you will find sweets and various other Indian snacks, pickles, etc. I have tried chhole bhature, Chaat, Vada pav which are good.

Just had the chicken kebab wrap again it was amazing the best wrap I’ve ever had . The lamb kebab wrap is also amazing and the Bombay vada pav if you like a bit of spice . Try this place you won’t be disappointed

This is an excellent takeaway. The menu offers a great range of options, the service is pleasant and quick, and the place itself is decorated brilliantly; it's a joy to visit! Don't waste time with a Deliveroo though, cycle there instead; plenty of cycle parking and the Frog and Fiddle is opposite... It's a ready-made night out! 👍

Nice authentic indian street food but a bit pricey

The Pav Bhaji here was probably better than many places back in India.

The food here just took me back home! It’s so fresh and flavours are fantastic! Was surprised to find Bread Pakora which isn’t quite a commercial snack here but it was delicious ! Everything I ordered was to the point. Masala chai, Bread pakora mix , Paneer roll , Vada pav , Samosa! Well done guys 👌🏽

Loved the food here, had dinner twice in two nights. The bread pakoras are the best I have had.

I just had a chickpea wrap, and some chilli bhaji and potato bhaji, and it was the best, freshest, tastiest Indian food I've had in a very long time. Absolutely delicious. I will be back for more

Such yummy food, and at a great price!

This is a very good option in general, but even more if you wanted to go to the Bombay and Co further up the street and didn't find tables there. This is their street food version of it and though they have a more limited menu, what they sell is the same as in the other restaurant. Very yummy and reasonably priced street food dishes and kind staff. We had dinner for 10 pounds each including dessert. They also made us a 10% discount which they have on these days as they're promoting their business.

Absolutely fabulous and authentic "street food"-was our first visit and won't be our last-we tried the lamb kebab roll and the chicken roll-wonderful and friendly attentive staff. Many thanks

Excellent shop for authentic indian sweets. Good service and hygiene. Only thing they need to add more different sweets then the regular one people can find from online. They need to make a difference with more tastes. All the best 👍

Finally a 'proper' Indian sweet shop south of Birmingham. This is like the wonderful Bombay and Co but in more of a cafe type format. Excellent for people who love their food but don't need to eat in. They have some authentic delicacies like Dhokla and Kachori's - perfect for those who want to get away from the standard 'British Indian' grub - Korma, Rogan Josh, 'Vindaloo....' which unfortunately Cheltenham was plagued with!
