Poppins in Havant

We call in with friends every few weeks and are always really delighted by the polite and swift service in this restaurant. The food is always nicely cooked, well presented and tasty. It’s always a pleasure to visit.

Been in twice. Had a full breakfast then a jacket potato with coleslaw and salad. (Different days) Both meals very generous, fresh and tasty. Cafe is absolutely spotless. A real find. Food arrived quickly, they have vegetarian options, great service and great prices. All in all a really good experience. Highly recommend.

Went for lunch with my daughter. Very friendly staff. Clean cafe. Table service. Excellent choice of menu. Very speedy service. We had a lovely meal. My daughter is a vegetarian and had lots of choice . The iced lattes were lovely. For me the only downside was the toilets. As far as I could work out there was a gents toilet and the other toilet was for ladies,the disabled and a baby changing room so there was a queue for this toilet as the disabled gentleman who had gone in before us was in there a while. I wonder if there is the possibility of having 3 toilets? A male,a female and a disabled? Other than that we had a really lovely meal and will visit again.

I went here today for lunch. Walking in I was greeted by smartly dressed waiters who were attentive. I ordered a cup of tea and cod and chips and the food arrived quickly. It was tasty and hot and very enjoyable. The salad was lovely and fresh. I would definitely like to come back here and have perhaps an omelette and salad. The menus are extensive with photos of the dishes. Thank you an enjoyable lunch!

We wanted an early breakfast before a long journey home . Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was freshly cooked and hot and ample servings . Seating I'd not especially comfortable and quite cramped but very clean and tidy . Good restroom facilities

First visit here . The staff are very friendly and the food was beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. I will definitely Poppin next time I'm in Havant

Me and my mum regularly go here, it's the best Poppins around, food is perfect, the staff are lovely and friendly and theres a great choice even though we always order the same!

This is a clean, tidy, place with friendly polite staff. Most of the day is busy but lunch can be very busy time. The food is maid to order, so you can sometimes wait a short wait for your food. (they do let you know if their is going to be a wait). The lay-out means if you are by the door you could get cold as people come and go.

Really polite and on the ball staff real pleasure.

I really like Poppins. Fabulous cooked vege breakfast. Gorgeous vege sausages, quite a treat, and lovely fried bread, also a fab treat!!

The staff are so friendly in here, each time you visit they remember you and what you like to eat, they always take time to talk to you and remember what you have told them on previous visit and ask you about it, the food is always hot and comes out quickly, the restaurant itself is very clean and hygienic. Would definitely recommend coming here.

My daughter & I are frequent customers to Poppins, Havant, mostly on a Saturday, but the most recent was made extra special for her, all thanks to the lovely staff.

I can't recommend this place enough Mario and the team are amazing friendly and kind people. The food is great. Specifically my brother came over from America to visit, he loved the treatment he got, which hillariously included a lollipop (My brother is 51 by the way) Every time we visit Poppins Havant we feel very welcome and he remembers what we want and our names and always asks after our family. I have attached a picture of the coffee he made me while I was sporting a moustache

Really lovely fresh food ,lovely staff ,clean and well priced

Was a nice find, have walked past many times, first time of trying and it was very nice. Airy and clean, tables and chairs are fasten to floor, could make it difficult for disabled people. Attentive staff. Lots of traditional dishes. Reasonably priced. I had a very good prawn salad, plenty on plate, very fresh and beautifully presented. £6.40. Would highly recommend trying here.

All-day breakfast (as you like it, more than happy to accommodate). Cheap and cheerful, old school cafe (not café!) atmosphere but clean and quick; a much needed massive fry-up with tea and OJ to soak up the weekend's excesses! Hit the spot 🎯

The best Cafe/Restaurant in Havant.. I’ve been coming here for ages & always have a big brekkie with extra Bacon & Black Coffee with extra sugar-the bacon here is so chunky & the ingredients they use for the brekkie taste Amazing everytime. They serve all the favs Like Fish/Chips,Gammon/Chips Burgers/Hot Dogs/Toasties/Sandwiches etc So if you want a decent cooked meal or fancy a cuppa/Coffee for a good old catch up with your friends/Family pay these guys a visit as unlike all the Poppins you have ever been in they run this like a Restaurant & the waiters even dress the part.. The staff are friendly-The Food is amazing-The Place is kept Clean what more could you ask for in a Town Centre location.. (Near Waitrose if it helps) ⭐️12 STARS OUT OF 10 ⭐️

Stopped in to escape a heavy downpour and was treated to a delicious full English, friendly staff and a lovely view from my window seat. Loved it.

You know exactly what you'll get here. No nasty surprises. Food usually good. I was there this week and the waiter was so kind to the very elderly customers. Was nice to see.

They have Most delicious meal, breakfast and drinks, specially fish and jacket potato with beans i love it.

A regular lunch spot for us. I love the baguettes, all well priced but most of all they offer great service. Such friendly and kind staff who take genuine pride in what they do. I recommend ☺️

Nice medium sized cafe selling a variety of good quality meals. Very reasonably priced. Easy access for wheelchairs but no parking as on main through road. Staff very attentive and polite. Highly recommended well worth a visit even if only for cake and coffee.

Had a good breakfast. Quick service. The only downside was £2.20 for a cup of tea. Will not be going back,will compare prices with other places,Mcdonald tea only £1.10 but they don't do a decent breakfast.

I ordered plaice and chips and wow the plaice was right size 7inch long 1/2 inch thick and total yummy unlike the Worthings 3ib x 1/4 Brillant service for a sunday. Popping are allways good and clean THANKS LADS

Great service and all cooked fresh while you wait.

Efficient service and a large menu of food items. Very noisy due to the many hard surfaces which the sound bounces off. Their fixed seats aren't very comfortable.

I love this cafe. Quaint, peaceful and supported by friendly, smiling, helpful staff. A wide-ranging menu from tea/coffee and a light snack through to full breakfast/lunch meals - very tasty 😁. Definitely value for money. The restaurant area and the toilets are kept spotlessly clean. It's my "go to" place when I'm in Havant - try it, you won't be disappointed.
