Absolute worst Chinese I’ve ever tasted. And the most tiny portions ever in tiny cardboard boxes. Do not recommend. £28 for one small chicken chow mein…. Literally spot the chicken none in there. one chips (about 15 in there) and 2 tiny mains that make up the size of one main anywhere else. Awful. Don’t bother ordering salt and pepper chips…. Legit they just put salt on them. Terrible what a rip off never again

Only recently moved to the area. Ordered from here twice. Food has been very good, nice size portions despite the packaging...(very deceiving). Bit more expensive than I'm used to paying, but the quality of the food is worth it, and the service is friendly. Prawn Crackers as a freebie would be nice though...this is the first Chinese I've known not to throw some in with an order.

Food was lukewarm at best, greasy, did not taste good and the meat incredibly dry and tough. We don’t eat takeaway very often and this just made us realise why. We will not be returning.

The food is lovely but when you're told 30mins you don't expect to wait 1hr. This isn't the 1st time. Might consider a different type of takeaway

Old school chinese not on the apps but great food. I have chicken satay and crispy chilli beef always good.

We have used both takeaway and they never disappoint. it is also nice that they use more recyclable packaging

Eat regularly from here, takeaway on Feb 13th all good except beef with vegetables dish, tough chewy beef not very pleasant at all. Apart from that all OK, not Zenxi obviously but ok

Avoid Tasye of China at all costs. Time after time they mess up orders and today was the last straw. I phoned the order in at 5pm and was told it would be 45mins. Being mindful of Covid I turn up exactly at 5:45 pm. I am still standing in the busy take away at 6.35 and when I ask what's going on I am told it will be another 30 minutes. A bloke who came into the shop to order at 6pm even gets his food before I do. Owners also have a complete disregard for COVID safety as no staff were wearing masks and server was constantly scoffing and spluttering over everyone. Avoid for your own safety!

A great Chinese really good food. Can cater for a variety of tastes and they deliver. A very good selection of vegetarian options too.

Been going here for some years normally very good. Tonight though flavours of some things seem to have changed. My daughter had ribs in chefs special sauce but said it tasted different. A large spring roll I had tasted nothing like the usual and I left half of it. Hard to pinpoint what was wrong/different but will give this a kiss for a few weeks

Always a nice takeaway from here. Unfortunately always too much onion in dishes so specify when you order. It's a cheap way to pad the food out and so needless. Sesame toast not much flavour but adequate.

Order made in person, and was ready within 10-15 minutes which is great. I liked that they use cardboard boxes for most things rather than plastic tubs, appreciate that. They didn't do sweet and sour chicken balls which I'm pretty sure is illegal that's like the most popular thing surely?! Pork balls were nice though and all the food was tasty. Large spring roll could have done with more flavour but to be honest was mostly fine. A solid 3 out of 5.

As always, China garden delivered on time, food was tasty and hot. No problem ordering through Just Eat. As with most Chinese food there was a bit too much sugar in the food,hopefully this will change in the future.

We’ve been using this takeaway for years so when seeing the few reviews there are on here felt needed to leave my review. We have tried a couple of other takeaways around here and this one is the best for us. We have tried numerous dishes from them and they are all very good from Crispy duck, seaweed, Singapore noodles , all types of ribs etc etc always good well cooked decent portion sizes for the money and have never had a problem with service or attitude by members of staff, in fact I would say always been very friendly. We will be continuing to use them no problem.

Really bland, and the rice tasted of the plastic box it had been microwaved in.

Regular user and can't complain, can be slow on busy nights so I always pick up rather than have it delivered.

I thought I just get something to kill my hurgey tummy only, end up made me sick as the sweert and sour saucelike water and vinigal. i have to flow it away before I get sick, the food is smell of dirty cooking oil and the chap whom served me cant speak and communicate with me, I just paid and go,never again please think before you stop at this place

We had finished work late and couldn't be bothered to cook at home, so I decidedd to get a takeaway from Taste of China. This is possibly the worst chinese takeaway I have ever used, the Crispy Chilli Beef was all batter/cornflour, the chips were undercooked, The Pork Balls took about five minutes to chew and the Salt & Pepper Tofu was just deep fried burn chunks of flavourless watery goo. I complained and was told that I didn't know what decent chinese food was and don't come back!! If you have a single taste bud in your mouth do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

The food was very good, not greasy and very tasteful. The service was very good only taking 20-25 minutes for our 5 piece order. Very good.

Ok food ok service but it does the job and stops you from being hungry
