In my opinion, this Turkish restaurant in Essex stands out as the finest among its peers. The culinary offerings are of exceptional quality, and the service provided is impeccable. The establishment itself exudes an ambiance that is deserving of a perfect rating. The individual who attended to our table demonstrated remarkable professionalism and graciousness. We had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday at this establishment, and they graciously accommodated us by presenting the cake, playing a Turkish birthday song, and the entire restaurant joined in the celebration with clapping and singing. This transformed the occasion into an unforgettable experience.

Food was nice and service was amazing, service charge added at 15 percent automatically... i took that off and gave it to the girl who served me and she seamed happy about that

Lovely experience, the whole family had a fantastic time. They do offer takeaway containers if you want to eat the rest of your food later at home, unfortunately we didn’t need them as the food was just too good to leave any leftovers. Decor was spontaneous with a gorgeous atmosphere. Staff were so helpful and kind, we plan to visit again soon.

We use ti go to Plush regularly and the food was delicious, and very popular every weekend is packed. However, when we went there last the pla e was empty, the food horrible and very disappointing. Obviously had a née chef. Won't be going back.

Food arrived warm well packaged and tasted very good. Will definitely buy again.

Went here as a group booking of 16 ,great reception received, food was well presented,timely and tasty all tastes and ages catered for from a 3 year old through to a 98 year old in our group . Good portion size and reasonable cost recommended

Let’s cut to the cash, waiter in white (I forgot to ask your name) you were a legend and the only reason this business is clearly still open, owner, pull your finger out your derrière and do something instead of sitting there. Food is good but slow to come and the absence of scones really disgraces the restraunts reputation if that’s anymore possible after the owners pathetic showing do better mate

We had the bottomless brunch; the food was amazing and the service impeccable. As soon as the bottle was empty they refilled and it was good quality Prosecco -fleixenet. They didn’t kick us out and gave us a free drink.

I tried chicken sish. Very good cocktails, (porn star martini) perfect atmosphere for birthday celebrations, they have vegan options and healthy food. Highly recommended

We had an excellent meal here with friends, food was amazing, served hot and very well presented. Highly recommend the Lamb ribs. Great atmosphere, polite staff and great decor. The menu accommodates everyone and has a great wine list. Definitely recommend this place.

Never eaten here before but can honestly say “I’ll be back!” Best food I’ve had in a street restaurant for a very long time ! Lovely decor, spotlessly clean and plenty to eat. The only reason i voted 4* for Atmosphere is because we were there at 6pm on Sunday evening! Thanks Plush compliments to a very good Chef x

Only scored low on atmosphere as we were the only ones dining at lunch time. The food is great even off the fixed menu which has plenty of choice. It deserves greater custom during the day

Food was delicious and priced well, apart from hair found in a food and lipstick on a new glass of wine. Would come back in, with hopes that service improves.

Wickford is lucky to have such a good turkish restaurant as Plush in the middle of the high street. This is a smart, warm, welcoming place to eat with friendly helpful staff offering a wide reasonably priced menu of brilliantly cooked, well presented and tasty turkish food. And the red and white house wines are brilliant and well priced. When it comes to sweets, I'd go there just for the baclava!

3 pieces of calamari for £6.20 is a bit steep don’t you think. Also on the menu it said with homemade tartare sauce, we didn’t even get any.

First time visiting! Great choice available on the menu, and friendly staff who helped us decide what to have. We opted for the hot meze sharing starter and then combi lamb kebab for main. Succulent meat, tasty cous cous and starter meze had a little bit of everything on. Would happily recommend, but more for special occasions than frequent as a tad on the expensive side.

Nice place, very pleasant and comfortable venue, not too over the top by any means. The staff were nice and friendly although a bit 'out of sync' with regards to who was looking after us and what we had ordered but that was all fine, they service was very quick and with no issues. The food was delightful especially the chicken livers so well done for that :) The cocktails were also very good. Definitely better back soon.

We were recommended to come here a our friends had been before. Our table was ready for us when we arrived so no hanging around. It was very busy and as most people were for the 8 o’clock sitting it was a bit noisy. The staff were very attentive and polite. We had an issues with one meal where my friend wanted the meat cooked a bit more and another was not happy with a bit that was a bit burnt. Nothing was too much trouble and both were immediately rectified. Otherwise the food was very good. Nice starters and plenty of it. Only one other thing my partner had her drink taken away before she finished it. We pointed this out and they immediately gave here another. Certainly worth a visit and would go again. Overall a nice evening out.

Very busy, quite loud, but the service and food were excellent. It is quite pricey but I would say it is worth it.

Please note the lunch menu is £13.50 and cocktails are £10.95 not as shown on website. We just took 11 ladies, for lunch and it made a big difference to our bill. I did speak to the manager but tbh he didn't seem to care. A gesture from him would of made a big difference to us maybe choosing to lunch there again.

Disappointing meal. Calamari starter was nice but main course of chicken shish was dry and bland. Just served with rice and cous cous. After a lapse of 20 mins after mains were served we were given 2 small salads between 10 of us and an apology that they weren't brought out with the main courses . Each salad was barely enough for 1 person! We complained and were just told that the chicken had to be thoroughly cooked? At £18 for the main course there are much better Turkish restaurants nearby in Rettendon at the same price point with impeccable service.

I have been here a few times now and have to say food is nice and decor is amazing. Service is also good, however sometimes few waiters there look unhappy.

I had a wonderful experience at Plush Turkish and Mediterranean Restaurant! They truly saved the day when our taxi to the train station was running late by 20 minutes. We were welcomed with open arms, allowing us to relax with a couple of delicious cocktails and some mouthwatering hummus. The staff provided us with incredibly friendly service, and they were so accommodating to our needs. It's moments like these that make a difference in one's day, and we are so grateful for their hospitality. Thank you, Plush Turkish and Mediterranean Restaurant, for turning a potentially bad day into a memorable and enjoyable one. We'll definitely be returning soon! Espresso Martini 10/10!

An unexpected surprise. Easy booking - changed table on day, they called me back to say OK. Food was excellent, lovely staff, lovely decor, fab wine/cocktail list. Would be lovely if they opened up part of it as a bar area as they had room - would be fab to spend even longer sitting having a drink beforehand. A really unexpected find in Wickford which is not really known for 'nice' restaurants. Will 100% visit again and have already told friends and family about it.

My wife ordered the lunch online. She ordered 50£ meal and large tonic water, but received a small one. They denied that it was an error and told that was the only option. Ok, you charged extra 1.5£, but lost your loyal customer. Good job, keep it up! Upd: You replied as you offered to deliver one more tonic water. I don’t know whom you talked to, but that didn’t happen. Your manager told us that the small tonic was the only option (although we ordered big one), and no refund/other option was offered. After this, I confirmed that’s no near 5 star. It’s much close to 0.

Recently been inside for a meal, was incredible! Have only had delivery service from here before but it was even better inside. Amazing service by the staff also, great atmosphere, excellent cocktails and wine.

Excellent fresh food, great atmosphere and venue, great service, and plenty of food for the price. We had the hot set-menu meze and a few cocktails. See pictured the ‘doggy bag’ we took home for our son and for tomorrow! Oh, and contrary to what I had heard, I thought they were very reasonable prices.

Will not be going back to plush after ordering hummus and needed pitta to eat it with and was charged £3 for a few Stripes and £11.50 service charge for lunch the manager was rude too had to ask for salt and to take order and food service very slow food was nice but small portion I've eaten in a few Turkish restaurants and had loads better

Loved the food in here. Lovely place to eat out in wickford. The monk fish is my favourite ever. Not overly priced. Good atmosphere the only downside to booking larger bookings is they won't let you pay family by family which is really annoying hence the knock down on stars on service. It makes splitting bills hard work especially when some people don't drink etc. So will avoid large parties maybe In future ? Shame as its lovely

Amazing restaurant! Great, modern interior, delicious food and excellent service. Perfect place for dinner with friends :) We organised my friend's birthday party there for over 20 people and everything was just perfect :) Can't wait to visit again!

The ambience is really great! Came here with a friend, seems like a nice place to go on a date with as well. Our waitress was also so accommodating of food allergies. Everything was great— amazing ambiance and food. Will be coming back!

Had lots of takeaways from here, so we knew the food was good. Service was also good, and drink prices were reasonable.

We visited on a Saturday night and it was very busy (which is great to see) but there was no where near enough staff and we had to grab a waiter for everything! The food there is amazing so really ashame that it's let down by service. The background music, is not background, it's so loud that you can't converse easily with people at your table. The decor is very nice too but we will definitely not be returning

Went as a couple for a date night, have lived in Wickford for years but never been here only ordered once for takeaway. Deff worth a trip, we went on a Friday night so there was music to keep you entertained. The staff are all so lovely! Food is fab, very generous portions! Cocktails and wine also amazing! Normal prices for this type of food ambience but worth every penny.

Best advice is to order for 2 if there are 4 of you. You will be taking home a doggy bag. And the food is amazing

Have been here 5 or 6 times now and always had fabulous service and food. Unfortunately last night was not the same. Took my cousin and her husband as we had been telling them how good it was only to be disappointed. There was a general lack of attentive service, we were not asked if we wanted more drinks at any point and the food was not up to the usual standard. Hopefully just a one off and the restaurant wasn't busy either.

Fantastic food and service, visited on Saturday evening and was made so welcome, staff very attentive and food fantastic, spoke to the owner who informed me that hopefully a extension on the entertainment license will be granted and live music to the wee hours will be soon available. Support this fantastic restaurant, it’s well worth a visit.

The worst… we got a takeaway last night and the lamb tasted of freshly lite Charcoal. It was an edible. I ordered a mixed kebab and a chicken kebab and it came to £36. The portion size are so small it’s really not worth it

Came here for lunch for our anniversary based on the reviews here. Lunch menu was good value. We had the spicy sausage and halloumi which were both nice. We ordered calamari off the main menu too which was some of the best I've had - lovely crispy batter and piping hot inside. We had chicken and lamb shish for mains and really enjoyed both. Even the salad it came with was tasty and seasoned well. Service was polite and prompt. Can't wait to return sometime!

My friend and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Plush today. We enjoyed a 2 course meal their lunch menu for just £11 and the portions were generous. The service was outstanding in a beautiful restaurant, we’ll be back! PS cocktails were AMAZING!
