Hadn't been to one of these for years, I now know I haven't missed anything. Definitely a good branch, with attentive staff, unfortunately food is bland and all our dishes were served luke warm. Wouldn't bother going again.

Went inside and was told to wait while staff chatted.not good! Waited about 10 mins before being seated and then it was just near the entrance and not realy inside main place.staff need to learn how to treat people better

We were upstairs, no atmosphere or waitress for much of the time. Very slow to take drink order and 50mins before food order. Drinks were served out of order. Food arrived staggered, one arrived after some had finished. £100 taken off for 7 people but evening ruined.

Had an amazing time at Prezzo, the Salad and the Pizza was great! Definitely worth going again.

Restaurant very cold had to keep your coat on and food very basic and doesn’t match the price waitress had couldn’t care less attitude

A number of us went to Prezzo for a Christmas meal. We noticed that there were very few waiting staff available and had to ask a number of times for the festive menu, tapwater, alcoholic drinks and so on. Each time we came to a new course, we needed to ask again for menus and attention. Three of us chose to have the spaghetti with crab and chilli. Unfortunately, the chilli was so strong that it completely overrode the dish and two of us ate less than half, with the third person eating a little more. We brought this to the manager’s attention, however, nothing alternative was suggested or money knocked off the bill. The tiramisu dessert was very stodgy, claggy, and over-sweet. Again, and highly unusually, a number of us were unable to finish it. All in all this was a really disappointing meal. Paying over £50 service charge for a distinct lack of service was also not ideal.

The worst service I have seen in ages. We chose to have our work Christmas dinner. That was the biggest mistake. It was very cold inside restaurant. Nobody was coming to take our order. We had to chase them up to take our orders. Food was not great. I will never go back there again. It spoiled our evening and caused us stress.

I had the Sea Bass in tomato sauce and aubergines. Just the sort of food I love. Shame they couldn't give me a piece of bread to go with it they could only offer garlic bread. Made the most of the free prosecco. Thanks Prezzo.

We had a lovely birthday celebration last night at Prezzo in Banstead. It was really easy to book a large table (total of 13 people including some wheelchair users) and they have catered to all our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we felt really comfortable and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious! All my residents and staff had an excellent celebration thanks to the amazing team at Prezzo! Thank you for everything and we will definitely return in the near future!

Although I have eaten at Prezzo's a few times before. I am leaving my review for them this time as I was completely let down by the lack of a welcoming service. My husband and I stopped by to see if there was a table free last Friday night. When we entered there was no one at the entrance where the reservations are made. We waited for 5 minutes and could clearly see a waitress with long blonde hair in a ponytail cleaning glasses. She had definitely seen us but continued with her job. We assumed that if this was not her responsibility that someone else would come forwards from within the restaurant which is set back slightly. We continued to wait, we saw a waitress and a lady who I believe is the manageress talking within the restaurant, but they did not glance up and see that we were waiting and now also another lady had come in behind us. I tried to catch the lady with the blonde hair's eye or the waitresses within the restaurant but I could not. Finally the lady with the long blonde hair came out without a smile or greeting. She just looked at me inquisitively. I explained that we'd been waiting for some time trying to catch someone's eye and she did not apologise, which would have just been good manners, I said we were looking for a table for two, she said "Is it a walk in?". I said yes but by this time was really unenthused in staying at the restaurant. In fact my husband and I were so "not in the mood" for our Friday night out at Prezzos that we said thank you very much to the waitress and turned and left. We went to the Woolpack and had a fantastic meal with great atmosphere and service. Prezzos has the potential to be very good. When we have eaten there before the food has been nice and the manageress has been very attentive once we've been seated. Prezzos really need to work on the greeting of their customers and possibly set up some way of them being able to alert the staff to the fact that people are waiting.

Service wasn't good, we arrived 2.30ish there were only two other tables occupied however our order was taken fairly swiftly having eaten our main course the plates were removed but no mention of deserts or drinks, we thought the waiter was coming back with the desert menu. By this time, we were the only people in the restaurant. we eventually caught someone's eye to ask for the desert menu, there was then a mix-up regarding ordering a mini desert and coffee to be told by waiter that's not what the menu says you have to order a desert and a drink separately

Prezzo seems to be off their game lately. Last few visits the food has been underwhelming and very pedestrian. Pizza served cold with aubergines that seemed incorrectly prepared. One was like leather and inedible. They need to get on top of it as kitchen seems to have slipped lately sorry to say. Disappointed.

Service was bad 35 min wait for main course which was supposed to be crab and lobster stuffed ravioli but wasn’t…. We couldn’t decide what was in it. Never go again. Very expensive too.

The service is always too notch. Lovely Dee serves us with the biggest smile and provides good recommendations from the new menu! The children enjoy their food and it’s usually always a good night out! Would recommend.

Service is Ok but the the Place is way to Expensive. The Sauce was Watery & Food was Not Hot. The Place is Always Empty which is not surprising if you Rip People Off!

Walked in on a quiet Tuesday evening, had a booking and yet no-one was taking care of front of house. Waited almost 10 minutes whilst 7 staff members walked past us (some twice) without even an acknowledgement. We should’ve taken this as a hint and gone somewhere else. We only ate there as we had a discount voucher that was close to expiry. The staff were highly uninterested and too busy talking other languages amongst each other. The food was pretty bland and had a very long wait time, for no reason know to us. Had to ask for basic condiments instead of being offered and when trying to get the bill were completely ignored. Can’t complain about a free dinner of course! Had someone been more on top of waiting staff, we would’ve paid for our meal, but we weren’t going to wait all night!!

Busy and noisy when we visited so quite popular. Unfortunately the chicken was dry in the marsala and mushroom dish and the sauce was watery. The strawberry sundae used frozen strawberries so was nothing like the promotional photo. Despite this an enjoyable evening.

Haven't been for few years but this place has really gone downhill. The place was half empty at 8:00 pm, we ordered drinks which took ages to arrive, in fact our starter arrived before the drinks. Gin and tonic served in an ordinary glass with one small slice of lime, all for over £10.00. The food menu never seems to change much, but the prices do, upwards, making this one of the more expensive local places to eat. I've been many times before and the place seems to have lost its vibe/atmosphere and needs a complete rethink before it ends up on the list of restaurants Prezzo are closing. To top all this off, when paying I'm told the restaurent is cashless and won't accept my cash, there is no mention of this anywhere, nothing when you book online, no mention of this when you enter the restaurant, luckily I was able to use my card but be warned, it you come here with a pocket full of cash, it won't be accepted.

Lovely place to eat. Tasty and reasonable. Nice decor. Aleks was very attentive and friendly.

Where do I start? Poor quality food served by disinterested inexperienced staff. One positive. It's consistent. No wonder they're shutting down up and down the country. Really awful food.

Very nice ham, mascapone cheese, & mushroom pizza. It was flavoursome & big. Will be back for more soon .

Really disappointed with both the food and service of Prezzo. The starter was very good however the mains were under average and my friend couldn't even eat half her dish. Our waitress was quite forgetful and we just asked another waitress to get us what we initially ordered for drinks. We won't be going back.

It was all ok but over priced for what it was especially the sweet. Tiny portion for inflated price. Service was OK but again nothing special.

The restaurant was nicely laid out but it was apparent that our table was an addition. The food was nice when it came and was piping hot. We asked if we could order drinks as no one came to the table initially. Waited about 20 mins after ordering for the arrival of the food, which seemed to be a bit long, and there was a back door open as it was draughty and cold. It was not the best of experiences because of the cold weather but the staff were pleasant enough when asked if the air conditioning could also be made warmer. Couldn't understand the air conditioning!

The girls who were hosting were great, helpful and friendly but not sure what’s wrong in the kitchen. Order the crab and lobster ravioli and paid £17.50 for 9 pieces of ravioli. After we mentioned it to the hostess the chef in the kitchen gave me some very dirty looks as I walked past the kitchen to wash my hands.

Such bad service waited so long to have our plates taken away... We wanted dessert but decided to just get the bill as we waited so long had to ask someone to just come and take a payment... We probably could have just walked out as we were just forgotten about Was a shame as the food was good

I bought calzone and was very disappointed with the fillings. It does not taste good and so annoying to see fillings only at the centre of the cakzone 😕, not worth for paying the £16+ cost!

No heating on we were all freezing sitting with our scarves on

I do like going to prezzo when I meet with work collegues. Recently when I went I was pleasantly surprised by the change of menu...which is for the better. Really delicious food and you get money off blue light card too 💙 would definately recommend 👌🏼

Nice clean space. Decent menu and 3 generations all had a lovely lunch. No one rushed us at any point. Would definitely go back.

Great food - poor service. No smile, no please, no thank you. We have asked for drinks - never received it, we have asked for pizza cutter- never received it. Waited an hour for the main course- pizza. Prezzo in Banstead has definitely gone downhill.

Our first and probably last time at Prezzo. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience at all. We ate at Prezzo on a Sunday evening, it was not busy at all. We had to wait at least 10 minutes to get our drinks (after asking for them). Followed by a bumpy ordering process. The waitress came back to confirm our orders. A chicken caesar salad and a pizza. I actually got a salad without chicken (??). Of course I had to send this back, the chef was immediately very defensive as it had to be related to the waitress's mistake. First and foremost, I felt sorry for the chef as he was visible to the whole restaurant through the open kitchen. In general I think that unfortunately in our society we have been told/educated over several generations not to make mistakes. It's very sad, it doesn't bother me, these things can happen and it's not a big deal. But when I received my correct order in the end, without a single tone of regret, I felt disappointed! Dear Prezzo, please keep an eye on your staff, encourage them to be friendly, allow them to make mistakes and remind them to use common sense and good manners!

Despite the pizza oven breaking down as we got to Prezzo the staff all did their very best to accommodate any requests we had. The waitress Dee was fantastic!

Don't waste your money. Ordered a takeaway and asked for extra sauce Upon collection asked the staff to confirm that had been done He comes back 10 minutes later with the food and said it has extra sauce. Got home to discover the food was all Luke warm, the carbonara is dry and claggy, paid extra for chicken, to find only 2 pieces in each carbonara. There was pretty much no pancetta and the sauce was bland except for the occasional piece of pepper corn. Do yourself a favour and go to Prezzo in cheam village. The food is miles better

This is a great restaurant. There is very a good menu with a variety of items to suit most tastes. Service was very good as well. Definitely recommend this Restaurant.

Great service and freshly prepared Italian food

We discovered Prezzo Banstead last year and have been several times since. Not once had a bad experience. Staff are brilliant, as are the surroundings. My only gripe, and this not aimed at the Banstead restaurant, but Prezzo in general, and that is price rises, added to reduced ingredients. This double whammy takes the shine off a bit

Nice decor, high cealinged old building ( used to be a post office) seemed clean and friendly staff. Prices ok if you can get some kind of discount/ promotion as food nothing special. Usual pizza and pasta options. Seemed quite popular.

Love it my favourite restaurant

Lovely setting, food as expected but when did Prezzo get so expensive? Lunch for 2 adults and some small bites for a 3 year old and it came to nearly £100. I suppose everywhere is more expensive these days but I wasn’t expecting to pay that much today.

Have been here many times, has a very nice feel about it due to the old building. Good food & service as always.

This was our first time at Prezzo and would highly recommend. Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Tiana our waitress was very friendly and professional and we were very impressed with how the manager treated his staff. We heard him giving his staff great praise when needed, which is great to hear for confidence boosting. Will definitely be going back and will tell family and friends. Well done to manager, staff and compliments to the chef!! 👏👏👏👏

Took our daughter for a birthday dinner. Very long wait for tasteless and cold food, even though restaurant was half-empty. Disinterested waiting staff. Yes "nice decor" but was expecting rather more than just that. Really awful experience.

Prompt service, friendly staff, solid menu

Lovely decor, waitress was pleasant and took our order without us having to wait too long. The vegan hummus was tasty but the vegan pepperoni pizza was really bland. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The raspberry sorbet was lovely though. Could do with more choices than just one alcohol free beer selection for those driving though. All in all pleasant enough and good for a get together with friends as it's a large venue and was nice and warm which is nice on a cold winter night.

An amazing building for a Prezzo, makes it feel more of a special occasion. Food and service up to their usual high standards.

We go here regularly with our kids, live the restaurant lay out and the attentiveness of the lovely staff working there. Food menu has so much option and everything is very tasty. Nice drinks list too. Children get an activity sheet and individually wrapped crayon to use which keeps them occupied for a while. Car parking just next door. Wanted a pizza that wasn’t on the menu and they did it for me, kids portions very big good value for money. Never feel rushed and even got a deal with a bottle of free prosecco for my husbands birthday. If you work for John Lewis partnership you also get a 20% discount off the final bill. We will continue to visit this cosy restaurant.

Used to be a Tony Tobin restaurant, so the look of the restaurant is great. The chefs also did me a dish that wasn't on the menu which was amazing!

Amazing place. We made a mistake in our reservation but the staff made everything to find a table for us. Very grateful for it.

Had a lovely lunch here on Saturday with my husband. We hadn't booked but no problem getting a table. We were given a friendly welcome and shown to a cosy table at the back of the restaurant. It wasn't too busy. The young ladies serving us were friendly and efficient, and made us feel welcome. We had the meatballs and King Prawns to start, both very yummy. For mains we had the Penne Rusticana and the Grilled chicken with mushrooms and madeira sauce, absolutely scrumptious. Only downside I think is the quality of the wine, that could be much improved. However, it was a lovely experience and we'll be back very soon.
