Amazing vegan options! My new go to pizza take out

They corrected the mistake that Deliveroo made and we really appreciated that! Everyone should use the Pizzaface delivery service, it's a lot more reliable and they found our tricky to find flat quickly! Thank you!

Amazing wood fired pizza and super fast collection.

We usually love Pizzaface's pizzas but were very disappointed with the service we received from them this evening. We ordered two pizzas and a garlic bread through UberEats but when the order arrived we were missing a pizza. When we called to ask about it they knew immediately which pizza it was as it had been left behind. They said we would have to resolve it with UberEats but when we asked if we could still have the pizza they said we would have to order it again (which was more expensive than via UberEats) and pay an additional delivery fee. As new parents who were excited to treat ourselves we were really disappointed by this response to an issue which was their mistake. We finally received our second pizza almost 2 hours after placing our initial order and their mistake cost us an extra £7 and a lot of unwanted stress from a disrupted evening routine with a crying baby. Unfortunately we will be avoiding ordering from them in the future.

First let me say it was wonderful pizza, they know their stuff in that department! I was disappointed, however that they gave me the wrong order with the wrong toppings on it, so be warned! It was only after I checked I then had to send it back, which for the price of their pizzas is not acceptable! They need to up their game in the accuracy department and not leave it to their customers to check their work.

Pizzaface is a long-standing favourite among our friends and, in my opinion, offers the best pizza in Brighton and/or Hove. The toppings are always a fantastic quality and the size is perfect for smashing an entire pizza to yourself if you're ravenous, or saving a couple of slices for breakfast if you're not so hungry. The only gripe is, as others have mentioned, actually getting the pizza to your face can be a bit of an arduous task. There's only one phone line at the Hove shop, so getting through to place your order can be tricky (better to go online). Picking up is a charmless affair, but waiting for it to be delivered can take 1-2 hours. We've given up and gone to Fatto A Mano on the odd occasion.

When I looked in the window and saw Pizzaface showcasing that they had won an award for best pizza from whatever reviewer in 2013, I have to admit, I had my reservations. But then I ordered the Vesuvius. Like the innocent civilians of tragic Pompeii, I was instantly rocked by the great volcanoes namesake. I think it’s time to give them a new award. Tastiest Pizza within a 1-2 mile radius of their store 2023. Well done Pizzaface. You guys earned it.

I love the pizzas created and made at pizza face. This week however completely messed up my walk in order! Very rarely do I have to complain but a new member of staff seems to have had a problem reading and distinguishing the different types! I emailed them with the error (so busy couldn’t get through on the phone). So the customer care was great within 30mins of email I had a call back and a apology and refund for the mess up. So we all know mistakes happen the key is how to correct it and keep your customer happy. I was impressed on reflection with pizzaface. At the time however very fed up - ordered a Vesuvius pizza got a vegetarian pizza. So pizzaface keep up the fabulous pizza’s just take an extra moment to make sure the orders are correct!!

Great pizza in the Hove area, always my go to for takeaway pizza. A wide selection of classic and interesting pizzas on the menu. A must try.

Pizza from here is always a treat worth looking forward to for the family. Whenever I order online from nearby, my pizzas are ready and warm by the time I walk in to pick them up. And the range of toppings are fresh and tasty.

Have had delicious tasty pizza in the past but tonight very disappointing…. Bland, cold and uninspiring😞 up your game guys!!!!

Pizzaface offers brilliant products; the team are really friendly, and the cooking times are short especially if you pick it up yourself. The introduction of side dishes and small starters over the last few years has been warmly received, and they complement the pizzas greatly.

When Uber eats messed up our order with these guys they went out of their way to sort it themselves. Great service - and the pizza is top class. Recommended.

Generally tasty pizza from these guys. My only complaint is with their Deliveroo drivers, I live just 2 miles away in Brighton, and for some reason my pizza is always cold on arrival 😔

Actual pizza was amazing as always with some great choices but I do not recommend a pizza with goats cheese. I love goats cheese but whatever it was that I just ate tasted nothing like it and made me feel a bit ill 🤢 everything else was great though.

Really tasty pizza! Great veggie options too. Portobello Mushroom as a side is yummy. So good that you can order with them directly rather than being forced to use one of the delivery providers - rare these days. Finally they were awesome when we missed part of our order yesterday - they called us up and enquired later on in the evening and then sent us a replacement. Great service.

Poor pizza. We used to order from here a few years back. Re ordered and picked up. Gluten free please was good however over cooked and burnt. Non gluten free pizza the same. Ingredients just thrown on and not given a care about. Ham not cut up into smaller pieces or with the pizza. Just poor effort and not the same as it used to be

I ordered from here a week ago, where I went to walk into the store and was very rudely told that I was not allowed to come inside so I obliged but as I asked if my pizza was ready from outside the girl on the phone was very rude and blunt and shouted back No! But it was a very tasty pizza overall

Best takeaway I've had, I can't eat cheese so I'm usually stuck with vegan pizzas, but here you can fully customise so vegan cheese with pepperoni is in! Lovely well cooked dough with great selection of toppings. I'm usually disappointed with pizzas and this place has met my exacting standards (not to mention delivery was 45 mins quicker than expected!) Edit: this pizza powered me through 13 pages of my postgrad dissertation so it seemed to have magical powers for motivation and powering the brain!

Ordered pizza and cheesy garlic bread. Received garlic bread with no cheese (again) and pizza with extra pieces of hard sharp plastic in it. Tried to email them but haven't got a reply back. It's been a month now. Very disappointing as we really liked the food. It probably depends which restaurant you order from, we went to Pizza Face Worthing and the service, food and staff were amazing.

The pizza is amazing but they dont cope well with being busy. Orders have a habit of arriving very late or with things missing. Order early or have a snack, it's still worth it.

Disappointed with the pizza I got last week, it just wasn't very tasty, it tasted like it had had way too much oil on and been cooked too long so it was tough to eat. I've had a pizza from the kemptown shop before which was amazing however this disappointing pizza has put me off getting another pizza face.

I ordered a pizza and paid £1.50 for vegan chorizo to be added. My (6 slices of) pizza arrived with 7 small pieces of chorizo added. 21p per piece, rip off! And the pizza was so smothered in sour cream that the base was falling apart and the toppings were sliding off. It was a thoroughly disappointing meal.

We got a local recommendation to try this place. Last night we had a takeaway. We all agreed it was the best pizza we've had.

Their Pizzas are great, but they charge an extra £3 for a Gluten free base, which is crazy, especially considering the gluten free pizzas are quite a lot smaller than the normal ones.

Pizza is usually of a pretty high standard. But sorrow of losing one of their awesome temopary specials can be painful. However to be fair, one day it might be mind blowingly good then just good on another. The quality of ingredients is high. The specials are my favourite. I just wish they could keep some of the specials permanently as I've really liked some of them, for example there was one with mortadella, manchego, chilli and olives I think called 'phantasm' ages ago. Broke my heart when it changed 😢. My 'go to' pizza place, smashes the beejesus out of domino's and the like.

First time visit. Arranged collection. One of the most flavousome pizzas I've had in a long time. If ever nearby don't hesitate to check them out.

Ordered two pizzas, had to throw both away part eaten. One of them was all onion, I've never seen so much onion on something in my whole life. I threw it away after once slice. The other made my partner feel ill after only eating half. She was up all night with stomach pains. Pizzas were dry, sparse, burnt around the edge, and had a weird taste. I can only assume they ran out of ingredients and could only throw on whatever few things they had available. Didn't look anywhere near as good in real as any photos. I won't be making the same mistake twice.

Ordered two pizzas, garlic bread and drinks. We were told the food would be 45 minuets, after waiting an hour I called to check were are food was, we were told it would be with us any second, 20 minuets passed and still had no food so gave them another ring and I was told the driver had been held up and the food would be with us within 5 minuets, another 20 minutes went past so I called up again, I was told the driver had delivered the food to the wrong address (nobody thought to let me know). The food arrived after two hours, I payed full price (£25) but was told by the lady on the phone that this would be credited to my phone number for the next time I ordered. I called to place my order a week or so later and was obviously surprised to be told that there was no credit on my account, I explained the situation to the manager who was very rude and I was told that giving credit was not company policy. The person I spoke to was extremely rude and I was not given the credit, I was told that I would be able to get £15 the off my order but then she corrected this to 15%. Not happy at all. Was on the phone for 25 minuets and nothing was resolved.

Had a couple of lovely vegan pizzas delivered promptly to our hotel. Just about to tuck in to the vegan chocolate brownie. :)

A fusion of traditional italian pizza base with a wide variety of toppings. I found the combination of toppings not always working though, this hence the 4 star **** rather than that I would definitely recommend this place

Fabulous food, quick service for freshly made food!

The Parma and Fungi pizzas were just very good, especially the fungi...really tasty with the truffle oil...yum! The salad was also very fresh and tasty, although it might be good to offer a choice, my friend reacts to spinach and rocket would have been better for her. Although they're not set up for proper dining in we were lucky to get there as the one table became free and we sat in to eat, there are 2 small tables outside I think. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

Delicious take away pizzas with a nice twist to them. Spelt bases and gluten free bases available and lots of vegan options should you want to miss out the meat! The pizza was delicious with​ a great base and seriously good topping. Nice choice of cheese to. I will be returning as soon as possible, and it's a hour long round trip!

I live a 5 minute drive from this place - ordered a Pizza at 6.45pm and it turned up at 9.10pm with no apology. Nice Pizza but waiting over 2 hours is a joke.
