THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT EVER! Been going basically since it started (5 years ago) and been coming ever since! Lovely owners and staff and great food. Wide range of tapas meals and everything is delicious. Nice little place, not too busy and a really nice atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I've been here several times, but went most recently for breakfast on a Sunday. The breakfast was really nice and there is a lot of choice on the menu. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I realised that what I like most about this place is the atmosphere; it is calm and relaxed even when it's busy. You aren't rushed when you're eating and you can just relax and chat - and order more tea! Although there was a large table with 2 (or even 3) babies next to us and it was full, it wasn't noisy. It's a calm oasis in Swinley and I love that about it. I've been in the evening a few times and it's the same - no loud music, no people shouting at each other. It's my kind of place :)

Useless service .took 40 mins to take the order..asked for water with meal ...didn't come ...friend served with tea but no milk..I'm allergic to eggs so asked for extra sausage..they said was ok..served with no sausage at all...when pointed out , eventually came back with one sausage ...friends had two on theirs ..so the extra should have made three...pointed it out...another (only) one came brown one side ,uncooked the other side..had to send back for further cooking(I gave up on the other sausage)...farce By the time we were served our tea was either finished or cold....avoid at all costs (and quite expensive costs at that )

Me and my partner came for Valentine’s Day and it was lovely, portion sizes were huge I could barely finish it, the staff were relatively quick until around the end of our meal where the people around us were being served and empty plates taken but we were basically being flat out ignored, other than that everything was perfect

Terrific breakfast and service, highly recommended. We come here often - I only wish it was quieter but I think everybody knows about it now!

Very slow service for a small cafe. My 3 year old granddaughter was very good considering the length of time we waited for our food. I found it somewhat disorganised for a small cafe. I had hot chocolate, which wasn't very hot and toasted fruit loaf, which was very nice. We should have been properly advised if there was a wait time for food.

My wife and her friend visited the Crown last week for an afternoon tea and both loved their experience. This was a treat for me from my wife today as I am recovering from a heart attack. The manager warmly welcomed us and the waitress guided us to our table in the conservatory. We were delighted with our table placement in there and we dined in gorgeous March sunshine. The waitress, Ella, explained how the tea would unfold and was very attentive throughout. A tasty cupful of pea and ham soup made a tasty start. The sandwiches were sumptuous, tasty and well stocked. There was a mini sausage roll, small but in a lovely pastry, and a good selection of cakes and ample cream and all rounded off with scones. I treated myself to a pint of Neck Oil, my first beer since my op, what a treat All in all a super experience and we look forward to taking friends there for a full meal. Ken H.
