Pound bakery are amazing but just eat is pure rubbish waited over 2 hours and nobody showed up to deliver my food !

Average quality products, prices not too low ..

Went into this store staff was kneeling on the counter looking very miserable. Went to the til to pay for the cottage pie I took off the shelf, which was all wet. So I ask if I could have a bag to put it in. Staff started to moan saying the bags out for hot food🙄 in the end she said I could have a bag but not suppose to have one🥱😴 I ain’t trying to hear any of that I’m paying customer. If you don’t want to get out bags for the defrosted items, then wipe them down simple. The one in Crewe and hanley service is a lot better. Need to train staff on people skills this staff has none at all.

I am providing 0 stars as I never received the goods and just eat stating they can’t give me a refund or compensation. It may say delivered but I never received the good. None of the above options is relevant as I never received it at all

Saying it was a 15 minute drive the food was still hot.. very pleased thank you

Chicken salad mayo baguette not great bread chewy , no taste

Sausage rolls didn't taste right. They clearly were not cooked properly. The pastry was undercooked, so it tasted sticky. The sausage was very pale and they weren't very warm. Cornflake cakes had that little chocolate on they barely held together and literally crumbled out the case and went everywhere. The little iced cakes were rock hard and dry as anything. Cookies didn't taste "freshly baked" pastys were okay though. Quite dissapointed to be honest

It hasn't arrived i think he has delivered to wrong flat. Not happy about it at all. What a waste of money.

The food is well over cooked. Like it was made yesterday and been standing out. Cold and inedable. Really disappointed. Waste of money.

I’ve just had 4 x sausage and egg muffins delivered apart from them being cold, on checking inside the muffin the sausage Pattie was raw. I’ve spoken to pound bakery shop to let them know and they didn’t seem to care, I will be contacting the local food safety department in due course

The food itself wasn't correct and was squashed. While the restaurant attempted substitution for an out of stock item, there were still other things incorrect. Driver was on time and polite.

Why would you pack hot food together with cold drinks? Only had a small order, and still, there were items missing.

Quality if sausage, bacon and egg butty was poor. Egg specifically was way overcooked and could not be eaten.

Delivered on time, food was as expected. One item was wrong, ordered sausage roll and wedges but got a 4th curried vegetable instead of a plain sausage roll and 3 curried vegetable rolls, but no biggie.

Poor quality ..ordered a 4pk of mince pies first one had no filling in at all

Sadly the breakfast sandwhich and muffin were stone cold and salty as the sea. Disappointed.

Awful, boxes on sides so leaked all over the paper bags . Half of the breakfast in the paper bag! Had to throw it away.

was shocked at rude service. Older woman with shortish white hair slamming around and slatting your order on the counter. Needs training on customer service.

The pizza was hard and burnt clearly an item that wouldn't have sold in the shop no flavor the the chicken pasty

Cheap but not the best quality. Most of the staff are miserable bar one or two. Don’t do hot drinks like most of the other Pound Bakery stores.

We were missing some of our order ! Only got the drinks and crisps for 2 meal deals, the main part of the meal deal was missing !

half of our food was missing because the driver didn’t pick up the bag and rather than get the driver to fix his own mistake, we were expected to go in and pick it up

Time lept changing amd food was cold when ot arrived asked for contact free delivery amd had to answer the door amd phone to the driver

The steak pasty had only got a tablespoon of filling at one end, the rest was empty

Order missing tuna and mayo baguette so very disappointed other baguettes were just OK but sausage rolls were nice

You don't expect Michelin star from pound bakery as its cheap and cheerful but the quality has always been there. Most of the food was ok/average but the £2.10 breakfast roll consisted of 1 small, rock hard sausage and half a rasher of solid bacon on a dry roll. It was a huge let down. I tried to send them a photo via their twitter account but it just links to a random bloke

Cold food when it should have been hot. Wrong items delivered and no response when emailed considering wrong item sent was a lower price than what I paid

The fresh cream in the eclairs was bad even though they were still in date. It was vile we couldn't eat them. They said when I rang up, that next time I order from there to say they owe me a pack of eclairs and they'd give them to us for free but I don't know if they actually will though- they didn't say they'd put a note on the system with my address or anything :/ the rest of the food was alright though, the baguettes are always nice from here.

All was good except for the custard and bavarian slices they looked like they had been thrown against a wall before they were chucked into the container.

He turned up with the wrong order I've now got know for so I want the money bk

Best bakery for value. Always hot (unlike greggs) and always good quality

Baguettes were rock solid and tasted awful. Sausage rolls and pigs in blankets were very nice. I dont know wtaf happened to the chocolate éclairs they were destroyed stuck to the bottom and melted cream. All the doughnuts were stale. I was missing chocolate doughnuts and missing cornflake cakes I am extremely dissapointed with the service today. It has really put me off from ordering again. Such a shame

Lovely hot, fresh food. The cheese on toast was delicious even though some of the cheese had stuck to the bag and I also enjoyed a freshly made chicken burger-never tried these things from here before but highly recommend.

If I'd known the hot food would come cold I would ordered sandwiches....

I am absolutely disgusted by the service in this bakery. The owner of this store needs to sack whoever the blonde staff member who was working the shift from around 11am to 12 today on the 30/03/22. I never usually review anything but I was so outraged that I felt the need to say something! She was so rude to me and my friend. The attitude in her tone of voice as well as facial expression made us feel completely unwelcome and uncomfortable. My friend (who was a paying customer) had asked politely for some tissues, to which the staff member replied “we don’t provide tissues” in a blunt and rude tone. There was STACKS of tissue right in front of us. She was blatantly rude about it, and we believe her tone of voice and attitude had racist undertones. I have never seen someone so stuck up, you work in poundbakery darling, you are not the queen of England. P.s even Dixie’s fried chicken provide tissue

Well I won't use this shop again the staff like others have mentioned disgrace had my hands full with a 2 year old autistic son in one hand push chair in the other plus the items in a basket so I at to juggle all that trying keep my son calm and prevent him lashing out and things in your shop to get told take the things out your basket place them on the counter to dumping my paid items on top with a bag to me then got to put them in a bag toss service toss staff toss shop

great service once again used poundbakery before and got great service.

Service an speed was awesome but the quality if pie I'd saddening traditional pasty didn't taste nice it was so so bland n the pastry chewy an soggy. Also had LARGE Chicken pasty which were smaller than regular size. Think you need rethink your food sizes or your prices or at least put the correct description

The staff here are very rude and not friendly. They look very miserable, need to focus on their people skills.

Ordered 13 items in total and every item was delivered all hot and fresh, I live at a tricky address too but the driver had no trouble getting here. Very impressed overall :)

Iteams missing no way to get refund from just eat and called pound bakery to have so-called manager scream and shout down the phone to me telling me that her team don’t make mistakes and just eat delivery driver must have stolen the items !!!! I had a call from a lovely lady to apologise that my order was incomplete, they added a couple if substitutes and something for goodwill, I did t except this especially as my order was last minute ....thank you for excellent customer service

Items were replaced would have preferred a phone call to advise if this as I don’t like the replacements so have wasted money

Ordered 4x bacon cheese turnovers only received 2 Ordered bacon and egg mega rolls and received baps Ordered 3x hash browns and only revived 1

Rude staff who changed their mind about what the price for my products were!

Staff was rude, food I brought for the children the bread was stale on more then one of the children’s meals. Would not recommend and will never go there again!!!

Very rude lady grey hair glasses lacks in friendliness get another job prefably in a prison instead of slatting pasties on counter pretend that customers are welcome leave attitude at home gritting teeth when dealing with rude people is hard please reconsider who you employ or train your staff in customer service
