Three times now we have had a takeaway and three times we have got home and not had what we have ordered. We will check next time I would suggest you do the same. Having said that it’s a nice pizza and not a bad deal and the staff are ok.

Pizza buffet was good and great value! You now have to go up and oder which we found was better as you can choose when you want to start your buffet. Although the buffet was very good they never seem to be able to keep up with the emptying of pizza plates. The unlimited drinks machine was great and the ice cream machine is always very popular! However the toilets are not the nicest and could do with being refurbished, they also don't smell the best.This was still a very good pizza buffet though.

I always find this pizza hut small and cramp but as it was a birthday treat we went for a week day lunch. Luckily it was quiet so I was able to keep my sleeping son's buggy next to the table. They no longer offer table service (although the prices haven't changed) so you go up and order then have to carry glasses/cutlery/salad bowls back to the table. For 2 individual pizzas, 1 soda, 1 tap water and a kids meal it was still over £30. The food was nice when it was brought over. The restaurant seemed to clean and tidy although toilets slightly smelt. But I do hate how cramped this store is. I'd never go when it's busy especially when you have to now queue to order/get your drink/salad etc. The ice cream factory in particular is very close to a table. I also think it's overpriced.

Not recommended for wheel chair users, a girl came to us as we went in the door for a treat for my disabled daughter , we had used there before and knew that there was a space where you could sit out of the way with a wheelchair , a space that would have accommodated our party of 7 , we were told there was someone there was shocked to see a young couple with 2 small kids , a bit of common sense and my daughter's day wouldn't have turned into a huge argument and a miserable day , we were placed in the middle of the place blocking the ice cream machine which caused us a nightmare, stressed my daughter very much , we just walked out and have vowed to never use the place again , I'm utterly disgusted by it and the incompetence of the waitress

My son, girlfriend and I stopped here for dinner tonight. Things have changed quite a bit since my last visit. There is no table service any longer and you have to order at a desk. It’s not very helpful when only one of you orders and you are expected to take 3 salad bowls and 3 glasses to your table with no tray! There was no ice for the drinks. All that said, the pizza was good and the salad was fresh.

Wasn’t the best Pizza Hut experience I’ve had. Everything is Quite snug and squeezed in. The ice cream machine wasn’t working which was the main reason we went as kids were excited. However food was good and service was ok. Toilets could do with a good clean though and the menus and tables a good scrub

Sadly when we walked in we didn’t turn around and leave the menus were sticky and generally horrible the tables were dirty and food on the floor the salad bar was well stocked but the pizza was not great the dough was thin and pizza very greasy the wine glasses dirty The only redeeming feature here was the young woman who was trying to make things ok She is wasted at that pizza place

My partner and I took our four children and two of there friends here on our way home for a treat. We have been before a few years ago so we recognised it’s not the best Pizza Hut however it just seems to have gone downhill! They are clearly making changes to make it more profitable with you now having to order at the bar, however this wasn’t a problem. The two members of staff (one being the manager) were pleasant enough but they had no pan pizza or cheesy bites, the salad bar was a mess and the floor looked like it needed a good sweep and clean. The ladies toilets had no toilet roll or soap in either cubicle and my son wouldn’t even use the gents due to the state of the loos. As a family we love Pizza Hut but it just felt they didn’t have enough staff to actually keep the place clean which is a shame. On the positive side the pizza we had was lovely and they had all the drinks available in the machine.

Have used this Pizza Hut for years but was horrified when we went in today. No staff were to be seen and we finally found we had to do everything ourselves. Walk up to counter to order and pay in advance, get our own cutlery and serviettes and then wait. The place has gone right down and is now no longer attractive

I have never been to a place with so many operational issues Hot Drinks machine out of order Ice Machine out of order Warm tepid Pepsi !! Ingredients run out on supreme pizza Ambience of place tired and lacks investment, should have realised on entering when the place was rather empty and tired in appearance. Visit to toilets showed not being serviced, no soap! And finally no hand dryer broken. If I did not no any better this place gave the impression on last legs of operation. To finally add to our anguishing visit this place operates on a order and pay up front basis, having taken my money, and then discovered all the issues, I am absolutely disgusted in the operations of what I considered a premier brand. To cap it off the manager walked around with his shirt hanging out and in view of our issues presented a scruffy appearance, no wonder this place is in a dire state of appearance!!!

Visited with the Children for Friday evening treat, the pizza was very good the service was efficient, as a family we enjoy coming here 💕

Me and my mum visited here in the week for a little treat but it turned out we left here hungrier than we got there! We had to wait for the pizzas to be prepared and by the time it was put on the counter there was non left for anyone else so we had to wait 10 minutes to have another one laid out!

Gastronomically, this venue was little different from all the others in the chain, except that it is in desperate need of refurbishment. The Trip advisor ranking is testimony to that fact. It's in a very convenient town centre location surrounded by plenty of competition. When we visited early evening only two other tables were occupied, which said a lot. Staff lacked any urgency in replacing empty dressing pots. Toilets 'memorable' for the wrong reasons.

A friend and I went for lunch today. We had to wait a few minutes to be acknowledged before being showed to our seats. The waitress handed out the menu but took atleast 15 minutes to get back to us to take our order. While I was at the buffet, the waitress attended to my friend for our orders and referred to me as a child - asking if I needed a children’s menu. The waitress didn’t look any older than 17 herself. Hopefully this was just a one off as I usually can’t find any fault.

We visited with our friends and their children for lunch today. The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived and never got more than half full, yet service was very slow. There were no tomatoes on the salad bar, apparently they were waiting for a delivery! All six of us ordered dessert but my friend and I both had to wait 15 mins after the others for our desserts to arrive and I don’t think we would have received them when we did, had we not chased them up. Finally, my friend mentioned to our waitress that there was no soap in the dispensers in either of the cubicles in the ladies, nevertheless when she returned later on in our visit, the dispensers had still not been filled, I asked again when I went to use the toilet but by the time we left, more than two hours after we arrived, there was still no soap in the dispensers, far from satisfactory for a restaurant, very unhygienic. The food was very nice, as you would expect at Pizza Hut, but I was less than impressed by the service we received, I would suggest the management re-consider their staffing levels, and was even less impressed with the absence of soap in the ladies toilet and the lack of urgency to replenish once the matter had been brought to the attention of the staff.

It is sometimes difficult to please all 6 of us (aged 6 to 46) but everyone really enjoyed their food. Service was good and if you are looking for a smaller Pizza Hut then this is a nice one. Salad bar was fresh and pizzas were delicious, especially the Heavenly Veg. We used the Meerkats Meals app so got one of the pizzas free. If only they did the same deal for the sharing pizzas! The only negative was the that the toilet facilities were not brilliant, just adequate, and there was no soap left in the dispenser.

I visited with my family. I haven't been for a long time so thought I'd give it a try.

When we arrived we patiently waited to be seated, staff seemed to ignore our presence, we then had to wait again for them to organise a table even though we had pre-booked. The salad bar was very poor, missing even the basics, no lettuce or potato salad. The side orders arrived after we had eaten the pizza! Staff really weren’t concerned when we told them about our grievances. Dirty tables all around the restaurant when we arrived, that were only being cleared and cleaned when we were leaving. Couldn’t wait to get out, certainly wasn’t value for money, you can get much better elsewhere.

Very good . Staff very helpfull and pleasant . Seemed to be struggling to keep up with demand . But plenty to eat . Was worth the money. And will go back

This is the place that introduced me to Tuna and Sweetcorn Pizza as a child, and I was thrilled to finally return and have it again more than a decade later. it did not disappoint. I ate way too much but it was so good I didn't care.

This place is a favourite with my kids. They always leave full and happy. We always eat at the all you can eat buffet as you get unlimited pizza/pasta.

We visited here as a party of 5 which included a 2 and a half year old and a four and a half year old. We had not visited Pizza Hut for years. We all really enjoyed our lunch and the staff could not have been more helpful. Colouring sheets and crayons were provided to keep the children entertained whilst waiting for their lunch and lunch did not take an eternity to arrive.

Pizza's a bit tasteless, and bottom not cooked enough, expensive for what they are, the quality of meats they use is cheap as well, salad bar needs some dark greens on it, and cottage cheese. We ordered 2 pots of fries...this were thin fries...which had been cooked in the oven....lousy, oven only good for fat chips!! On the plus side delish Latte Coffee freshly made!!

Took my girls here Thursday evening for tea, was greeted by Harry and shown to our table. Service was prompt and friendly the food came in good time and was lovely, the facilities were clean. My girls really enjoyed their food including the Ice cream which was lovely. Will certainly come back.

Love having a bite to eat here - they do the best bbq chicken wings, although no longer have the sauce I liked on them. Also have an amazing variety of main meals - even for people that don't like pizzas. Unlimited card discounts can save loads and it's pretty cheap anyway. Love the drinks machine and free refills and ICE CREAM FACTORY!!!!

We fancied something different and came for a lunch buffet. The pizza was lovely and well cooked. The pizzas were also brought out often so always fresh.

Having had a couple of truly awful visits here 6 months ago we had avoided like the plague. Decided to give it another try and were not disappointed - food very good - menu improved and service was excellent. Laura the manager deserves a mention for being so friendly. Glad we went and would definitely return with the children again.

We needed wifi access for work reasons and we needed feeding too! Had to wait for a table as it was Easter school holidays. Staff polite. Gluten free pizza base for Hubby. It looked a bit heavy but Hubby said it tasted fine. My pizza was great - just the right level of topping. Not rushed to leave.

If you've been you'll know exactly what you're going to get. Not great but far from bad, and the salad bar and ice cream is always a hit with kids so difficult to fault.

I went here under sufferance with my 7 year old godson. The place is untidy and messy and the floors look like they need a clean. The once prized salad bar is now very average. The main course arrived 2 minutes after the starters that had just been served and the Manager seemed surprised when I questioned and complained about this. The pizza I had was expensive for its content and size and is not a patch on its competitors. No enquiry throughout as to whether things were ok and no apology or anything re the serving faux pax. It looks an age for someone to come with the card machine to pay the bill I shall not be returning. Go elsewhere folks

Visited here with some friends, the staff complained to us for talking 'too loudly' even though we weren't. The two staff members were constantly staring at us throughout our meal, making us feel incredibly conscious of ourselves, which there for made us uncomfortable so left early. Can say that i am appalled by the customer treatment here as we felt they victimized us as we were young.

The best Pizza Hut we have been to just lately. The place is in need of a little updating, but didn't put us off. It's a nice size and when we visited, not to busy. The staff were all extremely friendly. They had everything we wanted. We only waited a few minutes to be seated and a few minutes to have our order taken. Always love the salad bar. Pizza's came out hot and delicious. The kids love the help yourself drinks machine. Alas the ice cream machine wasn't working, but they still had other ice cream in its place. The cheesecake was delicious. We always order to much and had the left overs boxed up. £66 for a family of 5 is very reasonable indeed. Kids happy, means parents happy. It is Lovely to come somewhere, where the staff are all very polite and nice.

Sunday lunch with wife. Great staff, great food and very good value for money. One of the best in the area.

Astounded by how rude a waiter could be! Waiting to order when the restaurant was empty and then asked waiter to take order only to have him respond 'I was trying to avoid the 'tutting', I don't like tutting'! We certainly were not tutting but my daughter was thirsty and there was no excuse for the wait to be served! When questioned by husband as to who was tutting, the waiter just shot a look at my daughter!!! To say the least we were speechless that he was being so blatantly rude! We decided to leave and spoke to the Manager to hopefully have the waiter given some customer service training! Won't be visiting again any time soon!

Probably visit once a year but gave always been greeted by friendly staff and the food is always cooked well! Love the vege options too! Always go here when visiting!

Well located in the centre of Bury. Good service. Food choices and quality as you would expect of a Pizza Hut. I've been several times at weekends with family and they always seem to get it right - can't always be said of other Pizza Huts.Sharing pizza. free salad bar, unlimited soft drinks and unlimited ice cream factory all work for us.

20 years ago this place was one of the best family restaurants in Bury. Since then 200 more eateries have opened and are doing it better than here. Tables are dirty, salad bar was 3/4 empty, no straws for kids drinks, breadsticks all over the floor, 25 mins to get drinks, staff are incredibly polite but have not a clue when it comes to customer service. It really isn't hard to provide an experience, especially when you have 200+ examples on your doorstep to compare against. The food is tasty, exciting and reasonable value. Pizza Hut, I want to like you, I want to bring my family here to eat but you leave me feeling guilty for spending money in your establishment when there are better options so close. Next time I'm sorry but I will have to walk past.

Lunchtime Visiting Pizza Hut Bury St.Edmunds as have been told they do Gluten Free Pizza. The waitress, Kayleigh, was very helpful and knowledgeable about customers being Celiac and she spent as much time and help with my menue and pizza choice as I needed. This made me feel very relaxed and confident that my order was going to be filled without a hitch. I ordered a Gluten Free Pizza with tuna, pineapple, onion and sweetcorn. All prepared fresh and exactly what I had asked for. The pizza came out uncut in order to avoid cross contamination. Again a nice reassuring touch. The pizza was the best I had ever tasted, pleasing to the eye and really very tasty. I cannot fault the food or the staff. Excellent experience had all round and would highly recommend, especially if you want Gluten free pizza. Will definitely be returning. 5*. Thanks to Kayleigh for your great service and also to Sharon for suggesting the strawberry Pepsi - it was lovely :-)

Pizza is very nice from here, offers salad too which is good. Staff are mainly polite, however can sometimes be surly :( gets quite busy so would recommend going later on in the evening.

Very helpful friendly staff. Just thought the place seemed a bit grubby, seats felt sticky and noticed glasses near drinks station looked scratched and old. The self serve ice cream area was so crammed in, that you literally had to squeeze behind other diners to use it. Was thinking I'd hate it if I was sat there with kids jogging the back of my chair the whole time. The people that were there didn't look too happy. Pizza was okay just made mistake of ordering creamy base that made me gag a bit. I had a mini bottle of sparkling wine that could have been colder. Have been to better Pizza Huts than this.

Went here on a weekday for the buffet, had to wait twenty minutes before any pizzas were placed on the buffet station so had to wait a long time. When the pizzas came out there was a lack on the types of pizza on offer. Very poor and left rather unimpressed.

First impression was could probably do with an update. Waiter was polite though and food was lovely and served quickly. Salad bar was good. Will return!

love pizza hut normally however the restaurant we visited in bury st Edmunds was a massive let down. We ordered sides with our pizza which never came out, so when I had to hunt for a waiter to let him know he informed me there was a problem and our side would be shortly on its way and never came out until we had finished our main. The side of chips was hot, but hard and raw :( we never had any one come and check our meal was okay or even an apology for our wait. When we ran out of drinks my partner had to take our glasses to the bar and request more drinks. was very disappointed :( will be sticking to the Colchester restaurant if I do visit again

Visited Pizza Hut Bury St Edmunds for the buffet -on a friday lunchtime- and was very happy. Although there were only two staff serving they coped admirably and were very friendly and kept the pizza table well stocked. Lots of families in there, some with babies and everyone seemed happy.

I visited this restaurant last week with my disabled daughter and her siblings. We were eventually greated by a waitress who informed us they had no room,even though we could clearly see tables were empty and available and no attempt was even made to even try to accommodate us.The website clearly states it is a wheelchair accessible restaurant. I had to leave with very upset children,and I'm appalled at the way we were treated.

I recently went for the lunchtime buffet with my daughter, as it had been quite some time since visiting a Pizza Hut. The Bury outlet was busy, and the service suffered accordingly. In fact, there was a very long gap from being seated to being served. The salad bar offerings were average and typical, and the number of pizzas on offer on the buffet was very limited, with cheese with tomato and standard veggy the only non-meat offerings. The staff did try to keep pizza and pasta available, but it was a continual repeat of the same offerings.The soft drinks were free refill, but with the service at a catch as catch can standard it did take a while to get refills.All in all an average experience and at nearly19 pounds for two people, not the bargain one would expect from a buffet.

We don't usually eat here thought we would have a change. We were seated immediately, menu's were bought over quickly, the salad bar was being topped up so we missed out on a few things. The pizza's were very nice and the young lad that served us (Harry) was very busy, however he was very attentive.

A few years ago I went to pizza hut and was disappointed with the food. But I gave it another chance and they didn't disappoint. The stuffed crusted pizza was lovely and there are a vast range of starters to choose from. Unlimited refills and salad bar are also a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

The last time I went to a pizza hut was probably 15 years ago and hearing they now do gluten free options I thought lets go for lunch....remembering what it was like 15 years ago I anticipated to join a queue of hungry diners desperate for the pizza buffet. However when entering there was only one other set of diners there...even stranger the decor was the same as when I went last time 15 years ago...Unfortunately the new waiter hadn't benefitted from an adequate staff training course and my simple questions of ' do you have a gluten free base?' And ' do you have goats cheese?' Phased him hugely.As the rest of my family tucked into the slim pickings of the buffet ( not like it used to be 15 years ago) I waited for someone to take my order. When the time came he then had to go and get a notebook and pen...pizza however was tastey....all in all an absolutely bizzare eating experience might give it another try in 15 years.

OK so I only went for the lunch time buffet but for this to work to any levels of satisfaction you need a selection of pizza! The place was busy but not overstretched by any standard but pickings were slim. After settling on a couple of bashed slices we sat and waited for replenishment. After looking at our plates for a while I asked the question to the manager is there to be more? I was told there's some already there but we have more coming. The same pizzas arrived. When a barbecue beef one came there was an undignified feeding frenzy and I missed out. I did however count three started vegetarian options. Cold n unloved.Shame as I love pizza!

Having not been to Pizza Hut for years I was looking forward to my stuffed crust. However the first batch were soggy, the second batch were almost as bad. I ate 2 slices which then made me sick. Lovely.

Took my wife and son here for her birthday celebration.The menu has been improved - there was lighter options for the dieters, "less than 500 calories" and a good selection Unlimited salad and fill ups on drinks.All of us enjoyed the meal. Service was good - price was reasonable as well. We were not rushed at any point

I said this 2 years ago and still went back for more. Food everywhere dirty tables and floor and Pizza like a greasy Yorkshire Puddingnever again.

there was 7 of us so we had to sit the kids at a separate table .everything about it was average , the service ,the food ,decor was dull and the three cheeses pizza made me feel sick (probably cos I ate a whole large one to myself .Its ok just dont expect wonderous delights

One could be forgiven in to thinking this is the poor mans Pizza Express, but to be honest I thought it was expensive for what we got and would have preferred to have paid the same for a PE pizza. Soggy, with little flavour and tasting like the cheap little frozen pizza's you can buy on the high street. A saving grace – the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
