Casa Mia Thatcham in West Berkshire

Food was great. Had the Pollo Della Casa and the sauce was very tasty. Started with bread and olives, the bread was wonderful.

Have been 4 times and always been very impressed. Friendly, good food, good value. Best to book, can be busy. I didn’t have the veggie options but they are available.

Nothing to fault about this place, I ordered the calzone which was baked to perfection, as you can see by the picture it was a generous portion too.

This is an excellent little restaurant ... we are so glad we found this place. Service, food, ambiance all excellent.

I was really impressed by the CasaMia restaurant... The atmosphere is very warm and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful... But the strong point of the place is the kitchen... Here I had the opportunity to eat typical food of the Italian tradition and it was an explosion of flavours.. A dessert to be enjoyed with a spoon was the final touch of a delicious dinner The fantastic Panna Cotta..i could ate just more and more... I highly recommend this place to all lovers of good food!"

Not the same since the takeover. This is our first time since the previous owners moved back to Italy. Cut to the point. We was served straight away and had drinks on the table promptly. I was shocked to see 2 solo half mushrooms on a plate for starter with a price tag of £9.95. The smallest starter I have ever received. Great taste but absolutely ridiculous size dish. Mains was nice but nothing special. Pasta came pipping hot which makes me feel it’s been microwaved. Drinks were over priced. We had a table for 8 (3 kids) and was shocked to have the server come over to the table and tell us children to stay in their seats. Disappointed to say the least.

Not just excellent pasta but an awesome steak too. Not to mention great attentive and friendly service. Will definitely be back!

It was very nice to go to an Italian restaurant with a different menu to all the chain restaurants. It includes some really interesting and tasty items on the Chef's specials board. The wine list was good as well, and the prices were fair, high enough for them to make a profit whilst serving quality ingredients but not a rip-off.

Lovely authentic Italian food, fairly priced great staff very welcoming. Table cloths and napkins. Unhurried and feels like a holiday

We used to come here a while back under the previous ownership. The food now is marginally less tasty than before, but still well prepared. And it's central location in Thatcham and the nice atmosphere are to it's advantage.

Takeaway was great . Quick service fabulous food the bruschetta was so good and the lasagne delicious … the restaurant looks gorgeous so will be coming back to dine in next time !

Me and my other half went here for the first time and it was amazing! Food was lovely, and staff were fab. Massive portions and tasty food. We went on a busy night which was loud but it hasn’t put us off, and shows it’s a good place to go! We will definitely be coming back!

We went there last night and the rack of lamb was fantastic. The people were lovely and the food was first class. I hope they are successful.

Good food reasonable price good service

First had food here a couple of weeks ago and had lamb from the specials and it was the best I’ve eaten. Last night was second visit. Busy and great atmosphere. Fab authentic food and portions, great service too. Will definitely be a regular.

Me my partner came here nice place I had some cocktails very nice a bit on the expensive side got spaghetti carbanara and spegatti bolonaise and lasagne to be onist u was disappointed that the carbanara was a bit dry amd lasagne and kids had them as well no kids menus so 12 pound ish for kids of 9 and 12 to much needs a kids menue 2 kids 2 adults spent 130 pounds they never touched much of it but payed adult prices so unless kids menus and not so dry was not over dry just go to alot Italian restaurants had better for alot less money

Authentic italian experience, perfect for dinning with friends and family.

Food is delicious and has a very good taste to it, pasta dishes they are very authentic Italian, I asked for my steak to be medium-rare and they know how to do it, pizza it’s perfect, not to big not to small, service very friendly, I will definitely recommend this place.

Blown away by the standard of food here. Even a simple dish was impeccable. Within my family we ordered seafood too which was very fresh and tasted lovely. Attached is a photo of the penne Arabiatta which was divine and quite spicy.

First time visiting and will definitely be coming back! The service was quick and friendly. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly cooked by high quality chefs. Portions were of a generous size as well! Would recommend a visit!

Opening night tonight (1st June) Amazingly friendly service, and the food was fantastic. Had Calamari to start and Veal Milanese for main. Quality of ingredients and cooking were both fantastic would highly recommend.
