Walked in and Gail who works their recognised us straight away and said a lovely hello and even helped find a nice place to sit for my son who has needs so t was very nice always smiling and helpful if I need it. Food was great as always and nice atmosphere fear. Only thing about the place is that their should be someone on the bar at all times I've had this a few times were we've had to stand their and wait for staff it's not nice when u go to the bar to order and no one is there. Also a group had come in for some reason I wasn't seen but they guy that wanted a Guinness clearly was and after him was Gona serve the group think they need to be more aware of who's next. Then all 3 staff ended up all trying to make coffees at same time just needed to be a little more organised and abit faster on the bar. Oh and to add love the new coffee machine waited months for this haha love it

I went in a few days ago with two work friends and as soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly despite how busy it was. We sat down and found a table and ordered the gammon and the millionaire burger. It came incredibly quickly and Alfie served it quickly and in such a friendly and polite manner, he asked us if we needed anything and came back a few times to ensure everything was going well for us which it definitely was. The gammon was hit and juicy layed perfectly on a hot bed of onions and a juicy tomato, served with crispy plumb chips and peas. My friend said the burger was spectacular aswell so thank you so much for the wonderful experience and thank you Alfie and the girl with the lovely coloured hair for serving us at the bar

We attended the station on Thursday 4th April for a family meal and it was lovely. The meals were delicious and all came out at the same time and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. The waitress Stella and waiter Alfie were kind and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend visiting. Great food! Fantastic staff and its very affordable. We will be visiting again

The last time we visited the menu was limited something to do with the summer holidays.. however we both found something we wanted and really enjoyed it. Food was hot and tasty. No complaints at all. Thank you 🙂 We will be back soon

This was our second time here. We only came for drinks, but after browsing the menu have decided the next time we are here (we come 3 times a year) we will try the food 😋

me and my work friend went to the station pub last wednesday lunch time it was very nice in there me and my work friend both enjoy how meals he had the fish and chips meal I had the gammon meal and we had to cokes as well it was so lovely that me and my work friend could not fault it one bit when we both finish hour meals my work friend said to.me do you want a pudding i said no i am.full up but he had a pudding hot choclate fudge cake with hot custard i just dont no where he put it he.said to me i am full when it came he could not eat it all so he left some off it but he did very well at what he ate off it it was nice where we sat in the corner at a to tablet and chairs on the wall was old pictures off old morecambe how it was years ago when we finish we went and came back later for to more cokes I had to scoops off chocolate ice cream and I got my work friend to scoops off vegan ice cream that what he want every thing was so nice the cokes the meals and ice creams we will be going again soon for a other meal as we enjoy it that much i say

This place may not look the most auspicious eating venue, but the staff and food were wonderful both nights. Sizzling steak and chips, sizzling gammon and chips, beef lasagne and cheesy Mac & cheese, all served fresh by friendly efficient staff. Good draught Moretti. Less than£50 for both nights. Fish & chips , and soufflé at the hotel we stayed in on the Mon over £40 ! No brainier Congratulations to the chefs as well. Cheers

Visited twice on our few days away and it was a really good and friendly Green King pub! Dog friendly! Cheap! And just all round a good visit! Promotions on each night and mon - fri 2 for 11.99!

Absolutely shocking servies told me an hour for food came 45 mins late food was cold do not recommend AT ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!

10/10. Cannot fault anybody. Was really welcoming and everything was cooked beautifully. First time visiting Morecambe and when I come back next. I will definitely be stopping by here again. PS: Thank you to the lady who shouted us back when my girlfriend forgot her bag!!🤣

Due to attending a production next door at the platform for work, we decided to have a meal at the station. When entering Shannon was very friendly & took time to speak to myself & the lad I support who has additional needs. This was lovely & very welcoming of her. Shannon advised on seating & to order at the bar. Once we had ordered the food, it was brought to us by Emily, who was just as friendly & taking the time to speak to the lad I support as well. The food itself was tasty, very good value & enjoyable. Overall, the station is a wonderful pub, excellent staff & im always happy to return & recommend. Thanks to Shannon & Emily for a simple act of kindness for making the lad I support feel seen & accepted.

On a lovely sunny day in February and after a long walk up the promenade, we called into The Station for lunch, as they have such an excellent vegan menu. We chose two roast tomato soups and two vegan fishless fillets, chips and mushy peas.The tomato soup was delicious served with two slices of bread and they even had vegan margarine, which I was very impressed with. The fishless fillets main course was hearty and substantial, with lovely crisp chips and mushy peas, we left clean plates, its a great dish I hope they never remove from the vegan menu.Service was great too from lovely friendly staff ....Overall we had a fabulous lunch and with two mains for only £9.99 Monday to Friday, a bargain as well as being tasty.My only gripe is vegan wines are not listed on the wine list, which is a shame when they have such a great vegan menu and I have contacted Greene King via social media to request they look into this.Will definitely revisit The Station, its our go to place to visit when we visit Morecambe.

Walked in and ordered food which arrived swiftly and was hot and amazing. I ordered the cod but they’d ran out so I had the sweet and sour which was beautiful. The service was great as always. We travel from Manchester at least once a month as we love this place. The staff are lovely and always helpful. The place is clean and well presented. Luke was a lovely smiling server tonight. He’s so helpful, couldn’t do enough for us. Worth a trip definitely.

Greene King who own Flaming Grill pubs have introduced a full vegan menu, so on a day out in Morecambe, we decided to visit for lunch.I ordered vegan fish and chips made with V Bites fishless steaks, served with either peas or mushy peas and my husband ordered the miso and hoisin burger. My fish and chips was delicious and I love Greene King chose a soya free fish product as I am allergic, my husband's burger was given the big thumbs up too, served with top notch seasoned fries, he could not fault it. I later found out hubby's burger was on a non vegan bun, which was my fault as I ordered a miso burger, not realising there was a vegetarian option. The menu states 'please let us know when ordering that you require a vegan meal', so make sure you specify to avoid any confusion.We could not resist desserts, would be rude not to, with three great sounding choices, so I went for the cherry bakewell and hubby had chocolate and coconut torte. The desserts were scrumptious and prove that places offering fruit salad and sorbet should be ashamed and need to follow Greene King's example. We would visit another Greene King pub just for the cherry bakewell and chocolate and coconut torte, they were fantastic.Our experience was excellent overall, the vegan options are substantial, satisfying and tasty and you cannot complain at the price either, so value for money too.

my husband and I love going to the station pub,the staff are really welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them ,the food is very good and nicely presented.the cod is lovely and the chips are the best I,ve tasted in a long while my husband had the gammon steak nicely done with two eggs and it looked really good ,the pub is spotless,and we didn't have to wait very long after we,d ordered it,so we are very pleased with everything so keep up the good work ,we will be back

I eat here regularly and I nearly always choose a pie. Always full of filling and tasty. I also recommend the Tikka Masala and the Southern Fried Chicken Burger. Drinks prices are slowly making there way down too so bravo.

After coming out of the cinema. Decided to get a bite to eat. I don’t know why I suggested The Station. We decided on Hunters Chicken. Was a little wait for the food which was ok. And when it came I wish I hadn’t of bothered ordering. It was supposed to come with dressed salad. Which was just a few mixed leaves with some coleslaw dumped on top. This is not a dressed salad. The chicken breast still had it’s rubbery chicken attached and there was barely any BBQ sauce on it. And there was absolutely no cheese. And calling a bigger chip “Gourmet” doesn’t allow you to only put 8 on the plate. What a shambles. Never again will I eat here. And I advise everyone reading this to do the same. Even with the special dining offer. Not worth it. Laying very heavy on my stomach. Avoid!!!

This place is hopeless. I came here for a meal with my wife prior to an event at The Platform. I ordered a small bottle of Liffe lager at the bar, and the lady behind the bar immediately forgot my order. There was no offer to open the bottle, or give me a glass to drink out of. The meal I ordered (rib eye steak with new potatoes) was equally bad. The steak was chewy, overcooked and virtually inedible. The new potatoes were rubbery and clearly came out of a microwave. Onion rings arrived as an after thought part way through the meal. Tomatoes never arrived. Take my advice and go to Kentucky Fried Chicken around the corner. I have given one star because the young girl that served us the meal was very pleasant and attentive. Avoid.

Called in for our tea 3 adults 2 children.Welcomed warmly by Ross who took our order and sorted our drinks. We had our starters and waited patiently for our main meals. No one came to table to see if we had finished. After 40 mins my daughter asked at the bar where our food was to be told it had been forgotten but chef now started. When it came out, they brought out six meals one of which was not ordered but we had been charged for. Rather than doing a refund for the scampi We asked for an ice cream for the kids instead. To which she agreed No ice cream arrived.We up and left and told them to shove the ice cream.Food not bad apart from over microwaved Yorkshire pudding.

The food is lovely, the staff are pleasant and the management are even better. The place is kept homely and makes me want to come back every time.

We called in a drink whilst staying locally. The building is lovely, really atmospheric. It was such a shame that we were the only 6 people in the bar. Not sure why it didn't seem popular at all.

The Station is a pub I visit very regularly, and each time I have been, there is always one staff member who stands out due to his friendly and kind service. Ross is always happy to answer any questions and make your visit to the restaurant a happy one. He’s very chatty and always very positive, it really makes a difference to have such a happy staff member in the place! He’s always the same whenever I come, and it’s always a pleasure when he serves us! Any problems with food, he is happy to rectify it without any problems and always goes above and beyond to ensure everything else is pleasant.

A lovely reception and the customer service was excellent. The barman Ross was amazing and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome.

Stopped by the station promenade pub to get out of the rain. Entering the smart and lovely decorated pub the young man on the bar greeted me and my friend, we asked about dining, he advised us to find a table of our choice then once ready to order come to the bar. We found a table decided on what to eat then went to order. The same man took out order with good knowledge of the menu and offered additional sides and desserts as we was unsure on whether to get puddings or not he suggested setting a tab up which was a brilliant idea. The food was on the table within 15 minutes even though I was told 20 to 25 minutes. The lady who brought us our food was very happy and couldnt of gone more out of her to way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding so compliments to the chef!! We ended up ordering desserts, settled the tab, again the desserts was on the table within 10 minutes. The pub had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the other guest appeared to be just as happy and satisfied. So giving credit to where it is very much due the young man on the bar (Ross) and the lady (Margaret) are brilliant, adding to the pubs character and charm. Will most definitely be returning to the pub and recommended the station promenade to my family and friends! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

As we entered after booking a tabke. Whilst waiting. We did Notice quite a lot of plates being taken away with Food still on them . Good looked OVERCOOKED. But we decided to Stay as we was on a day trip and was pushed for time . We ordered Hunters Chicken. Told a 45 min wait on food. We decided to Stay as we was being picked up on our Coach just round corner.So we looked at menu. I asked a Waitress young girl. Probably working during college holudays. A question about the menus she went away and asked only to come back and Tell me she was told the MENUS explain themselves. So we Ordered HUNTERS CHICKEN. When it arrived. It was the Smallest Chicken Breast Ever. Chips was about 5. 2 onion rings looked as though they had been kept warm for about a week. The Lettuce was Hot. . In fact now we cud understand why plates was going back with Food still on them. It was our First Visit here and Definatly will be our Last.

When we visit Morecambe we always stop here for a cup of tea. Never eaten here but it smells good and the beer selection sometimes is very good.

Stumbled on this beautiful pub. Decor was lovely and it’s nice to feel the station look still visible. It was clean and tidy and felt so spacious. Food was great and served in good time. A little shout out out for the bar staff who were really friendly and helpful with local knowledge ( Ross and Jake ) The staff made a reel effert to make us feel welcomed , even made fantastic deserts (thank you manger sorry did not catch your name ) Would defo go back well done The Station promarde

Absolutely loved our food at the station in Morecambe, the service provided by staff member ross was faultless from start to finish... nothing was too much trouble for him, from bringing out the food to checking back to see if everything was ok and his delightful jolly face clearing our table ... couldn't recommend a trip to see him nd the staff at the station enough ... 100% satisfied with our trip and will be returning again in the very near future

Visited today whilst attending Vintage by the Sea. The choice of menu was very good, and the ambience was also very nice, friendly staff, and the cost was we thought reasonable. The only draw back was that one of the drinks we ordered was out of stock, and we also over heard that one of the drinks someone else order was also not available. We also had to ask for extra cutlery, as there was some missing on the table. Having said that overall very pleasing visit. The building was light and airy and had the right feeling to it, the music was not loud so not distracting. Yes we would recommend a visit if only to reminisce that it was once an train station and there are parts of the past that are visible and enjoyable.

Needed hot food after dofe and came here very good service from max and some great food thanks for the food will come again if in the area

service was quite good didn't wait too long for food .Food was ok but too much salad and veg.The cleanliness was poor tables were ok but floor was littered with drink tops and food from previous customers and was still there after we had eaten and left

it was our first visit. We changef many times our menu choices because the food wasn't available. Finally we found the right option and we waited at least half an hour in a quiet pub. Finally arrived over cooked rock hard chips and burnt onion rings. We were disappointed and we will never return back.

Looking for somewhere to eat and we stumbled across this establishment which we found welcoming and the food was delicious. The staff were very helpful aswell.

Party of 8. We went there for quick bit to eat well that is what we thought. It was not busy. We ordered a starter and mains for adults and kids had mains and deserts. We asked for kids meal to come with our starters. We waited 30 minutes for our starters and kids waited another 10 minutes after for their mains. I sent 1 child’s meal back as mash was cold. Waited another 5 minutes for it to come back. We asked 6 times for our mains then it arrived the salad on the meal was crumpled up lettuce (ready for bin) with a blob of coleslaw. No gravy for for 2 meals asked for it but did not come. We asked for kids ice cream to come out but by the time we had finished they hadn’t so had to ask again. In all 3 hours in there 2 have meal too long especially with kids.

A large group of us descended upon The Station on Friday 17th August, and wow were we impressed! We were made to feel very welcome, including the dog, and nothing was too much trouble, from rearranging the tables so we could sit together, to the lovely, heavily pregnant lady in the Whacky Warehouse, every effort was made to give the best hospitality. The food was very good, amazing value, and arrived quickly. From the manager to the waiting and bar staff, they were all fantastic, if ever we’re back in Morecambe we’ll be sure to call again.

Went for a meal here was ok we ordered some nachos to start but on checking the bill they had charged us for a large sharing nachos which we hadn’t ordered but didn’t take off bill my daughter had a child’s meal and didn’t get her drink we had to go and ask for it and she ordered the cookie sundae and only got a normal sundae! They weren’t busy so no excuse would I go back? Only if I had too! Which is a shame as the building itself is lovely

Went here with a party of 14 having starters mains and desserts and there was not 1 complaint from any diner everything was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. The staff couldn't be more helpful and even provided table service to make things easier with there being so many of us. 4 hours we sat at our table and not once did we feel we had to hurry up. Would definitely recommend.

First time since refurb. My sister and husband visiting Morecambe so thought I would treat them. 2 fish N chips... Chips over cooked rock hard fish over cooked fish dry and hard. 2 bbq chicken melt... Chicken so small hard to cut into chips over cooked hard, side salad lettuce was rotten slimey sent it back... Just got different lettuce. I complained again got 2 half larger free. Told them I wouldn't be going back. Same company has strawberry gardens I took 20 there and all fantastic. On arrival waited 15 to be served a drink at the bar.

Went for a family meal before I went to work. We ordered 4 adult meals 1 had a hair in it, 3 children's meals. 3 course kids meals for just under a five . I garlic bread was hard 5 yr old could not bite in to it the others had veg sticks carrots cucumber were dry and the peppers ok 2 chi Ken nuggets with chips chips was hard the 1 had fish the fish smelt and the batter was soggy in side they got left. The kids enjoyed there puddings tho.wont be going again that's for sure

After disappointment at Costa and the Midland hotel, we tried the Station in Morecambe.

After refurbishment they had earlier this year (2018) the place looks even better than before and the food is absolutely amazing! We've been going there for year and it really got better this year! And with Wacky Warehouse right there it's a perfect place to come with your kids. They can run and play whilst you have a lovely meal!

Party of 16, kids and adults together. Sun was shining, outdoor music and good service and price drinks. Good wee stop for a drink or too.

we ordered our food before going next door to a show at the platform.6.30 .The starters came after half an hour burnt and chewy left most At 7.45 we were still waiting for our main meal which we asked about a couple of time .It was not that busy either. So at 7.50 we left as we were going to miss the show and I couldn't of eaten it in ten mins. everyone we spoke to were still waiting too. Plus the only things I can eat are fish they were the only ones they said were not available . IN A SEASIDE PLACE NO FISH .never again

Myself and my partner visited here today thinking it would be a safe choice after eating here a few times before and it being great, the last time we are here wasn’t amazing but we were ready to give it another go hoping the last time was a fluke. However, we couldn’t have been more wrong. I ordered the hunters chicken for myself and it was horrid. The menu stated it came with a ‘dressed salad and house coleslaw’ however half of the plate was taken up with a pile of iceberg lettuce with a blob of disgusting shop bought coleslaw on the top (and it was warm so it had obviously been sat under the hot light in the kitchen for a while). This was hardly what was described in the menu. The chips were dripping with grease and were totally inedible and the chicken itself was so over cooked it was unbelievable, the only thing decent on the whole plate was the onion rings. My partner had gammon and his was full of gristle and the eggs were rock hard and his chips were also soaked in grease. Although the server did come to ask if the food was okay, it was very early on before I’d had chance to properly tuck in so when I did begin to eat the meal and found out it was awful i decided to let him know when he came to collect our plates as I had barely touched the food and he hadn’t walked past for me to alert him of the issues. Upon collecting our plates I told the server about the issues with my plate of food and showed him I had barely touched it and then I even quoted from the menu about the salad situation and all I got in response was ‘sorry but that’s how they usually do it, do you want me to go and get you some fresh chips’. By that point I was totally done and ready to leave so I politely declined, I wasn’t offered a refund and he left without another word. It’s safe to say I will not be returning here again.

This is my third visit here, and I must say I have never been disappointed yet and neither have any of my friends , bar service Jonathan and is very good and friendly ,and the food service waiter Ross very accomodating and pleasant, dog friendly which is a huge plus allowed inside on uncarpeted areas, water provided for pets and a jar of doggy treats at the door, more than impressed here !

Service at the station is impeccable and the food is high quality for the low price. Also they show all the World Cup matches. Would recommend to anyone.

Went to the station on fathers day, the pub was very busy but the lady got us a table, from ordering at the bar to finishing off our tasty meal, we was very impressed the staff was all friendly, welcoming and professional! Reading some of the the reviews made me unsure on eating at the station but after experiencing a 5 star service I will gladly be returning and recommending to other people!

Called in for something to eat, very impressive building lots of rooms and seating.. food came out in quick time hot and fresh although fried stuff on sharing platter were very dark food was edible, staff were attentive and friendly and place lovely and clean

On arrival went to the bar to order food & drinks there where to barman behind bar watching tv not looking at who at the bar had to distract them from the tv to serve us.

i came into the station promenade on sunday with my wife and son, we was greeted by Lindsey, who kindly let us sit in a sectioned off area of the restaurant, as my wife is in a wheel chair and couldnt sit at the high tables. once we had ordered our food, despite it being very busy our food was on our table within 15 minutes eventhoughwe was told up to a 30 minute wait, our server Jonathan was extremely friendly and accommodating making sure our needs was met regarding our food, he offered us additional drinks or desserts which was a rather charming touch, the pub was busy but the atmosphere was delightful, all the staff seemed happy and content. will most definitely be returning to the station promenade, the service was out standing, wish i could rate my over all experience more than a 5!!

We ordered 2 Sunday dinners one just beef, one beef and chicken. The meal was unbelievably poor in its quality the beef was tough to the point of inedible, the chicken breast was of the quality of a chicken grill steak typical of Iceland frozen food. Then it seemed microwaved to rubber.

Absolutely love the service at this pub! Everyone has a smile on their faces and the food is tasty. Really pub grub . Lady behind the bar that served us was so kind and made us giggle with the stories she was telling us. Waitress was lovely and clearly knew what she was doing. Lovely place! Deserts were the best

Lovely Saturday late morning,decided to pop in with my mum whise 84 years old and have a coffee and snack sat out in the sunshine( mums a smoker so fine outside)

Stopped in for a drink on May bank holiday,nice big pub ,sky sports and pool table,also does food,drinks reasonably priced and close to market,and on sea front.

Last time approx. 4 years ago was good food and friendly staff.Yesterday 31/5/2018 went in with wife and grandson who both wanted fish and chips.Told by staff,sorry no fish so decided to order chicken.Staff replied sorry no chicken.Whilst we were sat deciding what to order,7 people at the table behind walked out when told same thing.Atleast another half dozen people came in and walked out again.Not the way to run a business.

This use to be great for food and customer service. But today when I arrived was totally opposite there was no fish no steak staff were misserable and had nowhere to sit. Sort yourselfs out or change your management because someone or something has brought you down. I use to recommend you to my customers but I won't be again.

Ignored by staff because I was seemingly stood at the wrong till. I initially wanted a drink and was rudely told a till on the other side of the bar was for drinks only. I couldn't see the sign from where I was stood.

Fantastic Service as always from the lovely team at the Station with a special mention to the wonderful Ross who served us. Very patient with my 4 year old nephew! Cheap prices and good food. Quick and efficient service and super friendly staff! I love this place!

We came last bank holiday Monday, with a group of people we support, 3 wheelchairs, one which was able to sit on a chair independently, went in and asked if there was anywhere we could sit, ( place was verging empty), young lass said ermmm I don’t know, found a table outside and went to order food and drinks, stood at bar, only person waiting, then barmaids friend came, walked past me to chat and serve friend, then another able person came in once again another bar member served her straight away, so I asked if I was invisible, she said “you ordering food!” I said yes her response “wrong till that one pointing to next till!”, so I asked if there was only one member who could take food orders and ignore customers her response “yeah”.. then she said 40mins anyway for food , I looked around at the handful of people half of whom were already dining and said thanks but I’ll go where I’m welcomed and went.. Funnily enough we only went a few pubs down to the Kings Arms where the hospitality and service were 5*.. Shame on you, you really need to train your staff in greeting, hospitality and manners!! Never would I come again or recommend this establishment to anyone, wheelchair users are not lepers nor invisible and also get embarrassed by being out in situations like this.. Actually furious still about our treatment

We as a family visited on 5th, son-in-law ordered steak and creamy potatoes wasn't what he got lumpy stotchy and absolute vile. We ordered fish and chips didnt know you got the paper aswell not edible staff laughed it off ice cream with choc sauce served in a rectangle bowl looking stupid see photos as stated above.And £4.65 for fresh orange and lemonade poured from a carton rip off. Never again

Shocking service. After seating and whilst waiting what seemed an age, we noticed people leaving 1/2 eaten meals and making uncomplimentary comments on their way out. Guy on table near us sent meal back and it still wasn't right when it came back. had a refund and left. After waiting ages and neither drinks, which had been promised straight away, nor meals arrived, we asked for our money back and left. NEVER AGAIN.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch and the live band today. The place has improved rapidly and the staff are very friendly. A lady manager went an extra mile looking for my lost car key and finally was found! I will return there soon.

Came here with my partner and we ordered onion rings for starter, my partner ordered his New York deli burger and I ordered a rump steak melted cheese with sweet potato fries. The order took 40 minutes. My sandwich was some chorizo with cheese sandwich so that got sent back. Had to remind them we ordered onion rings which they then delivered 10 mins later and a further 20 minutes for my sandwich to be corrected. Had to ask for a free drink for the hassle though this should be automatically compensated. Would’ve liked a refund if anything but was too annoyed at the point. It was a lovely weekend and came here for a nice relaxing time. Instead I wasted 1 hr 30 mins waiting for my lunch which the cheese on my sandwich wasn’t melted and my sweet potato fries had gone cold (prob kept the same ones from 20 mins ago) by then I lost all appetite. Had a couple bites and left. Absolutely poor service. Wasn’t even busy. Never come here and waste your time, or money

Visited here yesterday as a family group. Ordered three luxury hot chocolates, advertised with marshmallows, a flake and cream. The three drinks arrived with none of this. When I asked the girl behind the bar she said we don't stock marshmallow and flakes. I questioned why this was advertised and charged for but she said she didn't know. I asked to speak to the manager but this request was ignored. After waiting 20 minutes I was told the manager would come over when he/she had time (pub was relatively empty) but they never arrived. Ignored complaint so they did not have to deal with it. Very poor service and false advertising.

Currently writing this as we finished don't know were to even start food came out quick which is great but all came out luke warm mac & cheese looked like a child's portion also ordered nacho sharer was missing the cheese sauce and sour cream asked waiter if he would mind taking it back and changing them he came straight back out the kitchen hadn't told anyone they didn't have everything they actually goes with the nachos (felt sorry for the young lad serving)... only actually came here as we had seen it had a wacky warehouse turns out it wasn't open and nobody knew why even tho the sign says play is open until 7pm we arrived around 5.45pm.

Wish I'd have read the reviews before coming....

Not really impressed. meal was average and staff could show a bit more interest in their job. A few tables left with plates from previous meals for quite a long time. Toilet blocked.

Paid a visit after it's refurbishment

Family of 14 pre booked for a birthday meal at 5 which we thought would leave plenty of time as we were due to see a show at the Platform at 7 next door. We ordered and after 30 mins those who ordered starters arrived however one starter was missing and one main course came for a family member leaving that person waiting for everyone else to eat. Got to 6:45 and only one main course came and it was stone cold. Unable to wait much longer and after multiple times being told ‘it’s on its way’ a refund was accepted. Staff were extremely apologetic although we thought that after the refurb and plenty of notice that we were a fairly large group the service was dreadful. We all left hugely disappointed and will certainly not be back anytime soon.

Two orders of scampi came out overcooked..yet they came out a few mins apart. Ordered the yorkshire pud wrap it was supposed to come stufeed with steak and stuffing and gravy . All that was in where a few small mouth fulls of steak with gravy either spread on or a tiny ammount poured in. and nothing else it came with chips . They may have wanted to be different turning a yorkshire pud into a wrap but they would be better off sticking to a normal filled giant yorkshire.

Book for table, arrive 10 min later that would given plenty time clear up and set. Knowing there busy

A nice conversion of old station buildings. Comfy and warm. There was NO draught beer on, with no explanation given - bottled beer prices were WAY too high - £410 for a bottle of Newcastle Brown is simply too much. Food was lovely though

called in for a drink the newly refurbished fully inside they have got seatig outside also if you want to sit our side

Well what can I say? I booked in at the station promenade for my mums and grannies Mother’s Day treat, we was shown to our seat by keeley who was friendly and she made sure our needs was met, asking if we required high chairs, she got my niece a colouring set too! we was table assisted our drinks & meal ordered, which was such a personal touch, there was abit of wait on food but the interaction with waiters / waitresses was outstanding, offering more drinks, generous conversation, all my family loved Emma and Caitlin who was our main servers! Our food came out and we could not fault it, it was worth the 30 minute wait! Our over all experience was a 10/10, food & drinks was wonderful, the little touches of a note and chocolates! I have to highlight that how professional all the waitress’ & waiters was! The pub was very busy yet everyone around us was happy and content and was saying how wonderful Mother’s Day was! Will happily return to such a welcoming pub with the friendliest of staff, tasty food and some lovely drinks! Well done to the station pub and a huge thank for making my mum and grannies day

Although it was a really busy Mother’s Day. We had a lovely meal. The service was excellent and the staff although it was busy still took the time to ensure we had everything we needed.

Booked for my Dad’s 60th celebration and what an absolute nightmare the food was over 1hr30m to start coming out. And when it did it had to be sent back to be warmed up. There was 16 people in our group and we still had people waiting for food 30mins after it started coming to the table. Then one of the meals was dropped on the way to the table.

We booked 3 week ago for a surprise 60th meal with all the kids and grandkids, the waitress Jess was fantastic , the rest of the service so bad waited a hour and half for food then it took another half hour before everyone had something to eat , saying that some ended up on the floor before it reached the table the rest was cold or still frozen children were ed last bang out of order, Jess apologized relentlessly, the mangeress wants sacking along with the so called chef never going back again,we did not pay as food went back . Spoilt 60th big time

Went for lunch with my mother, lovely food and brilliant service! Everyone was very welcoming. Big thumbs up.

Absolutely ridiculous..we ordered two adult meals and a child's meal...an hour and ten minutes, and we still had no food...they promised "we were next.. five minutes max" we will bring you some complimentary drinks right away.. fifteen minutes later still no drinks or food...not once were we told there would be a wait of any kind...or any of the other tables around us...we will not be back.

Went here last night it was lovely, we had a warm welcome and our doggies also got a warm welcome :)

This pub was just lovely, we went last night with our dog. We searched morecambe for a decent dog friendly pub and this was perfect. The staff were so friendly; great service, lovely food. Good value. We ended up staying longer than planned. The pub itself is a really lovely building too. I would definitely recommend it.

i went there yesterday for a evening meal, i had the fish and chips, it was beautiful, i had nothing to complain about, even the plate had been warmed first, the atmosphere was nice and light, it is a hell of a lot better than it used to be, with unfriendly staff and lousy food. It was excellent last nite.

On a breezy Monday lunchtime whilst out and about we were starting to get peckish and had heard that the Station had recently undergone a refurb so we made an impromptu visit for lunch.

The place wasn't busy,45 minutes after ordering the staff came to tell us our meal was being played,15 minutes later some of were served the rest were served later,the service was poor,the food was mediocre and some of the orders were wrong,it was a family celebration and we were very disappointed ,the new decor is lovely but the staff and food are not up to the job,won't be going again
