A small group of us and our pooches had coffee and some snacks on Saturday. The staff serving were fantastic, really friendly and funny, food was spot on even had an laugh about the name that our server asked for. Excellent place to visit and will defo be back.

First visit and probably won't be the last, lovely dog friendly cafe in pleasant surroundings, good range of drinks and food. My only concern was the time in receiving our order, then our order went to the wrong table, I appreciate the cafe being busy which is great, maybe number paddles on the table would be a help. However lovely friendly staff, would definitely return in the future

The welcome from the young server/cashier is always super! She remembers her customers and is so cheerful & efficient in her workplace. Rarity indeed! The food & drinks were good and the outdoor seating was lovely on this bright sunny Summers Day. It's one of my favourite cafes & will most definitely be returning soon.

What a fantastic little find in the park. Coffee is on point and fresh from the bean. The food, the food.. . Prepared perfectly with top quality ingredients and tastes as good as it looks. 💯

Best breakfast I've has in a long time.

Dropped in with my cycling group. A bit of a delay as so many of us arrived quit suddenly. A pleasant break and nice surroundings.

Great food, friendly staff and coffee from a proper coffee machine. Very relaxed environment sitting outside in the sunshine. Great place for a sunny day with the family. Burger was superb - home made and attention to detail. Toasties and bacon and egg rolls (called barms!) were good too. Keep up the great work team!

On my last few occasions here, I've noticed some new faces 🥰 I'd just like to praise each and every one of the staff here,new and old...polite,friendly,caring and they go above and beyond 💯👏...I met Daisy today, and what a beautiful ray of sunshine she was.... fabulous customer service skills from all....it makes a difference to someone's day, it really does. Lovely Cafe in the Park. We had crumpets and our grandson had Nutella Waffle. I had a great cappuccino as well. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Passionate staff who want to look after you, unlike another cafe down the road on the flash. Pennington Hall Park Cafe gives you great service with smiles, lovely lattes, fresh sandwiches and homebaked cakes all set in a relaxing well maintained park. A great place to grab a snack, relax, chat or stop off when out on a walk. The staff are volounteers as its a non profit set up supporting the local community. They have links with a gardening project in the park that supports kids groups and people that need social contact and general help from the local area. An all round feel good place to visit and relax at.

Food is amazing milkshakes, breakfasts, balms and cake all amazing. Food can take a while to come out but worth the wait but all respect to the people who work there they are amazing at it. A little treasure of leigh good cafe worth visiting(Try the milkshakes)

Romanian dog sitter , I discover this lovely little gem , for a brunch and a coffee in may 2023, since then nearly every friday , at least once a week i come for their amazing food , one of my fav been scones ( im not english) also apple crumble with custard, all fresh and home made , the most importand decent prices . Caffeina Cafe is a wonderful little cafe, it is so important to me where i rest and do part of my admin answer email and whats while im resting you can take your dogs inside ,great friendly staff ,the volunteers are wonderful and so caring, in particular, Shelley and Connor. The mosti mportant for some one who is alone no friend , best way to connect with community . Highly recommended this cafe, my happy spot

Had breakfast last wk...top notch, hot cooked well and was very pleased, my son mithered me to go back as he loved it and the next experience was not the same, cold food and cold sevice by the person that cooked it and served it, i cook myself and watching her she didnt want to be there, not friendly and plonked it on the table after a 40+minute wait......i requested a refund as both breakfasts were cold...and was given free coffee tokens but wont be returning, sad because i thought id found a good spot.

Good food service can be slow but it is only because of demand

I love this cafe, its clean, the staff are very nice, the breakfast is superb and really reasonably priced.

I was very disappointed with my trip to this cafe. Sitting inside was very noisy. There was constant clattering and the staff were shouting at one another across the cafe. It was not a relaxing atmosphere at all. Three of us ordered and 2 of the orders came out wrong! I had a bacon roll and although I don’t mind my bacon well cooked it was near on burnt and quite unpleasant. I have been here once before and had to leave because I couldn’t cope with the noise levels, but I had no option this time and had to stay. I wouldn’t choose to go there

Was busy and had to wait, but that's to be expected. Don't know why people complain about waiting for good food. Staff where friendly, food was delicious. Lovely surroundings, what's not to like?

Established local café, invaluable to the local park and community. Regular coffee and snack stop for many a tired walker or cyclist. Also a great meeting point or quieter place to camp-out with the laptop if your usual Costa is too noisy!! ;) Can’t recommend this place enough!

My second visit with in the week this time for breakfast 🍳 and coffees well worth it. Cakes are to die for…lovely surroundings nice atmosphere well worth a visit.

Went here for a quick drink. Fairly busy, they had an alternative to cows milk, which was great for me as I am intolerant to dairy.

Popped by on a very busy Sunday afternoon. We only had coffee as they had stopped taking food orders temporarily due to being so busy, but the food looked an smelled delicious. The coffee was good, its just a shame that ot took over 20 minutes to get served. I was impressed with thw community garden in the park where the aim is to grow fresh produce for the cafe, and the lady there was lovely. I will go back to try the food. I didn't want to give a low score, because the staff were trying very hard to deal with the large amount of custom, and everyone did seem very happy with their meals.

I stopped by there this morning on my bike heading back home to Liverpool, what a little jem, cappuccino was very nice ☕️👌🏻 staff friendly...I will definitely be back, and try the food...this place was a quality find 👌🏻

Long wait for cooked food, sausages burnt, scrambled egg over cooked

coffee hot and strong. Too long a wait for English breakfast. Regulars were given priority over us. Sausage burnt on 2 edges and only warm in middle, Egg and bacon slightly overcooked.

Very nice and comfortable place to spend time and something to eat for family

Bit disappointed- longed to visit for ages and today finally did. Now- though the sandwich was tasty , BLT - there wasn't much filling and the plate would have been more visually appetising with a bit of side salad. The Caffè frappe was a bit tasteless. Bit noisy inside but the tables outside were all taken. Still- really enjoyed our visit because the cafe and the park are just so lovely

This is a lovely little cafe in the park, the food looked great, we just had a quick drink sat outside though. The kids had milkshakes which were fab, they really enjoyed them and my coffee was hot, hot, hot 😁 EDIT: Extra star for reading my review :-) tbh I thought I had clicked 5 stars, so apologies and corrected now, thank you x

A Great Place, lovely Coffee, Cakes, Food, Ice Cream & the staff are excellent, even when under so much pressure on those sunny days. Only thing missing is alcohol licence to have a Nice Ice Cold Beer after walking the dog. Can't not recommend.

A really nice place where you can come and eat and is dog friendly so you can have a walk in the park and then come for food. My husband loves their bacon toasted sandwich. The only downside is service is a bit slow.

Great friendly 5-star service. Kindly agreed to a preorder before their normal opening time. The bacon butties were delicious and went down a treat with the clients we visited yesterday. Thanks again 👍🏼

A stunning little gem nesting right in the beating heart of Pennington Park. With Shelley and her team serving up fabulous beverages and tasty snacks, you can sit and chat or just relax, winter or summer and take in the beautiful surroundings and atmosphere. Great community spirit and a must to visit any time.

I have, never ever, seen Alexandre Park, look so busy, in all the years I've lived here in Leigh. Yes the caffeine café, was also busy, and yes I'm amazed, at all the attention, Alexandre Park got. Let's see if it lasts.

Friendly and accommodating when we arrived. Pity it took so long to serve us. Waited over half an hour just for two sausage/egg barms and a full breakfast. Bacon a bit hard and salty and said would give extra beans (as no tomatoes) but didn't. Not given serviettes and had to wait while they cleaned a knife to get one. Everything felt a bit haphazard and disorganised. Place itself a bit cramped and food cooked outside which may explain why my beans were cold. My boys really loved their barms so almost worth the wait.

The most welcoming place, a warm respite from the torrential rain for two walkers and a soggy dog. Sausage barms were top notch, as seemingly were the the soggy dog's sausages.

Lovely little cafe in Pennington Park. Staff are really friendly but a word of warning, don't expect quick service. Been a couple of times now and there always seems to be an issue with ordering. Either orders are wrong or go missing. Only thing that brings it down.

Lovely little cafe we liked to use it last year. Went yesterday to play on grass area near the band stand. ( not too busy ) called at the cafe for take away lunch and then ice creams for the children. Lady always goes above and beyond and great restrictions in place for covid at the moment. Can definitely recommend x

Passionate staff always happy to help. Very peaceful setting, especially in summer. They seem to always be ready to help support events that are put on in the park. Looking forward to going again and sampling the great cakes.

Great little place, I love the food and some days you can get bbq. Toilets on the side are OK. I always end up buying some thing when I'm at the park.

Only called in for a coffee but after seeing the food on show from other customers decided to have a breakfast was not disappointed what a lovely little cafe ran by friendly staff all for a very reasonable price me and my family will definitely be returning......5star

Lovely little cafe inside the beautiful Pennington Park in Leigh. Shelley and the staff welcome you with a smile, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Varied menu serving both hot and cold foods, and scrumptious cakes and pastries etc. The cafe is only small inside and everything is cooked to order, so you may have a little wait, but it’s well worth it. There is also outdoor seating for pleasant days, and a covered area also, but you are more than welcome inside even with your dog. A brilliant little cafe, run by locals and volunteers, excellent value for money.

Situated within the beautifully kept Pennington Park, Caffeina Cafe sits nestled amongst the flower beds and Cypress Trees, once you step foot inside you are greeted with the friendliest smile you can imagine, a quaint little cafe with just the right amount of seats and tables, your not crammed in nor do you feel isolated. Once in there is a whole array of things to eat including cakes, biscuits and hot foods , drinks are a plenty offering all kinds of coffees and teas which always come piping hot, none of this lukewarm nonsense, Shelley and her trusted team always engage you in conversation making you feel really at home. Normally they will ask you to take a seat and get comfortable whilst they prepare your order, bringing it to you when done, all in all well worth a visit to this wonderfully run local enterprise you will not be disappointed.
