Podium Place in West Berkshire

Absolutely fantastic pub set in such a beautiful location. We reserved a table but when we got there the outside seating area looked lovely with everyone sat in the sun. The staff were more than happy for us to move outside and we are glad we did. The food was outstanding! It's the best meal we have had in a long time. We are food snobs! We started with the Korean chicken starter, which was delicious. Spicy and tender. The roast was just amazing. The meat was tender, roast potatoes crispy, gravy silky and tasty and a not too crispy Yorkshire pudding. The veg they served for 3 people was a fantastic portion. We were all absolutely stuffed. My husband had the chicken burger and said it was out of this world! We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area next. Also super dog friendly and there was plenty of space for our dog to chill out

They have recently changed hands I believe - but the new owners did not disappoint. Give them a try.

Lovely food, attentive service. When you can’t decide between dishes they handle it for you! Trust their guidance. Next time it’s pizza to try! Btw photo is risotto and pasta dishes

Absolutely lovely Afternoon Tea box that was delivered to my door! What a wonderful treat and great service. Everything was so delicious and freshly made. Very professional and Colline is friendly and lovely! Highly recommended.

We tried seven different things and could not decide which was the nicest, they were all so good. Can’t think of a better way to spend a rainy Tuesday.
