We haven't been to Lancaster for some time, but on previous visits have always been here for lunch. We did not realise until we arrived today that the business had been totally refurbished after suffering flood damage. There seemed to be much more room and the quality of the food at a reasonable price was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive,we will be back

There's no other way of putting it I'm afraid. Ordered a cheese toastie and salad for my young child - the salad was turning brown with a wrinkled slice of orange. The toastie was dry but I had to pay extra for sauce. Also had the smell of cigarette smoke coming from the back and staff eating as they were serving you. Oh, and flies buzzing around and an ant in the sugar bowl. One of these things I would let pass but all together this isn't acceptable in an eating establishment, especially when there are so many cafes in Lancaster that try harder.

Busy little pie shop, often with queues to get in. The pork pies are tasty enough but wider and flatter than what you would expect. The pastry on all the pies is nice but some of the pies are on the s

Without exception, all staff were very accommodating. Very nice to the kids and found us another table out of the sunlight at our request. A lovely evening finished off with lovely ice cream.
