Pizza Hut Delivery in Chelmsford

Ordered 2 large pizzas, both delivered cold after an hour of time , late by circa 15 minutes. Spoke to the staff and told him that the pizzas are cold and we have to reheat to eat it. He was very rude to say: “nothing wrong in them and he cannot do anything on that issue”. How nasty a customer service by a staff who did not even accept that pizza are not cold and justifying that it came out of oven and were hot. What a level of basic awareness that if delivery is delayed pizza will be cold. Moreover, when asked to give his second name, I received a reply as: “I can’t give you my father’s name”. Gentleman, I was not interested in getting your history but to know second name if there are 2 persons with same name. Rudeness is to the extend that when I told him that will leave this review and will escalate it to next level, he said do whatever you want. Thanks Puzzahut Chelmsford for treating a regular customer and losing as well.

Did a collection today, pizza was really nice, tasty and affordable. One of the best have had. I'm impressed 👏

Incredibly long wait for our delivery. We called twice to be told they got Deliveroo on the job as they are short staffed, we don’t have a problem with. I don’t know if the Deliveroo driver fell off his bike…the presentation of the food definitely looked that way, as well as being luke warm all the food was squashed down one side of the box…didn’t look the most appetising. We normally order from Dominos and I think this probably reminds us why we do. Would probably give this a miss in future.

Ordered at 3.55pm at 10.30pm still no delivery. On app it says was delivered around 20.38pm. It had been saying delivery was on way for nearly 2 hours then said delivered, but didn't arrive. Never gonna use Just eat again. I'm requesting a refund

This store needs closing down. Staff are rude, you can never get through on the phone, and the average delivery time has been between 1 & 2 hours, which is an absolute disgrace. Fed up of receiving cold food, let's face it. It's not cheap these days.

Earlier in your surveys I mentioned that the biggest problem is drivers delivering pizza deliveroo, Uber. They call asking for a postal code which seems to be on the label. Yesterday a courier searched my house with a pizza without a food bag. The pizza was cold. My question is why do these people deliver food if they can't do their job properly.

We ordered 2 pizzas for collection on the 22nd November 2024. We arrived at the time it said to on the app , I was shocked how busy it was, literally queueing out the door ( it is a collection only store ). There were customers there who had been waiting for over an hour. There were at least 7 delivery drivers collecting orders on behalf of various take apps which caused chaos. In the staffs defence, this is a very , very busy place and they clearly can't cope with the demand being the only pizza hut in the area now. Reading some of these reviews upset me really , as it isn't the fault of the staff they were fantastic and trying really hard to please everyone. I've worked in this tough , demanding environment in east London ( different trade ) and I know how hard it is when everyone wants everything at the same time. The manager here was top class I thought when he arrived. We received a free ice cream and my daughter was thrilled. My advice would be before ordering , is if you want a fast delivery or fast collection in busy periods go to another place.

Ordered a pizza at 9:30 and had someone cancel the order on me when it was already meant to be delivered, someone else then delivered my pizza and it was warm at best, had barely any cheese on it and was not up to standard whatsoever. This is the second time I’ve had a problem with this Pizza Hut now and they don’t even bother to answer the phone either. Do not recommend eating from here as you will most likely be disappointed and it’s even harder to try get a refund or even a new pizza when they don’t answer. Shocking

Food was amazing, cooked to perfection. Haven’t had quality food from Pizza Hut like this in a long time. Manager was more than helpful. Will be back!!

I just ordered a large margarita deep pan through just eat. Extremely disappointed with it hardly any cheese possibly the worst pizza I've ever ordered will not be ordering!! They say 25% off pizzas but infact it's not at all as the cheese is non existent!!

Received our order, missing 1 large pizza and given an empty box of garlic bread! When I rang up they were so unhelpful, said they couldn't do anything as they were busy! Awful service, will stick to Dominoes in the future!

Great service, very friendly and accommodating, but even better pizza: crunchy crust, fluffy base, tasty toppings. My wife is lactose intolerant and we struggle to find vegan cheese, but they nailed it.

Ordered a meal for the family for stepsons birthday, brilliant service from the person I spoke to int he phone who took my order, the delivery driver was very clean and professional and very polite when handing over the food. The food arrived within 45 minutes and was hot and very delicious. We all enjoyed it.

The chap who delivered it was very polite. The pizza was ok but was only lukewarm and although I ordered extra of certain toppings it did seem to be lacking, I’ve had pizzas from other companies which are better and a lot cheaper. I did order from Pizza Hut this time as there was a promotion on, even so the price was still quite dear compared to other companies. Overall it was ok I’m just glad it was on offer because I certainly wouldn’t have been happy to pay the full price for it.

They sent Pepsi Max Cherry instead of a normal one, forgot to send fries, pizza toppings were shifted on one side.

If you order for delivery. Whatever time they suggest, Add 1.5, 2 hours to it. Staff on phone dopey. Not interested. Poor experience. Will continue with Dominoes.

We were missing food from our order on delivery. Pizza Hut themselves blamed this on the delivery driver and said there was nothing that could be done. Food that did arrive was stone cold

I've ordered a PIZZA. the delivery guy was beyond rude and unprofessional!!!!!! brought the pizza under this cold weather without any protection by the time open the so called pizza was beyond cold!!!! called the pizza restaurant they response was "nothing to do with us!!!" bare in mind the pizza was bad!! JUST IT make sure you train your staff to learn how to deliver the items...NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pizza is all squished at the edge of the box. The toppings were sticking to the box.

whilst catering for a guide camp (30! kids!) we ordered for collection 18 pizzas. the lovely manager Daniel helped us carry all 18 pizzas to our car and wished us a lovely rest of our camp. service was incredible and we could not fault it

Order came incorrect and also missing items, only to be told they have no drivers and can only get the rest to us in 30mins "as a priority" even though the driver had just left and told us to ring the store. We were told we have to understand that other people are also waiting for their orders and to just eat what we had been given. Very disappointed as only alternative would be a store credit instead of money back on missing food if we were unhappy with this. Very poor service, do not recommend!

The driver went the wrong way? By the time the pizza came it was cold. The restaurant was called and the driver explained he was lots. We have a picture of the map showing he went the wrong way. Food was cold

If someone from Pizza Hut actually reads this I hope you improve the pizza crust more or just bring back the old crust. Please avoid. We ordered pizza at 06:30 and it’s more than one and half hour and several calls but they say that it’s on the way. Such late deliveries. The estimated time to arrive keeps changing. I do not recommend ordering from here.

Ordered pizza from here whilst visiting family. Johnny the driver was very polite and friendly. The pizza was fantastic and the chicken wings were cooked perfectly! Definitely will order again when I visit next!

The pizzas I ordered didn't even go into the oven, let alone into pizza boxes. Took two weeks to be refunded. Systematic problems at this branch. Surprised Pizza Hut hasn't done anything about it.

We phoned up to ask for the garlic seasoning to be put on our pizzas (it should be anyway but the last two times we had ordered it had been missed). Delivery was over an hour and a half late. We drove to the restaurant to pick up our order but was told it was already on its way. Garlic seasoning was missed. Was told we could get a 50% discount on our next order. Today I phoned them to place our next order and was told the card machines get turned off after 10pm so they could not process for us (I wouldn't mind but I had phoned 5 minutes beforehand to see how we could place our order to get our discount and was advised to call and order over the phone 🤔). Disappointing

The order arrived late, incomplete and what did arrive was cold. Very frustrating after waiting so long and there is no way to contact Just Eat to get a refund on what’s missing. Tried calling the restaurant too and no answer! Awful service.

Quite literally the worst Pizza Hut ever. Order said out for delivery but not arrived after an hour. Rung up and told some story about a driver “on the toilet” and told they wouldn’t refund and to contact customer services. Sent me a replacement which turned up cold and completely the wrong pizza, as well as being in a complete state (see picture) Kept getting hung up on, heard staff swear about me on the phone, blame always placed elsewhere, no one genuinely sorry for the service. A delivery driver had to sort it out in the end and admitted how useless the store is. Manager not even there but he’s clearly rubbish based on all the reviews on here. Food turned up 3 hours after ordering it and so did not eat until 10pm. Will never order from here again or Pizza Hut in general. Not the first time I’ve had this kind of experience here. It should be shut down.

Had to order elsewhere called restraunt to cancel they sent it anyway I ordered a Dominos after cancelling and an hour n 15 after this should of been delivered. Dominos turned up just before this turned up and i turned it away after cancelling

Pizza came after two hours and all pieces were broken, the person who delivered called me to ask the address but after delivery we saw that whole pizza was broken and into pieces. I tried calling back but it was declined every time. Kindly refund this order.

Absolutely disgraceful service, pizza half an hour late and one of the two pizzas was flat cold. Called up TO complain. I was courteous the entire time however the MANAGER told me it wasn't his fault and put the phone down on ME!
