Advertises LPG on motorway and website, we called today and they have not sold LPG for a while, the tank has been removed. I asked why they hadn't changed the sign and was told "they" wouldn't do it.

I'm a hgv Driver and found myself having to park here last night ive been coming here since it opened but never stopped over night normally stopping for a break. Over 200 trucks park here every week night and there is nothing for drivers. I popped in whs to pay and then paid an extra £3 to get the £10 voucher. I then went to what I thought was the restaurant it was a pastry place. After a long day on the road I do not want a pasty I want a nice hot meal proper food. So off I went to macdonalds only to be told I can't use the voucher in there. I didn't want a Greggs so off back to my truck. This is suppose to be a truck stop but they don't cater for us truckers it seems like it's turned into a services for car drivers. It's just not good enough we want proper food bring back the truckers restaurant moto.

I suppose it would be ok if one could drive there at night but all those road closures around lymm are a nightmare for me trying to drop and swap my trailor with other truck drivers Everytime I go there for my work I end up getting an infringement of some sort because there is no where to park a 50ft truck and trailor because highways make it so difficult for anybody driving on m6 at night I think they have an obsession with closing roads and annoying people ???

This station is often used for coaches as a pick-up and drop-off point. Well I was going to pick-up my granddad after his week out, but instead I came to find that he'd fallen on the floor and paramedics were examining him. Unfortunately he'd had a fall, but the staff and medical professions were amazing in looking after him. I'm writing this because the phone number I was given doesn't work, so I can't ring up to say my granddad is now ok. But thank you for your care! We really appreciated it and I'm sorry I couldn't inform you over the phone. I hope you are doing well!! (sorry, I didn't catch the name of the lady ): )

Considering "Pops" used to be one of the best truck stops in the country it's sad to see what has become of it now. Since Moto took over the place has turned into just another RIP-off motorway services area. I have called in today out of necessity, the bar and grill has no hot food and Greggs is out of sausages. Thank goodness they had bacon or the choice would have been between cold whatever or Muckdonalds. I only hope that next time I have enough driving time left to get somewhere decent.

As a truck driver this has to be the worst truck stop in the country, the showers and toilets are freezing cold, the staff of which are not enough in the cafe are miserable, the food is awful with most of the menu unavailable, if their was a fawlty towers for truck stops this would be it, it’s no wonder there’s a shortage of truck drivers with dumps like this to stop at

Absolutely disgusting food. I’ve had to park up here a few times and every time I have food it’s served on a cold plate. You don’t have to be Einstein to know that the food is cold after 2 minutes. All the food runs out of stock. I was offered a chicken burger or chicken strips tonight. Chicken strips cold, chips cold and no vegetables or beans where offered to me. Never again. Absolutely shambollick.

WHS is never open through the night despite being advertised as 24 hour. 3 times left my wagon to go in there and each time closed. Rang the restaurant asking when it would be open and they had no idea.

Every time I visit I'm harassed by itinerant selling TVs from the back of their Van's AND the Police turn a blind eye. Will avoid from now on.

Mostly closed due to the old covids being about, however ironically it's open to all in terms of security...free parking if you are non UK...as parking is charged per 24hrs via ANPR...so stay 25hrs and it's £45!! Usually now has travellers in situ...flying about the truck park in cars at stupid speed... extremely dangerous and an accident waiting to happen....however... Moto staff are not interested and indeed dismissive. In all...it's not a service's as such just a glorified truckstop...thats not secure or open mostly.

Absolutely piss poor during covid.the very truckstop that is supposed to cater for drivers.thats a laugh.not one place for a driver to get a proper,hot sit down meal.a few crappy sausage rolls from gregs is about all you will get.cant even go into mcdonalds because it is drive thru only.doesnt really cater for a 44 ton truck now does it.us so called essential supply chain drivers are left with nothing.i shall vote with my feet and not return

I use these services quite often. Most of the staff are very friendly. I normally visit for a coffee and fuel at the onsite BP. Where as usual. The BP is like a hub for lust hungry married men after the ample breasted night staff. Especially Mark Triggle from Egertons recovery

Nice services with adequate amenities. Only thing that let it down was the smelly toilets. Water saving flush in cubicles noisy and pans could do with bleaching to hide the smell

Rude staff,when mentioned cold food and dirty restaurant. Avoid like the plague. Toilets looked like they were growing Ebola

We used to stop here many times in past years visiting relatives in Manchester. It was a convenient place, but I never did enjoy it. The times we had to stop for food we felt there was limited choice. We were traveling to Manchester and needed the facilities so stopped by last week. It seemed a very cold unwelcoming place. A lot of the loos were not in use, it did not smell too good either. There was a costa there, which we do like, but I had planned some visits in Manchester so decided to move on quickly.

This is a services of dreams!! I live locally but still use this amazing place on a regular basis. Macdonalds for breakfast, Greggs or M&S for lunch, quick haircut and a shower you really couldn’t ask for more LOL!! I have a disabled friend who we also bring along to use the fantastic disabled facilities and he loves the place!! I have stayed a couple of times in the onsite hotel just so I can make the most of the 24 hour bar! Don’t tell the Mrs but I sometimes sneak out for a strongbow or two when she’s asleep 🤫🤫🤫 Can’t recommend the place enough. Me and a few of the lads will be there this Friday if anyone fancies a Cider. #UPTHEPOPS!!

Ideal for quickly picking up something to eat on the move. Much to choose from, McDonald's/M&S/Greggs/Coffee shop. Usual services type setting. Busy/noisy/not too clean surroundings.

me and my drivers always used this stop. but after my drivers complained i thought i would try it again myself. what a disgrace, food terrible and the place dirty. this used to be a good stop but we will not be using it again. keep driving past

We stopped at Lymm Services for a much needed break, after driving through miles of roadworks on the M6. The main building was based around a small courtyard, with sheltered walkways around the edges and an open area in the centre. This area included a Greggs, M&S, Costa Coffee and a small restaurant.This place used to be known as Poplar 2000 and was seen mainly as a truck stop. It has undergone rebranding,which seems to have renamed it Warrington Lymm Services, and is being run by different people. Motorway Services Online have a more in depth explanation. It is located just off the M6/M56 Lymm Interchange.We opted for a Costa M&S combo. I had read that M&S now have vegan sandwiches and this seemed like a good time to give them a try. We got a Butternut Squash and Tabbouleh Wrap and a Roasted Veg Sandwich, both labelled as being vegan. We also got crisps and M&S Spiced Iced Buns.As we wanted decent coffee in china cups and a table and chairs, so we could sit down and eat, we went across the courtyard to Costa Coffee. We got a flat black for Tony and a soya cappuccino for me. The reason for not getting food in Costa is that we keep finding they have run low on vegan food by mid afternoon. Plus their main vegan option, a bean wrap, whilst pleasant, is under 300 calories and a so far a bit sparse when it comes to filling. We wanted something a bit more substantial after an afternoon of driving, with still more driving to do after this break.We had half the wrap each and half the sandwich each. They were both surprisingly bland. The Butternut Squash and Tabbouleh Wrap was supposed to include sumac dressing, houmous and a harissa wrap. All sorts of spices were listed in the ingredients. It should have been delicious, it was just bland. The Roasted Veg Sandwich, in addition to roasted vegetables, was supposed to contain something called chilli crush. Again the whole thing was bland. I was beginning to worry that all those miles of roadworks, and breathing in such a lot of exhaust fumes, had somehow dulled my tastebuds. Luckily we had also bought crisps to go with the sandwiches. These helped to perk up the meal, and reassure me that my tastebuds were still working. The sandwiches were still bland. I do not know if they had run short of spices in the sandwich factory that day, or if these sandwiches are always so tasteless. As a bland sandwich it was not unpleasant, the texture was fine and there was enough filling. It was just sadly lacking in flavour, especially given the description on the packaging.We had also got M&S Spiced Buns, which made a nice end to to the meal. We have had these buns before and they have become a firm favourite for us. They are lovely yeasted buns with plenty of fruit and a good layer of icing on top. We enjoyed the coffee and a comfortable place to sit down in Costa. Overall Lymm Services was a good place to have break. We were just disappointed in the sandwiches. If we go there again we will propbably opt for a Costa Greggs combo as that has been far more successful for us in the past.

Unclean, cheap, litter everywhere, litter all over the motorway junction, why can’t we have a decent services at Lymm like the west Westmoreland independent services at Tebay? Steer clear 🤬

These services are just of the motorway near M6 and M56. It’s also a truck stop. There’s the usual kind of eateries including a Greggs and there’s s barbers!

Could be a nice services However the gents were stomach turning when I visited today I spend a lot of time working in developing countries and I’ve had better road side experiences in the Indian sub-continent Shame

The Lymm Truck Stop is run by MOTO but not signposted as a full service area. We stopped there (junction of M6 and M56) and found everything needed including shops, M&S; food, Costa Coffee, McDs, a Motel and a Barbers Shop. I now have a regular haircut there as prices are very reasonable and service is quick with friendly staff.

Una encantadora señorita y chico sirve, amable y eficiente y servicial. 2 Inglés, después de un poco ordenados que esperar llegó caliente y perfectamente cocinado todo! No tenemos quejas en absoluto.

If you need to stop for refreshments this place has a few places to eat including McDonald's Costa and Greggs. Toilet facilities are awful though.

Stayed in the truck park no security at all ,fridges parking anywhere so no chance of a good night's sleep,this place must take thousands per night from truck drivers and not one security patrol ,technically there is one attendant in charge ,you find them,more chance of a lottery went in the so called restaurant at 9 o'clock to find 90percent of the menu off due to closing at 9.30 if they can't put it in a microwave or a deep fat fryer,you can't have it so don't get a 10 pound food voucher as the maximum you can spend is 6.99 so not good value for money,the male cook spent most of the time chatting up the female bar staff inbetween pinging the microwave including even the peas,so your better off going to McDonald's at least you know what your going to get and their staff are pleasant and are normally good at customer service .when I complained the bar staff laughed and said that's the way it is here! Either pay cook till 10pm or shut it at 9pm but don't serve 10 percent of the menu as the staff can't be bothered !

Mal diseñado, mal iluminada. A pie de aparcamiento cerrado al pasado wc en tiendas y establecimientos de catering frío noche oscura húmedos era desagradable y, francamente, una experiencia intimidante. La iluminación y la protección de elementos inexistentes. No WC en la tienda de la estación de gasolina, que es por lo menos iluminado y atendido. ¿Por qué no? Evitar.

There are some nice facilities in Lymm like M&S; and Greggs and they are reasonably priced . However I would not use the toilets after dark as they are a haunt for some unsavoury people and practices

The staff in the petrol station are always so nice, As are all the staff in all the various shops...

Stopping overnight here at this moto site just paid 30 pounds +for parking 1 pint and a burger meal this is no longer a truck stop it is for coaches the meal was average chips were cheap quality and why does every other outlet offer meal vouchers? Showers crap one driver lost his token in meter and security nonexistent has reputation for curtains being slashed I later found out definitely worth avoiding better options are heywood or formula Truckstops one good point staff are friendly and helpful

do eat in the pub/restaurant it's shocking, even the mash potato on the meal was powdered , the sausage were small an very cheap, at one time this was a good truck stop not now

The McDonald's here is the best in the UK, the staff are so good. It also has an Marks and Spencer food, Gregg's and newsagent with every publication possible ! An Ibis hotel , barber shop and petrol station among other stuff too numerous to mention :)

I had breakfast here Monday the 9th Feb 2015 at 7am; it was a full English and coffee. I was the only person in the restaurant.I found a long auburn hair in my food and pointed it out to the waitress, she said "oh right."I said "do pass my regards onto the chef."After I finished my breakfast, feeling sick to my stomach (with no offer of a refund or replacement meal) I asked if the waitress had informed the chef, she said she hadn't, so she summoned the chef. A 5'10"-ish slim built 50-ish year old woman with long flowing auburn hair, wearing a chefs hat and uniform. She lurched into the restaurant, offered no apology, her only response was "oh well, what do you want me to do about it?"Avoid this muppetry at all costs.............!!!!!!!
