Pizza Express in Cheshire West and Chester

We arrived at 8:30pm on the 2nd October 2024 with about an hour and a half until closing time. First of i’d like to start with saying how annoyed we were at the service as it was completely and utterly incompetent . It felt as if because we were a group of uni students, we felt belittled and not taken serious of because of the complaint we made. The food took around 20 mins to come to the table with about another 5 tables waiting around us, when the food came we were not satisfied at all with appeal and taste of the food. Both the calamari and spicy prawns were cold and half frozen and the crispy potatoes were not like advertised. We did complain to the staff and her response was she was going to speak to the female manager on shift and we were not informed with what the manager had explained to her co worker. And we were also misinformed about the student discount that was displayed online, uni days advertised on like that the discount was 25% off the final bill or £7.95 for a classic pizza. We are not happy with the experience we had tonight and when complained we were not given an indication into what was going to happen. We would like either some form of refund or credit. As this service is not expected from any customer who steps into a respected restaurant

I thought the quality of the food as fantastic. The pizza express deal- free three course for children through August, was excellent value for money. The staff was attentive and kind.

Went to pizza express Cheshire oaks and has to be one place I’m fully backing not to go if your with anyone with a disability make staff member was very rude I don’t lace a sunflower lanyard down on the table to indicate someone on the table had a hidden disability which was very well ignored.. not only ignore but I took my own bowls to the kitchen area as he dint remove them when flinging down pizzas and not once asking us is we wanted any pepper or oils just went off to do nothing at all and once I’d collected my own stuff removed the stuff and got my own box’s to box up mine and my daughter food we wanted to take he went in to proceed to talk to me like I was stupid and I’d taken enough of being my own server to have him then to talk to me and keep on saying I don’t get how you don’t get it over and over as I was using vouchers and he just wanted me to hand them all over and I was just trying to work out which to use so said give me a min and he said at least 4 plus time I really don’t get why you can’t work it out and said just give we the vouchers… I said did you notice the lanyard on the table and can you stop being rude he was flapping around like I was I really wasn’t welcome and he had better things to do so got up and went to the manager I explained the rudeness he denied it clearly and tried to make out it wasn’t meant that way but I said you realise on the table someone’s maybe a disability as I’m not just using it for fun and he said I have issues like that made his rudeness better that he knew but proceeded to embarrass me at my table anyway… class.. my daughter in the end wanted till just pay and leave and I was like nope he shouldn’t be around anyone with ASD or other disabilities as both of us have hidden disabilities me having MS also and I still did his job… I’m not even sure it have proof they cancelled off my vouchers and refunded me but once I find the name of the server I will name him as this lad needs to be looked at as he has only one awareness and that happened to me his own self and reflection …

Excellent. Food was lovely, didn't take long at all. Waitroses were really nice and very helpful. Hard to get a table because it was dead busy.

Great experience after shopping. We were sat promptly despite not having a booking. All the staff were fab and very helpful, and the food was lovely and arrived quickly!

Decided to give a second chance as shopping in Cheshire Oaks and had been to blue planet. Restaurant busy as Saturday early evening, but not completely full by any means. Once again, staff really nice- starters great; my son’s tea was great he loved it. Unfortunately then nosedived like our last visit- waited ages for the mains and then when they came- absolutely freezing cold. I’ve had better Carbonara from Aldi unfortunately as well; however this is not the restaurants fault. The manager apologised when the bill came explaining that they had lost my wife’s pollo pasta, leading to the delay, and proceeded to knock 25% off the bill, which was really appreciated. Bottom line though 2 visits in the last 2 years, with awful food on both occasions. Despite having great staff, you go to a restaurant for food quality. Luckily the Pizza Express in Chester is fantastic and always gets it right.

Enjoyed a lovely late lunch/early dinner with daughter. Delicious food, good chilled Soave. We’ll return before the local school holidays begin!

Friendly service and tasty food, which arrived fairly quickly and was fresh. We enjoyed Fiorentina pizzas, dough balls and polenta chips! Prices are quite expensive but the food is very nice. It’s worth getting the app/becoming a member as you can earn rewards. Didn’t like that when the restaurant was more than half-empty, staff seated another group right next to us when there were loads of other tables available!

Pizza’s were very tasty and served piping hot.The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the server was lovely.This was the perfect mid shopping lunch.

It took one hour for our pizzas to arrive, it put such a downer on the meal. The pizza was ok, not much cheese so it felt dry. Won’t be going again. Prices are too high for what you get.

I am a simple man, planned pizza dinner, should be filling. The lack of 'pizza' is concerning for the price for which I added 2 toppings to then get those also sprinkled on. Asked for extra ham and realised they use is the cheap stuff that I feed the dog when hes been a good boy. The garlic butter ratio for dough balls was so off, 75% butter 25% garlic. On a Saturday night, they didnt have the ingredients at 7:00pm for thier Calzones... Dessert was cut small with the partners brownie that was also missing the ice cream on top... Pros: - The light atmosphere - The nice music with a perfect volume - The staff - General service - Fresh dough and flavour - Glass size Cons: - Lack of toppings/ingredients - Price per food - Price for toppings - Price for desserts - Missing utensils

Everytime we come to Cheshire Oaks we always come here and was unfortunately disappointed with our latest visit. We were seated near the door which did have a cold draught. When we had come last month they had no ice for the drinks as the machine was broken, and it still is! Speaking to staff they told us that no one is coming out to fix it till Christmas, which is not ideal. We both had pizzas which came quickly and were lovely, but I was disappointed with dessert. Ordered the chocolate brownie which states it comes warm, however arrived cold. It was sent back and reheated but again arrived cold. No check back to see if it was ok. Disappointing when you are spending £40+ on lunch.

Lovely place. Rather busy but didn’t have to wait long at all to order or receive food/ drink. Only two of us so we were sat near the door and it’s was freezing. Every time someone opened the door it wasn’t very nice. Waiting staff were very polite and friendly. It was very nice to see the manager on the floor. I work. In. F&B and it’s rare. Little pricey but for the quality of the food/ service we can’t complain. We weren’t asked about allergies, I didn’t mention it though as I knew my order was fine. Would visit again.

We’ve tried a number of the restaurants at Cheshire Oaks but hadn’t tried this one until today. We’ve learnt that they all get busy from just after 12 so turned up at 1150 and it was virtually empty. Menu is what you would expect with essentially 2 different pizzas bases - more traditional and a thin version - we went for the later. As usual in this type of place they make a big profit out of drinks - £3.85 for 330ml of coke! Pizzas were served in around 10 mins which was good and had a really good level of toppings on them. The thin pizza crust was great as you don’t feel you are being filled up with just the base so really enjoyed the flavours of the toppings - we had the spicy giuseppe and the burnt ends BBQ - both were great. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. Not the cheapest of lunches but we enjoyed the food

Average small pizza that was just similar to something from a supermarket but cost over £15 and over £5 for a 330ml bottle of beer, was still hungry afterwards. How on Earth they get away with charging these prices is beyond me. Won’t be going back.

The food was very good and the service was attentive. However, the waitress made a mistake with our order and only keyed one of the main courses, there was a short delay before this was rectified to our satisfaction. We ordered a glass of wine to accompany our meal which was very pleasant. Unfortunately the second glass was warm - this was replaced without question by the duty manager. All in a pleasant lunch - would visit again on our next shopping trip.

Visited on a busy Saturday afternoon with my wife and young son. Despite the restaurant being almost full, we were seated straight away which was great. The floor manager and our waitress were absolutely fantastic for the entire lunch; for customer service I’d give 5 stars Unfortunately, the food was probably the worst I’ve ever had at a pizza express- and we go all the time to all different venues in the country as my son loves it. The dough balls were hard as stones, my calamari was overdone with thin sauce, and my prawn pizza was absolutely awful- tasteless, minimal cheese and well over done. I’d score the food 1/5. Not sure if it was just that the chefs were overwhelmed with the orders, but looking at other reviews I’m not sure.

Arrived at the restaurant about 8.00 and were seated immediately, even asked if we had a preference to where we sat. Staff were very efficient in their service but left enough time to take your order without feeling pressured. Food arrived very quickly and steaming hot. Pasta was fabulous and the dough balls were really fresh. Had brownies for dessert and they were totally gorgeous. Had a problem with our Pizza Express app but the Manager, Christine, was wonderful and sorted it for us instantly. Will DEFINETELY be returning.

We had lunch on Wednesday 19 October. The indoor restaurant was full and doesn’t take dogs but Jen went out of her way seating us with our dog outside. She got us comfortable with the heaters and took care of our order. Fast, friendly and efficient service outside when the indoor restaurant was full so the staff were clearly extremely busy. Jen even brought out a little portion of chicken for our dog and a bowl of water. Above and beyond service which was greatly appreciated. Thank you so much Jen, We will return.

Dined here today, party of ten . We had a lovely waitress who was helpful, friendly and professional . Nothing was too much trouble . She made the afternoon so much more enjoyable, she was attentive to us and our children . We didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed a good few hours there . The other waitresses who helped at our table were also lovely and friendly As always couldn’t fault the food it was freshly made, hot and great tasting at a reasonable price , so hats off to the chefs too .Well done pizza express

I came here with my partner last week to celebrate ending my covid isolation (one of our first outings in the new year) and it was absolutely perfect!! the servers were so accommodating and friendly, the food was absolutely incredible. the pizza i had was gorgeous and the pasta my partner had was the best he’d ever had. i can’t wait to come back!!

When we arrived the restaurant was cold so we had to keep our jackets on, which was unpleasant.The waiter was chatty and very well mannered.He told us they had ran out of the buffalo mozzarella and would replace with extra cheese.We all ended up with very very little cheese never mind extra, my husband sent it back to which they replaced but still no where near extra cheese. We made a reservation for the Eat Out To Help Out scheme, and also because it was our first time looking after our 4-year-old nephew and wanted to take him somewhere nice. Booking was easy, and there was no queue to get into the restaurant. We were seated and seen to very quickly and at first I was told there was no bolognese which was a bit of a pain for me as I'm very fussy, however, the waitress came over later just to tell me they'd got it back in stock and that she could put it in for me. I did ask for it with no cheese, but it came with cheese, that was no issue though, I easily took the cheese off. Our waitress, Jen (it says on the receipt), went above and beyond for us - she was extraordinarily attentive, really kind and genuine and made our whole experience so much better. The online menu was not the easiest to use, but she recommended other dishes when the bolog wasn't initially available, she was also very kind in accepting special requests for our nephew. Food was great, hot and tasty. Social distancing easy. Would 100% visit again on account of our recent visit, and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends too. Just want to write about the unpleasant experience we had last week. Booked a table and when we arrived we were sat at this improvised table facing the wall in the way for waiters to get out of the bar area. We haven’t been asked of its okay or not, we decided that it’s isn’t and asked to be moved. We were in the end but it felt awkward and we could have easily skipped that part if we were asked from the start were would we like to sit as there were other small free tables available. Then the online menu was pretty slow and disconnected me a few times, then to top it off the pizza had a soggy bottom and nothing like how I remember it. The choice on the menu was considerably reduced and no one informed us about that beforehand, if we knew we would have cancelled our reservation as there was almost nothing that wasn’t spicy on there. No one checked with us during the meal or even after we finished and paid. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone, been to a pizza express before and food was fine and I returned, but definitely not again.

Stopped off at this Pizza Express for some tea this evening and had an amazing time. The woman serving us was absolutely fantastic, I’m not from around here but she made us feel very welcome and had a quick solution to any issues. Would definitely recommend and a massive credit to the lovely waitress :)

Turned up on spec Saturday evening. Friendly welcome and great service. Food and drinks came promptly and were very nice. Not been to a Pizza Express for several years: still good!

We used a voucher to eat here and the meal and service was excellent. All the pizzas are freshly prepared and there is a very good choice on the menu. To be recommended.

Nice enough food. Very poor service and very pricey drinks. Had a voucher for a starter and a main for £11.95 on the day we visited. Very reasonable. But drinks .... if you’re going; have tap water. We had three cokes and they were £13 on their own. Far too expensive. Overall good food but don’t buy drinks there.

A young man greeted us at the door and worked really hard- he seemed to be the only server on. I chose a caesar salad and was told they were out of caesar dressing but did I want something else as a replacement. I said yes I'd have pesto and the server said he'd put a house dressing on too. Both turned up in little dishes and the salad was nice BUT I was then charged 50p for pesto on the bill. Cheeky huh?

Outstanding Nduja Calzone. 2 cappuccinos, 2 diet cokes, 2 Nduja Calzones using Tastecard cost total £26:50, should have been £42. Great food, comfy seats.

Absolutely awful! Didn’t get shown to are table like the people in front. The waiter pointed at are table and said that he will bring some menus over. The same waiter came over to take are order and he came across rude. I had the bolognese and my partner had a pizza, my bolognese was cold, was waiting around 5 minutes to get someones attention. Then the manger came over and said he will get me a fresh one, when the manger took my food and went to the chefs, I could see the chefs and the waiter that took my order moaning about it, looks very unprofessional! When I finally got my pasta after another 20 minutes, my partner has finished his. No one came over to double check if it was okay and I didn’t get an apology, it just seemed that no one cared. Never disappointed

Popped in just after 12 on a very wet Thursday, offered a range of tables. Noted that children were well catered for with some activities for them. Offered a menu with great variety albeit no mention of hot drinks that we could spot. Ordered and we were asked whether any of us had any allergies - great! The food: three pizzas one potato, pulled pork and bacon; four cheese; and a Margarita, came within 15 minutes. It was very tasty indeed.

My Wife and I called in by chance very late on last night after some late night shopping. Sat down quickly and had a great lady serving us, top draw. The starters were only ok but the pizzas were absolutely superb and we will certainly return.

Great ambience and place. Busy due to being the xmas light switch on but the helpful staff found us a table immediately and we had fast great service throughout especially from Steven!

On a trip down to family, we visited pizza express for a family meal. We were warmly welcomed and our drinks order was quickly taken and delivered to our table. One of our party has a food allergy and our waitress patiently explained what could be ordered. Our food order was taken and quickly issued to us. Our waitress was friendly, courteous and a credit to the restaurant. Overall an excellent visit

Hawks Class visited pizza express this morning for a school visit. Only one word can describe the trip AMAZING!!!! The class had a fabulous time it was all really organised, the lesson was pitched just at the right level for all the pupils abilities! Rick and his team made all the pupils feel very welcome and relaxed! Lovely to hear the class speaking on the bus on the way back to school about how much they has enjoyed themselves and had “the best day ever”. Thank you all so much for a brilliant time!

I had the calamari which were overcooked, and indeed some of them were burnt, served with a very thin dip. Not appetising. I followed with an American pizza which was a lot better and improved the experience. The waitress was pleasant and there was little delay in being served.

Me and a friend called in for a late lunch around 2pm. We were seated and the waitress visited our table within a few minutes to take our drinks order. We both ordered lime and soda which when came surprised us both as the glasses were 1/3rd full with lime cordial.

My first time eating at a PizzaExpress and it didn’t disappoint. We had a gift voucher and also had a voucher for 3 courses for £14.95 which is really good value. I had the garlic bread with cheese to start and it was lovely! I had the lasagne for main and the portion size was huge and really tasty. Finally had the vanilla cheesecake for dessert and again it was lovely. Really impressed and staff were so friendly. Will definitely be returning!

I visited the Cheshire oaks outlet with 3 other family members and decided to book a table at pizza express, I was told my Christine a manager on the door than there was no appointments for another two hours, 10 minutes later I sent my daughter in to book a table as I noticed new faces going in and getting tables and she booked her in for the same amount of people straight away! I then confronted Christine about her being rude not booking me and table and lying saying there was no availability and she just laughed and walked off!!!! Terrible women to be offering a service to customers!!!!

4 of us popped in whilst shopping, friendly staff and clean place, however I had the beef lasagne and it seemed like a smaller portion to other Pizza Express outlets, other than that a nice visit.

We came here with our tastecard. The new Crab & Risotto balls were good apart from the fact that you only get 3 for £6.50ish! - this came with a sour cream dip which didn't accompany it well at all. I had the lasagne for main which was lovely. The staff member was polite. Just another pizza express.

Stopped here for tea before going home after a day shopping with friend. Had leggera pizza which comes with little salad and I had a Caesar salad which was huge and delicious. Ill definitely be having this again. We struggled to find a voucher code relevant for this particular place and could only get 15% off food bill but every little helps as they say!

We visited early on a Saturday evening and had the 2 course set menu. Delicious food, good value, great service. Will certainly be back.

Was looking for a place to sit & eat whilst shopping. This seemed a nice place with 5 stars on the doors. The place was very busy and we were seated within minutes if entering. We ordered our mains using the O2 priority app which cost £5 per mains (normally around £12-£15) each, great saving as never been Pizza Express as we would go Pizza Hut or take away Dominos or Papa Johns. Very nice food, service & Restaurant. Staff were lovely & the wash rooms very clean, Janice the 5 stars

We visited on Saturday afternoon (Bank Holiday weekend, so very busy) and were very impressed by the attentive and helpful staff. They even had to contend with a very rude family with two children, who sat next to us. They seemed to find anything and everything to complain about (all completely unwarranted as far as we could see) and allowed their children to make a dreadful mess, including all over the floor, but the staff handled it all with good grace which we thought was incredibly professional.

We stopped here for dinner following a busy few hours shopping. As with all chains such as this the menu is standard throughout however the service varies considerably. We had both excellent service and food on this occasion.

After a few hours shopping, we decided to finish our trip with a visit to Pizza Express.

Very good, speedy service, friendly, good food and we managed to use a voucher so the bill was pretty impressive too. I recommend this place and would go back in a flash.

My son even went as far to say it was ‘the nicest pizza he had ever had’, high praise from someone who has enjoyed lots of pizzas in other restaurants! With a 25% off food voucher our meal was well worth what we paid. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and will definitely be paying a return visit!

I visited pizza express today with my mum before shopping at Cheshire oaks. I’d heard the restaurant had very good gluten free options and that it did as all pizzas could be made with gluten free dough. We were told all toppings were gluten free anyway, so these were all the same as food others would be buying. The pizza we bought was off the romana part of the menu and was lovely to eat, however it was half the size of a normal pizza of the same price. This was disappointing as the only difference was the gluten free dough and for what we got, the pizza was very over priced. Good service but not good value for money.

My family and I visited pizza express at Cheshire Oaks for tea on a Friday evening. During previous visit we have had to wait considerable time for a table so we decided to book using the app. It was surprisingly easy and the table was waiting upon our arrival.

Pleasant ambiance, good choice of music. The lasagne was very tasty. The service from waitress Jen was exemplary.well done pizza express.

Whilst shopping at Cheshire Oaks we stopped at Pizza Express for a spot of lunch. They couldn’t seat us straight away as it was very busy so we booked the next available table which was 40 mins wait so we did a bit more shopping to pass the time.

We came to pizza express for a fmaily meal, we had booked a table so we were shown to it straight away. Our waiter rick was lovely and friendly, nothing was an issue for him, he was very attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed, great member of staff as were all the staff too. Great atmosphere in the reasturant and would definitely reccomend!

After a couple of hours shopping we decided to head to pizza express for dinner. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly waiter and shown to our window table. Our waiter was called Rick and really knew his stuff. My wife is 5 months pregnant and was unsure as to what to eat! Rick recommended the legera polo ad Astra. Our food came out in good time and the whole restaurant had a relaxed and warm vibe. Very enjoyable and would come again if in Cheshire oaks!

Food was fantastic, but alcohol incredibly expensive. Literally £6.95 for a bottle equivalent to a pint. Wine was expensive and served warm and slightly corked, so that was a slight let down for us. Also tried to use a student discount and was told it didn’t work on a Friday, but there was nothing in the discount code to state this.

Been a long time since me and daughter had food here so this time we had been celebrating my grandson 1st birthday at THE blue planet . We were seated were we wanted to sit and the young lady who served us couldn’t do enough for us . The food was served all together and we didn’t have to wait long . An to Top it off the young lady warmed my grandsons bottle up just as he was about to wake . Great service nice food and warm service goes along way . Didn’t get the young waitresses name but she deserved her tip , oh not forgetting the waiter who fixed our rocking table . 10/10

My husband and I visited this restaurant with our 6 year old during a shopping trip today. They were quite busy as was outlet part due to sales.

We had a really lovely family meal at Pizza Express! Thank you to our wonderful waiter Francisco! All the staff were friendly. Pizza was perfect, kids meal was excellent value! Shall be back soon!

My wife ordered a starter and I ordered a pizza, we asked for both to be served at the same time. My wife had nearly finished her food before mine was even put in the oven. Staff lied to us, saying it's on the way, it will be three minutes. When we challenged the manager she said it was human error and there was nothing she could do. She was very off hand. No apology given. As by this time my wife had finished her food, we left. Without me eating. Appalling service and attitude of staff. Only given one star so that I can review.

The service we received by our waiter Rick today was excellent.The food was so yummy the lasagne is so tasty, been here a few times and the pizzas are the best ever too! Really nice atmosphere there this evening felt really relaxed, thanks so much Rick nothing was to much for him.

we visited pizza express cheshire oaks today following the fireworks and christmas light switch on, we were greeted by a lovely service and sat down quickly, we were told there was a wait on food due to it being busy but food came quickly and was perfect, our server Loz was polite and interacted amazingly with my youngest child who wanted to pay the bill with 1p. I very rarely have such positive experiances with staff going the extra mile to try and speak to my little one and she came away very happy. considering how busy their night must have been all the staff where thorough and service with a smile! i certainly would return and recommend to all.

Good selection of pizzas. Drinks are expensive and choice is very limited if you don't want wine. Service is fast and friendly.

Shattered after a long Saturday walking round the ever increasingly difficult to navigate building site that is Cheshire Oaks. Opted for tried and tested Pizza Express (after checking there was a valid code to use). Had the usual dough balls and mozarella / tomato combination very nice. Both had pasta but disappointed it was only warm in places and not hot as expected. Sent them back, staff member was apologetic and got them reheated, both were then fine and very hot as should have been originally. Cheesecake and choc cake fine, won't have pasta next time.

The food is always top notch at Pizza Express and at this particular Pizza Express the staff are always fantastic! So friendly and always helpful! The manager seems to have a great relationship with his staff and you can tell by the great atmosphere that things are good there. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I must admit the Pizza in this particular Pizza Express restaurant is exceptional, notably with 2 for 1 meal voucher from Meerkat makes it outstanding value for money Pizza. Service in this place is also very friendly and my praise and admiration goes for Jen who did an excellent job in that busy Sunday afternoon.

Relaxed friendly clean restaurant. Smiley staff who were welcoming served quickly with lovely food. Served by Loz who took time and listened to what we wanted. Nothing too much trouble for her

Busy so worth booking. Staff were very helpful and efficient. We had to wait a few minutes for our table as the people sat there were just paying their bill. It was no problem to us at all and the manager kept apologising for the delay which was nothing. We were served very quickly and the food also arrived quickly and promptly. Service was excellent Food was amazing, you couldn't fault it.

I always thought Pizza Express was good quality until my visit here! It has definitely gone down hill. The Bolognese pasta dish came out like a burnt hard pasta bake around the sides, like it had been placed in an oven. It was dry, crispy, hard and burnt around the edges, awful! I sent it back and asked for it to be cooked properly and fresh. I come from a big Italian family and they would have been applauded by the quality of this! Meanwhile my families pizza's arrived. The sloppy Giuseppe pizza was just sloppy with lots of tomatoes and not much Giuseppe meat topping. They had finished their pizza's by the time my dish arrived, which was sitting on the side for 5 minutes before the manager realised it was there waiting and brought it over to me. My Bolognese arrive this time with loads of sauce and very little pasta, so I had a dish full of sloppy mince meat and nothing to eat it with. I actually left the restaurant feeling hungry, it was awful. I will never go back there again! I told the manager of my disappointment and they took my dish off the bill. When we went to pay for the bill the pay machine wasn't working. It took so long to leave the building. You also had to ask for everything and get people's attention just to get some service. Overall a terrible experience.

My husband and I were given a number of restaurant choice gift cards. After successfully using 2 elsewhere we decided to try our local Pizza Express. We were quickly seated despite not pre-booking, but it was a Monday evening. We were quick to be served drinks and our main meal and that is where the good service ended. As the restaurant became more busy the waiter who was serving us seemed to be running around tending to 60% + of the restaurant whilst the other waiter and Manager took their sweet time tending to the rest of the restaurant. Our main meals were exceptional. I had the Carbonara Romano Pizza and Steve had the American. The plates were cleared away and the dessert menu given to us and then we waited........ and waited. Despite the Manageress not being busy herself she saw me gesturing to her and ignored me and didn't send the other wait to us. We had to wait 20 minutes u til our waiter became available. He took our order and we waited 15 minutes fir our dessert because he was so busy. The deserts were delightful, the bundt cake and salted caramel gelato and then we waited another 20 minutes for our waiter to become available to take payment despite that the Manageress and the other waiter saw me holding my card in my hand. The couple next to us were refused a voucher and had to pay full price for their meal. Our restaurant choice voucher was also refused. For the sake of 1 pizza each and 1 cold dessert each we were in the restaurant almost 2 hours, most of which was spent waiting for service.

Fast food restaurant, so place isn’t as clean as you’d want it to be, tables ok but don’t look below. Ran out of toilet roll when visiting the toilets. Food ok but some of the service was pants, food dumped down so quickly didn’t have chance to ask for salt & pepper when I did ask for salt it was empty. Paid and left didn’t leave tip as it didn’t justify it.

We decided to book a table to coincide with a shopping trip. We were greeted promptly upon arrival and offered a booth even though it had to be cleaned first when there were a few ready tables that they could’ve directed us to.

Staff clearly didn’t want to get out of bed this Monday! The girls where incredibly unhelpful and moody. My sons pizza had a long hair on it. I’m never going to a pizza express again.

The restaurant was very busy so we were told to wait 20 minutes but we got a table within 5 minutes. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the food came rather quickly.
