I have unfortunately had a very negative Premier Inn experience at this branch and now with Customer Service. Has tarnished my view of PI and have cancelled a hotel trip at the end of the month as a result. I am now almost 3 weeks on still battling with Guest Relations to have my £10.00 refunded despite numerous emails and having been told I was being given the refund by the receptionist on the day.

Terrible experience. Broken toilet seat on arrival for 3 night stay. Reported it ‐'sorted' evening of the next day. Broke 3 hrs later. Extractor fan in bathroom temperamental, leaving bathroom walls running with water. Staff seemed apathetic. Restaurant: restricted food, not told on booking meal. Not up to expectations for this company.

Nov 24: Filters on the food for extra sexiness. Someone once told me; always blur the salad, NEVER blur the meat, greatest advice I ever received on my passage to becoming a level 7 Google reviewer. Great advice if you work in the adult movie industry too. Feb 24: 8oz Sirloin Steak was Tina Turner when on a boat, Updated Feb 8th: Pleasant change in activity and as such more people eating/drinking. All the staff are lovely but promote Ieva immediately! Passionate about her Job and as such the glue between the mesh. 8oz Sirloin Steak was BANGING good!!! Hats off to the chef! ----------‐-----‐----‐-----‐---------‐-- Beautiful location, Nice and clean, Plenty of cheap parking nearby, Good food just a little slow to get out when compared to other PIs, All the staff are lovely, management is shockingly poor in terms of getting stuck in and helping the waitresses out (1in-allin) Front office is used to hideaway until absolute necessary often stressing out waitresses unnecessarily. I've witnessed some of the management jobs passed down when it's quiet too while they sit on their phones. I think this would be a much busier PI if it were led better across the board and had a nice atmosphere.

Well located for central Banbury with nice views over the canal. Rooms are exactly what you’d expect from a premier inn, clean, comfortable and quiet. We found breakfast was the usual high standard but might have benefitted from an extra cook to speed up service. Banbury is a lovely small town with good rail links to Oxford. There is no parking but the quayside is very reasonably priced and next door so not a problem.

Booked on line for payment on arrival. Arrived a little earlier than 3pm and enquired if the room was ready to drop bags and continue christmas shopping without having to pop back but were told the room was ready but it would cost an extra £10. We decided to go back 45mins later at 3pm check in time. When we tried to pay £59 with cash it was refused because we didn't have photo ID. I've since checked and you have to do quite a lot of reading to find that detail in their terms and conditions. Perhaps making the point more clearly visible may help. Lastly, while the room was clean we were left no towels at all. Just a bath mat !!!!!!! I have stayed in many Premier Inns but this was definitely not one I would recommend. Shame.

We have stayed in a lot of places that have been more expensive than premiere Inn, but my father has always been an advocate for Premiere Inn. I was very pleased with the check in, how clean and tidy the rooms are, all the mod coms and also the breakfast that we could have unlimited. Meaning that we went to the Parkrun (5 mins away) and came back to have seconds. Definitely going to stay in another PI.

Room was much as you’d expect of a PI but so hot and the thermostat was locked. We parked quite a long way away as we needed 25 hour parking

Comfy Premier Inn. Canal boats moored outside add a further charm. Very good customer service when I stayed here.

Excellent 2 night stay. Located right in the town next to a new shopping area & centre, my room (216) was overlooking the lovely canal. As usual with PI, beds super comfy, room very quiet, all clean & tidy. Staff at front desk were nice enough when I paid to check in early. There's a large multi storey car park right next to the hotel if needed. About 5 mins walk to train station. All the shops, pubs etc are within a very short distance away, as is the local theatre if in town for a show like I was. Paid £113 for my stay, so good value in today's market. Will use again.

There is no access to fresh air in the entire hotel, yes, the air conditioning and the thermostat are fully functional, but this is an inconvenience for me personally.

This is the new canalside recently opened one. No signage in car park as to how to get to hotel. Room not available until an hour after told check in was. Room was Premier plus which was lovely but sloppy housekeeping meant items missing e.g. towels, pillowcases. See opted for 8 am breakfast. Items missing every day including yoghurts, fruit salad and others. On last day no hot food available as "equipment for cooking " broken! Really???!! I also believe in the Easter Bunny! Would give this a miss, totally chaotic and cold food, when you can get it. Intend to return to using the one at the junction 10 off the motorway in future
