Pizza Express in Milton Keynes

My daughter took part in a pizza-making party yesterday and absolutely loved it! It was such a great experience for her and all of her friends. She enjoyed the pizza so much that she ate it all! Thank you for a wonderful event.

Stopped by for only a few starters and a drink and it was a great experience. Food was delicious, customer service was great and our waiter was amazing and very careful with our order.

Sadly the delivery man couldn't decide where to stop and went backwards and forwards until a friend went out and asked him if he was delivering pizza. Hence, by the time I got to eat it, it was not very hot. The pizza itself was delicious.

Had an hour and 5 mins delivery time at confirmation. Then it was 20 mins late arriving. Must have been cooked immediately as it arrived stone cold.

Amazing. The service was incredible- the food was gorgeous. Overall, great experience. Will be back.

The service was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dining experience. I ordered a vegan Giardiniera pizza without mushrooms, and the server acknowledged my request. However, when the pizza arrived, it still had mushrooms on it. On top of that, the base was undercooked and tasted awful. To make matters worse, the server mentioned that olives would be served as a complimentary starter, yet I was charged for them when the bill arrived. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone searching for a quality pizzeria.

Well, where do I start. I arrived back at my hotel room excited to order from this establishment. Let’s just say my enjoyment soon fizzled out when my delivery driver decided to do a tour of Milton Keynes instead of bringing me my supposedly tasty pasta meal for 1 and doughballs. I waited 2 hours for a seemingly microwave pasta and doughballs that could’ve been mistaken for golf balls. My son was extremely hungry by the time the food had arrived and was quite frankly wasting away.JOKE!

I would not even give a single star to this place 😤. The servers were really very good though the food was really bad. Me and my brother were very disappointed with it pizza was uncooked and it has started giving me a stomach ache. Whoever is planning to visit this place please don't even consider. Overall me and my brother found the waitress really cute and really very quick ( thought we waited for literally 15 mins for someone to come and take the payment and the restaurant was literally empty).

Busy but to be expected during school holidays. Friendly, fairly quick service with a smile 😊

Wrong pizza and also a missing item.

Everything was ok just I wanted to commented that the code didn’t get through when the courier wanted to validate it. It didn’t recognised the code. He was polite and nice.

Good food. Service was average but it was peak times so I appreciated the fact that the staff were rather busy. Awful atmosphere, too noisy and the tables were crammed in next to each other so we felt like we were practically sat on the same table as people next to us.

There were food scraps under the tables, and it was highly unpleasant to endure the senior staff's profane language every time she went to the kitchen.

This is a frozen pasta. Super small portion. I would give a one star but the garlic bread was great. I would just avoid that pasta

Pizza was cold, rubbery base. The pizza wasnt even cut up which makes it worse, I now know why they are offering discounted orders. I would not recommend

Food was the usual good standard but the restaurant was freezing. We moved tables as it was so cold, other tables also complained. It was quiet and we felt very rushed to finish our meals. Staff stacking up tables when we were still eating and senior staff comparing their Christmas sales purchases! Not very professional.

Order never arrived but I have still been charged.

We had a relaxing meal there after a busy morning of Xmas shopping. Nice atmosphere and good quality food, though felt it was a bit on the expensive side to be honest. Special mention to our waitress Amelia, who was very polite and extremely helpful throughout. A credit to the restaurant. Will visit another time, purely based on the food and service we received.

We ordered fir our party of 6 for our Christmas work meal and one member of pur party asked to have a dessert with our starters as she likes to eat just sweet things, we were assured this was no issue. Our starters came and no dessert brought out, we asked if it was coming and were told it wont be long. Starters finished and then mains brought out, still no dessert even when all mains had been delivered. So again we ashed where is the desert order and another staff member went to ask the kitchen and said to us ot wont be long now. 10-15 mins into the mains being brought out we had to start without her (again) because ours was now getting cold. Again we asked our original waitress where is ut because we asked for it to cone with the starters and we got very flimsy excuses that because its a dessert it takes longer which is absolute rubbish because others in the restaurant would be ordering desserts and they were sweet doughballs so not like a lot of prep was needed. Finally they came when we were finishing our mains. Then at the end of the night i ordered a hot chocolate which as i drank got plastic in my mouth which was inside the drink! This was not a welcoming or good experience especially for a work party and a member of our team was left feeling very awkward and singled out, which is absolute rubbish shame because the food was nice.

Waitresses came across as cold and rude she also messed up the order after being told multiple times by multiple customers, manager did apologise and gave us a free replacement pizza. The pasta wasn't very flavoured, I personally didn't mind my pizza although they've taken a thin pizza to a new level I probably won't eat here again

Unlike the app, Freya was most helpful. She was patient and always friendly. Give her a huge pay rise. Like now!

We’ve had a very good evening at the restaurant în Mk Xscape. Even the restaurant was fully booked Celine did manage to accommodate us and made our day. She was very friendly, kind and helpful and we felt like special guests. The atmosphere was nice and calm as you’d expect. Great food and affordable prices. Would strongly recommend.

I ordered a dominoes after I ordered this and it arrived before the original pizza. Why did 1 pizza and some dough balls take 2 hours to arrive? Just cancel my order if you’re overwhelmed

i ordered a pizza and 2 sides and it took 2 hours after placing the order to receive my food. it was freezing cold and a waste of £25. still haven’t got a refund either.

Upon visiting MK again I had a pleasant visit previously and I thought it would be nice to go back however our server wasn’t friendly and seemed very much frustrated by having to take our order. He did not smile and he kept trying to walk off before we had finished ordering like he was in a rush to do something else. He really wasn’t friendly compared to the rest of the staff there. The gentleman who seemed like a manager was very helpful and chatty. Which almost made up for our servers attitude. My partner had gotten up to go to the toilet mid eating I had finished and the sever came over and started clearing away I said he’s eating but as he had already picked stuff up I let him carry on. The food was ok the dough balls were over done and my pizza was underdone. Maybe third time lucky if we are every back this way maybe we will give it a go but customer service training wouldn’t go a miss here with that server.

Really poor experience here today which was incredibly disappointing as we’ve always enjoyed going to the one in the Xscape. My main, the carbonara, wasn’t consistently cooked: hot in the middle, room temperature everywhere else, and then cold around the edges. The pasta was hard and cracked, and incredibly chewy… I’ve had carbonara plenty of times and this was the worst I’ve ever had. The staff seemed miserable and bored. Three of them were having loud back and forth which interrupted our experience, and just from overhearing the rest of their other conversations, it seems like there is little satisfaction with being on shift and a lack of communication amongst the team regarding customer orders and what table it’s supposed to go to (my husband's starter and our table being no.4, but from what I heard, it went elsewhere..). The starters were cooked and very tasty, but this isn’t enough for me to want to return. ‎Overall, disappointing; I’ll stick to the Xscape Pizza Express who have always been consistent and outstanding with their services!

Was accused of jumping the queue by a member of staff (nobody was waiting at the door when we first arrived). The member of staff had an awful smirk on her face and laughed whilst talking to me. She stood there pointing and arguing me like I was a naughty school child. I ended up walking out, not going to be called a liar and treated like that.

our waitress was very lovely and the food was good, however we were waiting a while for the bill so we asked the manager who was just walking around, she said very bluntly “no” and waved a menu at us and walked away rudely. let it go however she came back 5 mins later and said to us “ could you not see i was busy?” she was very arrogant and rude and completely ruined our experience there. she was also shouting at the waitresses on the pass where we could hear, throughout our whole meal, made it quite an unpleasant visit.

I came in today with 4 friends for one of their birthdays and I HAD to jump online and review our experience. It seems that nowadays, satisfactory customer service is hard to come by- however, I wanted to highlight the outstanding service we recieved while dining today; in particular, one member of staff who went above and beyond to make the evening incredibly enjoyable. My friends and I are under the impression that his name was Lewis, and we wanted to individually point out his friendliness, professional presence and dedication to making sure my friend was completely mortified (by bringing out a dessert with a candle and singing happy birthday). It was a such memorable evening, and I wanted to thank everyone at pizza express for such a lovely time, as good experiences often go unreviewed and, collectively, my friends and I couldn't leave our satisfaction unsaid. Hope this message is passed on to him. Will visit again.

Food was very poor and grossly overpriced We had lasagne it was disgusting a dish ful of slop frozen lasagne at its worst ninety odd pounds for 4of us won’t be going back

Came here for lunch with a friend. Really friendly experience from our server. She was so happy and cheerful. I am sorry I forgot her name but she did confirm she was Polish if this helps to get the feedback to her.

It was very busy when we went in and the matre d told us it would be at least 20min before there would be a table for six, available. It was suggested that we sit on the bench outside and they would call us when a table became available, and they did. Promt service with a smile and attention to detail. Good food provided by excellent service.

Foods and service are excellent but need some improvement other than food. I come during tea time. There is too much noise made by the staff in the open kitchen. Throwing things on the table hardly. Open and close the fridge hardly. I think they are expressing their anger. I was shocked by the terrible noise several times. Are they unhappy with their job? The waitress’s service is perfect. She is very efficient, only one staff to serve 5-6 tables at 4:30pm. Hope they can reduce much noise from the open kitchen. They scare many customers.

Only 4 stars because it was barely warm on arrival and cold by the time I finished it. But, it was delicious and totally gluten free!! Could pizzas not be delivered in some sort of insulated box, to make sure they stay hot? I'd gladly pay a bit more for this.

Asked for food for 18.00 turned up at 18.23.......every part of our order the food was extremely cold, do not really feel this is satisfying when spending this money on a meal......exceptionally dissapointed

We had a lovely meal here which was my first time in the MK pizza express. The wait staff were smiley and friendly and very helpful. The food came out hot although the start came out with the main which was the only annoying thing really. Other than that we really enjoyed it we were made to feel welcome and not shoved in a corner to put somewhere awkward that the pram might get in the way. Would definitely go back and Recommend:0)

Latest visit completely as to be expected. A complete reversal since last visit. We had great service, good food and a fun atmosphere. Everything back to the usual high standard. Unusually for a visit to Pizza Express we had a poor dining experience. They were very busy but the service was slow. Our mains were over cooked, my romana pizza was burnt across one side and wife's Fiorentina had a hard egg in the middle (should be runny). Strangely we were also bugged by tiny flies. Manager was very apologetic and gave us a discount off the bill. It's not usually like this.

My pizza was fine, my dougher pizza child menue was very small, she is 6 years old. My husband had cannelloni and he's meal was small too.

Below average pizza and spaghetti. You could even taste the tomato sauce from a can. Very disappointed for a pizza express restaurant.

We were a group of fourteen including eight 10 year olds. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were phenomenal, service with a smile and absolutely on top of their jobs. The pizzas were delicious and served very quickly. Thank you for a lovely meal.

The pizza was delicious, I didn't know what to expect as I haven't been to Pizza Ex in years. I had the thin crust pizza and I can say it was the best pizza I've had in the UK for a long time.

buying from here is the same as setting your money on fire. worst and I mean WORST pizza I have EVER had in my whole entire life. it was cut, the ingredients looked like they were scraped from the bottom of an empty jar. awful, just plain awful. do not buy, ever.

So I call in as a single diner. I wait to be served, and when I explain I'm a single diner, I then get offered a table next to a party of children below 10yrs of age. If the restaurant had been packed, I'd understand, but when I said to the manager I didn't want to sit there, she clearly became agitated and decided to offer me a table at the far end of the restaurant away from absolutely everyone. Once my food arrived, it was dumped in front of me. No one came over to check everything OK, and when I finished, the waitress said I get your bill... no offer of dessert menu or more drinks. Clearly, they were trying to clear the restaurant as it was 9pm. I'm sensing from the response below sarcasm. I think the wrong order was delivered to me. Pizza was not what I had ordered & was delivered dough balls instead of garlic bread and drink not included.

All the cheese and toppings were smushed to one side of the pizza/box.
