Don't ask the guy behind the counter (pretty sure he's the owner) to double bag your food. He will give you a long story how expensive the thin paper bags are and that he will only give 1 bag. I asked to put the naan in 2 bags, as I was travelling back by train and had to put it in the one largish carrier bag I had with me with my other shopping bits and pieces. As it turns out, the oil and grease from the toppings did leak out into the bag and other items. He claims the bags are expensive. There were like 90+ paper bags on the counter top. He obviously mistook me for someone who is fooled easily. This is a hidden gem in Leicester city centre. It might look a bit run down and lacking the flash signage of a big chain takeway, but the food is top notch and superb value. The naan bread is do nice and prepared really quickly in front of you. We had 3 garlic naans for £1 and they are so nice and not to mention incredible value. I also had a keema naan which was awesome. You can also have a choice of sauces and it is wrapped up to make it easy to eat on the move. It's great to find a food place that sells fresh, tasty and filling food that is such good value. I can see that some people would be deterred by the basic decor and frontage, but get beyond that and you will be rewarded!

Just went to this place to get fresh naan and there are 5 people waiting in the shop not keeping 2 meters apart but even worse not one of them wearing a mask and I said to the owner you can't allow this to happen and he just shrugged his shoulders. Great naans made fresh for a great price! I get 3 garlic naans for £1..I don't even order over the phone anymkre they make them so quick, just order when you get there you won't be waiting for long. The naans are great value but not the best I've had, some restaurants definitely make them better but charge £2.50 each! So overall highly recommended.

The naan is great and love the small of fresh bread baked in front of you. The price is great too; one pound for 4 Naan. The reason I gave it a three is hygiene. Staff were not wearing masks at all. There were customers coming in without a mask and were not told to wear it in a lockdown. This is specially important in a place that fresh food is prepared and baked. Very disappointing, taking into account that most customers are from ethnic minority and all reports show Covid19 is higher among us. I would have given it a five if they were not so careless.

These guys are very friendly and offer a good and fast service. They have a large range of Naan bread that you can buy, cooked freshly in the clay oven or the specially built oven for some of the savoury Naan breads. The price is very reasonable and great value. You'll struggle to dins parking here although you can park outside place your order and get your Naan before the traffic warden comes. They only accept cash.
