I stayed here recently and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. I was helped massively by the night staff, a lovely Gentleman I believe his name was Shila and a woman called Izzy. They were both massively helpful, kind and welcoming. Not only did they give 10/10 service but they went above and beyond the call of action and made the stay especially special, thank you to all the staff and specifically those two wonderful people.

Just back from a night staying here and I have to give a big shout out to Mia on reception who went above and beyond. She sorted out a taxi for me and my daughter which she also paid for! Mia is absolutely lovely! We will return and I won't have forgotten your amazing act of kindness.

Amazing staff and service, particularly at the Beefeater. I was travelling with 2 young kids with many food allergies as well as Coeliacs Disease. The Beefeater staff, Karen, Claire, Jack and Debs, were so super helpful. They went through all the food options, showed me ingredients lists, explained how the food is prepared (to avoid cross contamination ). I was so touched and impressed by their support, knowledge and helpfulness. It really made our stay great. The items were still not suitable for one of my children so I was allowed to bring my own food in (gf cereal and coconut milk ). That took a load off my mind. Also I was told.that we could have asked for the hotel to keep our cooler bag/ice packs in a cool place for us overnight. I wasn't aware of this before, but it's really good to know. I would definitely recommend this hotel /Beefeater because of the high quality of service.

Conveniently located to continue your journey the following day. Small, clean rooms & polite, happy staff. However, the hotel is much too hot & although it says it has air conditioning, this is an ancient system that blows warm air in puffs. It needs updating so customers have a relaxed & happy stay.

Location ideal for my needs and purposes. Staff were extremely polite and professional with 1 lady in particular i would like to mention who was very welcomming which was Deborah. There was a second lady whom i met on both Saturday and Sunday morning that i would also like to commend as she too was very welcomming and professional in what she did. I would have no hesitation in staying there again. The food was exemplary with a wide variety of choice on the menu. The room was perfect and could have slept 4. All in all i had an enjoyable experience whilst staying there and i would do so again. Keep up the good work.

Awful place to stay, almost no parking if you come later (after 5pm), rooms not that clean and I mean dirty carpet and bad looking bed made. Comfort is 0, mattress and pillow very hard and thick, no option for a smaller pillow or soft. In the toilet you have only hand soap and shower gel, no shampoo. I`ve paid 150£ per night x 3 nights, 450 at the moment of booking, probably because was full. Massive noise from next bedroom who slept with shower fan on. In the room you can find some coffe , tea, milk and sugar, no bottle of water even 500ml for the price of 150£ per night and location is outside Bristol, have to drive half hour to city centre. Single 5 start rate is for the ladies from reception who did their best.

Very convenient for the Euro 2024 fan park and a decent pub next door. Loads of parking, staff lovely and rooms clean. Recommended

Unbearable hot. No air conditioning and so 26 degrees or more at all times. Very poor for such a high cost. No chance of a good night's sleep or a pleasant stay. So much for Premier Inn's good night guarantee.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Very close to the science park opposite. Rooms in the week rocket up to £189. That's £100 over price for a tiered out hotel room with no air conditioning. And the Beefeater next door will be going soon too.

It was fine, my main criteria for selection of this hotel was the large free car park, on site restaurant and closeness to Bristol. Biggest negative was the price, at £175 for a night with breakfast I will certainly look for an alternative next time.

Every thing is what you expect, the walls are thin and you can hear everyone walking past as the floors creek. The ceiling is thin too so you can hear people doing what ever there doing at 3am like I did. Didn't really have a good night sleep and I actually stood on the bed to bang on the ceiling to tell who ever it was on top of bedroom number 5 to stop flipping moving around at 3am as I had already put up with it for 30mins prior to me doing what I did. I had a very slow water pressure from my bathroom sink and found that odd. Overall experience wasn't to good and I don't the staff really care about what's going on as they know it's people who are flying by for quick visits.

Nice dirty cups in the room !!!! Can only imagine the rest of the room as had the same detail. Spoken to my work to hopefully not use premier inn again……. The bathroom has mould everywhere

Always wonder why the accessible rooms are so far from the entrance, and why the 'wardrobe' is placed at the narrowest part of the room. Could do with a repaint in some places. My room had one of a set of 3 pictures missing and one of 3 coat hooks missing, but adequate fir a 1 night stay.

So like everyone else my only complaint is why do you have to empty a whole bottle of salt on my fries?! How hard is it to leave the fries plain and let people put their own amount of salt. Whilst i was there today i seen people from 2 different tables go up and complain about the saltyness on the flippin fries. Just stop doiing it!

I visited this bar to eat with friends and did everything you are advised to do by a discount card I have and was abused by a senior member of staff in front of friends. Gross bad management. I will never set foot in this place again and would not recommend this establishment!

There are, arguably, two reasons to visit Downend. One is on a summer’s afternoon to watch Downend CC play cricket with the bar in full swing and plenty of boundaries being scored as the ground is relatively small; the other is to pay a visit to Melanie’s Kitchen. This delicatessen shop is a positive cornucopia of cheeses, bakery items, biscuits, chutneys, artisan breads etc etc. The man who serves at the cheese counter (who I assume is not Melanie!) is a fountain of knowledge on local cheeses and knows all of the local cheese producers, when their cheeses are at their best and is happy to provide advice to ensure that you will leave well satisfied having enjoyed a sensory and culinary experience second to none. It’s full marks from me.

Came here by chance when the other Indian restaurant we had booked messed up our booking. Warm welcome in nice, modern decor. Menu was full of quite authentic Indian dishes which the staff were really helpful giving their advice. There are the usual curry classics too. Had the lamb curry which was divine & other family members had a variety of dishes which they all loved. One of the best curries I’ve had outside of India, it was that good! This place is a real gem! Patchway is very lucky to have this wonderful restaurant.
