Pj's The Sandwich Maker in Rochdale

Whether it was an over busy night but burger burnt and dry as a bone, very disappointing. Starter a strange combination of hoisin duck spring roll with curry dip, not nice, my own fault though as I thought it read plum sauce. Slow service as well.

Go in most days staff are pleasant and go above and beyond but just recently when you get a drink it is flat it looks like they need new glasses but on asking the manager sue says they don’t, I find her very abrupt,she never smiles she has a very bad attitude towards her customers unless they are her friends, I mean it is dear enough for a drink but when you get it it looks like dish water I won’t be going again and I know several people that are going else where perhaps if they got new glasses and sue was a bit more pleasant towards her customers I might along with my friends return

We bobbed out for an afternoon bite to eat during half term. It was a relaxed atmosphere and had a lovely area outside for looking out over the lake and letting the kids play. We had the Steak and Chicken cheese fondue, the Chicken parmigiana and a kids carvery. The food was lovely, cooked well and well presented. The amount you get for the prices is amazing, especially since my sons meal came under kids eat free. We have to give a special shout to Izzy who was absolutely wonderful, polite and enthusiastic to help, gping the extra mile, including sourcing a phone charger for myself and quickly turning our lads dessert into a takeaway option when we had to rush off 😀

The woman behind the bar was incredibly rude and unhelpful and was bossing other colleagues about. Shocking customer service. Won't be back which is a shame because it's a lovely setting and I guess that's why they get customers
