Pizza Express in Bromley

My experience there was amazing and and it was all thanks to Kasia!! It was such a lovely time and the food of course was perfect❤️

Waitress did not mention at all that kids eat free when adults purchase a main meal.

We ordered a margarita pizza and they must of run out of mozzarella, as instead there was some kind of cheese sauce on the pizza instead of mozzarella.

I visited Bomley South Pizza Express today, and I was impressed with the service. The manager, I did not get his name, received us with good humour and took us to our table. My husband thought he looked like a young Sergei Lavrov, and his diplomatic skills were equally as good. Salome, who served us, was very friendly and attentive, and made sure that our experience was good, and she surprised my son who turned 13 years today with a birthday candle in his desert. The food was up to the usual Pizza Express standard, so great food and top-notch service! 5/5 stars!

Salome went above and beyond. Extremely attentive and took time to show us the way around the app and get the best value for money. Will always come back and spend more because of it!

Restaurant not to busy when we arrived just after 5pm Friendly staff and food service was good. Sadly as always in Pizza Express restaurants the WiFi is awful and unable to connect. Your encouraged to download the app as you get rewards but if you can't get a signal and log in you are unable to access the rewards, all very frustrating. Please improve the WiFi in all the Pizza Express restaurants.

We’ve had a lovely Saturday evening here. Food was delicious and our waiter Salome was very attentive and friendly.

We spent a lovely Sunday evening!! Food was amazing and tasted very fresh. I enjoyed my American pizza and my partner loved Lasagna (she said it’s one of the best she’s every had). arrived on time but not seen for 20 mins. then starter not served for another 35 mins. when asked why delay was informed they were busy with takeaway orders and a shortage of dow. my wife's gluten free dow balls were hardly asked. our pizzas arrived, when asked why long delay was informed,again was informed takeaways come first and lack of dow. the manager/ supervisor declined to come and speak to us about complaints. we saw two other parties leave due to the excessive waiting and lack of concern from the staff.

Freezing cold like it was driven with nothing keeping it warm. Dry and rock hard but I’m guessing that’s because it was so cold

We often pop in to this branch for lunch. It’s also a lovely place to celebrate, as the staff are so friendly and the food it’s always on point. Food it’s always hot, fresh and tasty! Staff are polite and friendly. One of the managers a guy always serves us with a smile and is always so welcoming! Thank you for making this occasion so wonderful!

Fantastic staff great and attentive in a nice clean and modern restaurant

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times now but yesterday was not a good experience. I'd booked and when I arrived the waiter asked my name and then proceeded to seat the person behind me. He then didn't bother showing me to my table, just dumped some pens and menus on a table across the room. The restaurant was pretty empty at this point. I asked for a bigger table so my daughter could do the drawing but was told this would mean changing the system. The food was ok and the waitress I eventually got was very good. I'm a big fan of pizza express, but this one is lacking. Bromley north is way forward

The food was cold, undercooked and clearly zero effort was put into the food. Absolutely horrible

This was the worst “Italian” meal I have ever had! I had roasted parmesan chicken with linguine. Plus a salad plate and a large Primitivo. The large Primitivo was a small glass of sweet cheap liquor, perhaps Chianti. When asked about its size, the glass disappeared again for five minutes and then reappeared dirty and slightly refilled. The salad consisted of a handful of lamb's lettuce, two small cherry tomatoes and two slices of cucumber without any spices and the "chicken" was a slice of breaded pressed meat in the exact shape of toast with a slice of cheese, but no parmesan. The linguine was partially burnt, even though the breading was still soggy. The tomato sauce didn't taste like anything, not even like tomato like everything else didn't taste like anything. Of course there was no salt or pepper to season at the table. All this for a fun 36 pounds. So I strongly recommend avoiding the restaurant!

It was a busy saturday night and I was served with great hospitality, care and attentiveness. The staff was quick and helpful with the app and other enquiries that we had and did not hesitate to make sure everything was okay. I definitely recommend this place. I don’t ahve the name of the young girl that served us but she was blonde and had a ponytail, she was so sweet and inviting as well as made sure that we were satisfied with the food.

After taking the kids to the cinema, my friends and I decided to go here for dinner and we’ve had an awful experience. From the moment we walked in, one of the waiter asked us to shut the door even though we were trying to get in with the kids and the buggies. Then he rolled his eyes out when trying to find us a table to sit down. Pizza was very different from the other Pizza Express which we usually go to. After finishing our food , we wanted to get the bill and pay but the waiter was at the table behind us showing everyone how to access the wifi and stayed there for 10 minutes , completely ignoring us. I went up to the manager and asked to pay as the kids were tired and started to cry. We were given the bill and then he said to wait again for the payment. In the end, we managed to pay and leave. I wouldn’t normally write a bad review , as I understand that people can have a bad day sometimes, nor when they are busy. I know and I totally understand it and never complained anywhere about taking longer to get the food or to place an order, but i cannot accept to be treated like this, when i only wanted to have a nice evening with my friends and the kids at a place that we would normally love.

Food was ordered 17.42pm. Did not arrive til 19.18pm. Delivery time on the app kept moving later. The food was soggy when it arrived. Not the usual experience from Just Eat.

I had a wonderful experience here! The manager was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The rest of the staff was also friendly and quick with their service. They looked very stressed but still did their very best. Highly recommend this place for a great meal and excellent hospitality! Today, we celebrated our daughters birthday with a party at this Pizza Express for a pizza making party. A group of 10 children attended, we had an absolutely amazing time and cannot thank the staff enough for making our daughters pizza making party special. A big thank you to Eddie who really went above and beyond to make the 2 hour party extra special. The team did everything they could to help and we literally didn’t have to do anything, the party beat our expectations and Eddie did a fantastic job entertaining the children. Would 10/10 recommend, one friend already booked her daughter’s party today based on her experience with you. THANK YOU!

Went last Sunday for a toddler’s birthday party and kids and adults alike had a blast thanks to Maia and the pizzaiolos who put on a show for the kids who absolutely loved it. Worth noting the pizza making class is a well oiled experience they loved to follow the instructions, peeping the pizza dough, putting down the tomato sauce and ingredients and of course eating their pizzas. Last time I went to a Pizza Express it felt dated, average food and and experience. But this time made me reconsider my opinion as it was positively fun!

We celebrated my daughter’s 5th birthday with a pizza making party at PE St Marks Square and to quote her, it was “the best party ever”. The staff were so accommodating and they led the activities so well considering they are only 5 years old, they were laughing and excited throughout, apart from near silence when they ate their food. All the mums really enjoyed the time to chat and also take lots of photos and help out. I absolutely recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back. The value for money for the party and extra food is really good, ans all unfinished kids pizzas were taken home.

I waited over 1 hour for a driver to pick-up and still they didn't so I ended up driving to the restaurant to collect it myself.

My son had an absolutely brilliant time for his surprise birthday family party at St Marks… Tomaso and Elvira made sure that everyone was well taken care of, and they went above and beyond with service, friendliness and care. The food was delicious and they were patient with our large groups order… even helping in serving our own cake instead of us ordering pudding. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for a lovely time and great memories for my son 😊

Appalling experience. Ordered pizzas and salad at 7.15pm, got them 8.25pm, 5 minutes before our film was due to start (last Wednesday). No apology. When we asked to pay promptly, please the bring the card machine, the waitress (or manager) never came back and we were left waiting again. Won't go back.

Fabulous food, fast service. We dined at about 5pm on a Saturday, so was a bit quieter, but nice table in front on the window for myself and 2 daughters.

I booked a table at Pizza Express recently, citing four people in the booking. We had to add another person at the last moment, this was no problem for the staff who accommodated us from the moment we arrived. They made great recommendations for us, serving us quickly and making us feel at home. The restaurant was very busy with couples and families who were clearly enjoying themselves - the staff managed all of this efficiently. The managers took time to check if we were happy with the service and the food. The ambience was lively and just what we wanted and I was happy that the cleanliness of the restaurant was very good. We had a very enjoyable experience and have already booked to come back - I think this will be our go to choice when we want a reliable local pizzeria with staff who are interested and engaged!

Staff were inattentive, didn't bother to check in with us, left our starter plates on the table making the table very cluttered for the main course, was not offered and salt, pepper, garlic oil or chilli oil. No one bothered to ask if the food was OK. I was watching the staff busy themselves with the other tables though. I was embarrassed taking an overseas visitor to this restaurant giving them their first experience of Pizza Express cos they dont have one in Canada. Vegetarian options are gross. Massively overpriced for a plate of boiled pasta that they get in frozen and just defrost when ordered. After being a very long loyal customer of Pizza Express, I won't ever be back.

Brilliant food time from start to End

Now I haven't been to a pizza restaurant in at least 20 years, so thought...why not give it a go...so we did. Okay, pizza's aren't exactly Haute cuisine and are not complicated to make but you can make them stodgy and tasteless or full of flavour and yummy. I had a the Romana Spicy Guiseppe, which was huge and indeed full of flavour. My wife had the same but in the classic version. We were more than happy with our choices. Mia the most excellent waitress, who I can't recommend enough, allowed us to have a taster of one of the wines and my wife lost as my choice was better...🤣 Which means that for a pizza restaurant, their choices of wine were good. Will definitely go back sometime and again, three cheers for Mia the most friendly of waitresses.

I love the food from here. The service by the woman was great but she was trying to do us and a few other tables all on her own so made the waits for ordering anything or paying slightly longer.

My daughter had her birthday party at St Mark’s Square Bromley Pizza Express and she had a wonderful time with her friends. The staff were amazing with the children, so well organised and kept them entertained. I would definitely recommend.
