Pizza Max in Milton Keynes

Do not buy from this company, paid and ordered, didn't show up and I now just called the next day and they are refusing to give me money back for an order I didn't receive. Shocking service, do no order from here, when calling for a answer as to why got nothing but rude service.

ordered onlne at 3:17, call 35 minutes afterwards, they hadnt even seen my order. Said it would now be a further 30 minutes. Sadly I had to cancel the order in which they took payment immeditaley but think they can hold onto my money for 5 days before I see a refund... ridiculous and just scamming people of their money.

Update: Used twice recently. Items forgot both times. Both times someone got food poisoning. Prior to being taken over the place became horrific. Since then I rated them until lately. After receiving several orders with things wrong/missing, tonight was the final straw of it happening, so I finally called them about. Although they did replace the order (only because I brought it up), its just become very common now. Massively unreliable. Edit: so after giving it several more tries. All but two of the deliveries were right. Tonight after waiting 50 mins I called to be told the delivery driver has just arrived (so it hadn't even left them). Honestly, the place is now just as bad as it used to be. Doubt we'll be ordering any more. Second edit: if I could give minus figures I would. Now 20 mins since calling. Well over an hour since ordering. Still no food. Won't be ordering any more. Terrible service. Third edit: after nearly an hour and 20 mins for 4 pieces of chicken and some chips. It arrived with a bottle of seven up and a sauce extra. However one piece of chicken was not much bigger than my middle finger genuinely disgusted at the place. Poor food, poor service, delivery times a joke. One lost customer.

Paid over £22 for a burger,onion rings,jalapeño cream cheese bites and a bottle of coke. Food was only just warm. under cooked and tasteless. Over priced frozen food that you could do better yourself for £5 from Iceland! £4.50 Delivery charge for 3 miles travel!

After a bad experience (see below) we spoke to the restaurant and reordered, they did not dissapoint! Food was absolutely delicious so it seems unfair to leave my negative review still sitting here without an update. Thank you,we will definitely be back! Usually have amazing food from here but unfortunately our last meal arrived cold and tasted stale. I emailed them and received no reply so I commented on their Facebook post and found out I was not the only one disappointed with their food recently, but instead of contacting us our comments were all deleted. Maybe concentrate on your loyal regular customers instead of advertising daily on Facebook for new ones?

I had cheesey chips .Chips cold very hard im guessing they had been cooked a few times.Cheese was a melted solid over top .

This is a pizza takeaway. You don’t go for the atmosphere! You go go to get good pizza. It is good pizza. Word of warning though, if you pre order, don’t be surprised if one of your pizzas is cold because they made it early & left it sitting waiting for the rest of the order, (which was 15 mins later than the requested pick up time!)

Pretty disappointing unfortunately. "All salad" in a burger consisted of only red cabbage and lettuce. Overpriced.

Phoned for order at 9.30 and told no more orders. Previously had a bad on and thought it was a one of the forgot a kebab and sauce thought it was an accident but after tonights refusing order clearly bad service

Kebab came separately from the salad and sauce. (Which is new thing for me. Must be a northern thing, like the no squatting on the toilet signs at the campsite. I've never been further north than Basingstoke) but was very satisfactory after a long day cycle touring and a few beers down the pub. Pizza was fantastic, nice and moist dough and yet crispy. Well done chaps, you will have a guilt free sleep tonight.. the young man behind the counter was first class. Well mannered and polite. A true example of how to uphold the best type of customer service.

Basic pizzas, not a lot of topping. Either pay more for extra topping or accept as is.

A few weeks ago, I ordered a delivery kebab, which arrived with no salad or sauce. I mentioned this last night when I placed another delivery. The bag the order arrived in was soggy and could not hold the contents. The combo kebab and meat pizza both needed heating up. My daughter commented that the meat on the pizza was 'squishy'. My kebab had no sauce again and whilst the accompanying salad was limited, it was better than the green salad (I requested no onions) and it was a small container of iceberg lettuce, and 3 slices each of tomato and cucumber. It's definitely not worth £3! I rang to share my dissatisfaction, having spent £34 and was told the third time would be better!!!! Poor food, incomplete order, needed heating, and poor customer service.

Telephone order 6.20 staff confirmed order will take 30-40 minutes till delivery, reasonable considering it was Friday night and they were busy. 7.00 - rang to enquire how much longer “I’m so sorry we are very short staffed and I can only apologies for the lateness…I’m new here, only my second day and we have been very busy” Me: I appreciate your busy but the guy who took the order should have just specified the correct wait time. How much longer will it be? Has it left the shop yet?” Staff: “I’ve just taken another load of boxes out to the delivery guy so as your in Olney it should be another ten minutes” 8.00 …..8.10….delivery guy turns up, obviously rushed off his feet, apologies for keeping me waiting Shut the door opened my delivery Chicken Shish kebab …. Chicken pizza with extra chicken and two lots of chips Complaint- no salad at all on my kebab Chips were Luke warm so inedible and no sign of extra chicken on the pizza

Pizza is nothing special but it's ok. Delivery is very poor. The first time I ordered, the guy forgot the drink. I ordered for a football match with friends to watch on TV, he said he would come back with the drinks, he never came back. The second time, the guy forgot the drink again and said "oh sorry, next time". Needless to say there won't be a next time.

We had pizza from this plce its was really nice and tasty. Delivered on time. Highly recommended. We will be order again!

We love Pizza Max, they have a big viriaty that helps with fussy esters. The food is always fresh.

Positive is the delivery was quick and always friendly. Not happy that the chips were cold, soggy and greasy. Don't appreciate having to create dishes to wash after ordering a takeaway but chips were inedible otherwise. I also left instructions for pittas and meat to be separate, but the meat was in the pitta when it arrived.

Lovely friendly team, food was delicious and hot, will be back.

Used to be good but tonight our order turned up without sauces and salad that we ordered and paid for and the portions have pretty much halved since our last order. £18 for a Mac combo and chips which used to feed 2 easily now only enough for 1 person at a push. Really poor won’t order again and will go back to Newport Kebab.

Such a shame that the donner meat was undercooked yet again, the pitta bread was split in all three boxes & where they had put the box of salad in the bag on the side, all the liquid from the red cabbage had gone everywhere and leaked through the bag at the bottom & went everywhere! Not impressed. The chips weren't great either, not sure what's going on, but after another unsuccessful trip we won't be returning in a hurry. 4/10 from us as the staff are lovely!

First time I ordered the pizza arrived lukewarm. Ok. Maybe the driver had too many orders. Gave it another chance, and the driver took a massive detour and then claimed they couldn't reach my address. I'm sure others have a good experience, but I won't risk ordering from them again. Guess it's easier when you're the only game in town.

Ordered tonight, very disappointed by the food, food was stone cold and hardly any sauce in the burgers. Delivery driver said he would return with change owed but never arrived. Won’t be using again

Ive Never had a bad meal or experience at Pizza Max and tonight is no different. Staff are friendly, food its always hot, cooked well and full of flavour! We are lucky to have a great local establishment on our doorstep and I would highly recommend Pizza Max to everyone!

Paid £26 for 2 pizzas , a tub of Ben & Jerry's all delivered to our campsite . Food was good but overpriced

We normally have a pizza or burger from Pizza Max & we really enjoyed them. But we thought we'd try something different, donner meat & chips, I wasn't overly impressed & kind of wish I'd stuck to what we know. The chips weren't as good as they normally are, a bit oily which is something I haven't come across before with their chips & the meat was lacking a bit of flavour. We will return but will be sticking to our usual.

Today i ordered a meat feast the person kept walking away when we were talking also they delivered us a pepperoni pizza its nice but i wanted a meat feast i dont know who the girl is but she wouldn't listen

Hot dog didn't have fried onions tomato sauce and mustard as stated in the menu. Cold chips. What started really well is slipping, shame we might have to look elsewhere now as the competition although small is on par if not better. Lost the lasagna of the menu which was nice also.

Usually pretty good. Have been a loyal customer for 10 years. New owners as of 2021 are a lot less reliable. E.G. garlic pizza bread is garlic mayo on a pizza base.

For years, I have given this place a wide berth. Never understood how MK Council could have awarded it a 5 star rating and even more so when I had to visit it as a rep. Disgusting was not a strong enough word and despite a new owner, I never ventured near the place until yesterday when the fish and chip shop was closed. Much against my will, we decided to give it a try. Entering the shop was a revelation. Bright, perfectly clean, a buzz of staff working their socks off and clearly business was booming. We had a Spicy Beef & Pepperoni along with a Chicken with sweetcorn with a portion of chips. Prices were good, the service excellent and when we got them home, the two pizzas more than fed 4 of us. Long time since I have seen such a transformation and without doubt, this is now on my list for pizza fare. I noticed a Kebab rotisserie in the back and was amazed - no foul smell (which can't be said for the other outlet in town that does kebabs). So perhaps next visit will see me trying that. Congratulations to the new owner - you really have transformed this place and I suspect truly justify a 5 star rating.

Things have drastically gone down hill from my original review. Sadly since being taken over we have had multiple issues on multiple orders (food missing, drinks missing - long wait for the missing items to be delivered). To be fair, the food is good (apart from the chips which are oily)

This was our first time ordering since Pizza max was taken over by new owners. Our order was large, the lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful, the food arrived on time, was lovely and hot, everything was correct and it was absolutely delicious. The driver was also lovely. Highly recommended and we will certainly be ordering again .

Good pizza but needs stronger cheeses, the pepperoni was really bland.

Absolutely vile… extremely disappointed. Been a pizza max customer since 2000, this is far the worse we’ve had. Chilli sauce tastes like vinegar. Pizza thick and stodgy can use as a doorstop. Chips overcooked and greasy. Garlic bread again thick and stodgy. This is my first ever worse review I’ve ever left and I actually feel guilty about leaving this…. Sorry but I know it’s new management but you have a lot to learn… not the cheapest of places either £30 for a pizza, garlic bread, chips and bottle of coke!

Unfortunately, this is not the place for us. We have ordered takeaway on 3 occasions since the new ownership. Order 1 - forgot my meal but delivered the rest of my families (called up after discovering and the food was delivered 35 mins later) Order 2 - forgot our chips Order 3 (last night) - forgot to deliver the can we ordered and children’s fruit shoots for their meal. (called and these were delivered 15 mins later). I understand they are likely busy and errors can occur but 3/3 is just poor and will sadly stop us ever using this local business again.

Excellent service! And even tastier food! Under new management and loving the new menu it was really needed around here. We have had a lot of deliveries since been open, and have not been disappointed! Always arrived before the stated time and food really hot. The kebabs were amazing, the pizzas are lovely and fresh and some really good deals, my kids are loving the burgers and chicken nuggets and the cheesy chips always go down a treat! Really enjoying the food and hope to try alot more from the menu soon! Thank you keep up the good work 👍🏻😀

Visited this evening, pleasantly surprised, New owners, New menu, fresh and clean! I had a pizza which was delicious, the owner makes fresh dough daily on the premises. My wife had chicken shish which was cooked to perfection on a charcoal grill which she really enjoyed with a selection of fresh salad and tasty garlic sauce. Would highly recommend this great takeaway. Will definitely visit again soon.

Manager extremely abrupt......last week he agreed to replace our complete order as it was awful, when I called and tried to redeem this he said I had to pay £3.50 towards it, it’s not money that’s the issue it’s the fact he went back on his word, I will not buy from them again....such a shame as delivery guy was so nice

Warm coke, completely melted ice cream, kids nuggets and chips was so overcooked it resembled rubber, the most basic and dry kebab I have ever had, cardboard dry death of a pizza. Not cheap either but the food is possibly the worst I have ever had. First and last time using you guys. Awful.

I’ve been going her for years now and always get pizza and chips and somwtim s garlic bread and I LOVE IT!!!! I can be very fussy with pizzas and the only other place I love is dominos but if I had to choose between the two it would be pizza max!! I know the owner now from going there so many years and he is really nice and they work really hard there!!! I always recommend this place and always look forward to my Friday night treats from there!!

Ordered some starters and pizzas for a Friday treat. Garlic bread was desperately thin yet soggy, chicken nuggets tasted really cheap. Garlic mushrooms were fine. However the pizza was edible, really really thin dough which was undercooked, looking at it we wondered if it the dough hadn’t been proven? Anyway, none of us could eat it, we packed them back up and called to tell them. They were really nice, apologised and sent us new ones BUT they were worse! The 2nd star is for effort. Toast for dinner it is.

I see them scratch their ass with the knife he cuts his salad.They smoke in store and cuts their nails and touches food before washing his hands and they apparently pays his staff 5 ph and well dodgy.I can cook much better kebab but people have no choice in olney

When neither myself nor my wife feel like cooking we phone Pizza Max and collect our favourite Chicago pizza within 20 minutes take it home and enjoy with a bottle of red wine

Ordered from here twice now turned up well before they said and was amazing! Really happy with the food if you want a nice cheaper take away this is the one to go for!

Used to order from here quite a lot but they must have changed suppliers as their burgers are no longer the same and the donna pizza is not what I remember. Chips and mozeralla dippers are good though for fast food!

En la primera ocasión, ordenados 12" pan de ajo que poco a y casi se rompió mi diente. Era incomible! La segunda ocasión, en realidad nos dijeron persona por teléfono lo malo que era anteriormente, no se disculpó. .. Cuando llegamos, mitad era bien la otra mitad rock duro. se negó la entrega y el pago. Simplemente del pan de ajo. Llamado para informarles y él fue grosero y otra vez no ofrecen de una disculpa. Les dije, no pedir de ellos de nuevo ... han sido un cliente durante muchos años y que no me molestó un poco acerca de perder mi a medida. asquerosa.

Multiple pizzas delivered, all with under cooked bases and the boxes had clearly been tipped up on the journey as they had all lost their toppings in the boxes and two had folded over on themselves. So awful, one inedible and one only ate the crust.

Typical, great pizza place - great, greasy food and friendly, welcoming staff! A must when you've got a hangover too! They do a big variety of pizzas too, which is always good. Recommended!

Vivimos a tan sólo unos minutos de distancia, la pizza está listo en 15/20 minutos y estamos dispuestos a sentarse con la pizza, ensalada y una botella de vino tinto y pasar una noche perezoso

necesitamos re-combustible en un viaje desde Londres hasta algunos Northants y cometimos el error de llamando por adelantado para recoger. Nos pidió un pan de ajo y una 12" pepperoni fina corteza. El pan de ajo era como un cruce entre una espesa pancake y una enorme tienda Crumpet grasienta ultra pero no muy ajo. Nos costó parada la pizza de puertas corredizas fuera de la caja, tan tan grasiento! no pedir otra vez.

Pizza Max es un sitio de comida rápida fiable en Olney, si la comida rápida es lo que necesita. No está mal, no es comida Michelin ( ! ), pero el servicio de entrega de lo que ofrecen es muy bueno. Max Burger especial es uno de los lugares preferidos (no para los vegetarianos! ), y el chili salsa tiene una buena patada, así como un poco de sabor minty. Hay una buena selección de pizzas, kebabs y ofrendas altos de colesterol de satisfacer esos días donde pedir el llevar entrega de preferencia para cocinar una comida casera (y todos tenemos esos días! ).

Solía ser genial, pero comenzó a usar carne realmente barato y menos. Es una pena, porque la gente de la zona como calidad y dispuestos a pagar un poco más por ella.
