Me and my colleagues came here for a couple beverages and was served by a lovely waitress called Maisie, Very polite, friendly and al rounded bubbly personality Thank you for the great service you are amazing !!!!

I ordered an Avocado & Scrambled Egg Bagel with Smoked Salmon and my husband ordered an Eggs Florentine. To drink we had two orange juices which were freshly squeezed and a generous size. The restaurant is spread over three floors and we were sat on the middle floor where the tables were packed very closely together. This did make us feel as though we were having lunch with the two couples either side of us. Our food took nearly 40 minutes to come which we thought was a very long wait for something that was a very quick simple order. We asked the waitress to check on our order and she said she would. When the food eventually came it wasn’t hot, it was as though it had been sitting on the side waiting to be served. My scrambled eggs were cold, bland and dry, but the smoked salmon and avocado was nice. When we paid the bill my husband told the man behind the till that we had waited a long time for our food and that we would like to remove the service charge for this reason. The man he spoke to wasn’t at all apologetic, he just blamed the long wait on the fact that the restaurant was split over 3 floors. He then began speaking in another language to his colleagues in what seemed like annoyance. It was an un friendly experience and sadly the food wasn’t worth the wait.

Got a takeaway vegan burger. Opened the box on the train and saw my burger was in a bagel! Absolutely ridiculous. Called the place and the lady said it’s because the bun is not vegan but the bagel is!!!!! Ludicrous explanation. Filling went everywhere and it tasted rubbish too. Avoid this place.

We loved the Polo Bar for decades, often recommending friends to go there as one of London’s hidden gems. However we had a bad experience there last time - we ordered a Welsh rarebit which turned up cold, the bread was burnt, the cheese was split and the additional crispy bacon was anything but. Very odd in face that was quite an accomplishment to get so much wrong at the same time

Amazing breakfast!!!!I have managed to impress my bosses and colleagues by ordering a massive b-fast for them this morning. The food was incredible, also everything packed so well. Many thanks team for the super food and super service too.

Food and drinks amazing experience and fair price but the service was awful. The Italian floor manager was really rude with us in several times. She served our drinks roughly, ignored us on purpose and talk to us rudely. Definitely I wouldn’t go back because of her.

Having had an early flight to Standsted, we arrived at Liverpool St station ready for a good breakfast and were we glad we walked the short distance to this gem of a place! A warm welcome, very friendly and efficient service, hearty and healthy quality food options with generous portions -we left satisfied, relaxed and ready for a day of excitement at Wimbledon!! Love the retro decor! I highly recommend Polo Bar!

I saw the food challenge on youtube and my kids wanted to try it but not as a challenge, just a cool thing to do with the family. I contacted them and they were really nice about it. We showed up, the kids didn't know what was coming and it was a great surprise. The burger tower was amazing an delicious. The staff was incredibly nice and I got a free beer. The pancake tower was super impressive and the cream was thick and tasty, clearly homemade chantilly ( trust me I know chantilly). We simply loved it. The staff was so kind, they offered us boxes because we couldn't finish the pancakes. I LOVED it and can't wait to go back. Polobar, if you read this, THANKS so much. Must of been an off day! Went for bottomless brunch with family, thinking it would be easier with costs- we were not shown to a table even though it was booked , handed non brunch menus, had to ask twice how the BB (bottomless brunch) worked. Were left sitting without food or drink for about 20 mins- then asked our food orders - still no drinks ( whole point of a BB!) waited another 5-10 mins - still no sign of a drink or waiting staff … we got up and left … sorry but it was a sad experience which left me embarrassed as I had booked fit my family.

We had a great brunch the wife and I. We absolutely love this place, it is so cosy and they prepare such lovely food in no time. My American breakfast was delicious and generous and my milkshake was great too. They got great cakes also" We will be back!

Couldn’t have picked a better spot to meet up for lunch in Fenchurch Street, we were a mixtures of ages from 80 to 8 and the team couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. Food was SO good, kids loved the huge burgers, Mac and cheese was divine. Birthday stack pancakes and birthday music made the lunch really special. All the kids have decided they want to celebrate their birthdays there and we’ll definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Very lovely place! Highly recommend the pancakes there, very thick and fluffy. We were warned by our incredibly waiter, Kitty, that this food will fill you up to the gills! THIS IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION! The food was so good and there was so much of it. My only wish is that we could turn down the volume of the music, all three floors are hooked onto the same system, so where its busy downstairs, no one can hear the music, and upstairs it's blaring! Thank you again to our incredible server, it was a lovely visit!

Poor quality of food, cleanliness almost non-existent. Raw egg white, pancakes nice to look at but not very cooked, the sausage was strange. Me and my friends were sick after.

Great place just across the road from Liverpool Street station. Looks a bit dodgy from outside but it is really nice and cosy inside. You sit in semi-secluded areas, and the card is extremely varied. We had fish&chips, Cajun chicken wrap and a vegan club. All was good. Only mines was that the wrap was served to the table 15 minutes before the other two dishes… such a shame as it makes you a bit annoyed… All in all a good place with fair prices.

Came here for a late dinner after the opera as it’s open 24 hours. Food was good and not too expensive for central London just under £20 pp inc service. I had the steak baguette with some cheesy chips, both of them were very tasty. Would defo return when next incredibly sleep deprived and needing food. Don’t be surprised to find the person on the table next to you fast asleep whilst still holding their burger.

Absolutely banging. Topped with toppings. Solid fish finger sandwich. Bacon and Brie sandwich was full of bacon and Brie. Filthy fries were as filthy as they come - bloody delicious.

Thought this was a good place to finish up on some work in the evening - gigantic mistake. After staying for a bit/ finished food (which was mediocre), ordered a drink, the staff started asking me whether I wanted anything else (which was fine) after the floor started getting busier. I said no, to which they said they needed the table - I then asked if they can seat me somewhere else and they replied that I can use a side table. A minute later they then kick me out, without any apology/excuse that they were getting really full so really needed that one seat. I obliged and lo and lo behold, the other floor was completely empty. At least have the decency to be somewhat understanding, would only recommend for a quick five min/30 min stay.

Brilliant breakfasts. I went for the mighty one and didn’t disappoint, Carol had the veggie which was also delicious. My sausages were so tasty and our bubble was delicious - peas added to it gave it an extra sweetness. A mound of bacon on my plate went down with ease and our eggs and toast were scrumptious. The generous portions of mushrooms were appreciated and the friendly server who praised me on my effort to clear my plate was lovely. Decor throughout really nice. A definite recommend.

I’d gone there for breakfast. I had the full English there before and was very impressed. I had the pancakes/bacon/maple syrup this time. It was a bit disappointing though. It’s a massive plateful. The pancakes just weren’t to my liking. They were too thick and sponge-like which made them difficult to eat. The bacon was delicious. There’s no doubt that the ingredients are great quality, it’s just I expect/prefer my pancakes to be smaller and lighter. The other disappointment was that the food was lukewarm at best. The service is consistently excellent and because of that I’ll have breakfast there again when in the area, I’ll go back to full English next time though.
