Visited Pizza Hut, which we haven't been to since the pandemic, but won't be going to again. It was just a total rip off and Pizza Hut are cashing in. Me and my husband usually share a large pizza half and half, but were told that they weren't doing that anymore!!!!! so we had to have an individual one each instead, which were dearer. The salad bar was closed, which I understood that individuals couldn't crowd around the salad bar. We were offered a green salad which consisted of a very small bowl of a couple of lettuce leaves, a little shredded carrot and a couple of cherry tomatoes!!!!! If you wanted more salad you had to pay £1 for exactly the same again. Surely they could keep the salad bar open and the waitress gets you what you require. Plenty of places are doing this. The waitress was lovely, but sorry Pizza Hut I understand times are hard, but I won't be paying more money out for less food.

Had not been to our local Pizza Hut yet this year as it seemed to be closed for a long time (after others had reopened even). But we went last night and found it to be really good. The server seeing to us, Kelly, was very friendly and helpful. The food was all good as well. Everything we ordered we had not had before so it was all a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is nicely spaced out too for distancing from other diners. We both had flatbread pizzas - these were from a lower calorie option on the menu so wasn’t sure how they would be, but were really nice and tasty, plus a little bit of a smaller portion so you don’t feel too bloated having wolfed an entire pizza. The new cheesecake for dessert was also really good. Would definitely be having it next time we go!

Table booking didn't work. Turned up, had to wait about 50 minutes for a table. You need to place your order on a diabolical app that took ages. They forgot a pizza and side - had to be reminded and do it from scratch so we didn't eat as a family. Some things ordered were not available but no apologies, just didn't turn up. No mayo, incredible. Having ordered 2 garlic breads, 1 turned up and, when I chased, the woman by the cash desk said they didn't have any garlic bread. Another challenge and it turned up 10 minutes later. Not enough staff, some staff good, others ineffective. Felt like there weren't enough to deal with a full restaurant. The food, when it actually turned up, wasn't bad at all. However, it will be back to takeaway Dominoes and no return visit despite eat out to help out. I'll help someone else out next week and the week after. This isn't just a Coronavirus problem - I noticed last year in a different branch that things were going rapidly downhill when they switched from table service to pay at the counter and staff numbers were noticeably fewer. Penny pinching gone badly wrong. No wonder they are under threat of complete corporate insolvency. No wonder some staff look distinctly unhappy to be there.

Ordered for a change not been for 7+ years. Now I know why all pizzas where burnt and cold both sides cold and burnt. No garlic bread for kids.. never again a dear order for inedible food, tried putting our own jalpenos and garlic sauce on still went in bin.. ville cheap cheddar dry cheese NOT mozzarella.. no taste

For the first time in a long time, decided to go for a pizza and mistakenly chose Pizza Hut. Oh how the mighty have fallen; for a great many years as a brand it has been one of the giants, alas no more. There is no more table service; one now chooses from the menu and pays before one tries! A great feat of trickery to pocket your cash before you eat their trash! The garlic bread was more garlic dread (with extra grease). The chicken wings were deep fried sins, also plentifully greasy. A meat feast? More like a meat fast, £11 for 9 inches of little worth. And the Chicken flatbread should be renamed chicken tat bread! Anyway I think you all get the idea, to top it all the restaurant was absolutely freezing and I’ve never seen so many people eating with their coats on! Even our complaint was brushed off as indeed has the quantity of toppings on the pizzas. Next time it’s Frankie and Benny’s, at least there you get a better quality of over priced junk food. Last but not least, how long has this mouldy lolly been sat there!

This has to be the worst experience my food wasn’t cooked and it made me sick wouldn’t recommend it. Was really disappointed and very ill

Sorry hut, but I will not be back soon..... arrived at 19.45, the place was empty bar one couple on a saturday night. The food I must say was nice, salad was fresh. Staff nice and friendly. You need to get your basic's right though. Was Seated then had to get up and Order at counter, so quiet could have ordered than taken a seat. No forks... missed garlic bread of order.... ice cream machine turned off. Had to turn back on and wait ten mins. .... no spoons. No paper in ladys toilet. Mens sinks in toilet taps are lose water everywhere. On the whole just poor.

Visited this restaurant with my 3 children on 29/8/19 @ 16:20 and had no choice but to walk out! When we asked for the booth table, we were point blank refused. Upon pointing out to the manager that the place was empty, we were told that it was not possible to seat us there in case any large parties arrived! Bearing in mind that the restaurant was totally empty apart from one table with 2 customers, the likelihood of more than 2-3 large parties arriving was rather bleak! Serve your present customers properly & make them feel comfortable, instead of worrying about future customers that may never arrive! To make a point we ended up walking out! If the manager can’t give great customer service, I don’t expect much else from the staff! Sort the basics out. Not surprised at you having only 2 stars on trip advisor! Would’ve been a zero rating if allowed!

We used to really like this Pizza Hut as somewhere to pop in quick after shopping but this last time we weren’t as sure It has changed now and you have to go up and order at the till at the entrance where everyone is queueing at the door ! So if you want a pudding after you have to go up again and pay again !! The seating has changed as you go in and it’s hard to get past the first tables and the steps are dangerous The pizza choice for the Lunch buffet was poor When we were there it was mainly all vegetable ones or cheese and tomato One ham and pineapple cake out but no pepperoni or chicken etc The salad bar was low and messy Wouldn’t go again now it’s Changed

Came with my little darlings and they enjoyed the outings. Would definately come back and the salad is fresh and pizza is great

This was our first visit for years and we were not disappointed. We picked a nicely placed table conveniently near the salad display and quickly selected our first dishes of the wide selection of fresh salad before ordering a bottle of the excellent Merlot, great value at £14.29. Our starter of garlic bread and main course pepperoni pizza, both delicious and followed by additional visits for more salad. The restaurant was clean and tidy with free car parking on the out-skirts of Bolton town centre. Worth a visit and ideal for families.

Out first experience of Pizza Hut was not so good and I doubt we'll ever visit again. Probably opted for the wrong food in going for the buffet. So unimpressed with the stodgy luke warm pizzas sat on the hot plate and a salad bar that looked like it was left overs from the day before. Pizza Hut definitely isn't on our list of favourite restaurants. We'll put it down to experience...

Myself and my work collegues visit this pizza hut around once a month for the lunch buffet, usually without complaint. We visited the other week to be told we now had to pay upfront before we eat as it’s ‘new policy’ since the refurb. All we could see was a couple of seating booths less. Once sat down we notice a few more tables fill up, but not once did these people pay before eating. Not sure if it was because we was dressed in trade work uniform but it left a sour taste

Both pizzas where almost cold and looked completly unappetizing, didn't taste nice and not sliced properly. The cheese on the chicken strips was burnt that much it stuck to the paper!! Dominos is much nicer and cheaper!! Wont be ordering from here again

Last month I made a stern post about a very poor experience and I wan to know share this update to show that anyone can have a bad day.

Been here a few times In 2018 and the service has always been slow and disappointing but on Monday we visited and were pleasently surprised!

Disgraceful! Orders pizzas and sides to take away, dreadful despite paying nearly £50. One pizza was the size of an individual despite ordering a medium - apparently as it’s pan base it reduces the size. Gluten free pizza was about the size of a small loaf of bread. Cheesy garlic bread had cheeee in the middle and that was it. Fries had a box of about 26 oven baked chips burnt on one side. Absolute rip off shocking avoid in my opinion

Went to Middlebrook first however, due to poor hygiene walked out and came here . Quick service , friendly staff and good food. Go here instead of Middlebrook x

Booked here for 5pm after going to Bolton pantomime with our 4 grandchild. We were a little early but no problem were shown straight to a clean table... kids were straight up and sorting out free salads and drinks. We sorted out a variety of pizza etc. Main courses came pretty quickly and all together. The waiters and waitresses were great... friendly and helpful and chatty with kids and very patient as we changed our minds numerous times !!The meals were all really nice and it’s a good place to take kids for reasonable food that they all enjoy.

We had been to Moses Gate Country Park & were all hungry & didn't want McDonalds's so we checked where we could eat within easy reach. Not been to this Pizza Hut before, looked busy but staff had a couple of tables free. There were several tables needing clearing but the staff were very busy & very welcoming & friendly. My partner ordered the Meat Feast ,two of us had the Heavenly Veg pizzas, & my nephew had chicken & fries from the children's choice. We had unlimited soft drinks, great idea I think as pizzas always make me so thirsty! Our veggie pizzas were delicious actually amongst the best we had ever had to be honest. My partner has huge appetite so had the sharing pizza as in some places they are not terribly large, what a shock he had when his pizza arrived, HUGE ha ha He still finished it though!!! My nephew had ice cream for afters, we were all too full to manage a dessert. Our waitress KellyF was really good despite being rushed off her feet clearing tables, sweeping messy floor left by family nearby yet looking after us.Would recommend this Pizza Hut & hope to return next time we are in that area,

Not had a pizza for ages, trundled down to Pizza Hut

Came out for sons birthday with friends. Told after 5 minutes wait, that there was 30 food wait for food. Ordered 3 sharing pizza one the new macaroni cheese pizza clarifying that it would touch anything to do with tomato as one is allergic to tomato and 2 garlic breads. The first 2 pizzas appeared then 1 gb then after 5 minutes the macaroni cheese pizza which when asked again if had touch tomato or cut by same knife as tomato pizza staff said is hasn't then went to check and came back and said couldn't be sure. Offered to do a separate individual one to make sure after another 5 minutes 2nd gb came having been told ours have gone to a wrong table. The manager came over about the mac cheese pizza and said the pizza hadnt touch tomato and should be okay but when said it wasn't our child he said we do another but we were already under the impression that the pizza had been put in so then waited another 10 minutes.so the poor child didn't want to eat as everyone else had finished. Staff really should be trained about allergies and what happens with the food they are serving even when boxing up what was left the waitress used the slice from the other pizzas therefore making the special mac pizza useless. Staff useless manager said would cut the bit it touch off but how could you guarantee cutting the right bit what a joke. Frightening experience don't go here if you have allergies unless you want to play Russian roulette. As a sorry gave milkshakes to children and voucher for next visit not sure I want to risk here again.

The service was poor. Had to go to find a waitress to order food and drinks. The tables were sticky. The pizzas on the buffet were nice but should be labelled. On the plus side, the young manager was efficient.

Good pizza piping hot on delivery to the table. Always tastes great. Love the fresh salad from the salad bar! Will be returning

Muy contentos con nuestro viaje y nada de lo que solía ser, muy familiar felizmente regresaría de nuevo.

Arrived on a Friday and went for lunch. We all had the buffet selection at the bargain price of £6.99. Absolutely loads to choose from and if you wanted certain soft drinks they were included too. Very enjoyable.

Visited for lunch with my family of 5 yesterday. Took the Waitress 25 minutes just to come to our table, we were about to leave as she walked up.Place was not busy, at all.Took our order and we got the free salad, as we went to get it, the salad station looked liked it had, had a massive food fight, whether someone had deliberately thrown food about or they had not cleaned the station is anyone's guess but it were not good, so we just had pizza.When the pizza came it was tasteless, and dry, and this was a chicken bbq pizza so it should not have been dry.Had desserts which were actually nice, so not all bad, but the rating is for the service because every table were taking to each other saying how poor the service was.

ordered beer then asked for proof of age so i got my ID out and the young scared lad wouldnt take it saying "i look to young" which isnt his choice im 18 at the end of the day mate, then he told me he didnt want to lose the licence of the place... place is a load of crap if you ask me and the pizza was rank service was terrible plus he said he cant take a welsh licence the daft racist

Great food, great service and quick serving times. Loved every trip we have had here. The staff are lovely.

Lovely selection of salad. Shrimp starter and cheese squares starter. Fill-steak cheese and cheesy bits. Crust was lovely and brown and pizza was loaded with veg.Wonderful delightful taste bonanza.

As a family we visited this Pizza Hut on Bolton Gate retail park last week and had a great experience. Firstly Jayren a new Manager has changed the welcome of this restaurant dramatically, service was really good and food was fresh and tasty. We will definitely return here thanks to Jayren.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, the restaurant was clean and we was served in a timely manner. I can be quite the fussball but no gripes here. Had a stuffed crust with a 50/50 split on toppings was delicious and perfectly cooked, salad bar was on point and they let us take the rest in a box with us. Will be visiting again

It is what it says on the tin been several times never had a bad pizza never had bad service never thought it expensive the wine is cheap for a restaurant the buffet weekdays is extremely good value and the staff have always been nothing less than very helpful

We arrived at around 6.15.. wasn't that busy but had to wait at least 15 mins before someone came to take order. The table was sticky and dirty. Had to wait another half hour for a pizza and starter to arrive. The salad bar was disgusting. Half of the items were missing and the other half looked like they had had the tongs from one item to another. The sauces were all finished. When I asked if they were going to replenish it. I was told he was very busy and still had a list of things to do before he looked into it. So my 2 children and I .. had no salad. The restaurant was less than half full. So I did not understand what the delay was all. At no point did they even attempt to replenish the salad. No apology made for long delay for food either. We regularly visit Pizza Hut and this was the worse experience eve. The pizza was cold and tasteless. I had to send it back. I refuse to pay for something that is inedible and substandard. Had to wait another 20 mins + for another one. At this point there was a handful of customers so not busy at all. All in all kids were fed up and decided not to get any dessert. We left. Not a good experience at all.

Came here today to the middlebrook pizza Hut and we were all disappointed. Firstly we went in and there was a couple in front of us waiting also but no one to attend to us. We waited nearly 10 mins to be attended to and yet there were loads of empty tables. We opted for the weekday buffer at £7.50 an adult which for what we had was expensive. The pizzas were thick Base and dry and the cooks couldn't keep up. Twice I went up to the area to get some pizza but there was none there. Overpriced and not even tasty.

I suggest you invest in more high chairs. Appalling level of service in a half empty restaurant. No wonder you are getting rather mixed reviews.

At first l thought no one would acknowledge me. Then a lovely young lady sat me down. The starter never came as a starter so l was overwhelmed when the starter came with the main course. I felt like had waited a long time. However the food made up for the wait it was very good. I wouldn't say the pepperoni feast deserved that title as the pepperoni was rather sparse. The service was good however l did need too ask for assistance on 4 occasions. No napkins on the table cutlery and no advice given as to where l could find things. Salad bar bowls etc. New staff had started that evening and they were lovely. Pleasant visit.

Visited this Pizza Hut last Thursday at around 2pm. I have been a few times to this Pizza Hut now and always loved it. We had the all you can eat buffet which finishes at 3pm I believe. Even though they were coming to the end of the buffet by the time we went up they were still bringing out fresh pizzas and even checked to see if we wanted any different pizzas than those already there. Salad bar was full and clean. We had the bottomless drinks and a few of us had puddings. Puddings were delicious though a bit on the small side. A great trip though and I will definitely be returning. I can't remember the name of the man who looked after us but he was great and made sure everything spot on.

the pizzas are really nice but the place is very expensive for the quality of the food. The last time I went my pizza was dripping with grease and this really put me off. It is a shame because italian food is my favourite

After a hectic day, why not unwind with pizza and a nice cold drink? That was our thinking as we arrived at the newly refurbished Pizza Hut on Sunday evening. Nice decor and a friendly waitress got us off to a good start, but within a few minutes, what should have been an enjoyable outing began to spiral into the stuff of nightmares. Having ordered, we were still waiting for drinks 25 minutes later. Between flying pizza and chip missiles ( I kid you not! There was a party of around 14 boys on a table nearby) we managed to choose a red plastic bowl of salad. The pizzas finally arrived after 40 minutes , but the super thin pizza I ordered was like cardboard, the toppings were sparse and it was impossible to cut with a knife. The parents of the miscreants finally did something about their behaviour when I pointed out to them that I had been hit by yet another chip missile. At no time did a waiter return to the table to enquire if our meal was satisfactory or if another glass of wine was required and I had to go looking for one in order to get the bill. Being bombarded by smartie missiles was the last straw. The staff did nothing to address the boys' behaviour and the parents seemed oblivious. To round it off, it cost fifty six quid for the pleasure of eating inedible cardboard pizza while being target practice for an unruly bunch of boys. Just what you need on a Sunday evening! Needless to say, we won't be visiting again, ever.

Arrived at Pizza Hut to wait 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us.a man came with shirt hanging out hair barely tied back beard looked like scruffy student on night out turned out to be a manager. The manager said it's Friday night I have 2 waitress so will be 15 minutes before you could have a table. Should of known to leave then. Noticed 3 table leaving then 7 still occupied shown to a table my wife who is in a wheelchair was told he would remove chair for her she asked can I not sit on your chairs manager looked puzzled then left the chair. He then said I'll take children's order first presuming again what we wanted my wife again said no the children are having same as us. Order placed told help yourself to salad who a joke the salad bar was empty and dirty limited bowls no glasses for drinks and again dirty. We asked member of staff who said yeah we'll do it on a bit. That's what they meant as well other guests asked we asked again after 5 minutes the manager then decided to fill it up but not clean it. Starters arrive garlic bread over cooked and verging on cold other ok 2 very small sauces with the combo nothing with the prawns or cheese bites which were not hot and quite dry. We told manager who to be fare said sorry and said would sort out desserts. Pizzas were okay nothing special and peppers and onions were raw appeared to be after thought. 10 minutes after finishing the pizza stacking plates we were asked if finished and wanted the rest boxing. Then the manager said we could have a sharing pudding for free for children is no choice and didn't have the chocolate chip one anyway. All In all bad night. bad service. Badly planned managed restaurant no staff Friday night £64 for a really mediocre meal. We Won't rush back

We ordered from the take away pizza hut, delivery was on time and starters were great, all hot and fresh. However we ordered an Italian style pepperoni pizza. on arrival we noticed that the pizza inside was thicker than there original crust pizza and there was about 2 inches of crust all around the pizza, really i got a small pizza instead of a large considering how much sauce and cheese there was, there was barely anything on it and it was rubbery texture. Luckily i ordered a lot of starters so i was able to fill up on them. I tried to ring the takeaway and had no luck what so ever. It was very disappointing that the pizza from pizza hut was so rubbish, i have been to plenty of pizza huts and have never had a pizza as rubbish as this. For the price you pay you would at least expect a decent pizza not the worst. Will not be using this ever again think i will try my luck at domino's next time.

Last week I visit this Pizza Hut, it had been several weeks since my last visit. I do like this place and I always find the staff friendly and helpful.This visit we opted for the buffet and given the time we went approximately 1pm there was a good choice. Only one issue, I think you need to sharpen your pizza cutters, since several times I found it difficult to take just one slice of pizza because it had not been cut through sufficiently (I noticed the same problem at my last visit back in June!)A place I will visit again, although have to admit I do want to try the revamped Pizza Hut at Middlebrook!

It was our daughters 3rd birthday, and we also had baby so thought Pizza Hut buffet would be best option vs waiter service...Could not fault the staff, they say my little girl had a birthday badge on and came over with party bags, balloons, all round good service.A while since been to Pizza Hut, salad bar really impressive. Pizza was just ok, but do like the deep pan bases.Once meal finished, (never charged for my little girl despite her eating half the pasta in the tray) they offered a paper cup to fill up with sweets from ice cream factory.Was a good experience made up by the staff.Happy to recommend and would re visit.

Visited here for first time due to the Middlebrook restaurant being closed for refurbishment. Waited at door for about 5 mins even though it was quiet (about 5 tables in). Was given menus but waited 10 mins for someone to take our drinks and food order. I work in a restaurant and personally I take drinks orders instantly and then the food order after but not sure if that would work here with the refillable soft drinks? Not sure... but anyway food came within reasonable time and was lovely! I got a little confused at the salad bar as there was no labels for the dips so I didn't know what most of them were (alot of them were white so hard to tell the difference). Just felt we was let down by service as then it took about 15 mins to clear our plates and then we thought we had a voucher to use (turns out it was invalid which was absolutely fine) but manager came across very rude about it. I didn't catch her name but I didn't like the way she spoke to us. Also, we asked to split the bill directly in half but my friend ended up paying more than me. However the young lady serving us througout the meal was very polite and lovely.Great food, slow service, rude manager overall!

I read all the other reviews to see if I was being unreasonable and I'm shocked that Pizza Hut have let this branch get so bad. We went to pizza hut because its a brand so you know what your getting & there's at least a minimum standard (or so we thought).The place is a bit dingy, messy toilets & dodgy blinds. The salad bar had dirty bowls for a start and it took ages for our food to come when there were no more than 10 tables full in there. They had 4 floor staff who were so illusive when you needed them. When we finally got our food the waitress did admit she had a dirty plate for us & swapped it.No sauces or herbs on the table. We asked one waitress for a pot of sauce, thats it not a big ask, did we ever get it? Did we heck & it wasn't busy! This place needs a shake up considering its not mega cheap & I wish we'd driven further to another pizza hut.

Just landed back from a week away all inclusive and me and my partner was looking forwards to having a nice juicy pizza from Pizza Hut There was plenty of offers to choose from so we opted for a £7.99 pizza any size .. we ordered a Large meat feast of course and we had to top it up with chicken trips and a garlic dip to get the pizza at the £7.99 what took the bill to £13.76 con con con ... we ordered the meal deal and when it arrived it was nice and hot and and tucked in ..First slice didn't touch the sides as I was starving and when I took another slice I looked hard at the topping and was struggling to make out if it was a Margarita or if they had got the order wrong or just didn't bother putting the toppings on I've picked more food out of my teeth than the amount of topping that was on that pizza ..I'm disgusted that you order a £7.99 pizza end up spend £14.00 ! and they don't bother putting any topping on ..I've picked more out of my nose!!If pizza Hut compromise your topping to make it look like you are getting a good deal then go to Asda and get a pizza base and make your own for a fraction of the cost PIZZA HUT ..GET A GRIP AND STOP RIPPING YOUR CUSTOMERS OFF !!

From the moment we walked in the place from the glass and steel soullessness to the jet wash clean Formica tables, we were apprehensive to say the least. Save the eat as much as you like salad bar, which surprised me not to find cigarettes stubbed out in the coleslaw. The menu was pretty dismal and offered nothing unique that couldn't be rustled up cheaper at the nearest supermarket. Given that, we opted for one of the sharing specials with a stuffed crust. Some kind of cheese steak pizza. The cheese there was plenty of. The steak was not much to be seen. What was there was burnt to a cinder. The waitress dropped it off and scarpered. We felt like we were being linked. Is this for real? A couple of sides that resembled ready meal foidder and refillable drinks and I was 37 quid lighter. For fast food. Bad fast food that we could have sourced at a higher quality for less than half the price at Papa Johns. I haven't eaten at pizza hut for over 10 years and given this standard it's hardly surprising. I appreciate that competition is tough but make an effort. It's like you've given up. The service was horrendous too, but in fairness they were training new staff. Come settling the bill I thought I might have to process my own bill, we were waiting that long by the exit.Never again. That's me and pizza hut done for I expect another 20 years

I love pizza's and as a chain brand Pizza Hut is always a fave. The food is great in taste and size, but the service is lacking. There were 2 waitresses fussing abut at the till and a young girl trying to manage service at the entrance desk. You could see that they were tables yet she said she had to scout around and find a table. I am an impatient woman and after waiting 5mins to get seated, 10 mins to give our order and over 15mins for food, I'd say they need training in 'Better Service' here.

This was my first visit to Pizza Hut. We arrived at noon and were the first ones in ! The staff were very friendly , food was lovely , the children had a fantastic time (so did the adults !). Toilets were spotless ! Will definitely return :-)

The food was as to be expected from a chain restaurant. However, the service was poor at best. We were left for easily 15 minutes without a drink. The restaurant was empty so I consider this to be inexcusable. The staff seemed comfortable to have a chin wag whilst customers were left with empty stomachs.

My wife and i have been her in the past and hasn't been too bad. The usual rowdy children but bearably. Not tonight. We arrived and stood for roughly 2-3 minutes before passing staff said we'd be dealt with in a minute. The place wasn't busy so couldn't understand why we had to wait. After a few more minutes we were shown to a table. We asked, as it was quiet if we could have a comfy seat nearby, and was told to sit at this table until the other table was cleared. We agreed and moved once the table was cleared. We were given menus and left alone. After 10 minutes not one of the many staff asked for our drinks or food order. I went to the salad bar to get starters and perhaps get someones attention. It didn't work. After a further 2-3 minutes we decided to leave. Not one person stopped us and asked if there was a problem etc. I will never return to this so called "restaurant" The owners need to get their act together and improve customer service as after all, its that which keeps customers coming back.This was the worst visit to a pizza hut i have ever had.

How this place prides itself on their pizzas is beyond belief! They're soggy, doughy, messy & tasteless! When the children had began to eat theirs they noticed it hadn't been cooked properly & was still very doughy in the centre - when I complained to the staff they were unhelpful & stated that as they'd eaten part of the pizza they wouldn't give a refund! I noticed a sign to their staff as we entered the restaurant which read "Think - would you eat what you're serving?" .. I should've realised then that it was going to be a poor meal! Wouldn't ever return to Pizza Hut!

Went to this restaurant about 4:30om during Christmas season. Staff were unhelpful and unfriendly apart from the lady who I paid the bill to. We had to constantly ask them about what was available when eventually we could get their attention. As they walked through the restaurant they never raised their heads do anyone could get their attention. When eventually the pizza arrived it actually was quite nice. The salad was bland however and lacked any sparkle. Wouldn't go back frankly.

Got there at about 5.30 had to stand in line for a table, don't know why there were loads of empty tables once in and sat down ordered a starter first along with main coarse and then waited then the pizza came no starter asked were starter was don't know was reply went to try and cancel starter and have a moan about it starter turns up with the manager in tow saying how sorry she was the waitress had not wrote it down on the order that's why it had not turned up, what a load of bol!!!!!!ks we saw her Wright it down and she was being made to carry the can for a badly run Pizza Hut won't be going there again

It was quite busy when I came there and I had to wait a couple of minutes to be served. Food was piping hot and tasty. Music a little bit too loud but bearable. Generally it was OK.

we went this evening with a 241 voucher .it was absolutely dead .a lady called Zahra served us and we couldn't fault her service as she asked us if we wanted the second pizza putting in a box to take home without having to ask . we tried to enter the survey on line but you only get to page two before it freezes but when you try again it tells you code already used .sadly we didn't check the receipt as title says and it was only when we tried to fill survey we noticed we had been charged for two soft drinks at 2,55 each and we only had one and one beer which probably doesn't sound a lot but if they do it to everybody it will be a good little money earner for them also on the receipt it said we had one America and one hawaiian when we had two America so maybe because the Hawaiian is two pounds cheaper they have charged us more who knows we will never know so as we suggest check your receipt before paying

I asked for the music to be turned down, but they turned it back up again. Ordered pizza barbecue Americana, which has chicken on it, but they came back and said that there was no chicken, so we could have anything else on it, so I said like what? Bacon was the reply! Ok! To top it all the service is very slow no salad bowls out, no cutlery, I had to ask for it all. Still waiting for pizza... Half an hour and counting, bad, very bad. Had to ask again to turn the music down! We will not come here again.

We have frequented Pizza Hut in many different parts of the country including many celebration meals at our local restaurant but our experience of Pizza Hut at Middlebrook is nothing short of shocking..We arrived at 6:00pm on Sunday after taking part in an event in Bolton to to greeted by a fairly empty dining area, we were all pretty tired & hungry so looked forward to a swift meal then home to rest....the waitress was courteous & showed us to a table, we were left for 20 mins before returning after we asked if we could order..we ordered drinks and again after a long wait were told we couldn't get a cup of tea as they had no milk...the toilets were less than well maintained but the final nail was having to wait almost an hour for 5 pizza's & 2 pasta dishes to arrive !! I would hate to think how bad this place would be in a busy period!!

6 adults and one toddler.Ordered food all to arrive at same time (as you would expect) our food arrived all at different times. My daughters pizza arrive with a huge air bubble in it. The waitress assured us the chef would make a new one.. This arrived 20 minutes into our meal with another air bubble in it. The waitress couldn't apologise enough. We had to ask 4 times about our nachos for them then to arrive burned after the waitress explained the first lot had been cremated and therefore binned. The veggie pizza was dry. The onion rings were soft. The fries were good though .. And the salad bar was the same as always- not disappointing. Finally when asking to split the payments onto 3 separate cards - I assume quite a common thing to do. This took 2 members of staff! Also they told us that we would have to work out the amounts- not a problem but was said very abruptly as if we were a huge inconvenience.. However our waitress for our meal and drinks was lovely. A credit to the restaurant and i'm sure the only thing holding this place together

Arrived on a Sunday evening for a meal with friends. When we Sat down we were told that 2 of the starter options had sold out. So we made our choices only to be told when ordering that another one of the starters was sold out....we ended up skipping starters in the end! The pizza we received was nice and so we're the milkshakes although they were half the size of milkshakes in other pizza huts.

Visited pizza hut this afternoon and my gosh what a joke ! Walked in got told to sit down were ever I wanted as I could see it was hammered (2 tables) sat down for between 10-15 minutes girl came over no menu other than the one she was using as a fan so went for buffet ....bad idea! Lovey cold mushy pasta and a selection of 2 pizzas and a few bits of garlic bread ....anyhowww wanted to get a side and had to get up and ask for it .Typical big chain problem if you don't agree with me scrape the staff back save money think of big bonus for lazy managers who do nothing ....real shame won't be going back to pizza hut so yeah I would crap in my hands and clap for you for ruining something sacrid :)

The waiter couldn't have been nicer, although I'm afraid that's where the good news ends. After being shown to a table and left with a menu, we made our choices, only to be told on ordering we couldn't have any of them due to there being no BBQ sauce which apparently we should have been told about when we were given the menus.Considering the cost, I expected better. The pizzas we received were average, the salad bar looked like it had been there all day (wilted lettuce, no coleslaw etc). With hindsight we'd have been better off ordering take out pizza to the hotel.The toilets made me laugh. There was a sign on the wall commenting on how proud they are of their clean toilets however 1 was blocked, 1 was absolutely filthy and the 3rd was just about usable if desperate. I won't be going back here.

Waiter was nice but food was shocking considering the price. Ordered a share pizza and it wasn't cut evenly; 3slices of one and 5 of the other. Then on the second pizza there was a long hair under the pizza. They where kind enough to offer a fresh pizza but at this point we where totally put off. So disappointed!

We have been in here a couple of times in the last month and I am surprised how modern they have made itNice feature walls and decor with a new help yourself cold drinks and ice dispenserThe salad bar was plentiful and well stocked on both our visits although the restaurant was quiet both times, once on a weds night and once on a Sunday afternoonThe staff are very pleasant and the food was lovely, had pizzas salad and icecream factory I watched the staff as I was sat opposite the salad bar and ice cream area and they were always stocking up and cleaning the sauce bottles etc I would say it is a better place now than it used to be

Made the mistake of taking my grandchildren to Pizza Hut. I ordered chicken bites which I could not eat. My youngest grandson dropped a piece of pizza onto the bench seat where it joined an array of other pieces of mouldy food which hadn't been moved for weeks! The plates and cutlery had to be sorted thru until I could find some that were clean enough to use. I should have packed them up and left. The children's meals are very small and including ice cream cost £5.49 which I do not consider to be cheap when all they had were a few chips three pieces of chicken and a pizza that only just covered a side plate. I shall vote with my feet and never frequent this place again.

Took my granddaughter & her friend to Pizza Hut for their lunch as a treat instead of McDonalds how I wish I hadn't bothered! The food was expensive for what you got & the children's menu didn't have a lot of choice & was also on the expensive side.We sat at a round table with a large lampshade over the top without a bulb so it was quite dark, music was blaring out so we found it very had to speak to each other. After ordering our pizza's we were told there was a free salad bar and to help ourselves, we waded through all the spilt food on the floor to the salad bar and found this to be as untidy as the rest of the restaurant!!! Food was all over the place and many parts of the salad was mixed in with other food, not very nice!!!The waitress who served us was very pleasant & our pizza was delicious, she even brought out a box for us to take home what we didn't eat however the state of the place and the uncleanliness really put us off and we won't be rushing back any time soon for another treat for the grandkids!!!!

We decided to eat here after attending an award ceremony to pick up 2 awards for customer service for the company we own. It is ironic that we walked into a restaurant that saw customer service as a very low priority. When we walked in a manager saw us to our seats but forgot to give us our menus so in the end we had to go and find some. After about 20 minutes no-one had been to take our order so again we went to find someone. A waitress called Donna came to help - she was polite and apologised for our wait but she was clearly trying to run the whole place on her own as there were no other staff there and we never saw the manager again. She took our order, cleared the tables and sorted out all the other tables. They didn't have any bowls for salads so had to give us large plates. The order was wrong so the same waitress went and sorted it out with the kitchen. I am absolutely shocked that a restaurant chain of this size can allow this to happen. The waitress was trying desperately to keep everyone happy but we saw people walk out and also some complaining to her. How can this be allowed to happen. The place was dirty, tables had not been cleared, the salad bar was half empty and there were no glasses for the self service drinks. Shocked and appalled at this restaurant. If they have any sense they will speak to the waitress trying to run everything last night and put in competent staff and turn the place around.

Decided to go out for tea here instead of getting the pizza hut delivery. walked in and the girl at the till didn't say a word to us just walked into the back, another 2 waitresses also walked by without speaking to us. finally an older waitress seated us and said there were no fizzy drinks but customers could have unlimited squash (which ended up costing £1.50 each even though we only had one drink of this each). ordered after waiting a while, food came quickly and was ok but a bit greasy. waited quite a while to order deserts Even though we had not been eating for a while and our plates were empty waitresses around us did not offer to take the plates (it seemed to be one server per table) others around us were also sat with empty plates. waitresses seemed to look busy doing things like setting up empty tables, however the restaurant was less than half full and tables were clearly waiting for plates to be moved. Waited for a while after finishing deserts for someone to come and take plates/ bring the bill however no one came so had to go to the till and ask to pay, as I approached the 2 waitresses neither of them asked what I wanted just continued looking at the till until I asked if I could pay. Was here over 2 hours which is a lot longer than we anticipated, mainly due to waiting around to be seated/ served/ for the bill.

This wasn't our first choice place for lunch, however we ended up here. Visited on a Saturday afternoon, place was quite busy staff were very friendly and helpful. The salad bar, for me is the best bit. Well topped up and clean. I didn't want a pizza and not keen on pasta. So I had a chicken strips starter as a main. Really light and tasty; the sauces were lovely too. We had a garlic bread starter, got 4 pieces, which I didn't think was bad at all. Son had a pizza, not a lot you can say about a margarita with chicken! He enjoyed it tho. However, what is with the stupidly priced drinks? I paid £5.10 for two cokes. Yes I know you can fill up as often as you want....but really 5.10 for not only two glasses of coke, but you have to get them yourselves!!! I could have bought 5 2L bottles for that price. I don't usually mind paying for something if it's being served to you but that is just ridiculous!! Anybody in the trade knows that the syrup they use to make the coke costs 0.2p per serving! Won't be going back in a hurry! Hate being ripped off!

A good pizza hut restaurant. Staff polite but service was a little slow. Prices are a little higher nowadays which takes a bit of the benefit away... For those not having been to a pizza hut before, its similar style to Dominos or American style joints, don't expect an Italian experience....

Staff were friendly and quick on service. Tables were clean and food was lovely. Love the new York deli pizza and ultimate salads yum. Will visit again as great value for money always busy too but the service given too us for the wait was efficient.

Had the large pizza £16 approx. large but not worth the money. Staff ok.This was my first visit to Pizza hut and it will be my last.I get better pizzas from the cut price German supermarket A--I .Not cheap nor cheerful there are better places to eat pizza.

Middlebrook Pizza Hut, what a disgrace !!!! That's not pizza, it's cardboard look-a-like !! Went with hubby and kids after visiting family at weekend, what a terrible end to what had been a great day. The food was absolute crap, the service absolutely diabolical and don't even get me started on the attitude of the staff !!! They all need proper training in REAL customer service !!!! I'm so angry that I even wasted my time and money going there . One things for sure NEVER EVER AGAIN !! I won't even try a different pizza hut, you've had the only money you will ever get from me !!! Middlebrook Pizza Hut you're a joke !!!!

Been there tonight after taking the little lad and his mate bowling and have to say that was the worst pizza I've had at any Pizza Hut in the world! I've had better £1.00 pizzas from Iceland. Salad bar the usual and plenty of it but I didn't go for salad. Shame as I've always accepted Pizza Hut for what it is, cheap and cheerful, but that was crap. Won't be returning there ever or indeed to any for the forthcoming.

Called in Middlebrook Pizza Hut ... pizza ok unlimited salad, asked for tomatoes only to be told if none there we haven't got any (supermarket across carpark) waited ages before table cleared not many people in was not asked if we would like dessert or more tea/coffee .. paid bill .. will not go again

My friend & I visited here after finishing work in Bolton. We were shown to our table very quickly. We decided on a half and half, we also asked for two cups of tea only to be told they could not do hot drinks so we settled on iced water. The salad bar was full and clean. When our pizza arrived it was very warm and enjoyable. As this was my first visit to a Pizza Hut I have nothing to compare it too but I would defiantly visit again.

Have been to Pizza Hut at Middlebrook several times and have had a decent pizza and ok service. I really don't know what has happened. Called in on Thursday evening whilst shopping. The restaurant was busy but there were plenty of spare tables, however many were laden with dirty dishes. 3 staff members were about, 1 of whom was clearing tables. We waited to be seated and waited!!! Eventually we were shown to a table and given menus.Looking around the restaurant it looked untidy, the salad bar area looked quite messy and the floor looked like it needed a good clean. After waiting and waiting again, with no one coming to ask if we wanted drinks or wished to order, eventually we got up and walked out. I really wondered if anyone had noticed that we had gone???

We visited Friday night, the waitress was helpful although slightly over keen to clear our table. The starters arrived at the same time as our mains, the latte left a lot to be desired but the atmosphere was nice and it served it's purpose

as a couple, me and my partner have visited pizzahut on middlebrook quite afew times the first few times we're great but each time I've noticed something. there's hardly ever any choice and now it's not possible to get spaghetti bolognaise not even from the kids menu (yes I realise I'm not a child but there's only so much pizza and garlic that one person can take without feeling queasy). don't get me wrong, the staff are always polite and pleasant to us, they always make sure that we are happy with our meals and that the salad bar and ice cream factory are fully stocked. The last time I went I settled for a stuffed crust anchovy pizza which was brilliant and a mushroom ravioli bake but it was incredibly garlicky and the side order of garlic bread didn't help much either and was rather greasy. It's brilliant for families and people with kids but for couples it's a definate no go

We have been regular visitors to Pizza Hut for a while but the last visit was the final straw. They got our order wrong and after asking for a small tea spoon for my son I was told to go and ask someone else. Absolutely disgusting service. Don't bother going.

bad service, cold and dirty restaurant, lacklustre staff, poor salad bar, curdled mayo (which apparently tasted ok according to the staff!), and poor atmosphere. have been to this pizza hut many many times in the past but this last visit made me realise how much it has gone down hill since my last visit. i have complained but no-one has bothered to reply. won't be going again

I placed an order online and shortly after I tried to alter it, only for my order to be doubled instead. For the price I paid I expected decent food however it was identical to any other pizza from a take away restaurant. Also, the fries were undercooked as well as the 'cheesy bites' on the pizza, which had no cheese inside of them at all. Overall, I am disappointed and will not be ordering again.

We arrived after shopping at Middlebrook and were greeted politely and shown to out table.Service was prompt and cheerful and the meal was good overall although there was very little cheese on my pizza which meant it went cold very quickly. The salad now it is 'free' is a little warm and wilted but overall the meal was fast and edible.Our server went out of his was to be pleasant and efficient. I have noticed that the cost of the pizzas has inflated over the past year and I'm not sure that the individual pizzas are value for money especially when you can order and large pan pizza for take out for the same price.

I normally like this restaurant but on Valentines Day we went in the evening. We were eating our starters and we got told our mains were ready so they brought them and we hadn't even finished our starters. Then when we were eating our main meal she came up to us and went 'would you like me to box the pizza up for you?' while we were still eating. They obviously just cared about getting home early! To top it off they then turned the lights off leaving us in the dark! Not impressed. I sent a complaint to Pizza Hut and I got a letter back that was just a standard letter they sent to everyone. Rubbish experience!

terrible service, ordered delivery with a half and half pizza, I'm vegetarian yet they put hamburgers in the crust, called to ask them to modify the order literally 2 minutes later and they refused as they had already made it, when it did arrive it was a mess, cold, and the vegetarian side was covered in pieces of bacon, ridiculously bad service, will not be going there again.

We arrived at the Bolton Gate branch to find the reception area unattended and a family already in front of us and being ignored by staff.After a few minutes I called a passing member of staff to get some attention, I was told the manager should have been greeting people as they arrived but she had been called away to deal with a complaint, really?!!!!!!Although the car park was more that half empty and tables were obviously vacant we were told we would have to wait in the foyer for around ten mins, as there was nowhere to sit and it was freezing cold we did not think it was fair to keep our young children hanging about so we left.Who do they think they are expecting us to queue in those conditions, they are serving fast food pizza, not haute cuisine! Has to be said last time we went we noticed levels of service had slipped, staff seem to prefer hanging about chatting to each other than serving customers, manager is clearly not able to control her staff and is out of her depth, avoid at all costs!!!!!!

Pizza Hut is a franchise so there is an expectation of uniformity. I have eaten pizza hut in many countries such as China, UAE, and America. I can honestly say that in this pizza hut the pizza was at an all time low. It's fast food so expectations are not grand, but it was gross. There was barely any sauce, the pizza was like paper. (I ordered the usual pan pizza) 3/10

I can't fault the food, nor the price. The pizza is always cooked to perfection, and the salad bar is refillable and is well stocked with plenty of choice.The staff are very attentive, always serve with a smile and forever there to help you.The atmosphere is... I don't know how to describe it. The best way is to say there is LACK of an atmosphere. No music is playing at all, and the surroundings look like they could use a pick-me-up. But aside this minor complaint, I was very happy with the evening and will be returning!

Not got a great atmosphere, always seem a little short staffed, but food has always been good, again can be a bit pricey and overrated.

The staff were particularly cheery and enthusiastic which is often rare in Pizza Huts these days. The two waitresses actually looked like they enjoyed their jobs.We shared a large half & half stuffed crust pizza and along with unlimited salad, this was more than enough for us.

Attended this Pizza Hut recently and have to say the happy hour menu represents fantastic value for money. A pizza or pasta plus unlimited salad, a side dish and a drink and all for just £6 per person. Service here was very prompt and the staff where pleasant enough on our visit.

staff stood around chatting, no cutlery was given, had to get my own napkins, asked if they had any crayons for the kids, was given a whole pot of yellow crayons...all 10 were yellow! can only be a franchise, as the food was seriously on the cheap! the garlic bread with cheese was just bread, hardly any cheese and not garlic at all!

Coleslaw just standard not creamy enough for my liking..All in all i would give the place 70% out of 100...... Nice for the odd takeout....

Chose to call in for tea (13th March 2013) and was pleasantly surprised. We were seated straight away, our order was placed within a few minutes of sitting down, the drinks followed very quickly afterwards along with bowls for the salad, the food arrived soon after that and it was fresh and hot and very tasty! We bought the £6 pp meal deal which includes a starter (potato wedges or garlic bread), main meal (pizza or pasta) and free refills on soft drinks! Was a great bargain, delicious food and exceptional service!
