PIzza Pilgrims in Nottingham

3 couples eating for supper. Pizza was so very thin. Like paper and very dry. The American pizza was disgusting. Pizza base had a Bit of cheese, ham and chips and that’s it. Dry as cardboard. Smallest dips ever. Brought the dips and sides half way through as they had forgot it. Then wanted to charge us £17 tip. Obviously we didn’t pay it. Can honestly say we had better Greggs in the afternoon. Shocking

Awesome pizza! On a really busy Saturday lunchtime we had fabulous pizza. Upstairs was calm and relaxing. Service was impeccable. The vegan Pizza Love was outstanding, light crispy dough and lots of veg and olives.

Absolutamente increíble experiencia. Teníamos la habitación privada, The Dramatic, para la graduación de nuestra hija. El equipo nos hizo sentir tan especiales y nos hizo el día perfecto. Las pizzas eran maravillosas. Incluso los franceses de la familia quedaron impresionados y los franceses son difíciles de complacer. Andrea, eres la mejor. Gracias Keri por hacer el día de Lily aún más especial. Lewis y Sophie, el mejor servicio, gracias 😊

Part of a large group. Whilst I accept there may well be delays for large orders, 1hr 45 minutes is far too long. £40 for 4 slices and 2 pints is unacceptable. Don’t take large group bookings if you can’t cater properly for them.

Tried Pizza Pilgrims Nottingham for the first time, after fab gig at Rough Trade and the food was amazing. Daughter is Coeliac, so we’ve tried every gluten free pizza out there, but nothing tops this one. Tastes like the real deal, would definitely recommend.😀 very happy customers, thankyou!

We loved the decor & there was a really good atmosphere. All 3 pizzas. we ordered were excellent, as were the cocktails that my wife & daughter enjoyed. Special mention for the fried artichokes though !! Would definitely recommend & hope to return soon.

Never a bad word to say about pizza pilgrims! I always get the Nduja with extra pepperoni and a pesto crust dipper and always love the items that arrive at my table! As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with the best welcome and run through their current guest pizza and where the idea comes from. I had Ania and I think his name was Ash (I think) and they were both incredibly friendly and looked after me throughout my visit. I’m here so often that I think they may start to remember me soon ahaha (maybe I’ll even have my own named pizza) but to summarise I feel like this is my all time favourite pizzeria in Nottingham for the most authentic Neapolitan pizza!!!! Without a doubt I will be back (who knows maybe for dinner tomorrow ;D ) thank you all!!

Probably second best pizza place in Nottingham. Was well worth the price. Service and drinks were nice aswell. Only negative was the added service charge

We were in a hurry as off to the cinema but the staff were very accommodating and reassured us they could make our pizzas quickly. They were served up fast but were really good quality. Great bases and flavours. Would recommend the Carbonara! We’ll definitely be back!

While the pizza was great, the service doesn’t match up. The staff seem bored and disinterested, and keener on slowly clearing tables, chatting and being busy ignoring customers… don’t expect a second drink! Makes the included service charge a bit… hmmnn. The pizza is fab, but there’s equally good to much better from Nottingham independents with fab service.

As a fan of Pizza Pilgrims in London, I had no doubt that Nottingham was going to be no different. Lovely food the selections of pizza are always a bit unique but not to the point of being odd on top of the classics that always stick. Great fast service, lovely drinks and a fun atmosphere. Will definitely be coming more often

Amazing food, came quickly and had great service, Americana sounds strange but was so good, would definitely reccomend!

Really yummy pizza, dough was amazing! Pizza dips worth it, very tasty. Peach ice tea was lovely. Service was great, waitress was lovely! Highly recommend!

If this review was based solely on the food then it would be an easy 5 stars. The 8 cheese pizza was excellent and I loved the tiramisu. Would definitely go back for the food. However other minor points let it down. Service was a bit disappointing. Sides arrived about 5 minutes before the pizzas so they sat there going cold while we waited. We ordered the fritto misto which the menu says comes with a selection of dips. Shame they are served in the same dish so one dip gets tainted with the flavour of the other dip. Waitress slow to bring drinks, I could see them sat on the bar for quite a while and bartender ended up going to get the waitress to serve them. Cocktail menu very limited and I wasn’t keen on the espresso martini. Don’t like that automatic 12.5% service charge added onto bill. Hardly optional when done this way.

What an amazing place, family friendly and a beautiful decor inside. My family ate here last Saturday and we wasn’t disappointed the pizzas where beautiful we had a lovely young lady assisting us that evening, she was polite all smiles and great with my children giving them small pizza boxes to draw on while we waited for our food, she went above an beyond evening helping me with what drink I should have (as I don’t know any Italian drinks) You will not be disappointed by the amazing pizzas and the atmosphere inside. 5** any day. We traveled from Huddersfield to eat here as my partner delivers to this restaurant every week, we will be returning again as the pizzas are the best I’ve ever had :)

Was very much looking forward to visiting Pizza Pilgrims after hearing good things from their London restaurants. Firstly, food was good - pizza lived up to expectation, decor was comfortable and staff were friendly. For two pizzas, starters, two drinks and dessert it came to c£65. What I disagree with and why I wont come back or recommend is the optional service charge of 12.5% added to the bill. You should leave a restaurant feeling comfortable and satisfied. And not to feel awkward at having to pay more than expected. It is hardly optional when it is automatically added to the bill. If you need to add it automatically you should pay your staff more and not guilt me into tipping. The service was as expected. I ordered, they brought the food. No one went above and beyond yet that’s almost £10 more added to my bill. Great, thanks. Fortunately Nottingham has had a number of pizza restaurants open up and so will take my business elsewhere where I’m not made to feel uncomfortable.

Don’t usually do reviews, but having only 4/5 on Tripadvisor is just not fair. The pizzas are excellent and easily the best in Nottingham and probably the whole of Notts. Amazing bases, well cooked and some really interesting side dishes too. Great drinks - beer and cocktails. Visited twice now and will take pics next time. Very good - well done Pizza Pilgrim team ❤️🍕

We visited late on Saturday evening without a booking. We weren’t confident about getting a table, however we were welcomed and were found a table. Great beer. The pizzas are the best in Nottingham. Large but as light as a cloud to eat. Delicious! Excellent, friendly service. Can’t wait to go back. When you go to the toilet, don’t forget to press the big red button!!

This was an amazing pizzeria experience. We had the spicy honey pepperoni pizza and it was so delicious, hard to put down until it was all gone. Dough was amazingly soft and crisp, cheese and tomato sauce were in perfect proportions and pepperoni on top. Only thing I’d love is more pepperoni, counted about six per pizza. Would recommend 100% All other chain pizzas do not compare at all. Much better quality.
