Slow delivery. Burgers sent with wrong sauces, greasy pizzas, soggy chips that were somehow also dry?! dry nuggets, kebabs have more salad than meat.

Open till 2am,phone your order after one to beat the rush, chicken kebab and salad, mayo and chilli sauce, you'll microwave the rest of it for breakfast

have recieved a pizza from PROPER PIZZA KEBAB. 33 commercial street, Camborne, TR148jx and I have multiple problems firstly I asked for the pizza to be well done which to be fair was well done the main issue is the pizza has been sat in a car not in a hot food bag for so long that it is stone cold but the fact the 2 people who delivered were smoking cannabis in the car is utterly disgusting that I will not be touching this food I waited over an hour for. I suggest that ‘food hub’ need to be in contact with this pizza company and have a serious word before they carry on upsetting customers and causing problems. I am now writing in issue of a full refund and honestly compensation before food hygiene standards get a call which is what I believe food hub should be doing anyway. I will never order food from “proper pizza kebab” ever again and I am utterly disgusted, if I could give a review they would not even achieve 1 star. Poor quality of food and disgusting customer service. Picture of price attached which I am honestly expecting back in full as a bare minimum.

Good food and quickly delivered

If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I would. Staff was really nice and food was great. Service was quick and easy. I only ordered some large chips today (I did go the other day). They were a bit expensive (3.50 for chips, pound extra for large chips) but they tasted really good. People there were really nice and respectful. This place is underrated and deserves more people to go to it. 100/10.

Just what I expected really, I’ve ordered from them before and it was good, which is why I ordered again, and again, I enjoyed it, so, I’ll probably order from them again in the future.

I order from them regularly and they always deliver earlier than the initial stated time. The pizzas are great. They are cooked well with good portions of fillers. Normally go for Margherita for my daughters and a meaty one for myself. Deliverers are friendly and polite.

My girlfriend and I absolutely love this takeaway place! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a warm atmosphere that made us feel right at home. delivery took 2 and a half hours from order. not acceptable. delivery guy was great though, very friendly and apologetic. pizza was nice, 1st Doner Kebab I've ever ordered which hasn't come with salad!! expensive !! won't be bothering again.....

Food was okay, nothing special… just what you’d expect for the price. Delivery guy forgot our chips and went straight back to takeaway to get them with no issue. Food was delivered hot and on time, and cooked well. Not burnt or undercooked.

Fantastic burger and chips from here.the best I've had in a long time,had chicken strips too they are really nice,coating not too spicey and proper chicken too,chips are brilliant. Everything delivered hot and on time.very happy customer.will definitely recommend.

Ordered a chicken shish and salad this evening. Was fantastic. Really delicious, probably one of best shish. Chicken was succulent and the salad combo really refreshing. Will be back.

comically bad food, never again

Donner meat was really really dry and a tiny bit of ketchup on like they had run out?! Rest of food was ok. I’m sure other food they make is fine but my advice would be to avoid the donner completely!

Lovely food. The margarita pizza was huge l- tasted lovely and was piping hot on arrival !The cheese burger went down a treat and was delicious the sausage was also nice and tasty and the CHIPPPPS yum 🍟 Will be ordering from you again for sure ! Thank you

Cheesy chips were cold and the pitta bread on the wrap was really tough, The kebab meat in the wrap was also really dry.. All in all was very disappointing

Ordered a kebab for tea from here. It was a bit on the expensive side just looking at the menu. But once I got the food you could tell why it was more expensive. It is because they use quality ingredients. Because of that it had the best flavour I have tasted in a long time. This is not your normal kebab shop, this is top quality food.

Always use these guys. Never ever had a bad meal. His Kofte are best in Camborne. And his homemade Naan is nice aswell. He is very generous with portions and kind & friendly. Always welcomes us with a smile. I would recommend 24/7 without hesitation. Especially kofte combo ( MINT IS NEEDED MY FRIEND) lol lol

Avoid. Waited 2 hours for delivery and was told 45 minutes. When it eventually arrived the pizza was burnt, chips and chicken cold, dry and flavourless. When I spoke to the owner he initially denied it. Eventually refunding the money but telling me I'm not welcome back. The food matches the owners attitude, terrible, save your money.

That'll be a no from us. An hour late, warm soggy food. Dessert topping was all over the top of the box, so no topping on the cake. Delivery driver did apologise for the lateness tho.

Food was delivered over an hour after the LATEST delivery time stated on the page. We called the restaurant to find out what was going on and if we would ever receive it - and upon hearing our address they hung up on us. I tried to call back numerous times but nobody would pick up the phone. I called with my partners phone and they answered immediately and when they realized it was me they kept saying "on the way" over and over again and then hung up. When it arrived it was absolutely disgusting. Everything was soggy and cold and multiple items literally were not what we ordered. Genuinely the most disgusting takeaway I've ever had.

Raw chicken in kebabs, small portion sizes, delivery 20 minutes late after already waiting 45 minutes. Now got food poisoning. Do not recommend at all. Absolutely disgusting

Food was cold and sweated in a carrier bag everything was wet and soggy, paid for a large chicken shish and was small at best, also didn’t receive 1,5l of Pepsi max, definitely won’t eat from hear ever again very poor

We usually order a lot from here but never again, first order arrived quite late food was cold, chips was rock hard and the chicken burger was missing, said they would send one straight away it came over an over later and was unedible, chewy overcooked it was vile!! Won’t ever order again they’ve lost good loyal customers we will also tell all our family and friends not to either as it’s nasty

Do not order from here, I had it delivering on just eat, put in for a refund as order was wrong, ordered again tonight and order was cancelled, rang them and he told me he cancelled my order because they did it wrong but I put in a claim against them, avoid at all costs put the phone down on me

Really good pizzas. I ordered a Margherita pizza for my fussy daughters and a spicy meat feast for myself. All of the pizzas were eaten and enjoyed.

Don't waste your time ordering here, placed a big order and waited until uber eats expected delivery time then rang and they told us they couldn't be bothered to make the order. Kept on going back on their word talking about how they tried to deliver to my location and then changing their mind that they never tried delivering it (we have dogs that would of barked if they heard people plus multiple people going outside regularly). Also claimed they rang me but absolutely did not. the other reviews of the terrible food plus terrible customer service should be enough to put you off of ordering from here.

they were friendly enough giggling and joking always nice to see unfrotunatly my partner has had really bad food poisoning since having food from there last friday. been to the doctors twice 100% food poisoning lost a weeks worth of wages because of this also noticed the staff was not using PPE such as gloves wile handaling the food.

Super fast delivery, food arrived quickly, well wrapped and hot! We did have a slight hiccup with our order, we gave them a call and it was all sorted out very professionally and handled very well! We couldn't have asked for more, the food we did have was absolutely fantastic, the burgers are phenomenal some of the best chips I've had from a takeaway for long time. Having actually spoken to someone working there regarding our problem I can really tell they have a passion for the food they create and genuinely wanted to help and correct the minor problem we had! I can't wait to come back for more will definitely be ordering again and trying some new things off the menu. Thanks again for your help and a great meal. 😁

Ordered fried chicken, potato wedges and coleslaw. Chicken was all bone no meat and very overcooked. In fact it was inedible not sure which parts of the chicken I had well it was deep fried chicken bones. The wedges were good but a kids portion and the coleslaw tasted like it had sugar in it. Vial food. The delivery driver seemed nice as did the person I spoke to on the phone that's the only good thing.

Didn't receive fried chicken it was fried chicken bones. Extremely overcooked and hard. Coleslaw tasted as though had sugar in it. Wedges were OK but a tiny portion. Will not order from there again.

Order was over 30 mins late before restaurant changed time, then was another 20 mins late. When contacted restaurant their excuse for being late was traffic - was 8.45 at night on a Tuesday in rural area. Am not impressed with them at all, would not offer part refund for 1hr late and cold food.

Never ordering it again 35 minutes late and when we did eventually get the food it was over cooked. Asked for some money back they said no. It was rubbish and it is funny how when asked how late was your order, you can’t move the time pass 5 minutes.

Absolutely disgusting customer service , ordered food for 2 adults and 4 kids 7pm, 8:30pm I call them to see how long my order will be because kids were hungry , only to be told over the phone by very rude worker that they have cancelled my order I have never experienced anything like this,, that is no way to run a business , stay away from here unless I guess you actually go in shop to get food

Best kebab shop in Cornwall first time I had was after a quite a few cocktails and I can’t say it enough… definitely recommend this place funny guys and very welcoming will Definitely be coming again.

Shocking customer service, placed an order at 18.40 finally arrived at 21.15 no call from restaurant, refused to give money back in full or even partial. Will not be ordering again... poor customer service n the food wasnt all that good either... save your time and money n go else where !!! Or order the day before it may get to u on time but dont hold your breath 😂😂

Shocking, waited almost two hours. Called the restaurant and the staff told me if I wasn’t happy they would just cancel the order however kept telling me at least it would be hot. ( like I expect when ordering food) Staff very very rude and unapologetic. Food wasn’t great either when it did arrive, plastic cheese and a pizza base that looked and tasted like it was from a school canteen. Awful

The food from this place is Amazing, much better than food from the average takeaway. The garlic bread was especially good & piping hot, and the family meal was great value for money. Delivery was a big issue though. We ordered at 6.30ish, and our order was delayed twice before finally showing up as on the way. We're staying at a holiday park, so arranged to meet at the gatehouse. Order showed as delivered, despite not having arrived, so we called and were then told that the food would be with us in 15-20 minutes. We waited out in the rain for 20 minutes, but still no food. The food arrived an hour after it had showed up as delivered in the app, so in total we spent over an hour waiting outside in the rain. Had we been told that the food would be another hour when we initially called, we would have known that we had time to go back to the lodge. We ate dinner very wet and slightly annoyed that the food was so delicious, meaning we had less to complain about. Anyways, the point is that you shouldn't order from here unless you have somewhere dry to wait for your order!
