Cookies and Cones Chelmsford in Chelmsford

Came here at 4pm to get some food but the girl on the counter aggressively said we are closing. I come back 15 mins later and see the place is still opened, serving customers. Never coming here again to this awful customer service. Good luck to the owner if they think they are going to make money with this kind of staff representing their brand

i got served by a girl called juliana and she was the sweetest girl ever, she made cookie dough and it was amazing!!!!

Really enjoyed the way you order the cookie dough (being able to choose base, topping, ice cream and sauce). Got 2 cookie doughs and 2 cookie cups. The cookie dough was COVERED in toppings which I thought was great. Only criticism is the milky bar ice cream was basically just frozen cream with a small amount of white chocolate sauce on top. Maybe pieces of milky bar through the ice cream would improve it.

I would like to leave a wonderful review for imola, she was a very generous and helpful lady that provided me and my family with a lovely service despite it being near closing time and she gave us an amazing service to remember improving our view on this dessert shop. We will definitely be back again!

Ice cream was really really really good, and a nice size scoop so you don't get ripped off. Would definitely go back to try some of their other food.

We bought the 4 for £15 cookie cups which are just amazing! We went around 9 ish in the evening, so not a lot left over but still great choices! There was a small line and an Uber Eats driver waiting, but we didn't mind; there was only one girl in the shop (this was on 14.07.24), and despite doing everything by herself, her customer service skills were still good! The Uber Eats notification was going off constantly too. She greeted everyone, got their orders to them quickly and was friendly (she had long, brown hair). Good customer service and delicious food

The staff here are incredible so friendly and accommodating Miaha and Vanessa were so friendly and they descent a pay rise for what they do I would highly recommend this place I hope this reach the area managers

Yummers! We loved our ice cream! Between the 3 of us we got mint choc chip, rum and raisin, and biscoff flavours and we all enjoyed them very much. Nice ladies working the shop, and wow they make everything fresh from scratch! PS you have to try choc dipped cone!

Rude staff. Awful girl with an attitude that STINKS, I walked in smiled she glared at me. Clearly upset about something. She served me, we had 1 scoop of Ice-cream in a pot, I asked her to remove a piece that was falling off the side she flicked it off with the scoop. My husband had already paid and she tried to stop us by raising her voice asking if we’d paid we informed her we had, she was clearly upset with us. I smiled and laughed at my husband She mocked me and put on a fake laugh and said ‘Yeah really funny ain’t it’ What is funny is you hun! You, working with the general public! have a day off!

No straws for milkshakes, delivery took 1 hour

It was a good place! I got a scoop of strawberry cheesecake and a scoop of their chocolate! The strawberry cheesecake was delicious! Yet their chocolate ice cream tasted more of ice and flavouring than ice cream. The staff were nice, overall a fine place!

Have started bringing my 2 young daughters here for an ice cream while I have a coffee and work on my laptop. The gentleman who I believe to be the manager is amazing with my daughters as they played around while I worked not treating them like they were a nuisance and spoke to them and laughed with them. Amazing service and great place will carry on visiting as the girls love it!

Very slow delivery. Cookies themselves very sickly. I get everyone has different taste in treats but these were not for me

Visited the Chelmsford cookies and cones for a sweet treat! Was so impressed with the range of snacks and wanted to order everything on the menu!! Can’t wait to go back and try something else… also very happy with the fact I could get myself a pineapple Fanta to go with my waffle😍

Tried to visit them after my just eat order wasn’t being attended to but there was a note on the door that they’ve been repossessed by the landlord. Atleast they should’ve change their google page to temporarily closed. Wasted my time going there & just disgusting all round

Nearly 2 hours to have my order delivered by the time it got here the warm cookie dough was absolutely freezing

The cookie bars are way too sweet and the shakes are good but honestly such a scam: you are paying 5 quid for a "regular"which is the same size as a Costa small. Rip. Off. You're better off at Kaspas, who have bigger "regular" sizes. Honestly if you want a shake just make it yourself at home, I've seen them make it; it's just vanilla ice cream, milk, and the desired chocolate bar.

Wrong cookies on ice cream sandwich. Ice cream melted in the sandwich so it was just two cookies. The sundae had melted too.

I want a full refund as I was given the wrong order then got a note saying run out of milk chocolate cookie dough . Full refund please I didn't ask for what they gave me

Not sure why it took a hour to produce a dessert,most likely a to try and defrost the dessert i ordered,tasted old and like it had been made melted then refrozen. No taste at all,lots of ice particles in the ice cream hopefully I won’t get the runs tomorrow. My son said his cookie was ok better then his tasteless milkshake.Mixed up ice cream and chocolate. Definitely worth paying extra for a kaspas. Lesson learned. Will be asking for a refund. Not happy

Absolutely shocking customer service, nobody even acknowledges you when you enter the place. The staff really don’t have any people skills. Shop looks like it could do with a good scrub, counter tops sticky and marked all over, dirty floor & the small seating area full of crumbs. For a newish store the place looks run down and personally for it being day time and mid week there isn’t really any excuse. Won’t be returning.

I have not received my order! The store called me to let me know the waffle machine was broken and to offer an alternative. He then informed me the driver walked out so he was unable to cancel my order from their end. I’m assuming the driver has processed the order so he still gets paid!

I didn’t receive my milkshake

Useless driver was over 20 minutes late, & then proceeded to say he’d delivered my order somewhere else & tried to give me theirs!?! Seeing as I ordered dessert, I didn’t want the noodles he was trying to fob off on me!! He then returned a further 20 minutes later, to give me half of my order(the rest being eaten by either him or where he’d left it before I guess) which was all melted & inedible. Needless to say I won’t be ordering from here again

Ordered 2 mint choc chip & 1 cookies & cream with chocolate curls. Got no mint choc chip - was all cookies & cream - & no chocolate curls. Other 1 was supposed 2 b 2 malted yas & salted caramel. Was all salted caramel, no Maltes ya. Didn’t ask for chocolate curls but got them instead of on other one. Asked for crunchie bits. Got none. Asked for cream. Got none. Asked for wafer. Got none! How??

Missing part of my sundae order

Rubbish, ordered two milkshakes and a waffle- 1 milkshake missing.

Missing one of the sundae filling no strawberries and cannot see where to complain

Awful. They obviously ran out of what I ordered so sent me a random selection of what they had left. Didn’t answer their phone despite ringing multiple times. Biscuit on one of the donuts was stale.

Drink order was wrong but otherwise great!

Missing half the order, no one picking up the phone to query this. Just eat will process my refund which is great but poor customer service with trying to get through to the phones.

Called me to inform they didn't have certain items in our order but had come up with alternatives and wanted to check this was okay. Excellent service and food was incredible!!!

The cookie dough was cold and i got chocolate hazelnut sauce instead of normal chocolate therefore couldn’t eat it.

The best deserts in town, amazing amount of choice, always so hard to pick what to have.

Didn’t receive my items i ordered

Cold the driver drove 20 min past my house I could see him on my maps then go back into town for another 20 min then came back , the cookie dough has gone cold where it has been so long and the ice cream has melted and inedible as it’s like thin milk. Very unhappy, driver very rude and now going to have to put the food in the bin.

I placed an order for delivery for a waffle with coconut ice cream but was sent mango instead which I do not like. I was not informed of this before delivery.

Food and drink were great, shame driver stored drink on its side so it leaked over everything...

Everything I've tried has been delicious. The guy in there is brilliant, always chatty and welcoming. Our go to every time we're in Chelmsford!

Second time ordering from here, first I ordered 4 items for a birthday treat and only 1 turned up 2 hours later they would not send out the missing items or refund as was done through app was told they would add the missing items onto my next order, ordered again this evening waited nearly 2 hours again for the order it was cold and no extra items that I was told I would receive with my order.

Cookies are fantastic and service is so friendly. Will continue to go here whenever I’m working in the office :)

Few things weren't available and they forgotbthebwhipped cream. All very tasty though.

Quality of desserts are very good, the only down side is both times I have ordered from here I have either not received my full order or I have received the wrong items.

Haven't received my order!!! was meant to be delivered at 21:30 its now 22:02 and its not here driver was last showing he was 14 minutes away on the map i live 3 minutes away???

Very disappointing the last few times of ordering the sundaes have been missing items and smaller and smaller half empty containers.

Popped in this afternoon, excellent service and walked out with more than I probably should of haha!

Have ordered from here a few times each time has been amazing this is by far the best dessert place in Chelmsford. Such good value for money and tastes delicious the build your own sundae option is the best they have ALL the best flavours!

Miss ’The store manager’(refused to tell me her name) was absolutely vile.After making a waffle, she asked me to choose a sauce and topping non of which she she had in stock.Then proceeded to get angry with me when I told her I no longer wanted a plain waffle and vanilla ice cream.she had a bad attitude the whole time and rolled her eyes at me and had an overall nonchalant attitude.I have been twice before and everyone was lovely, ‘miss store manager’ was clearly having a rough day and decided to take it out on me and the waffles.

The delivery person said i was delivered and it wasn’t!

Vanilla gelato was missing as part of the order.

The food is lovely, however the staff were really unfriendly. Made us feel unwelcome the moment we walked in and were trying to hurry us to leave. It made me feel embarrassed to be there... Disappointed as I was looking forward to going.

Such amazing treats. So many yummy things to choose from, the best dessert/ bakery by far. My favourite are the brownies and of course cookies.
