Porto Fino in Richmond upon Thames

An intimate little restaurant with staff with big personalities who are there to have a fun time as well as serve some pretty decent pizza. I’ve walked past here a number of times and wondered what it’s like. I’m glad I took the time to come and find out.

Good food (I've had pizza, pasta and breakfast) at a fair price (especially nowadays). Great coffee (strong but smooth). Friendly staff. It's the only place I go to when in Richmond.

We always try to come here when we are in the area. It's such a small place but the food is amazing and all the staff we have met go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They will adapt the recipes if needed and this time recommended a half and half side of garlic bread and passata and pesto which complimented our pasta meals beautifully. Can't wait until we can visit again!

We had seen this place on a previous visit to Richmond but it was full. This time we booked ahead and we had a great meal. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a very long time. Our server Zsanett was excellent. Very efficient and very friendly. I really enjoyed my pepperoni pizza although the Gorgonzola could have been a bit more generous. I went to one of the big chain pizzerias tonight and was quickly reminded just how great my pizza last Saturday. I wish I lived closer to Pizzeria Portofino. Make sure you book, it is very cosy!

Despite being full they managed to find us a table. We needed to eat pre theatre so they offered to get our food out to us quickly. Served by Zsanett who was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. She even made very welcome suggestions. As only had limited time I had the Calzone which was one of the best I have ever tasted. The freshness of the preparation and ingredients really shone through. Generous portions with just the right amount of seasoning. We will definitely be returning. This restaurant is just like you find in out of the way places in Italy. Warm, welcoming, the sort of place where you pop in for a quick bite but end up staying for the evening with good food, good wine, attentive service and great company. We have been looking for a perfect Italian restaurant for a while now. Think we may have found it.

My little home from home. This place is literally my second home. A magical little place which has locals and almost a public light vibe. The food was AMAZING! We started off with garlic bread, and then we order different pizza toppings. My favorite one was the half Hawaiian, half portofino (see image). Special shout out to Jaime who was an incredible host! He was very polite, funny and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area!
