Wow! A little gem that's not far from the market. We had a good vibe from the start when Green Day was playing over the speaker. The atmosphere was wonderful with unique decor that matched the punk/rock vibe of the music. The service was prompt and friendly. Prices were really quite reasonable considering the location! The happy hour drink deals are particularly good. The food itself was wonderful. It came out hot and fresh after a short wait. The chips were cooked well. My partner had the ribs and they were cooked wonderfully, fall off the bone in a lovely light sauce. I had the pulled pork sandwich and WOW it was so juicy and flavourful! Highly recommend! Will return soon.

Chicken wings bbq really tasty. The same for the ribs, amazing. My kid enjoyed a lot the burger. Staff are polite and nice.

Great service, we had wings and burgers which were pretty good but not overly fancy. The mango habanero wings were hot but not lethal; buffalo very nice. House lager is good, the happy hour rum cocktail was solid too. Surprised it wasn't busier, I think it's better than a few years ago as Porky's

Went there with my girlfriend 2 days in a row for happy hour on a trip to London. Cocktails were only a fiver during this time and were really good for the price and I'm a bartender so I can be pretty picky, also had a house lager for £4 and it was pretty nice. Had spicy mango and habanero wings the first time and they were pretty spicy but such a good flavour. Second night they had a deal on Wednesday's £18 for a full rack of ribs and it was a good size, good flavour and fell right off the bone which I'm a fan of. I think her name was Alex that served us and she was lovely would highly recommend

WATCH OUT 🛑 Make sure you get a copy of the bill before you pay.‼️They would only read it out to us verbally before we paid and then we insisted on a copy of the bill and they had charged us for more than they said. The customer service was extremely poor. // After a long time wait the food wasn’t warm, when they brought it a second time it was warm and decent.

The food was honestly not up to par at all. £23 for a plate with ribs, pulled pork, coleslaw, chips. The ribs and chips were good, but everything else was pretty disappointing. And most of it was lukewarm as well.

Camden BBQ was just fine, the food was nice. The burger I had was tasty although it didn't come as a meal, you buy the burger and a portion of fries separately which I thought was a little cheeky, but it's London. Bacon cheese fries were... Okay, but the cheese was pretty tasteless which was disappointing. Service was quick and friendly, prices were okay based on London prices really. It could be described as 'much of a muchness', pretty standard, not fabulous not bad, just something alright to eat. Pay it a visit for sure.

The meal itself was a delightful experience, especially the pulled pork, which was outstandingly delicious. We were also introduced to cornbread, a new and enjoyable discovery, leaving us curious whether it was intended as a dessert or a side dish. The fries, while not particularly remarkable, were decent and rounded out our meal nicely. Overall, this dining experience was not just about good food and value for money, but also about the enjoyable atmosphere set by the cool music, making our time near Camden Market very satisfying.

Chicken and blue cheese burger too spicy, very difficult to finish… In addition, the missing dishes on the menu were indicated to us once we had made our choice. We hope that the kitchen does not reflect the state of the toilets…

The ribs and wings tasted like there’d been reheated multiple times, very dry tough meat. Then i’m pretty sure they made me violently ill. Not a great experience. I love BBQ, the meats were just super dry and overcooked. Staff were ace though.

It’s a great place ! I loved it but the food disappointed slightly. The chicken was a bit overcooked and dry. The ribs were okayish, we hope they’d fall off the bone be juicy but they were a bit charred on the edges. The drinks were my favorite. I loved the passion fruit martini. Overall good flavours and had a fun time. Just need the wings and ribs to be cooked better. Will probably visit again maybe 😊

Small but nice meat/burger/grill restaurant. What it lacked in size staff made up in engagement! Brilliant service, food was nice and affordable. We had regular burger, chicken strips and fries which were very nice!

The service was absolutely perfect. The food, just my God...are you there? I'm from France, they don't have any restaurant cards but I'll keep the address in mind for April when I come back! Ps: Thank you so much for the Music!

3/5 is perhaps a generous score but the buffalo wings were nice and I love a good buffalo wing. Happy hour was decent value for money by today's standards and the chips were good. Those are the positives. We had to ask for BBQ sauce at a BBQ restaurant after being offered ketchup or mayonnaise... baffling. Even then it tasted like McDonalds BBQ sauce. I've toured much of the deep south. Carolinians would have seen the red flags a mile off. The waitress incorrectly took our main order but it was rectified by another server when she brought our food. Beers had to be chased about 10 mins after ordering and were incorrectly plonked in front of us without identifying which was which. Given that it was the same waitress that took our order, we were a table of 2 and the restaurant was barely half full... That's pretty poor. 3 competent servers could have dealt with a full house but the staff here were either new to the job or just didn't want to be here. As for the food. The pulled pork didn't taste smoked. I saw no indication of smoke in the colour of the pork. There was no bark or variation in texture. It was just a plate of pork mush with a light BBQ flavour that tasted no different to the oven ready rubbish you can find at most supermarkets. The baby back ribs were slightly better as they'd clearly been through a smoker but not long enough as there were chunks of fat that hadn't rendered, therefore they were too tough and the seasoning on them was too sharp if they were aiming for a dry rib. I've had fantastic dry ribs in Memphis, these were miles off. London really lacks good American BBQ since some restaurants have closed and the likes of Bodeans quality has dropped. This place isn't a contender whether it's Camden BBQ or its previous iteration of Porkys. Give it a miss

We were walking through the camden market when we both decided to get something to eat. My wife didn't feel like eating at a stall so we started looking around and came across the Camden BBQ and what made the decision for us was the fact that they had seven nation army playing in the background. The food was delicious: it was one of the best pulled pork I ever had. My wife loved her Cheeseburger and the cheese fries with bacon were amazing! The atmosphere was great, with good music and decor. The staff was awesome! Very friendly and engaging, we just started chatting with them about Halloween, about the music, about photography. All in all, can't recommend the place enough! :D

Heerlijk gegeten, goede muziek, aardig personeel en leuk gezelschap. Heerlijk gegeten op een mooie plaats in Candem Town. De cheeseburger is zeker een aanrader. 2 verrukkelijke burgers met een mooie topping kaas. Alex (serveerster) was super aardig en snapte wat we wilden eten. Top Restaurant!

We arrived at a less busy time on a Wednesday. Loved the place, the choice of music, and the service was great, very friendly. We ordered a range from the menu, all choices were excellent, washed down with a local beer. We'll certainly be returning to Camden BBQ.

We stumbled across this restaurant today. Worth a visit as the food was delicious. We went further our of Camden Market so we could sit down for dinner. I had the pull pork sandwich with fries. My Auntie had half rack of ribs. Delicious! Reasonable price to. WiFi wasn't working. Staff were friendly.

The place is just amazing, so nice and cosy, we loved the wings and the cocktails, the staff is very welcoming and friendly, great value for money!

Every time we are going to Camden we have to come there to eat. Locations is great very close to the market,staff is very polite and professional. Usually I'm having the Alabama peach ice tea cocktail which is my favourite and i also recommend the pulled pork sandwich that is amazing. We love this place

Pretty good barbecue restaurant in Camden - I've been here twice, once a few years ago when it used to be called Porky's BBQ (the waitress informed me it has just been rebranded, not taken over or anything). The first time I had the ribs/pulled pork mix, and the second (today) just the full rack of ribs - worth noting the full rack is £18 on Wednesdays compared to £24 usually. And pretty nice overall, the ribs maybe a little dry at points, I remember the pulled pork being very good. Slightly expensive with the ribs if you want fries as they are not included, but burgers are a bit cheaper. Definitely worth a try overall id say!

Me and my brother were a walk in. The place was busy when we arrived but died down after about 20 minutes. Food took ages to arrive, the pulled pork was grisly and in a watery sauce. Mac n cheese bites were tasteless Would not recommend waiting for a nearly an hour for cold and bad tasting food . Only reason it’s got two is because They apologised and gave us a free drink.

Burger bun was rock hard. They eventually replaced it but the burger had the bite marks from my previous burger and no new fries. Disappointing.

Across from the market and away from the ridiculous Tiktok Food Queues *Grrrrr* We had burgers (& a cheeky afternoon G&T) but they were delish and the sweet potato fries were good n crispy. Ooooo not forgetting the straight out of the oven Brownie...that was delicious too (We shouldn't have shared after all Doh!) Customer Service on point. Owner/Manager lovely. Would defo recommend to a friend x

Excellent location for a good meal away from the hustle and bustle of Camden on a weekend... Food was good, song selection was on point and most importantly, kudos to Kevin and Maja for their excellent customer service which made it a lot more enjoyable experience.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting London with friends, it looked brilliant on the outside and we were excited. Inside was really nice and staff were attentive. Food came quickly however we were bitterly disappointed with the quailty. 3/4 were cold, and the burgers were tiny for the price. One of burger tops was stale, to the point of being hard and inedible. The flavour was really good but such a shame about the portion. It also didn't come with fries and when paying 10-15 pounds for a burger without chips.. pricy! Once we got our food we didn't have chance to inform staff about the problems as we were not table checked once. The atmosphere was nice and the decor was amazing. Such a shame a nice place being let down in such a big way. Won't be returning.

Can't recommend this place more. One of the best places, if not the best, in London to get a burger. Let the staff know how you want your burger. Variety of sauces to choose from, and different varieties of smoked wings. Friendly staff, welcoming.

'Porky's' in Camden is alive, rebranded and as fantastic as ever! After seeing Porky's shut just after the covid lockdowns, my husband and I were very happy to find it open anew as 'Camden BBQ', while serving the same delicious smoky food and quality drinks. This is our favourite spot to eat in Camden. The staff are amazing and make you feel really welcome and at home. The burgers remain one of the best we've tried in London, especially considering they are not too expensive. And the cocktails are prepared with love and to the highest standard. My picky husband declared this place serves the best old-fashioned he's ever tasted! All of that topped with a cosy atmosphere and some good old-school music. A great experience each time. Very much recommended!

This is the second time we have been here and didn't disappoint. Nico the Italian manager is passionate and professional. He was exceptionally attentive to the dietary needs of our Coeliac daughter which we really appreciated. Buffalo wings are one of the best i have had in London. Burgers are just the right size and the meat is definitely quality. I wasn't left bloated. Great tunes playing in the background, Nico has taste in music as well as food preparation. For me this is the go to place in London for authentic Burgers and smoked meat "appassionati"!. Keep up the good work amico....

Came here for last minute decision dinner. Let me say the front of house/ waiters were absolutely fantastic and these two stars are purely for them!! Ordered a classic chicken burger and and the chicken thigh was undercooked.. throughout so flagged this up and the staff were so lovely and agreed to make me another one and also took it off of the bill (which was very generous considering I was getting a new meal) to then receive the second one which was worse off then the first! I ate the chips and bun (which were great btw) and left the chicken. Again, the staff were so tentative and kind but defo not edible. Perhaps should take chicken off of menu and stick to the beef as my friends food looked amazing just a shame about mine.

Camden BBQ, previously known as Porkys, has simply the best smoked chicken wings ever, Onion rings, Mac and cheese “yum” The past few weeks I’ve been sampling various dishes and cocktails and honestly this is one of the best places to eat in Camden. As mentioned the (Buffalo Wings with their famous hot sauce and served with celery and a blue cheese dip is sensational) I also tried the Buffalo Chicken Burger Spicy buffalo sauce, jalapeños, and blue cheese. Free-range chicken thighs marinaded in butter milk and fried with spiced breadcrumbs, served in a bun with iceberg lettuce, tomato relish, wow delicious. I also took the opportunity to try the (Kung Pao wings, covered in asian spicy BBQ sauce, coriander and crispy onions) I don't know why thought I could eat so much but I also had the fully loaded fries, be careful if you don’t like Pork because it come with it but Alex made sure she warned me so my serving was without the pork. The serving was amazing and I could not finish it alone. All of those flavours excited my tastebuds, it was truly delicious. The atmosphere in this branch is so very camden, beautifully laid out and spacious with plenty of space between tables. You can sit outside as the whole front opens out into the street, or for more privacy you can sit in the back in the well lit outside area. The bar has a great range and the staff make amazing cocktails. The staff are great and very attentive and friendly so you fell well looked after. All in all I really enjoyed the food and will be back with friends. How to get there, if you come out of Camden Town underground, turn right and walk towards the market, walk over the bridge and keep going and its opposite the entrance under the railway bridge. Juicy and delicious burger and wings,the staff are very nice,the italian waiter was so friendly,we enjoyed everything

Initially this restaurant seemed nice, both a suitable atmosphere and chirpy staff. However, having ordered a pork sandwich with a side of fries I expected for the two to come together, which I don’t feel is an absurd thought to have! My fries ended up coming twenty minutes after the rest of my meal, by which time I had already finished the rest. Not only was the service terrible, the staff gave no choice to us when paying a service charge on top of the bill, which cost nearly £5. £5 more tip than they deserved. To top it off, I have been incredibly ill since having eaten here, most likely from poor/ insufficient preparation of the food. Instead of using your electronic handler for passing food to kitchen, I suggest placing your kitchen much closer to your waiters/ waitresses to allow for some slight communication at least. Incredible disappointment.

Well what can I say come out with the missus for a bite to eat on a Sunday and stumbled upon this gem of a place was greeted at the door with such a warm and kind welcoming our waiter (. ) made sure to observe that my partner is pregnant and made us very reassured that her food will be cooked well done food blew my mind massive bbq fan can’t fault a thing not a bad price too 👍🏻
