Stopped in for a baguette and coffee,very quiet early afternoon

The full english large was very good there.

A lovely little café. Excellent, well prepared food. Basic, clean surroundings. Lets itself down by refusing to serve tap water with an ordered and paid for meal. Also the signage on the main street declares that it is open all the time! This is not the case

The food was really nice as were the staff.

Pleased to find this cafe for an early tea. When approached For our order, I asked for a glass of tap water, but this was refused. We never buy still bottled water unless we don't trust the tap water. We ordered chicken and chips, and a chicken salad. The chicken was so dry, it was difficult to get it off the bones and the salad was plentiful but all round the edge of the plate making it difficult to stop it falling off. An experience not to be repeated.

An excellent local cafe with such helpful and friendly owners. Real service and great food and prices. Helped us with a wheelchair user and made us very welcome. Highly recommended!!

Lovely little cafe, tucked away over the road from the station, near Tesco. Very friendly and helpful staff, they looked everywhere for some pickle for the hubby's sandwich but didn't have any and were very apologetic. All day breakfast and son's chicken burger were freshly cooked and really tasty.

My family and I came here for brunch, and we very much enjoyed our meal, the service was lovely and the food was cooked very nicely and the prices were rather decent. Had a browse of the lunch and dinner meals and they all sound yummy. Hopefully next time we can stop for a burger and a milkshake 😋

Just use takeaway which has always been great!

I was to have my breakfast here but owner wanted to charge me £2 money for charging my phone. Went elsewhere cos people next table complained about food so just could get worse. Coffee you pay extra.

We are camping in the area and decided to come in for breakfast on Wednesday. There is a variety of choices on the menu for breakfast, we chose a big full English and a normal sized breakfast, we shared with our son which he was delighted with. Overall one of the best breakfasts in Sheringham- you also get a sizeable coffee (well needed after a night camping with a 3 year old). We spoke to one of the locals in the cafe and the pizzas come highly recommended so we will definitely be back to try them! The owner was so friendly and clearly a huge reason why the cafe has been open for 15+ years

5 of us had a selection of breakfast food. All very tasty. The omelettes are delicious and all good value.

Stopped off for a quick snack for lunch. Ordered 2 rounds of sandwiches, tea & coffee..... drink were very nice ( strong tea & quality coffee). Sandwiches arrived a five mins later... yummy! Plenty of filling.. fresh bread. Good prices. Will use again, next time we're in the area. Thanks.

Excellent. 3 Large Breakfasts all flawless. Impeccably clean and well presented. Good Value at just over £10 per head with drinks and a few extras (tomatoes and black pudding). 100% will be coming back.

Lovely little seaside cafe, ideally located near a large car park and close to the North Norfolk Railway. This is well worth the visit, clean, efficient service and great food...

Very slow service, waiter came back twice to query order even though he had written the order down, took ages for food to arrive even though just a basic breakfast.

It's a brilliant place to have a quick coffee or delicious food...going there for many years... highly recommended

I only bought a mug of tea. I asked for an extra cup of hot water. I had back pain and wanted to sip it after medication as soothing. He wanted to charge me £1 for the water. I refused to pay and left it. I had just started my tea and was told I couldn’t sit there and they were closing in 10 minutes I needed to drink my tea and leave. Horrible attitude.

I fancied a simple cheese and tomato sandwich and a coffee. It's surprising how many places won't serve such a popular sandwich. Plaza cafe came good for both.

A decent little cafe with friendly owners, cheerful young waitresses and clean tables. The food is cafe food and is excellent and affordable. Come here probably once a month and never been disappointed. As for rats in the food storage area, reported by one reviewer, what a load of nonsense, it's a clean well run cafe with decent people running the place. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good cafe meal at a good price and served with smile.

Ordered 3 meals and 3 drinks today . Tea , & coffee arrived along with a can of cold drink . 40 minutes later food arrived .2 breakfasts and 1 bacon cheese burger and chips., Baked bean slopped all over sides of breakfast plates , egg over cooked , looked like it had been involved in a car crash. Toast cold. Cheap nasty tasteless burger . Had to ask for condiments and cutlery as none offered . Also tables in wrong position in the cafe as we kept having to move for the waitress as she couldn’t get passed people in queue ordering teas and coffees to take away . Other tables too close together . This could have been to maximise seating for the 1940s weekend but not enough space. Really badly organised set up and also a small child sitting behind the counter ( obviously one of the staffs children) who could have easily been burnt by hot drinks being carried over him to take to the tables. It’s a cafe not a crèche !! Won’t return to this venue . I felt sorry for the staff as they liked so unhappy and didn’t know if they were coming or going as they couldn’t easily deliver food to customers in cafe or outside .

Enjoyed a great slice of apple pie delicious with hot custard . So tasty I took a slice home with me .

Worse breakfast ever. hash brown was cremated sausages tasted off, eggs overcooked, when I complained he said charge him double! No one else complained. My dog indicated there were rats in the bin area and the waitress said" oh dear that's our food storage area too. The bit of sausage I ate repeated on me all day. We spend the summer touring have many cafe breakfasts this was worst.

My jack Russell indicated that they had rats in the bin area. The waitress said "oh dear that is our food storage area too We have cafe breakfast all over England and Wales this was easily the worst.

Sat outside on lovely day with our dog. We had all day breakfasts, 1 vegetarian breakfast and a bacon egg cheeseburger and everyone really loved their meals. The service was excellent and people really friendly.

Here for a week and went in here 3 times. Food cooked fresh. Delicious and reasonably priced. Friendly owners. Will go in again when we are back in Sheringham.

Sadly had a very disappointing breakfast here today. Waited over 45 minutes for a small breakfast and a regular breakfast. When they finally arrived, the small breakfast was not hot, the toast was cold. Obviously by then our tea was gone and we had also been thoroughly smoked out by the chain smoking lady behind us. I have to say that the breakfast was very poor. Overcooked bacon, hard eggs and not good quality sausages. The staff were lovely. Two stars given for the happy staff and the nice tea.

Been here many times before always found the staff polite and food very nice. But this time we had a very bad experience the waiter took our order which was an all day breakfast and 2 teas 40 minutes had past and no breakfast arrived teas all drunk up went to the counter to pay and said we have not had the breakfast the chef said sorry he mislaid our order we said we didn't want the breakfast now as we had to go sorry but he didn't mislay the order he was to busy doing takeaway orders for his friends and he charged us for the teas sadly to say i wont be going back there.

We found this little cafe purely by chance when trying to find somewhere for lunch. We sat outside with the dog. Fantastic service and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Stopped here for a sandwich and a drink I had a prawn sandwich bread really fresh husband had a chicken baguette it took a while but was made fresh and we were offered water for the dog

We had a hot chocolate and a coffee with a tea cake and chips. Drinks and food was lovely and service great.

Ordered food and it took so long we caught our next train out of town before it arrived. Others customers having the same problem.

After receiving a flyer we thought we'd give Plaza a chance as we use a competitor , Zhara's 2/3 times a week and always found it to be excellent. However we were swayed into using Plaza because they offered free delivery. On opening our containers we were mortified to see the very small portions and the state of the 'salad' which was miniscule and limp. I had a doner kebab which was stone cold, hard and tasted of cardboard, my partner's was equal in taste but her Sheish (?) was about as big as mince globules. Overall it was extremely disappointing and will return to Zhara's on Saturday where we can expect quality and quantity, Ok we have to walk 500 yards but well worth it in any weather. It would appear that the previous reviews relate to a former owner as one says they had to ctch an early morning train but Plaza doesn't open until 4pm. As with the other comments I suggest they walk across the road and try Zhara's.

We have been eating there for years and especially love the homemade pizzas. Now, we enjoy ordering them for delivery. Lovely owner and his family, delicious pizzas, best ever. The only thing that let it down was the rude delivery driver, otherwise would have given five stars.

We had lunch here twice during a one week stay in Sheringham. The food took a little while to arrive as all was cooked to order. Omelettes were particular good. Service was friendly and efficient.

The plaza cafe is the best place in North Norfolk for an amazing eat in or take away experience... So much to choose from always cooked to perfection with the most fresh ingredients... No kebab like there's around.. but best of all is the friendly staff and amazing owners who do there best to accommodate you to your needs... From locals to tourists you will feel as welcome as the next guys.. a must if you are to be in sheringham

I had to catch a very early morning train from Sheringham to Norwich, and then to Stansted airport. The train was cancelled, it was cold and raining cats and dogs. The Plaza was open, I had a delicious coffee and a lovely chat with the owner, who said relax, I'll let you know when the next train is due. There were a few other regular customers who all received a warm welcome. I left with one of their delicious scones for my journey. If coronavirus allows eventually, I'll return for another coffee and scone, or something else from the menu.

I called in for a drink and to catch up on emails. Service very efficient. Staff pleasant. Prices good value. Good range of choice for the size of establishment and it felt nice and relaxed, not "greasy spoon" and not packaged chain. Outdoor seating under cover as well as indoor. Convenient location between tesco and the station but just off the road so not too noisy. Seemed to have a group of regulars which is further testament to quality.

Did not really enjoyed are time at the cafe. Even though there was 6 of us we had to sit out side in the cold and wind. The children was so cold. We was not offerd a seat inside when any came free. The breakfast was luke warm they came together but we was waiting ages for my son's bacon sandwich. There was no apology for him having to wait so long. Not good

We have been going here for a full English, since 2012. I wrote first review on TripAdvisor I think 🤔. You will have to wait because everything is cooked fresh and the eggs are perfectly cooked for my taste, no slime but yolk just about runny enough for toast dipping, good quality breakfast, downsides... I don't think they take card payment and tea, coffee is extra otherwise spot on sets you up for a good day.

5 adults. We had 3 pizzas, chicken wings, chicken strips, chicken kebab and fries! All absolutely lovely, tasty and hot. All for £50. Very good. Thanks.

Chose to use this café based on the other positive reviews and was not disappointed. Had takeaway pizzas whilst on holiday and I was very impressed. We had; a margarita, a double pepperoni and a vegetable pizza - would have them all again. The garlic bread wasn't so good, I'd give that a miss next time. Staff were very friendly.

Just reopened after lock down.Now have a new menu and are doing takeaways.we ordered two pizzas for 5.30 today and went to collect and the pizzas was already done and waiting and very hot.The food is brilliant and cooked with fresh ingredients.The plaza was very busy when I went to collect,so if would be better to order.The staff are always polite and friendly and will be going again,worth the money xx.

Visited for the annual 1940s weekend in September 2019, we come every year and we had a lovely lunch ! The two waitresses out front were very welcoming and very fast ! The food was amazing and the drinks were served hot and promptly. Will definitely be coming again next year.

Frequent visitors to Sheringham, but had never been in The Plaza until this year. Lovely cooked breakfast - ended up going four times during the week we were in Sheringham. Very obliging staff , friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back next year.

We called here as a party of 7 adults and 2 young children. Excellent food and service, all plates cleared. Mexican burger with jalapeños, best ever. Highly recommend here,nice relaxed setting outside, as well.

I whent here with my friends, at first my friend didn’t want to go out for lunch, but because of this amazing cafe he wants to go next time!!! The staff were very nice and the food was even better! If you are visiting Sheringham, go to the Plaza Cafe!

Me and my friends went to the plaza on Saturday and we all enjoyed it we felt like we where judged when we first went in by the elders. But we ordered our food and waited. We got our food it took some time but it was ok because it was busy. When we finished we all said we would go there next time the staff where kind and welcoming and it was pretty cheap.

Popped in for lunch. Can highly recommend the lasagne very tasty and good value for money.

Great friendly service and very reasonable price, only negative I would say is they clearly don't use locally sourced meat from the butcher's. However don't let this put you of, and if you fancy a Turkish coffee just ask at the counter 😉
