Poppyfields Tearoom in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

We absolutely loved it here. We had afternoon tea and we’ve recommended it to all our friends it was so good! Everything was home made and absolutely delicious. The place was so interesting as well! Can’t wait to return! Thank you so much.

Waste of time going! Horrible place. Rubbish food. Long wait for food verry slow service. Poor customer service will not be returning!

We popped in here with our dogs after seeing the seals. What a wonderful place and very dog friendly too - the dogs were able to have their own lunch of sausages in gravy! Lovely gift shop too.

We found Poppyfields after visiting the seals in Horsey. I instantly loved it- the war type feel and the decor was spot on. We only had a cake/ tea which was very nice and other people’s main meals looked great.

Popped in for a quick afternoon tea & were absolutely delighted we did. The imaginative decor is fantastic not at all what we expected & certainly makes this stand out from other tea rooms. The cakes are just to die for, absolutely yummy. So pleased we have found this wonderful place & we will visit again when we are back in the area.

Called in whilst on holiday in Norfolk last month. About 8 tables clean and tidy. Selection of cakes under cover and hygienic ally stored. We called in for morning coffee, tea and tea cakes. Thin, large, hot,spicy with lashings of butter to spread on. Yum. Adequate Small toilet with 2 doors to negotiate with liquid hand wash.

Very pleasant experience - quite small, Basic good home cooked food - but very clean and tidy - with lots to choose from. Would go back and try another day.

Totally on a spur of the moment thing we visited Poppyfields and had a wonderful time being served by a pleasant young man who did everything possible to accommodate us. Lovely sandwiches, cakes and very large pots of tea. Nothing too much trouble and very much appreciated since another local facility was unable to accommodate us, thank you

We spent a couple of hours here and nothing was too much trouble to the helpful young man serving. We were a group that wanted a few sandwiches, cakes and tea, he provided that and we provided our own laughter and fun for a great family get together. Thanks

Having been let down by a rival establishment, we decided to see if sandwiches and cake were possible. The young man that was put on the spot by 6 hungry customers excelled himself by being willing to provide all of our requests with a smile and we had a lovely time.Thank you.

Being customers of all eateries in the area, this cannot be beaten for brek. Fresh cooked food. More than enough served with a smile. Highly recommended. Far superior to anywhere nearby for quality and service. See you there if you know what's good for you. :-)

With an all day breakfast at only £4.95 as well as daily specials and the usual selection of sandwiches and cakes, no surprise that this cafe under new management is a winner. We will definitely be back
