Toilets are absolutely disgusting!!!!!

My favourite coffee shop in Banbury. It's spacious and smells nice and the atmosphere is welcoming. Coffee is rich and aromatic, however it's sorta loud and you'd need noise cancelling headphones to work there. And they also don't care if you sit there however I love ordering something to drink there .

The staff are friendly and professional and the atmosphere is cool you can relax and enjoy your drinks & food in peace with easy access to WiFi

I had received an offer on two for one summer drinks and since it was a lovely sunny day, I decided to pop in. I spoke with a lovely lady named Honey, and asked if I could have one drink straight away to drink outside, and then come back for my second. She was very friendly and said yes. When I came back to the counter after my first drink, she remembered my order and had it ready for me with a smile. She is the reason for this review, her customer service and attention to detail was amazing and I really hope she receives the recognition she deserves! :)

Came here today as I get a free coffee with my health insurance, however the app clearly wasn't working properly and instead of making it awkward or a big deal, the woman serving simply said no problem sorted my drink and was done! I could tell she was having issues with it but used great customer service to make sure the customer ie me had no stress, aggro or potential anxiety with it and just fixed the issue. Very rare to have an experience this positive these days very good

A relaxed, happy atmosphere with great coffee and kind, friendly staff. Meet up with friends or just sit and read a good book.

Wow the rudest service. So many coffee shops in Banbury it’s surprising that Nero hire and keep staff that are so rude. Shame as it used to be a lovely coffee shop but now it’s dirty, empty and has the rudest red haired member of staff. Won’t be going there again!

They need to fix the door, I've seen disabled people and elderly people struggling to get in and out ! Just needs the self closer fitting they did have one before before the place was re fined about 3 weeks ago !!!!!

We walked up to the cafe but the outside area was filthy....fag butts and empty coffee cups all over the floor We changed our mind and went elsewhere.

Pretty good coffee but the tea wasn't so good. The mugs are too big for the tea bags so it tastes a bit flavourless. The place was a bit untidy and tables needed clearing.

Banbury is a awful cafe nero ,staff awful ,rude ,slow ,and come across not enjoying there job. Customer service is very poor .been coming a while here and never changes. Hygiene dirty, toilets disgusting and floors well what else can I say

An excellent selection of gluten free sandwich and cake with Vegan options also available. Welcome to find it open after other cafes had closed. Decor could be brighter but friendly staff compensate.

I absolutely adore my beloved Café Nero in Banbury. It holds a special place in my heart as the staff always greets me with warm smiles. Every beverage they serve is crafted with immense care and affection, like portions of pure love. Ok, lovely coffee and snacks. Lot of noise from coffee machines and music, so difficult to have quiet conversations.

I met with a friend today at about 11.30am, I was served by a blonde lady who practically threw my drink on the tray and walked away, then to my right I could see a young lady crouched down behind the counter by the coffee machines vaping! This is so disgusting, We will not be coming back.

Great coffee shared with friends

Short queue at 10:30 on a Thursday. Sat outside. The only issue was that their dishwasher was broken, so they were using paper cups for everything.

The chain is normally good but my last couple of experiences haven't been great. Today, the dishwasher is still not working after at least two weeks, so everything is in takeaway cups. My cortado was £2.95 for a paper cup with a teaspoon of coffee and a ton of milk in it, because the person who made it let half of it percolate down the outside of the cup. Will go elsewhere next time.

You can always rely on Nero. I was served this morning by a lively polite and friendly staff member and as always the coffee was great.

Usual, great Caffè Nero products, but only two of the barista were serving, the others were making up orders for home delivery. This led to big queues and a long wait, which wasn't so great. This was midmorning on a Saturday, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was like this most days.

Awful service. Was ignored initially by a young girl. Eventually got served by another. Then the ignorant one started swearing which I challenge and was told it’s her freedom of speech 🤪. After getting more rude comments I asked to speak to the manageress who tried to make excuses for her so I gave up. Reading the reviews I’m not the only one who’s had a bad experience there. Needless to say I won’t be back.

I've been going here for the past 11 years. Since the original manager has left, the service has gone down hill. My visit today was the funniest I have ever had whilst visiting any coffee shop. Ordered tea cakes and she only toasted the outside so in other words the inside was still raw. I went back up to tell her if she could toast the inside as well, her reply was "oh that's how I've always done it and no one has ever complained". Bearing in mind this is not the first time I have had tea cakes. Now just imagine if someone had asked for toast, would you be happy serving it with one side being toasted. I think not. The lack of common sense. I really think the staff should take time out and perhaps go on training programme to better the customer service as currently it's run by people who have no passion or pride in their work.

My go-to coffee shop in Banbury. Make very good coffee here. I drink coconut milk due to allergies and the way they make it here is great. Always busy, and sometimes your table needs a good clean. Generally I always get a seat so can't complain too much. Simple digital card scheme is good for free coffees.

I really like this place. Nice and spacious inside and some outdoor seating available. One lady (assuming the manager) always very happy early in the mornings so nice to walk into. The food isn't amazing in my opinion (just my opinion as my wife really likes it), but that's not the reason I visit.

Really needed coffee after a difficult morning in town. Went into Caffè Nero and found friendly, helpful staff and a place to quietly enjoy my coffee. Thank you Caffè Nero Banbury.

I think some staff need a little bit more training. The female I had served the wrong size I asked for, then a half shot of decaffeinated latted was super strong. Tasted like a double shot. However the senior member of staff was very helpful and exchanged what was required.

Rude staff I dealt with on the 28th December. She was swearing to customers infront to pickup his order and go. There was no sugar sachets or any sugar to put in our coffee.. tables not cleaned.. awful experience.. dust on sill next to me.

Service wasn't great, they had trouble hearing us and multiple people tried to take our order leading to more confusion. The tuna melt was delicious though.

Coffee very good, the staff very friendly...the pastry however is horrible. I had a slice of lemon cheese cake...it tasted like a piece of lard. That thing was....old...to say the least.

Nice coffee, service much quicker than Costa and much larger seating areas. They also play good music.

Love these places. Staff are always accomadating. Drinks always hot. My only one problem with this one is, very minor, but l think l walked in wrong door. Didn't notice till l got to till that there was another door directly in line to the one l had walked in with footprints stickers going in opposite way to where l had come in. If trying to suggest a one way system maybe a notice asking customers to use other door.It would be good for first time customers like me and also people who have their heads in the clouds, (again, people like me) like l say minor detail.

Love their SOYA latte. Also the loyalty points, so I know when I am going to get a free coffee. Very safe place to go.

Nice chilled out decor and comfy sofa's to sit on. Lots of variety of drinks on the menu. Currently lots of alcohol gel and taking details for contact tracing presently. Outside tables. Not sure how often tables were being cleaned though as didn't see any going on. I might have been too busy in conversation to notice though.
