Prezzo in Reigate and Banstead

This is a nicely presented restaurant, food is ok, unfortunately however the service is terrible .... we waited 10 mins to be seen or even acknowledged at front of house and seated despite a large que forming. After being seated it took ~25 mins to be seen for drinks order etc, (had to ask/beg for service), starter to main 50 mins!! remainder of the evening was a struggle to get any attention, staff simply are not interested ... in fact staff are too busy attending to the take-out (Uber Eats etc.) orders, packing Pizza box's, while in-house customers waited. Honestly PREZZO you have other local completion close-by that offer same food and far BETTER service! After MANY loyal years of visiting PREZZO, we will now be going to another local venue in the future!!

Disgusting! Don’t go! My fiend ate the spaghetti carbonara with chicken added and within 40mins was violently sick several times at the table and the absolute lack of care and concern have left us shocked! My friend is fit and healthy and was fine when we arrived so this was definitely caused by her meal. What’s worse is the duty manager who also claimed to be the first aider didn’t have a clue what to do. I had to ask for a a bowl and towels whilst me friend continued to be sick. This continued for approx 10-15 mins before we were able to move to the lobby area and call for help from home to collect her. At one point I thought we may need an ambulance as she was so unwell but after the sickness stopped she was a little more coherent. To make matters even worse as her husband came to collect here we were handed the bill with absolutely no kind of apology. Concern or discount for the food she had vomited back up and left over the table and floor!! I have never experienced anything like it.

Booked a meal for two this week. Recovering from surgery to my ankle I attended hobbling into the venue on crutches. On arrival lone bar staff more interested in making drinks for I assume already seated customers, than being proactive and seating us both. Another staff member appeared, ignored by them. Left standing. Bar staff member disappeared to deliver now made drinks. Left standing. Attended the needs of other customers while doing so. Left hanging for 10 mins and still standing. I requested to be seated to an area which I could see and would accomodate my injury. Offered seating away from restaurant in corner of bar alcove area. I dont expect to be fawned over but seating an injured customer I would have thought a priority over the completion of a drinks order. Declined and left for Pizza Express where the service was unquestionably efficient

Dee was absolutely wonderful taking care of us and making us feel very welcome. She told us all about new items on the menu and recommended various side dishes and drinks. She was so friendly and made our evening very special.

Very disappointed with the lack of staff, although they were busy their wasn't enough staff to cope with serving and tidying up. Customers were complaining left right and centre. We got there 5pm and didn't leave until 8.30pm. Not enough cutlery, very disorganised. The positive side of things, staff were very Apologetic, can't fault them, felt sorry for the way they worked very hard.

We waited 45 mins for a drink 2 beers the small one a short measure!! Food was ok but the service dreadful & certainly will not be frequenting here again Pizza Express up the road knocks the socks of Prezzo!!!!

I have come to Prezzos several times, particularly as I have a Tastecard. Usually, the only let down is the hygiene of the toilets - which are commonly known to be grimy. I tend to turn a blind eye as the food is good and staff are nice. Yesterday, not only were the toilets horrific (layers of grim, which could not possibly be accumulated in just a few hours), but went to pay at the bar, and there were DOZENS of ants crawling all over the bar, coffee machine, products. I pointed this out and the response was - oh really, we hadn’t noticed. To have that volume of ants means there is a route in and nest. And to have that many with an open kitchen next door, I dread to think what’s crawling in there. When there is limited hygiene in the bathrooms and bar, I don’t want to know the state of the kitchen. Anyone who had a coffee last night, ants were crawling up machine and the carton of milk left out!!

Went for dinner on a Wednesday night and suprised how busy it was. Luckily we had booked as restaurant practically full by 1930. Nice pizza, burger and dessert. Food is a bit pricey, but reasonable with a discount voucher such as Meerkat deal giving 25% off. Staff were working hard and all very pleasant. We look forward to our next visit.

Food is pricey and I was disappointed by the quality of the ingredients. Decided to just have a starter and salad to cut my losses as I was disappointed by the menu. Side salad was iceberg lettuce with two unripe cherry tomatoes and a few slices of cucumber. Antipasto did not have quality ingredients. It all reminded me of airline food. I remarked to my friend that I wouldn’t be coming back and then the bill arrived. Cash not accepted; credit card only. No warning beforehand. That settled it - I definitely won’t be returning. Such a shame as the interior is attractive and it’s in a good location. I didn’t give it the lowest rating as the waitresses were very nice.

They removed a specific menu item off the menu and my brother who is severely autistic doesn't cope with sound noises and change so he was sitting with his iPad and headphones. Fine, but there was this party that had many screaming kids who were running around and screaming lots of people were looking - but what really did the worst was some kid took off his headphones and ran off. After my mum calmed him down we decided that he could just skip to dessert bc he didn't want anything else, and they removed the dessert he liked and got every time - needless to say he went into a episode and we left.

A lovely restaurant with friendly staff, however the service was just slow. Waited for our drinks order to be made, and then even longer for them to arrive. So made sure to call the waiter over as soon as we could to be able to order our mains. Which may as well have been pointless as it took years for the food to come too. Just myself and my dad. A pizza and a salad. The place was empty as well. Looking at other reviews this seems to be common but they clearly have no urgency to change.

This is a chain restaurant, but thought we’d give it a try. The space is bright and airy. Food was quite nice, better than we expected. Service was a bit lacking, especially considering that the restaurant wasn’t very busy. However, the manager gave us some lunch deal pricing without us asking, and it saved us a decent amount on the bill. Would likely go again.

Decor great ,food very good sticky toffee pudding far to sweet, Service absolutely rubbish main course arrived before drinks. long wait before asked if desert is wanted never asked if more drinks wanted waiter dropped a fork in a drink said he would replace drink took a long time .for three people only having a main course and a dessert each the whole meal took well over 1 hour 50 minutes I find this totally unacceptable and will never return

We had a group lunch here on the first Monday in July. The place was deserted apart from our group of 7. Nevertheless, the chef managed to burn the chicken in two of the orders, which they complained about to the waitress, but nothing was done about this. There were no eggs for the salad as none had been included in delivery and they didn’t have any petty cash to go out and buy a box of eggs from next door. Another two meals were cold. We won’t be returning, although the waitress was lovely.

I did try Email but couldnt find an Email address. i eat from Prezzos alot in the restaurant but mainly through delieveroo. Last night 3 of us got delivery with a few differnt meals. calzone. pasta. meatballs starter. mozerella squares and cheesy garlic bread we all eat a little of everything excpet the meatballs 2 people eat the meatballs who then both were up all night being sick and have still been unwell today. I think maby the hygiene and the dates of the food need to be looked in to. As this has now put us all of to ever eat here again when we have been ordering a minimum once a week for a few months.

This is place where service is exceptional! Not other restaurant in Banstead ... Was not very busy , but fantastic ambience and value for money menu.

Service was good - relaxed and friendly. Food, in the main was very boring. Starters: calamari - the best of our choices - really very good. hummus: tasteless slop in a bowl with very salty bread - not good. Mains: Chicken Alfredo with pasta: again tasteless, over cooked chicken, gloopy pasta - i ate about a third of it. Burger: very average - not particularly good meat : doughy brioche and more salty fries than necessary - my partner ate about half of it. We decided against the limited desert menu. We won't be rushing back - you can get much better meals in the area for similar money.

Went last night for my daughters 18th birthday meal and it was lovely. Staff were very friendly and all wished my daughter a happy birthday. Will definitely go again

Family celebration - arrived without a booking at 6pm on a Friday. The host switched a few things around and found us a table and we settled in. Four of us went here for a Birthday lunch and there were only twelve other people in the restaurant so it was nice and quite for a change as this place can be very noisy when busy. The waitresses were very friendly and took our drinks order quickly.there appeared to be only one chef on duty so when they came with our food they had completely missed one of the staters so as everybody else had hot ones we eat ours and the missing one came well after we had finished. Unfortunately there was nor real apology. The rest of the meal was ok. After we had paid and got up to leave there was only one waitress left and she was busy lighting candles for the tables, she made no attempt to get our coats so we had to get our own on the way out. Not impressed.

Food is always great, the restaurant is always spotless and you can always get a great deal, just go on prezzo website and download a voucher. They often have 25% off total bill, 40% off mains or kids eat for £1 - amazing deal for the quality of food and lovely ambience

A pleasant evening. Relaxed atmosphere. Good food served by friendly efficient staff. House red wine pleasant enough. Excellent grappa. I only knew this morning that my wife felt her chicken was overcooked, but in fairness to Prezzo, they can't fix what they don't know about! Overall a pleasant evening. Would we come again? - Yes.

Was invited to my nephews 40th birthday celebration. It was held upstairs in the private room above the restaurant but catered by Prezzo. A delightful room, the waiting staff were exceptionally they could not do enough for us,nothing was too much trouble. If you have something special to celebrate this is the place to go

Very disappointed starter arrived with main course said they forgot to bring it before. Food very bland and cold. Staff ok but when I said it was my granddaughter birthday I had to buy a desert so they could put in a candle in it. We went on a Saturday evening with friends. We chose from the set menu, 2 courses £11.50 or 3 courses £14. I chose calamari to start, which was lovely and I had an arrabiatta with mozzarella for main, which was also good. I found the staff to be unfriendly and service very slow. We were kept waiting to order drinks, and then the same again with food and had to wait ages for the bill.

Had a most pleasant meal at Prezzo Banstead this afternoon. My wife and I, or should I say Mother and I were taken by the children for Mother’s Day celebration. It was busy, in fact manic, but amazingly the service was very efficient just like any other Sunday afternoon. Food was as always predictable and to Prezzos usual standard. Well done Prezzo Banstead, we have never had a bad meal here and we have been to this branch more times than we can remember. Thank you for making Mother’s Day so memorable.

This restaurant has been a firm favourite over the last few years but the service and food have recently gone downhill. The seems to be a change of staff who aren’t particularly friendly and there was a lot of waiting between courses. I don’t think we’ll return, which is a shame as we used to have lovely meals there.

We had a great time out last night in here. My pizza and my friends pasta was amazing, tasty and looked great. Will be back very soon.

We visitied Prezzo's in Banstead Saturday night, after quite a long time of not going there, as previously found it to be, a bit rushed, to say the least. However, we were greeted at the door by Gabor having booked on the net. Once seated and prior to ordering, we requested that perhaps between courses we could have a 10/15 minute break, as it is good to have a little break, to let food goKind Re down, visit rest rooms etc, and he got this arranged straight away, and so by doing that, increased the pleasure of the visit, as no longer felt rushed to eat, and get out so they can fill the table again, so much much better, and a very special thank you. Booked on-line, we were greeted by Gabor within 30 seconds of arriving and shown to our table. Food very good as usual, king prawns with a chilli pomodoro sauce.absolutely delicious. We requested, and got, a 15 minute break between courses as past experience tells us that sometimes things can get a bit rushed. Absolutely brilliant service by waiting staff, especially Gabor.

We visited Prezzo restaurant in Banstead first time with our residents on Valentine’s Day. Everyone had a great time and very delicious meals. All the staffs were very friendly, helpful and kind. Visited Prezzo and had a evening meal. The starters was nice but not impressed by the calamari starter. The main meals were brilliant the prawn and salmon risotto was very nice. Did not have a sweet but the did look nice.

Was going through my reviews and can't believe I'd never reviewed this restaurant! We eat here at least once a month and thoroughly enjoy our visit. From the moment you are greeted by the wonderful staff and take in the embience of your beautiful surroundings we feel immediately comfortable. The food in this establishment is, in my opinion, so much better than other Prezzos I have been in. Our favourite go to restaurant for a relaxing, value for money eat. See you soon!!

Have been to this branch a few times and the service is always slow no matter how busy they are. Went with a very young family and we were one of two tables occupied. The time between ordering and receiving our food was laughable which is emphasised when you need to keep 3 little ones occupied. Eventually when my main was received it was burnt so I returned it and had to wait even more time. Prezzo food is better than a lot of chains but I would not recommend this one just due to the lack of attention received from staff.

We popped in here on a Saturday afternoon. We all loved our food- calamari, beetroot gnocchi and bruschetta, followed by a chicken and avocado salad, burger, lasagne and salmon ravioli. Restaurant looked very festive. Service very friendly and efficient.

First visit to Prezzo. The closest comparison would be Zizzi over the road. The restaurant is nice but felt a bit pretentious and not very relaxing. Service ok not overwhelming. Food perfectly fine although spaghetti bolognaise a bit bland. I prefer Zizzis.

I visited this restaurant with my husband last night. everything was lovely, friendly service and amthmosphere. i would recommend it to everyone.

We’ve been here several times for family meals and the atmosphere and service are always great. On this Sunday evening visit, the restaurant was very busy but the staff coped with the pressure very well and sorted out a minor problem with our drinks order effectively. Our starters were great (the calamari and hummus in particular) but I didn’t really enjoy my carbonara al forno - it was very bland and the portion size was far too large. I enjoyed my mini-cheesecake and coffee though (I wish more restaurants would offer this choice) and my daughter enjoyed her sticky toffee pudding.

This was our first visit to Prezzo Banstead. The decor is lovely with a fabulous pizza oven and the staff are friendly. We had a lovely three course meal. Our main courses took a while to arrive but the staff apologised genuinely and it came soon after. The restaurant was very busy but with a good atmosphere. Starters, Pizza, pasta and deserts were all lovely.

Visited again prezzo banstead, as it was my friend s birthday. She got a voucher for a bottle of Prosecco, we only had to pay for food, which was very tasty. Very good price with the voucher and we had a memorable night. Restaurant was 90% full, but service still on top. Would highly recommend, we re coming back on my birthday as well with a group of people can't wait.

We to the Banstead branch on our 9th anniversary together with (now) mybusband. We were welcomed with a nice big smile by the manageress, who with the team took good care of us throughout the whole evening. Food was also fresh and delicious as always. I’ve had good meals, and I’ve had bad meals here. Same problem as pizza express next door, it’s eother too noises or silent. Got a good range of food on the menu though.

Today’s set menu lunch was very good, in terms of taste, quality, service and value. We called in unplanned and we were greeted promptly, warmly and were given a good table. This was a good experience.

Pizza options are diverse and varied, good prices and tasty. Great atmosphere, crowd every time i visit. Would highly recommend it.

I visited Prezzo with my friends on a busy Friday evening and we were amazed by the staff. Kitti and Viktor made us feel so special, the food was absolutely delicious. We will come back soon for sure.

Had a very tasty meal, and the service couldn’t have been better. The waiter couldn’t have been more patient with a table of 7. The staff were very friendly and welcome, they all have friendly smiles that completed the warm atmosphere. Our waiter was also very understanding of the trouble we had with our method of payment. Decided to go here at the last minute and were surprised how busy the restaurant was, however we were shown upstairs where there were only two other people. By the time we ordered our drinks and food some more people came in. By the time we’re ready to leave the upstairs was buzzing. Good food as always.

Decided to pop along to our local Prezzo on strength of a useful discount voucher but discovered it had closed down in July hence Banstead was an alternative venue. It didn’t disappoint. We were shown to very good table with comfortable seating. Menu had a good choice and we all had a different main dish certainly no complaints, Desserts were dilecious and I really like the smaller dessert with coffee.

The waiter misheard our order then was shocked when we asked for it to be changed to what we actually asked for. Then proceeded to go and talk about us with the chef and the waitress (who’s attitude was disgusting) RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. Horrible service, made us feel really uncomfortable

Me and my wife had our first anniversary and we just wanted something local. We tried Prezzo as we were recommended to. It was a very good decision. Everything was just perfect. We will come back soon.

I have been here a few times on special occasions and just for a nice lunch or dinner.

This Prezzo does have a very smart, stylish interior and on arrival we were greeted well.
