Pizza Hut in Leicester

Visited with my son for lunch and was not impressed at all. We were asked to sit down whilst tables were cleared by the manager although there were at least 5 empty tables that were ready. After a while we decided to sit at a table for two and none of the waitresses or manager approached us to ask what we wanted to order. We then asked if we could go for the Buffett to which the manager said “yeah”! We asked for drinks and the manager pointed us in the direction of the drinks machine! The pizza was lukewarm, very chewy and tasteless and the various salad creams were not labelled and area around them were messy. I would not visit this restaurant again and customer service is zero so not recommended.

Pizza was great, I think they’re one of the best. However the service was awful, rude and times and very dull. We were sat at the back and got an awful draft from the kitchen at about 4pm. The price is excessive also. Very average.

Worst ever. Specifically asked for BBQ sauce but “less sauce” option and NONE drizzled on top. When it came it was covered in it. Jade just said “I thought......” clearly couldnt care less. Only deducted cost of drinks. To cap it all as we left NOBODY acknowledged us. Staff need a sort out.

Popped in for lunch whilst in town. Service throughout was very good. My wife and I had thin based individual pizzas and they were really good

Visited on a weekday for their lunchtime buffet and wasn’t that busy. On arrival we were saw waiting but kept waiting far longer than was necessary. We were then seated and left for a while. There is no urgency with the staff who seem to just ponder around at their own leisure. Food was ok, salad could have been fresher and not a lot of variety pizza wise. More varieties at the Thurmaston one. One thing which was terrible was the plates. They were disgusting and hadn’t been washed properly. The cutlery was on the tables in pots with the menus, salt, pepper etc and these were dirty too. The fastest thing was the bill and the lady who bought it was the politest. Definitely room for improvement.

When presented with our pizzas mine being create your own, the server was continually rude and critical of my pizza topping choices in an attempt to degrade and belittle me for having pineapple and sweetcorn on my pizza which embarrassed me and made me feel ashamed of my choice of topping in front of my partner and loud enough for the other diners in your restaurant to overhear. Further to this we found a piece of what we believed to be wood in our salad we told the same server about this he refused to believe it was wood. He said it must have been a piece of dried chicken from one of our pizzas but we found it in the salad and if it had even been old dried chicken it should not have been in the salad or elsewhere.

I’ve went 2 years for my birthday and the service is great fast and friendly and they always do there best to make the stay a good one

The restaurant wasn’t busy which was quite good for us as we were short for time to get to the theatre. Clean restaurant, seemed to have a new menu which was really nice. Friendly waitress and food served in good time. All in all, a nice visit.

I visited Pizza Hut with my children and baby, the service was polite by all staff the manager was so friendly coming round the tables an making a effort with customers. As I was leaving I needed to breast feed my baby and asked if there was anywhere to do so. A very friendly lady said to go upstairs where the area is big and I can feed in a comfortable place, I mentioned if it was ok and if it would be a problem for customers and she said it’s fine “we at Pizza Hut encourage parents to be able to feed there child without feeling uncomfortable.” I was so happy to get that encouragement and was so comfortable when feeding my baby upstairs. Well done Pizza Hut for supporting BF mums .

Me and my girlfriend went for lunch in Pizza Hut after a shopping trip. We were kindly shown to a table by a waiter but then we were completely ignored by all members of staff for about 30 mins, after which we decided to get up and leave. I saw several members of staff glance over at us and continue to not come over. I am very disappointed at the poor service. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy so I can’t undestand why we were ignored, I won’t be returning.

Chose a package deal with a sharing pizza+2 starters+a dough icecream. Totally enough for 3 girls. We were so full. And the cheese ring is fantastic！ The dessert is awesome as well. And unlimited salads！

Went for pizza with my sister before meeting some friends. I forgot how good the pizza is here. Yes it is expensive without any vouchers, however would return in the week for a cheaper meal. The service was impeccable!

went here before going see jessie j in everning. so we filled up on pizza, pasta and drinks as unlimited both is and had a good night out. loads of choice and lovely moden clean place too eat and staff helpful

We enjoyed our meal here at 9pm on a Friday. It was empty (just us!), compared to other places in town which were heaving. The food arrived quickly and it was very tasty. Staff were friendly. The salad bar was great (I love that tortilla crisps feature!). The portion sizes were great. I had the garlic mushroom cheesy pasta. Quick and easy.

Never ate in a Pizza Hut before.

I had not been to a Pizza Hut for many years, perhaps being a bit snobbish about what I expected the quality to be. Shopping in Leicester my wife and I decided to try to lunch buffet with unlimited pizza, pasta and salad. There was a good selection of salad, but that was ignored as I didn't want it to get in the way of pizza consumption. The pasta was basic fusilli with a basilico sauce (or something white) - it was fine. Pizza - very good I thought. Good mix of thin crust and deep base options with a range of toppings, which varied a little as they came out fresh from the kitchen. My favourite was the thin crust peparami.

Usually come here evenings but love coming here for the lunch buffet on my day off. Great choice of pizza’s and other options, great choices for low fat options too and always take advantage of the salad bar. Missing the couscous tho, that was my favourite one but have to have alternatives, such as potato salad, coleslaw, tomatoes, peppers etc. always a good selection. There’s also the dessert bit, icecream and sprinkles but not tried that myself

My wife and I stopped here for lunch during a shopping spree, we sat 45 minutes being ignored by the waitress who had served drinks and food to the table next to us who came in after us when a male waiter asked us if we had been served, having told him we hadn’t he took a drink order and said he will be back shortly to take the food order. We sat another 45 minutes waiting for the drink which never arrived. The table next to us had paid and left and we were still sat waiting when we gave up and left. Shoddy in the extreme, the waitress was well aware of us because she kept looking but had no interest in serving us. It’s put me off the brand never mind the restaurant.

We opted for a buffet and the pizza tasted great as expected from pizza hut. But I thought it was very cheeky of pizza hut to charge a 2 and a half year old £4.99 for a slice of pizza. The service was as you would expect in a buffet not much of a conversation.

Nice buffet and the staff were helpful. Pizzas and salad bar were what was expected. Would recommend.

At last I had cheese on my pizza and vegan cheese to make it look and taste great. Yes fake cheese but who cares except me. So thank you to the person who decided to do this. I definitely will let others know in the vegan communty

As a very pizza-obsessed vegan, I was pleased to hear that Pizza Hut are now offering vegan cheese. My partner and I were treated wonderfully by the servers who went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We were given detailed information about what vegan options were available, and loaded up at the salad bar before devouring a large veggie pizza. The vegan cheese is Violife which melts nicely and goes well on the pan base. The service was quick and everyone was enthusiastic and asked questions about veganism. After eating, we had a lovely chat with Steph and Amy (the manager) about the different kinds of cheese available. Steph gave us the tip to order sweet potato fries/onion rings next time, which can be made vegan when oven cooked and not put in the fryer. We are pleased there are so many dining options available to us now, and can't wait to take my lacto-intolerant friend next time!

Came here for the first time for the lunch time buffet. A decent selection of pizza was available, but I just had the classic margarita pizza due to my vegetarianism. My friend had a larger selection of pizzas on her plate. The salad bar was really good too. One thing I didn't like was the garlic breadsticks. I found them pretty hard personally. Me and my friend opted for dessert, drinks and garlic bread with cheese, all of which were good. The bill came to around 13 quid each which isn't bad but there are buffets in town which offer better value. But then again, they aren't Pizza Hut.

It's just pizza really isn't it lol. Mainly love the strawberry Pepsi though... But the service is always good and friendly waiters that always make sure you're comfortable and all is up to standard etc

Had lunch, two starters, dough balls and salad, two pizzas, to be honest they are average, the staff are friendly. If we had bot had the 'voucher' then its expensive for what it is.. Would I return? Possibly not..

Fuimos para el buffet, y aunque me gustó la ensalada que es lo único positivo que puedo decir sobre él. El lugar parecía sucio y anticuado, y para ser honesto, estaba frío. No tome ningún placer en escribir una mala crítica, pero incluso la pizza era pésima, alguna fría y casi nada. Realmente es terrible la relación calidad-precio teniendo en cuenta lo que puede llegar a poca distancia por mucho menos wonga! No regresaré

Nos fuimos a comer allí! El servicio era bueno, pero todo lo demás era terrible sucios platos cuencos vasos... La pizza era como terrible sin sabor y algo especial.. todas las ensaladas era simple sin costosas y generalmente pudín sin razón,

Almuerzo visita antes de ir a ver actuar afiliado en la curva. Lugar agradable, el personal es amable, aunque parecía un poco estresados y no daba abasto con la limpieza de las mesas entre las personas para sentarse.

The food was nice, the staff were friendly , it was my first day in leicester it was about 8.30ish pm, it was quite but all the staff are helpful and they dont rush you . I couldnt finish my food they asked is i want to take it home which i has to say yes to . Also free salad bar which is a bonus. Deffo be going again the next time im in leicester.

Stumbled into here at around 11:30pm and to our surprise it was still open. Lovely and very helpful staff who pointed out which offers would work best/were most relevant. Great quality pizza which lasted us 3 days!

Food was great, I specially enjoy the health pizza which meant that I could have pizza without the feeling guilty. The salad bar was good with lot to choose from. Service was slow which was a bit of a surprise because they were not busy and there was lots of servers.

One of the best places to eat the place is very clean and tidy, the food is great and the staff are really friendly and are always there to help.

Amazing pizzas, which all came quick, great family restaurant in the city centre this was also first time trying the milkshakes which taste beautiful and are well presented.

Our half term trip to Pizza Hut always goes down well! a couple of hick-ups and not related to all the fizzy drink flavours the kids tried!But staff were helpful and sorted the hick-ups well! (not that we were complaining!!)

the food is not good. i mean its called pizza hut, surely they pride themselves on the quality and taste of it. the prices seem to have gone up to astronomical amounts since the last time i came here. wanted to order some things off the menu, but the waitress told me they dont have any... e.g. they didnt have garlic bread or onion rings, and this was only at around 6 in the evening. another thing which really annoyed me was that i had a 40% discount code on unidays and planned on using this code when i went to pizza hut. i was absolutely shocked to find out that they had different terms and conditions to the unidays app?! to be eligible for unidays you have to be a student which i am and the code was valid before the new academic term had started and i had not yet received my new student i.d. the app didnt say that you had to bring ur student i.d with you but when i wanted to pay at the end and presented my student code the waitress said that i need to show them my i.d i explained to her the situation and she confirmed to me that they have different terms and conditions to the unidays app which is absolutely ridiculous. sort yourselves out before advertising on popular apps.

This is a busy Pizza Hut. The first time to visit one in 10 years and was a pleasant experience. The pizza choice was good and inexpensive plus a salad bar.

Atmosphere was really nice, staff are friendly and helpful and the food is consistent with Pizza Hut standard. Would come back again of course!

My fiancé and I visited the Thurmaston store. It wasn't too busy however there was a lot of staff rushing around seeming to do not a lot. The food was outstanding so much more than I was expecting from a fast food chain. However I really felt the customer service really let the place down. We had to ask for salad bowls and cutlery. We had to ask for extra drinks and 3 times to order desert. The service was very slow and the salad bar was messy and empty. Not the best guys.

If you've visited Pizza Hut before don't expect anything different. It was very busy so the service was rather slow and rushed. The buffet had a good selection and was very clean (no raisins floating in the mayonnaise like other places!). And according to my nan they make okay tea as well!

I visited here on a busy Bank Holiday Monday. We sat upstairs and it seemed to be quieter there. We had the buffet and there was not much pizza choice. The salad bar was messy and we saw people dropping the tongs and spoons on the floor and just putting them back. When a new batch of something came out the tongs were not replaced. It was just pizza. Nothing too enjoyable. Will not visit again.

We went for our meal the waitress was useless, got everything wrong, the salad bar was a mess with meat mixed in with salad not good for veggies, everything was messy, got orders wrong had to remake, we waited over 45 mins for two pizzas that were then horrible and all had bad stomach's the next two days. Really poor service, waited ages and waitress did not bother. Won't go again !

Whether we come here for the buffet or the full menu, the place is always relatively busy yet the staff are incredible at making it seem calm. They are always smiling and willing to help and are exceptionally helpful when it comes to dealing with children. This one is much better than other Pizza Huts I've been too, service with a smile really does make a difference!

I loved it here the staff were really welcoming and interacted with the customers asking about their day. The pizza's were freshly made and were always warm, the option of having unlimited drinks was amazing and so was the ice cream factory. Would love to come back here

Went here last night with a friend and his mum, had a lovely time, fast service, really friendly staff who helped us and we weren't kicked out when it got late just were allowed to finish our drinks at our own speed.

A bank holiday Monday shopping & a stop for lunch. The young lad, Adrian, who seated us was brilliant, bringing our daughter crayons & a balloon. He even played along with my (obvious) tease, that she wasn't allowed either, because she might enjoy them. Before over ruling me and handing her both with a smile. - Thanks for taking the time to entertain a child, even though you were busy.Brilliant and courteous service by Phil, our waiter. You seemed to be at everyone's table, all at once, taking to or from or making sure everything was ok. A true art to make EVERYONE important. Thanks & well done.To the management. If you read this, please show it to the two young lads concerned.

This Pizza Hut allows you to relax in a wonderful, friendly environment. The staff are helpful, genuinely eager to help and very friendly. The food is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. At busy times it does take slightly longer for food to be prepared but as it is fresh, and the wait is usually an acceptable amount of time I have no problems with it.

I adore Pizza Hut, but this time the staff were too slow in providing food for the buffet, which meant we were left hanging around nibbling on the salad bar. There was pasta but I find this too bland for my taste. The drinks were never ending but given to us by the staff, I am now use to refilling my own.

Not a fan of pizza hut but I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality and the nice intimate atmosphere. We are at lunchtime, service a tiny bit slow but not a problem, food was hot and tasty. Salad bar was kept clean and filled. Overall a nice little lunch.

Popped in here for lunch whilst on a shopping trip to Leicester with my family. Greeted nicely and quickly sat down. Ordered three pizzas. No bowls available for the salad bar. We were told to use the plates from the pizza buffet? Then, just as we were putting salad on plates, four bowls were unceremoniously dumped on our table. Not good. Our pizzas arrived and we were given four plates of which two were filthy dirty with dried on food on them. Totally unforgivable in my opinion. Cutlery was dubious also but we stuck with it. Very disappointing.

Staff were very nice and made me welcome, even though I was on my own. I chose the buffet as I love Pizza Hut's salad bar. My only slight gripe is that it's astonishing how much one drink of orange juice can push the bill up.

Went for buffet lunch and it was great. Just a few drawbacks, no salad bowl anymore. You have to have your salad and pizza on the same plate.Also, when ever you called one of the staff over they were always too busy. Overall good food. Also shame the toilets are only upstairs. Well that's what I found, staff were too busy to ask.

We were in town doing a bit of Christmas shopping and decided to have lunch. Not been to Pizza Hut for ages so gave it a go. We timed it perfectly service was great. Our waitress was very attentive every time my other half's Pepsi was nearly gone she brought him another one......shame they don't do the same with the wine but hey you can't have it all. But really great place, which is proved by the fact that they were queuing out the door to get in when we left

We were asked where we would like to sit and I felt that was nice. We then had to wait about 10 mins for the staff to take our order. The drinks took another 10 mins to arrive, so I told my grandson to go and get his food, then I went and the drinks still hadn't arrived. In the end we asked one of the staff. I was slightly shocked at the delay as there were not many people in at that time midday especially in the school holidays. Otherwise the food was very good except for the delay in bringing out pizza's as we had the buffet.

It took the waitress nearly 10 minutes to come and ask for our drinks. Then she gave us our bill whilst we were still in the middle of eating. "No rush" well, it kind of feels as though you are putting us in a rush. Very, very poor service.

We went for Pizza with the family and we had fab time . Kids enjoyed, veg and non veg members enjoyed at very reasonable price . Staff very pleasant and customer friendly and we would certainly come often and gladly recommend out family and friends as its very lively .

Popped in for a early evening bite to eat, Was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised,Shown to table straight away, Friendly welcome. really lovely staff and the food was good. seated very quickly although i would go here either early or later. NEVER over the rush hour on a weekend. The staff really have to work fast.

Pizza Hut is good most times. On occasion Pizza was not very warm. Their salad bar is the best one around and it now is unlimited with pizza. the staff are very good . we mostly eat at Fosse Park restaurant leicester every 2 weeks. N.P.

Food came quickly and was very hot and fresh. Waitress was charming. Salad bar was a little depleted. Tables very close to one another but for a quick reasonably priced venue it ticked all the boxes.

I always like there buffet lunch a real good meal for your money. I very often go in here when visiting Leicester

Excellent service good food, but the front of the house needs a good clean up. It did put me off the food because of the untidiness !

I came here last week and the staff were very nice! The food was nice and we were treated well! :)

the waitress that we had was very freindly and even though we whent at the peak lunch time we were seated straight away and the pizza we ordered came very quickly :) great value for a quick lunch.

We got there a bit late but they were happy to serve us even though it was their closing time. Staff were very friendly but it was really dirty not sure if thats cause it gets cleaned in the morning. Ocer all good

My family and I went to this pizza ht for tea, and we were disappointed. My mother received her salad pizza, but found out it had limp, dry pieces of lettuce hanging off the top. So she asked for a new pizza, but they just brought the same one back with diifferent dry pieces of lettuce on it. We were not pleaSed. Then they gave her a pizza with goats cheese on, the one she had specifically asked not to have as she disliked it. The staff were very apologetic, so at least they had thedecency to say sorry. This disappointed us and we won't be coming here again soon.

We were in leicester yesterday and decided to go for some munch at pizza hut.As we walked in we noticed they do a £5 DEAL (HAPPY HOUR 3-6 PM)We ordered the chicken salad,garlic bread and a coke + for an extra £1 we had a dessert chocolate cheese cake.thinking we had a bargain here.when the salad got there we were proved wrong.lolIt had loads of lettuce which was brown around the edges,loads of cruttons,thick chunks of cucumber and cherry tomatoes and about 2-3 bits of chicken about 1cm in diameter.lol. must admit the worst meal i have ever had ,and i have had some REAL BAD ONES TOO.to top it all we sat there for about 20 minutes after eating it until the waitress came back to us for our desssert.DESSERT ,DONT MAKE ME LAUGH..It was about the size of a false nail....2 spoonfulls and it was gone ,and the spoon was small.loland the moral of this story is ,IF YOU ARE HUNGRY.....dont scrimp and save or you will still be hungry and well pissed off too.

Pizza Hut is just too good anyway, but this is definitely the best Pizza Hut in Leicester. It is clean and there is plenty of space. Although, the service is quite slow.
