Food is really good here. I tried large tenders and fried which were amazing. The service was good and ragini has been extremely helpful in bringing my orders, suggesting what to have for my meal etc. worth the hype😉

THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD AND THE CHICKEN WAS SO CRISPY AND TENDER. RAGINI WAS ALSO SO KIND AND GAVE US FREE ICE CREAM!

Update 2* went in on a Saturday, burger was spot on, service was not super quick but not slow considering it was a Saturday lunchtime. So the second visit was not a one off and I have updated the rating to reflect this. Update* finally got to visit when it wasn't a weekend and all I can say is it's so much better than the first time I visited. The weird oily taste was gone. The chicken was hot delicious and lived up to the hype. Although I would say Slim chickens sandwich is just as good but for different reasons. So either the teething problems are done or just don't visit if it's really busy. I was very excited about trying the new place as all I heard about was how great their chicken sandwich was. It was pretty average to be honest. Whilst the coating was crunchy and very tasty there was very little chicken and what was in there was cold and oily. The tenders we tried were warm but again the chicken was tasteless and oily despite its delicious coating. However it was super busy so I want to go back when it's quiet and see if that makes any difference at all.

Only giving this a two bc of the food. We couldn't hear our order number being called out due to the loud music & school kids screaming. After about 10 minutes we went to check if our order was ready & immediately apologised for not hearing it earlier. Not a clue what her name was but she gave us the dirtiest look possible & had the audacity to go 'only called your order number about 10 times' in the most rudest way. Some staff members definitely need training on basic manners.

I recently visited the newly opened Popeyes in town, having tried the brand before in Kuwait, where I had a positive experience. Naturally, I was curious to see if the quality remained consistent in this new location. Upon entering, I noticed a large digital ordering screen, which initially seemed like a convenient feature. However, after three unsuccessful attempts to place my order, even with assistance from one of the staff, I was redirected to the counter. While this was a minor inconvenience, the staff handled the situation well, maintaining their professionalism throughout. The menu itself is moderately priced, offering good value for the amount spent. Though the choices are somewhat limited, with each category containing only a single screen's worth of options, it simplifies the decision-making process. Despite the smaller selection, the menu covers the essentials of fast food dining. As for the ambience, it’s what one would expect from a fast food chain—not overly decorated, but comfortable enough. It doesn't particularly stand out from other fast food places, but it still provides a clean, pleasant environment for a casual meal. When it comes to the food, I was quite satisfied. The portion sizes were generous, and the quality lived up to my expectations. Due to the issues with the digital ordering system, I was given a complimentary coleslaw, which I had originally wanted as a side but was informed it didn't come with my order. A nice gesture from the counter staff—thank you for that! One unique feature I appreciated was the unlimited drink options, where you can customize your soda with different flavors such as orange, cola, and blackcurrant. This is something I haven’t seen at other fast food outlets and definitely earns top marks for innovation. The service was another highlight. The staff were calm, professional, and attentive, ensuring that tables were cleaned immediately after guests left, maintaining a high level of hygiene. The food was also served directly to the table, which is always a plus in fast food settings. Overall, my experience at Popeyes was positive. The food was tasty, the service was commendable, and the pricing made it a good value for money. While there were some minor hiccups with the ordering system, the team’s professionalism and the unique beverage options certainly made up for it.

Food was okay for a fast food restaurant. It is quite clear and obvious in store orders take significant longer to process, compared to deliveroo / Uber eats orders etc. Staff also complete tickets on the digital display and take longer to make your food. When done they just shout your order number, rather then using the technology that is in place....but they shout your order number because they've marked your order number completed ages ago on the digital display machine. Says a lot when fast food chains focus on delivery orders and priorities these over in store customers. This was obvious. I literally stood there and watched my order sit on one side, while other delivery orders were bagged and tapped straight away ready for driver to collect. Overall food is over priced for what you get and service is just awful.
