Lovely food and a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff

Aroma Lounge restaurant , moss lane platt bridge , 4 of us Sunday night , could not fault it , food was excellent, taste and presentation was great , service from start to finish was as you want it , attentive to your needs but not in your face , definitely be going this one again in the near future .

Nice place for a breakfast and lovely latte friendly staff too...

The food here is always lovely especially the breakfast! The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and the cafe has a lovely and warm atmosphere.

Lovely little cafe in the middle of Whelley and a good stop if you're planning a walk into Haigh Hall or down the canel. They serve typical cafe and breakfast meals that are a little expensive but good quality and the place is clean, tidy and cosy. What really stood out for me is the custoner service and the extra steps taken for you, especially for take out orders. Beens in a seperate, sealed tub to avoid spillage. Strong foil at the bottom of the tray to keep your food warm, along with the usual foil outer wrapper. Drinks bagged seperately without being asked to. It's the littke things that make a big difference. Parking out front for about 12 cars but it can get super busy, so you may have to park along the side roads.

Placed my order at 10.11am and it only delivered 12.05pm (2 hours wait).

My order was missing things. I ordered a large breakfast and a small breakfast and they was both the same but I was charged for a big breakfast and only got a regular one.

Friendly staff but terrible food at a high cost. £4 odd for a sausage and egg butty that came with no egg and two tiny sausages in a small piece of bread. £5 odd for a chicken wrap that was obviously pre made and put in the microwave as it was red hot and soggy.

Great little cafe, we come here often, the food choice isnt great if you are vegitarian, which my daughter is, good food, and alwys clean and friendly

Not been for a while as shut during lockdown. Under new owners now I think but was s good as ever. Great for coffee and fry up. Friendly staff. Very relaxing place to stop before work. Hope it’s still open

Ordered the large breakfast and a veggie one. Both very tasty, hot and cane a bit earlier than quoted

Salad was wet and made bottom on panins soggy so could only eat half. Also doesn't state scones are fruit scones so they went in the bin too. Wouldnt bother again. Wasn't worth the price for how much food was thrown away.

I'm so glad this cafe is open again after 2 years closed under COVID. Maria is front of house has a big smile to greet you, Marco the chef came out after the breakfast was finished to check all ok and chat. I had the full English breakfast (a really full plate) with an americano coffee, food was fresh and well cooked, coffee was good and strong with the bill coming to £10, my opinion good value these days. Marco tells me he's open in the morning from 8am but can't get an electrician for a couple of months yet to do an illuminated sign for the cafe front.

Clean, simple menu. Overall nice place.

The drinks were good and reasonably priced. The waitress was patient with us & very helpful. For appetizer we ordered the alligator bites - which were pretty damn good. For entree, I ordered the filet mignon medium well & my friend had the special of the day. I forgot which fish but it had crab on top of it & he said it was really good. My steak was cooked to perfection. No complaints.

Loved this place excellent food, excellent service. Only place I've found where I can eat a lovely breakfast and still have a hot cup of coffee when I finish. They sell many different foods and wines try them out some time. I had a vegetarian breakfast which was excellent it was so good, I put it in the sat nav. to go again a few days later 🤓

First time visiting today and will definitely be back, hubby had the large breakfast and I had the small, the small was quite generous, lovely cappuccino, lovely little place and lovely staff

Stumbled across this cafe whilst in the area. Lovely little place, good coffee, good quick service and decent food. Atmosphere welcoming will definitely return. Just wish they did soya milk for my celiac wife who had water. Overall pleasant experience

Food okay, but very expensive for what you get. £2.50 for a small cup of coffee is quite rediculous in this type of establishment.

By far the best breakfast we have had in the area. Excellent produce and cooked to perfection. Wonderfully friendly owner and staff. We've been back twice since discovering this hidden gem.

Friendly good brekky what more can you ask for ? The other meals all look great as well it’s just that we meet our family there on sundays for brekky.

Found this cafe bar by chance and so glad i did. The staff are very welcoming and plesant. The menu was extensive with options for all. Great selection of coffee, wine and beers as well as the usual soft drinks etc. My panini was very tasty and if I'd had longer i would have had desert. Coffee was great. Very well made. This place wont be a secret for long. Cant wait till Iam next in the area.

Allways go here for a take out on a fri if you ring up its ready when you get there food is allways spot on and staff are nice

My partner visited today, Ordered a jacket potato with cheese, ham and salad, drove away as take it Was a take away and was very disappointed to find out NO HAM!!! On the jacket potato, £4.50 was quite expensive for just cheese & salad, although food was very nice, the place was very nice and clean inside too.

I have rode by this little gem several times but finally stepped over the threshold last week . Had an awsome breakfast ,served on warm plates by friendly staff Newspapers vailable and i will most definatly be going again .

Visited this establishment a few times and never been disappointed. Food is always first class, beautifully cooked and presented, and very generous portions. Staff are lovely and friendly. Evenings are great, a lovely atmosphere, great variety of drinks, just the right place for a catch up with friends over a bottle of wine and a dish of olives.
