This takeaway sandwich cafe serves fresh food. It is very clean and well staffed. The only down side is the parking as it is on a main road but if you know the area there is a small car park at the rear.

Even I could make a sandwich better than pjs, don't know how they can get it so wrong. If you want a nice bacon sandwich try Taylors just up the road.

From the moment I stepped inside, there was a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The real highlight of my visit, however, was the lovely food. Each dish that came out of the kitchen was clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The quality of the ingredients shone through, and the flavours were absolutely delicious. Whether you're after a classic pub favourite or something a little more special, The Oxford Pub seems to have something to satisfy every palate. Adding to the positive experience was the good portion size. I certainly didn't leave feeling hungry! It was refreshing to receive a substantial and satisfying meal that offered excellent value for money.

Great food from chefs sarah, lou and corey paired with great service from Kelly B, Nathan and the Morgans. The fish and chips is one of the best i’ve ever had :)

Overall we love this place and we keep coming back, service was not good at all and took 25 minutes to seat us even thou we had reservatio, other parts off service was fantastic the staff are great and smiling as for the Atmosphere myself personally found if overwhelming and just to much going on. But it's a fantastic place we love it and we will always return amd recommend the wine press

Visited as a family of 4 on a Sunday afternoon. Booked online beforehand and was seated fairly quickly. My partner went to the bar to order when a rather rude waitress came over to my table and told me the table was actually reserved. She pointed at the reserve sign and told me I can't just walk in and sit where I want. I replied I had reserved online and another member of staff seated us at this table. To which she replied 'well these tables are hard to find especially on a sunday'. I'm not entirely sure what she meant but I shrugged it off and carried on. All four of us 2 children and 2 adults ordered the carvery which was okay at best. My 8 year old daughter realised she had forgotten to put broccoli on her plate when she got back to the table. I told her to nip back and get some. She came back with a bright red face and on the verge of tears with no broccoli on her plate. A lovely lady sat near the carvery told me what had happened. The same waitress as mentioned above had told my 8 year old to go and sit back down and she isn't allowed to get any broccoli because it's 'not an all you can eat buffet'. This happened infront of everyone waiting in the carvery que and clearly left my daughter feeling humiliated. Speaking to the waitress in question got us nowhere. She proceeded to tell me she couldn't get any more veg because all the food gets weighed at the end of the day. I told her it's exactly the same amount of food because my daughter would have added it to her plate had she not forgotten. She responded with 'there is nothing I can do'. How utterly ridiculous after spending almost £100. I'm appalled any waitress thinks it's acceptable to speak to any child in that manner. How humiliating for her. Safe to say we will not be returning and certain staff members need lessons on how to respectfully speak to people including children.
