Pizza Glossop in High Peak

Stopped off whilst on a bike ride a couple of weeks back. Orderer a chicken kebab and wasn't disappointed. Stuffed full of chicken and really good quality. Deffo a stop I'll be making again.

Driver rang me from a distant car park asking me to come out and get my food then asked me to open the back door to my garden because he didn’t want to have to walk round to the other side of the house

Was a resounding victory for my taste buds. Me and the muckas loved the scran and I found the drinks to be as cold as Cole Palmer. Overall loved the munch and thought it was different gravy

ordered at 7:46 and didn’t get delivered til about half 9, kebab wasn’t on naan it was on a tiny tortilla wrap and had one piece of chicken on it, usually always order from here and its great but really disappointed this time

First time ordering from here it’s was absolutely delicious, all food was piping hot , all fresh so nice will definitely be ordering again soon.

Where oh where do I start. Firstly, cheesy fries, cheese was extremely bland and rubbery. Chips without the cheese were okay but again bland. Cheese burger, unfortunately this was an absolute mess, bland, gristle, greasy mess. Bun was just falling apart because of the grease. Garlic bread, was burnt and was like eating cardboard. Kebab, wow. The naan bread was the best part, nice thin and crispy in places, fresh onions and salad ( mainly made up of onions). Kebab meat was extremely overloaded with pepper, I've personally never been unable to finish Kebab meat. But even this was too peppery for me. It tasted of nothing but pepper. Chocolate fudge cake, was lovely but texture of the sponge was dry. And got a bit sickly after a few nibbles. The only happy customer was the dog who ate most of the food ( except the Kebab meat as wouldn't give it to the dog because of how overloaded with pepper it was) Delivery was fast and a pleasant driver. The WHOLE order wasn't vert enjoyable and based on this order, I probably wouldn't recommend or order from again... All the best to this establishment but I'd recommend changing Kebab meat supplier.

This was my favourite pizza place In Glossop untill tonight. Ther were hardly any toppings on either of our pizzas. Very sad. Not going back.

Sorry to say I was very disappointed with the doner kebab tonight. A cheap wrap was used instead of a naan bread. The rest of the order was fine. One more wrap and you are out!

Shocking delivery ordered over 2.5 hours ago rang twice to get same response sorry it’s next delivery this is all lies. Then ring to say forget it just want a refund to get phone slammed down and calls blocked DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

Everything perfect as always. Been using these guys for years (previously located in Hadfield) best pizza/kebab and chips in the area. They also make the best fatayers that aren't on the average menu!

Burgers good but the Donner meat was inedible rock hard ..disappointing to say the least !

Been going here for takeaways for 30 years, always great. But, had chicken as a topping tonight on a meat feast for the first time- that was disgusting excuse for chicken, worse than dog food. Really disappointed, no idea where they get that processed stuff from. Disgusting.

3 and a half hour wait- food was definitely not worth it. Poor girl answering the phone on her 2nd day left to field off complaints. Delivery girl practically blamed us for her not being able to find the address - even thoggh its on a main road!!! NEVER AGAIN

Was more than an hour late, pizza came lukewarm, was disgusting and my boyfriend is up vomiting in the toilet (very out of character) 60 minutes after consuming. Absolutely disgusting and would not recommend. When calling to ask where it was (after being an hour late) they said "we are just very bust at the moment".

Everytime I order from here i am either waiting 2 hours for a couple of pizzas and chips or my order is wrong. The last time I asked how long it would be he turned round to me and said why don't you pick it up!! Pizza is nice from here though but the service has got to be the worst I have ever experienced.

Terrible TERRIBLE service. Twice the order has been late and with items missing. Unfortunately, the place we swapped to wasn’t serving last night so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Spent £27 on a family combo. Order was around 35 minutes late and again had items missing. I rang to complain and was told they would deliver missing items. They never arrived. So annoyed. Wish I’d gone elsewhere. WARNING: waste of money, go somewhere else!!!

I paid for a romana pizza which was £13.40 and the other pizza I ordered a margarita with pepperoni and bacon which came to £12.70. the bill came to £15.70 as they charged me for the extra toppings on the margarita and put a 50p service charge on top. It's supposed to be buy one get one free. £15.70 for a 12" pizza then. Absolute joke of a shop.

Ordered under the name of Amy. Everything was fine but, they forgot 2 portions of chips. And it's really not hard to understand? You shouldn't run a business, if you can't deliver the food your customer has paid for. The kebab meet was dry and crispy too, not worth the money and especially without the chips!

We ordered a meal for three persons at 7.15pm, we was told it would be delivered by 8.45pm. At 8.40pm I telephoned them and the receptionist was very short and said " it's out for delivery" By 9.30pm the food had bot arrived and I called back with poor excuses and hadnt taken our details and said well refund you. No apologies, no nothing. Poor poor poor. Would never use again. Do not use.

Was told delivery would be 30 mins to 1 hour, was told repeatedly that the order was on its, then that the driver was stuck in traffic, finally had to call to cancel the order 2 and a quarter hours later.

Don't bother your order won't turn up and when you try and chase it up they'll just fob you off time and again.

Pizza finally got delivered 2.5 hours after ordering. I rang twice - the first time was about 15 minutes after it should have been here and got told it was on the way. The second time was about 15 minutes after that and got told that the driver had left a few minutes ago. When I asked why it was so late, he said something about the weather. The delivery driver was really polite but the food was shocking - cold, crushed and tasted like it had been left on the side for ages. I won't be ordering from here again.

Used to be a really good place but has gone down hill with a what appears to be a change in ownership, cold food once and given the wrong order on two other occasions. Won't be going back again!

This place has gone down hill iny opinion. The food is not as nice as it was once and last night they sent me a kebab with no nan bread. When I called to tell them this they just said we have been busy. So I asked when they bring the man bread I also want fresh meant and fries as I don't want to be microwaveing my tea. They agreed but 30 mins later I just get 2 nan breads. I won't be using them again. Not acceptable. We all make mistakes but the least they could of done is bring the food order the second time around correc.

So just ordered my pizza on just eat and as it was raining picked delivery and it came back that could deliver to me by 18,40 wow that's only 2 hours to make a pizza and deliver to someone half a mile away, just don't eat go elsewhere

Haha I had the respect to call to make sure your delivery drivers would have no problems before I ordered online and you hung up on me ! Well guess I'll order from some were with better manners!!

We live directly at the rear of glossop pizza, and have been using them for 13 months now. Have tried all types of food, and they are consistently amazing. On the 1 occasion the standards dropped due to being excessively busy, we spoke to them and they immediately refunded us with the same order for free which was amazing as usual. Highly recommended, the pizzas are the best in glossop by far

Always mess up orders! Worst place in Glossop!!! Would recommend microwave pizzas over theirs.

Refused to deliver food after an hour and 40mins of when we first ordered and gave some rubbish excuse when we asked why? The person we spoke to was rude and hung up on us when we challenged what we were supposed to do next? Will not be attempting to order from their in the future.

Very time we come in here we start off with a coffee which always has to be sent back to be reheated! At Christmas they had lovely tomato soup but it wasnt hot enough and we sent that to be reheated. Only have polenta chips and no regular ones so no chips. Bit of a dead loss really. Won't be coming back.

Piazza Express in Glossop is spacious n free parking is available st the square. Menu is standard but good. Service was good. Went there for lunch n ordered a few items but were told unavailable. Then chose 2 starters n 2 pizzas. It was surprisingly tasty n delicious. Will recommend...

It states that pizzas are buy one get one free but they're £12 each, you can get pizzas at pizza plus for £4 each so you're paying less for 2 pizzas without a deal than you are on the so called buy one get one free deal.Avoid - pizza is nice but over priced, go to pizza plus

I would not pay ten quid for cheese on toast

Visited on a cold and dark November night and although I got there about 18:30 the place was already pretty full, a good sign! Got seated straight away by a friendly waiter who sorted a drink out pronto, another good sign! The menu in Pizza Express is pretty much Nationwide, so knew what to expect. Main was hot and the helping sufficient leaving room for my favourite Italian sweet, tiramisu! I wasn't disappointed. Prices are a tad high for what is essentially a cheap meal to prepare, but when you are away from home......Service was good with a super friendly waiter.

Had to order a large amount of pizza for a party we ordered and had it delivered driver was polite so gave a good tip wish we hadn't on opening the larger pizzas they were all squashed into the sides of the box and I don't just mean a little bit it was like 1/2 of the pizza luckily I could salvage most of it for our guests will think twice before ordering from here again

He probado otras pizzas en Glossop y sigo regresando. La corteza es lo que me gusta, pero no es difícil y delgadas la cantidad de queso y coberturas, normalmente sólo tienen una pizza porque es comprar uno obtenga uno gratis, que lo dejarán de la diferencia en el precio. Definitivamente, el mejor en mi opinión.

Great pizza. 2 for 1 if you collect as well. Cheapest and poss best pizza in Glossop. Friendly owner too

Pedimos 2 pizzas. Sin pepperoni tanto, uno era un mexicano y el otro por desgracia una margarita gratis con carne picante y el jalapeño no podíamos distinguirlas, ya que ambos se les veía y sabía idénticas... dan un pan de ajo que estaba bien. Probablemente probaré otro sitio la próxima vez que estemos en glossop.
