Even though it was a busy Sunday, staff were great and food was lovely. Tim served us at the till and was very helpful. Thank you.

Had a fantastic time at waterfold today all the staff are amazing big shout out to ash on the bar amazing service and dan and meg and becky also amazing thank you so much for making my day so special had the carvery today outstanding all nice and fresh and piping hot thank you james for your fantastic service on the carvery all the staff go above and beyond. and all staff work very hard it was very busy today and the staff was amazing as always thank you waterfold you never disappoint us see you again soon px

Had to come back again to try the new menu options! We tried the yorkie wraps and it definitly was a hit. The lovely vaun was very attentive as always and the girls at the bar were great too always a good atmosphere every time I come here

Visited on Thursday night as noticed they had a new menu starting. Went for the Tex Mex and it was amazing! Special thanks to Ash who was really accommodating

Excellent food and staff, very reasonable prices considering! A family meal for 3 was cheaper than a McDonald's!! Tom was helpful and witty as usual! coming again soon!

I found all the staff very friendly and polite, had a wide choice of breakfast items to choose from. Again VAUN was polite and cheerful, also VAUN came to ask if everything was satisfactory, which i thought was nice ( you didn't get that kind of service in many places anymore).I will definitely come back and recommend to my friends and family.

Food was nice but it was a massive let down by the service. The lady dropped a pot of gravy on the floor and it went all over me & my wife. No apology until we complained about it to her. She cleaned the floor before saying anything to us. Very rude staff & the service is slow too!

Carvery food cold, menu’s sticky, glasses not clean, overall a very bad experience

Although we were advised prior to eating that they had a "bad batch" of potatoes, and that the mash and roasties may not be up to standard, I did select a couple of roast potatoes and yes they definitely had a bad (or rather rotten) batch...they were black inside, not something that would happen in the cooking process...and definitely not something I would have put out for human consumption. In my opinion I would have binned the lot and complained to the supplier and not tried to wing it with the customers. The rest of the food was ok, meat was tasty enough and veg was ok, cauliflower cheese ewww...no sauce with it just a bit of cheese grated on top. Also the interior is a little tired and had a grubby feel about it - dust at the edges of the carpet where the hoover has definitely missed. Not a great experience and one we won't be rushing to repeat...sorry

Been going to Waterfold 15 years and it’s still as good as ever. Vaun was our server and she is so so lovely and accommodating to our needs. She deserves a medal 10/10. Thanks Vaun 🥰

Oscar and Eve were our waiter / waitress’ today and what a fantastic job they do! Never an empty glass on the table and they were so polite and welcoming. We will definitely be returning in the future as not only was the service PERFECT! The food was amazing too 10/10!

Always attend here, usually fab but today was not a great experience... Grit in glass, customer service not up to its usual standard. This was not what we usually encounter at the waterfold so it was quite disappointing

Thanks to Pam who's not just a lovely waitress but an absolute breath of fresh air, what a character, my fiancee and I who got engaged here two weeks ago actually... Had a lovely time, great food, amazing atmosphere and thanks for being the most amazing carvery in the world! Well... We're a bit biased there lol but seriously you are all amazing xxx Ali and Mikey

Our wonderful helper Vaun was fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. It made a nice experience so much better. It is so nice to be looked after by someone who clearly Loves what they do, and it shows. Fab quality food staff excellent nice roast dinner an gammon an turkey roast potatoes to die for fast an quick service good staff an friendly had to wait for the sweet a bit but was fab worth it not too busy inside can donate an raffle going on for cancer research charity no need to get a ticket if you don't want to

We visited late on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily it wasn't busy so we got a table straight away and enjoyed a carvery. Meat was nice and tender and good selection of vegetables. I asked for a portion of peas for one of my fussy daughters and they were happy to oblige. The staff were all efficient and friendly, and it was nice talking to Millie. Thank you for an enjoyable meal.

Too focused on takeaways meaning the queue for carvery was always extremely long. Need more staff on carvery or at least pre slice the meat to prevent a big hold up. Cheese pie was watery and cold by time we got to front. Probably wouldn't go again.

We came for drinks and had a lovely time here. Ellie was really friendly and helpful and service was excellent. Will be returning.

Queues for food can get a little long and take a while to navigate (although you can order via the app if not paying cash) but, other than that, I can't fault the place for good pub food at a decent price. I can particularly recommend the hunters chicken. Generous in both chicken and BBQ sauce and best I have had (and I've had a lot!) Staff are always friendly and a nice atmosphere. Tom was very personable and helpful today

Amazing experience today. We were waited by Ellie who was friendly with lovely manners when checking on us and clearing our plates. Food was fantastic - overall a brill place👍

On a short notice decision between me and my partner we decided that we fancied a roast dinner so arrived and we found it very welcoming we was seen to our table very promptly and the members of staff that we had dealings with both at the bar and from table services was excellent but one person stood out for her politeness and going the little extra mile by making sure everything was just right for us and her name was Jessica she really did stand out even though you have an amazing team looking forward to returning again in the near future

Food was extremely awful, it was carvery breakfast, only beans were hot. Hot water for tea was in a flask and luke warm. All in all for £20 worst breakfast we've ever had.

Food is always good and gets busy weekends throughout the week, carvery is a really good price £8.95

We visited today the staff made our visit. My daughter has additional needs and the lady who came to our table (think her name was Jessica) was polite and attentive to her, complimenting her drawings and even signed thank you to her when removing my daughters plate. It's service like this that makes outings much easier for us as a family. Thank you.

Absolute trash got a breakfast tray delivery which tastes like yesterday’s, tastes like it’s been sat out in sun all day all dry and stale absolutely disgusting.

I came in here today with my family for the cavory and I had an amazing time. The waiter Millie was really good and was very polite and helpful. The food was really nice and the service we couldn’t fault. Definitely recommend and will come again and thank you to the waiter for her hospitality.

Despite being busy, the service was quick and overall great. We had the carvery and some drinks which was good. Extra thanks to Millie for serving us helping our way around.

We came on a very, very busy time after we had booked in. We was apologised to when ordering food as the wait time was about 45mins. This was ok with us as we could see it was very busy. If we had had a carvery then it was about 10mins The service we got even though they were busy, was fantastic Pam and tegan, who brought out our food was rushed of their feet but still had time to smile and as if we needed anything else like sauces. Tim, who served us at the counter, was also smiling even though there was a queue. Every time we come, the staff are always smiling no matter what and are always very helpful. Thank you

Came here as we were going to an event in the area. We all had the carvery and it was very good. It was quite busy but we didn't have to wait long and the carvery had a great selection of meat and vegetables and gravy.
