Pizza King in Chelmsford

Order arrived over 20 minutes late, cold and damaged. Called restaurant who said replacement would be sent within half hour. 2.5 hours after initial order, still not arrived and restaurant declined to refund.

Could you please advise the delivery drivers in future that they need to press 21 on the keypad to the left of the front door and press call, then I can let them in remotely. All the best. Paul

The food was old, cold and overcooked. I called the restaurant and they told me that they’re gonna send me another order but they didn’t and they dont answer the phone anymore!

Never arrived, marked as delivered, tried to call and they never answered

Disappointing. Hard over cooked lamb pieces. Dried up, old salad and not much of it. One of the most disappointing kebabs I’ve ever had. Will not be ordering from here again 😕

Rude and unprofessional. Ordered on just eat at 5.20pm and still waiting at 7pm. Was told the driver was on their way expected at 6.10-6.30pm, just called and was simply asked ‘postcode’. Then…’‘Driver is on the way mate, we’re really busy mate’ and they hung up. I worked at dominoes when I was a teenager and would never have spoken to a customer like that, couldn’t even get a word in - rude and unhelpful Won’t be using again

The food turned up an hour late and wasn’t great. Charged over £3 for rice which was a few grains in some old plastic tub. There was no difference between large and medium kebabs even tho I paid more. Called the restaurant to ask where the food was and couldn’t get a word in edgeways.

I love seafood pizzas and I have been looking for a decent quality takeaway for a while, since moving to Chelmsford. I have finally found one and their seafood pizza is fabulous, especially with a stuffed crust. Well done. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Rang up informed it will be a further 20 mi s; after a further 30 mins rang again, informed busy and deliverrd to wrong house, queried and fhen told didnt mean that. Assured be with me in 15 mins - finally delivered 2 hours and 20 mins late and freez

Atmosphere a 5 - it’s a takeaway, what can you say on the atmosphere. But the staff service and the food is absolutely banging - not your average diner meat!! Had a mixed doner wrap and it was absolutely banging!!

Great place to order. Always on time and fresh. The guys inside are lovely. Deliveries are always great especially by Sravan. The manager Udhay is also very accommodating when we come to the shop.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Pizza King! The pizza looked brilliant, tasted delicious, and was everything I hoped for. another company where pure greed has got the better of them. my order went from £52 a few days ago to £68 today. the food is ok but not worth the new asking price so I'll now go somewhere more affordable. which is a shame as I would of gave them 5 stars before.

Genuinely the best pizza shop in Chelmsford. Always fresh and on time and tastes first class. Customer service is amazing. Vinay makes the best pizza around. Highly recommended.

hi all food was brilliant but you guys sent mozzarella dippers that we don't like instead of jalapenos cream cheese poppers

Lots of items missing, delivery driver was supposed to come back with them but never did. Pizza was cold on arrival, so not as very good experience all round.

This place always has a speedy delivery and the food is always delicious and piping hot!! Like fresh out the oven hot! One of my favourite places to order from in Chelmsford.

Been using this restaurant for years now and it’s still quality food always red hot great as t ingredients and superb delivery and service

I tried to call restraint and change my delivery adress as realised it was wrong and got no answer now someone else has my food. Food was also handed over without code being given . Very unhappy

Pizza arrived 20 mins early great!, food was relatively nice, although extortionately expensive for an 11” pizza.

‘Large’ chicken shish kebab was more like a small chicken sub sandwich, hardly any chicken and a tiny bit of salad. Poor value and quality - won’t be ordering here again.

Nothing against driver. Food however, chips and nuggets were soggy and really not enjoyable. I know I ordered late but they shouldn’t be so soggy regardless the time. Should’ve been separated at least. Wings were dry as a bone, looks like they were just re - fried to heat up, not very good either. Only thing thing about the wings was the spice. Only enjoyable part of this meal was my wrap.

Went in this eve got wraps jalepeno cheese wings n nuggets food was lush nuggets amazing, wraps huge and fresh service is lovely very friendly and polite, very clean establishment, deffo reccomend and gotta try their potao skins soon

Best late night take away had in many years. Become my stop when in Chelmesford after a few beers. Ticks the boxes of quanity and quality - Get proper pieces of chicken and well seasoned too. Service is always good and happy to have a chat and a joke with you as can be seen in the photo. Also have a huge menu!
