Pizza Palace in Leicester

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! Made a £50 order. It was absolutely appalling. Food was over an hour late, ordered at 6.50, and it didnt arrive till 9, the original delivery time was 7.35-7.55, the food was luke warm at best. The burger bun was stale and rock solid. The only response we got was "Sorry its busier than expected". That is not good enough, if it is too busy for you to keep up with orders and deliver a satisfactory meal, stop accepting the orders! Absolute waste of money!!!!

When it finally arrives it’s absolute garbage avoid!!!!

Been a loyal customer for a long time. But I was sadly really let down at the weekend. After placing an order through the app. We waited and 'Food was on the way' after waiting 20 mins after the specified time. I phoned the 1st time only to be told our food hadn't even been cooked they missed it. 20 mins. I said okay no worries. 30 mins later I phoned again. The man was very rude and said it is with the driver and will be 10-15 mins then he hung up. 30 mins later (should have gave up) I called again to be greeted with poor attitude and told it will be 10-15 mins. When I said you said that last time could I speak to manager he said he's away. I asked if I could have money off the order he said manager is not in no. Food will be 10-15 mins. Finally after over 2 hours wait I called again and the same man answered and told me the driver has it 10-15 mins apparently he had been to the wrong house twice and hung up. Food arrived 5 mins after. Luke warm and far below the usual standard. I am hoping the manager sees this and can explain how standards were allowed to drop so so far below normal. It's put me off ordering again but it's been a family favourite since before the new ownership. So I guess we will see.

Only recently used this place since changed owners, now the food is good and pizza is not swimming in grease. Definitely recommend this place, I've only used collection so can't comment on delivery .

This place is now our go to take away for us as a family, staff are welcoming and friendly food has improved since the change in management highly recommended 👌

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. The food was almost 2 hours late, and there was no update on Uber Eats. We had to call the restaurant three times, and every time we spoke to the person handling orders, they were incredibly unprofessional. Instead of offering any real explanation or solution, they just kept extending the delivery time and told us it would be "very late." This was beyond frustrating, and when we asked for a more specific time, they couldn’t provide one. The lack of communication and professionalism made the entire experience unacceptable. Definitely won't be ordering from here again.

This was are 1st time ordering after getting a flyer through the door. The gentleman on the phone was lovely and polite, the food (pizzas) came on time and was pipping hot.Great food will defo order again 5⭐️

My order was missing chips... I rang and told them they said they are busy and they will not send chips back out as they are too busy... Spoke to a girl... Because you're busy I don't get what I've paid for and ordered.... Also visited the shop... Like very very unhygienic... Guys touching their private parts and then the food made me feel very very sick

Did a collection, gave us 3 different prices at first which was already confusing. They forgot to add our drinks on the order, then had the audacity to call back and say we own them extra money for drinks due to their mistakes.Have been a loyal customer for a years. Very disappointed and poor customer service

10/10 pizza, however the wings were dreadful

I have been ordering from this place for a very long time and ever since the recently new management. I can say, I have seen a improvement in the quality of food and especially with the pizzas now tasting even more better. The service is good and with the new renovations of the shop, I highly recommend ordering collection as this may save 10 minutes compared when waiting for delivery. Other than that it is an amazing place with amazing staff and food.

Absolutely disgusting service. 3 times had to come to my door each time got order wrong. Ruby lady on phone did not want to take responsibility for any of it. Told me manager who she said to me was called barish in and out all night so each time asked to speak to him he wasn’t in. Delivery driver turned up for old burger and chips and when I rang up to ask why they said they never sent him. Delivery driver came back with cheese burger 3rd time round and driver was rude! And lady on phone promised us cheeseburger chips an a drink for a mess up and then sent cheeseburger chips an no drink telling me manager said no drink even though told wasn’t in the shop. Heard her shouting dad though! Pathetic and disgusting service. Would not recommend!

I order for the third time only online and I am satisfied because the food is delicious, hot AND cheap. the disadvantage is that it comes a little late, you have to wait nearly 2 hours for delivery to the door but the food is delicious really.

Ordered 6 Pizzas Only 2 were correct 1 of the pizzas had peppers on the wrong pizza Although there were peppers ordered it was on the wrong pizza The pizza it was on was my daughter’s She is allergic to peppers So she had to eat one of the other pizzas. The delivery was quick The pizzas were hot Just not what I asked for.

I ordered the delivery driver rang said can’t get to me cause of floods driver had very poor English but every time I tried to speak he shouted over me i wanted to give him directions but due to his lack of cooperation I was unable I rang the shop they again went from speaking to me to others with no communication of give me a min whilst I talk to someone they then decided to cancel the order but have still taken th money out my bank very unprofessional especially the driver no customer skills at all we was regular customer but after tonight won’t order again

Disgraceful, for weeks I overlooked the extra bits I ordered . Tonight I won't accept bad service. Really sad as I my family loves pizza palace , sadly service and forgetting items is no longer acceptable, especially after over an hour and a half 😢

Well after many late deliveries and the shrinking of kebabs tonight finished my custom completely. 18:47 order.. 20:30 turns up 3 miles away. Apparently after ordering through their app a problem with my card and order cancelled.. message from them.. so check card.. check bank app..no worries order a pizza from a separate business, then turns up 1 hour 40 mins after ordering. You've lost a customer, a repeat customer a weekly customer. Absolute joke of a takeaway. Save your time and money. Go elsewhere JOKERS USELESS INCOMPETENT

Is this place taking the p!ss. Pizza Palace! You used to be okay. Ordered some chips and cheese tonight and doner meat. Where the f 8s the cheese! Minimal cheese. Like a tiny sprinkle! £4.59 for some chips amd cheese with no cheese! Doner meat was okay! I won't be ordering again! I can get same amount of tasty chips and two chicken burgers for less than what i have payed for your cheese and chips with f all cheese! I used to like you guys! You used to be good and cheap and cheerful. Now you are just taking the p!ss!

Waited nearly 2 hours for food which arrived cold. I refused it from the driver to which I was swore at. Disgusting service. Would not recommend. Rang to complain after using them several times to which my number was blocked. RUDE

The chicken wrap was just thrown together and fell apart as soon as you picked it up and half the chocolate fudge cake was gone 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Beautiful food. nice and hot, delivery driver very friendly and on time. Only issue was i never received the bottle of pepsi however i can live without as it was the food i wanted! Will definitely order again as its always my go to for a delicious takeaway. Thankyou pizza palace!

Unfortunately one of the pizzas ordered was wrong so called to get the correct one redelivered but they got it wrong a second time. Didn’t bother contacting again as it would’ve come too late for my daughter to be able to eat it. This is the second time this has happened so am losing faith in them now

Food is usally really good, never had any complaints with that but it is always late. Every time i order it says 35-45minutes but always takes around 1hr -1hr 45mins

Absolute rubbish... I always ordered and was great hot food now, cold leftovers.

Food quality wasn't the best compared to other pizzas in the area there wasn't enough pepperoni on our pizza to a point not all the slices had one. We asked for Lilt and they sent sprite. I understand they have probably ran out but they could of let us know so we could of picked our replacement. I rang up to ask for a receipt to be added and was promised it would be ... this wasn't added so I now have no way of claiming back. Overall not a great experience!

Ordered a pizza from here many a times and have always been fantastic. Today there was an accident which meant the Delivery time was going to be an hour later as the driver couldn't get to me. They called and offered to make me another pizza in a few hours time when the road has opened up again or a refund, despite them having already made a pizza. Sadly this time I had to cancel but this shows that they go above and beyond and it's very appreciated.

I got about 6 prawns on my jacket potato but it tasted nice. Pizzas were nice.

Ordered from here for the longest of times. Chicken came plain no 'flavourings' and no spice. Now it comes spiced and unpleasant. Rang to sort this issue as I thought they'd be of help as we are of regular custom to them. Quite patronising and said no issue with the chicken and they don't find a problem with the 'unstated' flavoured chicken. Quite disappointed and this experience has impacted my hundreds of good times I've ordered from here. Hope this gets fixed in the future when I decide to order again.

Food was lovely as usually unfortunately the food was marked as delivered in the slotted time but hadn’t received the delivery, contacted the restaurant who said it would be another’s ten minutes,deliver 15 minutes later no apology from the driver and was clearly very rushed would have liked a courtesy call and the right information about delivery to be reported on the app thank you

Delivery time got changed from 6.30 to 7pm for a simple order. No explanation! Gave them an hours notice as well. Usually very good.

Love this place decent pizza always buy 1 get 1 free so great price use once a month or more

nice quick delivery but did send a wrong pizza, ordered a chicken supreme and got chick house - thankfully was able to let my daughter eat my pizza instead so didnt bother ringing up to complain. Just make sure to send right ones next please

Ok pizza… something different. Has a homemade taste and feel. Good toppings. Something different to the Dominoes. Chips weren’t great. They were warm but really chewy as if they had been refried. Good delivery!

Took nearly 2 hours for our food to arrive, phone after a hour and 15 mins to be told the order was with the driver 30 mins later still no food and then it arrived and was cold, and the cheesy garlic bread was so over powering it was awful

The guy turned up early and I didn’t get the we are out for delivery text until he got to our house. Not usually a big deal but I was at a friends house round the corner, so tried to time leaving with arriving for the delivery slot. I ordered chips but they didn’t include them, so I just had a plate of meat and salad. Tried to call but they didn’t answer. I’ll be popping by for my refund
